Today it is JP Morgan getting it in the neck with a $1.7 billion fine for not blowing the whistle on Ponzi scheme operator Bernie Madoff. Ahead of the Madoff collapse JP Morgan got most of its own capital out of Madoff funds. Others were not so prescient.
