BREAKING: Concha shows the race to the bottom that will destroy Purplebricks

This website has never been a great supporter of Concha (CHA) but the Chris Akers vehicle has today announced an investment which shows you that Purplebricks (PURP) is heading for oblivion. Its "disruptive" business model is going to get disrupted and here is one reason why.

Concha - Stop bleating on Ve - you screwed up please no second helpings

Dear Chris Akers. Excuses are like arseholes. We all have them. And no-one cares. And that brings us to today's announcement from your company Concha (CHA) regarding its disastrous investment in failed unicorn Ve Interactive.
Despite there being stacks of red flags Concha invested c £4 million in Ve in a £1 billion valuation, a decision which we pointed out at the time was completely bonkers.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: On dangerous ground telling a joke about crap Scottish Football

As the Rangers (RFC) comedy show is back into town again. I could not resist it. Elewhere I discuss Challenger (CHAL), Concha (CHA), a golden stockmarket rule or two, Strategic Minerals (SML) and how its honesty on matters LOC compares to that of the liars running the fraud African Potash (AFPO), Quadrise Fuels (QFI) and then in some detail, Telit Communications (TCM)

It took a year but my "insanity" call on Concha 100% validated

Almost exactly a year ago, investment vehicle Concha (CHA) spunked £4 million on a 0.43% stake in new media darling Ve Interactive a deal and valuation that I branded as "insane". Hey ho, today's Sunday Telegraph suggests that the Sheriff of AIM is right once again.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Treating White Van man & the JAM's with Contempt - Chancellor Hammond Sucks

I start with the tale of Concha (CHA) and Ve Interactive from earlier - see HERE. What does that tell us about bubbles, especially in tech. Watch out for similar catastrophes at companies such as Allied Minds (ALM) and FastForward (FFWD). I then move onto the Budget and Chancellor Hammond's betrayal of the self employed which gives a lie to the idea that this Government wants to reach out to those Just About Managing and to those who are prepared to risk all to do what this country needs and become an entrepreneur.

TomWinifrith Bearcast 15 March - At last I can speak again

At last I can speak again for reasons I explain in the podcast. Then it is onto Circle Oil (COP), Coms (COMS), Totally (TLY), Stellar Diamonds (STEL) and Concha (CHA). And that is it for me now to bed with Oakley as I am still in a bit of pain.

Concha - call me old fashioned but its latest acquisition is insane

Concha (CHA) has finally done a deal. Chris Akers can call me an old fart who does not understand the world of new media and he may well be right but what he has done appears insane.

Concha has paid £4 million for a 0.43% stake in Ve Interactive Ltd a new media "unicorn" This is not new cash for new shares but shares bought from the founders. The price paid per share (£250) is the same as the last funding round so Concha can claim its decision is validated by VCs.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 22 December - sheer comedy from Mosman, Rapidcloud and the Arian clowns

Cripes there is so much entertainment provided by the clowns who run shite companies on the AIM casino. Where do I start? This podcast covers Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN), Rapidcloud (RCI), Arian Silver (AGQ), Concha (CHA), Rosslyn Data (RDT), LGO Energy (LGO), Fastjet (FJET), Afriag (TOAST), UK Oil & Gas (JOKE), Jiasen (FRAUD), Nostra Terra Oil & Gas (NTOG) and Independent Resources (IRG).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 21 December: Lenigas not the only scumbug on AIM, ooops I forgot

On today's regular bearcast naturally I do comment on a few Jabba The Hutt stocks - notably Afriag (TOAST) as they are tanking but the main David Lenigas leaves the AIM Casino bearcast is HERE. Elsewhere I look at 88 Energy (88E), New World Resources (NWR), Rightster (RSTR), CH Bailey (BLEY), Iofina (IOF), ECR Minerals (ECR), Gable (GAH), Concha (CHA), Conroy Gold (CGNR),  Petropavlovsk (POG) and Alba Minerals (ALBA)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 17 December - Concha another day of shame for AIM

I am sitting here with my father in Shipston. We have just had a long argument about the deaths of Cranmer, Latimer & Ridley. Naturally we both insisted we had the facts right. I am now 1p better off as I was right. My father has gone to the White Bear early in protest. Back to the podcast, I start with US base rates and why the UK will follow and what that means (house price crash, bad for certain equities). Then it is the AIM disgrace of the day Concha (CHA), onto Afriag (AFRI), Inspirit (INSP), Ultimate Sports (USG), Fastjet (FJET), and the shocker of a July IPO Adgorithms (ADGO). It is another day of shame for AIM.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 15 December - Fitbug tits up poll & is it Jabba or Chris Oil for the Christmas Carol?

