Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Speaking at length about AIM fraud to a bird from Bloomberg

She was horrified. I am not sure she agreed with my line that the mainstream press were part of the problem not the solution but she agreed that AIM had its issues. On the bearcast today I look at Red Leopard (RLH), Formation Group (FRM), Mobile Streams (MOS) and its charming CEO - Andalas (ADL) - whose CEO is a tosser - Strat Aero (AERO), Finnaust (FAM), Inspirit (INSP), Plus 500 (PLUS), Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO)), TrakM8 (TRAK) and Cloudtag (CTAG) plus one way of looking at it which sees 300 companies on AIM as a sort of fraud.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the storm clouds cover the mountains where the Greek Hovel lies

Though I may have pneumonia thanks to Paul Scott, I am now safely in Kalamata looking up at the mountains where I live when in Greece and the storm clouds are ominous. So back to the stockmarket I look at Finnaust (FAM), Audioboom (BOOM), Avanti Communications (TOAST), Condor Gold (CNR), Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), Webis (WEB) and Anglesey Mining (AYM) which is spouting bullshit today as it places.

Finnaust forced by The Sheriff of AIM to fess up - placing is underway

Earlier today I broke the news that Finnaust (FAM) was trying to get a £7 million placing away at 7p HERE. The company has now fessed up that a placing is underway but it says that it is only trying to raise £5 million. I guess that the roadshow is not going so well then. Maybe broker SP Angel should have put out a 68 page ramptastic buy note ahead of passing round the begging bowl not just a 34 page one?

BREAKING: Finnaust - placing at 7p to raise £7m? After the pump...

A City source tells me that broker SP Angel is right now endeavouring to raise £7 million for Greenland mining outfit Finnaust (FAM) at 7p per share. At a current 8p to 8.75p the company is valued at £40 million on AIM.

FinnAust - a dose of reality? Bearish note

FinnAust (FAM) has been one of the soaraway success stories of the AIM casino in 2016 but the market cap is now c£50 million. Is that a tad ahead of events? Align Research normally pens bullish note on stocks where it has a, fully declared stake, and where it is compensated by the company. I doubt FinnAust paid for this note which is very bearish indeed.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 12 November: Hero (Optibiotix) & a stack of zeros

In this podcast i start with two shares on the up: Optibiotix (OPTI) and Volex (VLX). One's a dog and it is not Optibiotix. There is a word on Finnaust (FAM) a caveat on yesterday's bearcast. Then onto Ascent Resources (AST) - that may surprise you - Oilex (OEX), Rolls Royce (RR), Ubisense (UBI), Communisis (CMS), Spire Health (SPI) and Atlas Developments (ADSS) where flip flop is talking more nonsense.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 11 November - cats, Lenigas & Finnaust: placing ahoy?

Naturally I start with the big news of the day - an update on the annual medical of my two cats Tara and Oakley. Then it is onto explaining who gets to define boring, spitefull and vendetta in terms of my earlier podcast on overvalued junk Uk Oil & Gas (UKOG). Then why Gary Newman is wrong on Plethora (PLE). Then onto Finnaust (FAM), Gulf Marine (GMS), Centaur Media (CAU) and POS Golden Saint Resources (GSR)
