Standard listed Cobra Resources (COBR) is the sort of enterprise that gives Aussie stock promoters a bad name. It has two brokers to pump the stock and do placings as often as possible, the esteemed blue chip houses of Peterhouse and SI Capital. Lots of placings, lots of dilution, but lots of commission, coke and hookers all round. It also employs THREE firms of the calibre of LSE Share Talk to pump the stock to mug punters. But an RNS release of 17 August surely goes a step too far.

Neil Woodford has released a short video aimed at reassuring investors in his now suspended Equity Income Fund. It will have the opposite effect. It is stumbling, incoherent, in parts misleading and frankly Neil looks like an ill man who is under mammoth stress. I can see why.

I have already flagged up comments by those close to Atlantic Petroleum, which showed that in a desperate attempt to ramp its shares ahead of yet another bailout placing, Andalas (ADL) was over-egging the Badger Pudding. Now Atlantic has gone on the record in a way that exposes Andalas big time and surely Nomad Beaumont Cornish must now force Andalas to issue a correction and stop its misleading pre-placing ramping?

Today Joshua and I have coffee with the fit young mums then we are off to go to his first business lunch. I have a work lunch and my boy is coming too. That is the deal for folks wanting to meet up on a Wednesday to Friday. I start today's podcast with ADVFN (AFN) and On-Line (ONL) talking pure 100% unadulterated crypto bollocks. Then it is onto Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) - good news yes but given its track record of allowing insider dealing, misleading customers and investors and, arguably, wholesale securities fraud I would not buy. I look at The People's Operator (TPOP) and question the wording of today's RNS - the shares are 71% down but this could well be toast by Christmas - look at the wording again! Serial misleader and worthless bag of AIM listed shite Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) today announced that it has secured death spiral financing for £13-26 million from the lowest of the low DS funders, Bracknor. That is bad enough and will see the shares forward sold to buggery, as I will outline in a separate piece. What is worse is that it exposes Advanced for again misleading investors.

osslyn Data Technology (RDT) shares continue to slide and now trade at only 9.75p - valuing this company at just £7.4 million. It listed two and a half years ago after Cenkos signed off on a misleading prospectus at 33p and it has been downhill ever since. The company insists it will not run out of cash before it his breakeven. We shall see.

I am now aware that the FCA has been asked to investigate whether Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN) has been misleading investors in its RNS releases with regards to the Murchison permit operations. The matter does seem pretty black and white to me.

I showed quite clearly yesterday that the latest investor presentation given by Neil Ritson, the hapless CEO of LGO Energy (TOAST) was misleading. Now I move on to show that this is not a one-off, this company - whose shares are worth 0p - has serious "form."

An RNS from LGO Energy (LGO) late yesterday announces that hapless CEO Neil Ritson is presenting at yet another conference in Trinidad. Boy that guy must have some air miles. The presentation which you can download HERE is truthful but misleading in respect to the calamitous decline in output. I refer you to page 2 which is below. This is a shocker.