The Mrs listened to me recording Bearcast today and said that I seemed very happy. Maybe it is the thought of the next Afriag (AFRI) article I am working on or perhaps it was the second painkiller of the day kicking in? Or maybe a truly moronic Bulletin Board Moron posting? In this upbeat mood I discuss who should feature in this year's three part Christmas Carol? Fat Aussie share ramper David Lenigas or market abuser Chris Oil? Or should I run two series? Then a discussion on when Fitbug (FITB) goes bust. After that - in a bad language section - I discuss Arian Silver (AQG) and its fucktard PR man Dominic Baretto. I move onto Plethora (PLE), Aveva (AVV), Concha (CHA), 88 Energy (88E) and Caza Oil & Gas (CAZ) before rattling off the names of a few other small oilers that really are zeros.

On reflection: Warning bad language throughout

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 14 December - boy these new painkillers are good

Heck if you are a shareholder in a Jabba The Hutt company they might even work for you. I am on new prescription pills and flying. In today's podcast I cover LGO Energy (LGO), tiouch on Afriag (AFRI) and then InternetQ (INTQ) more on that tomorrow, target price 0p. There is a detailed look at Audioboom (BOOM) and a look at Circle Oil (COP) and Tribal (TRB) which have a lot in common with 3 big name zeros I call out in the latest UK Investor Show magazine out today HERE . Finally a look at Tertiary Minerals (TYM) and Concha (CHA)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 10 December - having problems doing business in Greece, can InternetQ help me

I seem to be struggling to do business with my olives here in Kambos, Greece. I appear to have sold the oil - all bar 16 litres which I am taking back to the UK. But so far I have paid the press 16 Euro for the transaction which now sees it owning 200 litres of MY oil. Surely this is not right? Perhaps InternetQ (INTQ) runs the olive press? In this podcast I also cover LGO Energy (LGO) just to keep Wildes happy - Jabba the Hutt fave Rare Earth Minerals (REM) and European Metals (EMH), Concha (CHA), Tern (TERN), Imaginatik (IMTK), Peer TV (PTV) and the looming debacle at Chris Oil fave Mkango Resources.

Evil Knievil closes Quindell and Avanti shorts – biggest position now Concha

The infamous bear raider Evil Knievil says that he has now closed out his short positions in both Quindell (QPP) and Avanti Communications (AVN). He tells me “I may have made a mistake” but he has a neutral position. Both stocks, however, remain on his watch list and he says he may re-enter the fray and it will not be on the long tack. Both he insists are hugely overvalued but calling short term moves is hard.

Tom Winnifrith's BearCast 14th November

Its back to the regular BearCast now although I suggest that you all listen to my Quindell, how grim is the cash position special HERE from a couple of hours ago. In this edition I look at the ongoing Equities First Holdings LLC scandal rocking the AIM Casino, IGAS, Optimal Payments and of course Quenron. I then look at old favourite CPP, Cyprotex and Reach4E. I will have a look at Concha over the weekend, apologies on that one I forgot to "deal with it" today.

Tom Winnifrith's BearCast (with a sore head) - 28 October

I blame Amanda van Dyke and Real Man manager Maribelle for leading me badly astray last night and I am not at my sharpest. Struggling on, today's bearcast covers Concha, Castleton, Verdes Asset management, Quenron, AIM Regulaton and the FCA.

Tom Winnifrith's BearCast 27th October - CEOs on AIM stealing money edition

The Matt Earl, Evil Knievil, Lucian Miers, Tom Winnifrith Summer Bear Portfolio revisited and updated view

Back in the summer, July 9, the 4 Bears sat down and compiled our top ten shorts for the summer. There has been one disaster – Concha (CHA) – but despite that an average loss (gain for us) of 18.2% per short is not bad. So where do we stand now?

I speak not for the others but for myself and based on conversations we have had of late. Would we buy any of these stocks? Certainly not. Which in my view are still shorts?

Concha – Chris Akers prize bullshitter: Ramp, Ramp Ramp

I flagged up 6 days ago on 10th June that Concha (CHA) was at 2.18p the most ramped and overvalue stock on AIM. The shares are now 1.55p and the stock remains grotesquely overvalued, a point reinforced by a statement on 11th June by chairman Chris Akers who really is a prize bullshitter.

The statement came out on the 11th and reads:

Is Concha the Biggest Ramp on AIM?

Concha (CHA) is quite possibly the biggest ramp on AIM. I Know that my pal Nigel Wray owns 10% but, sorry mate, the current valuation is just ludicrous.

This company was floated by Chris Akers as an investment vehicle last year and within six month it had poured nearly all its cash into companies that essentially – turned out to be frauds.

Concha – back on Aim but who is aboard the Akers Express?

Concha (CHA), the latest vehicle of investment hot shot Chris Akers managed to complete a £1 million placing at 0.35p and another acquisition in time to announce at 7 AM on Friday. Had it left it any later its shares would have been booted off the Cesspit. As it is they moved ahead to 0.41p – valuing the company at £3.3 million. The Akers express has left the station. I sense it is now full steam ahead.
