I am sure that you can remember those so very dry summers of a few years ago when the BBC, the Guardian and most of the deadwood press brought you pictures of dry and parched river beds.“You’d better get used to it” we were all warned, notably by that smug bastard Rogger Harrabin of the Beeb, “This is going to happen more and more because of global warming.” Hmmmm…
After eighteen months of floods here at the Welsh Hovel, we are right now above water but half a mile downstream by the bridge over to the accursed English, the River Dee has just burst its banks yet again. This, as I am sure you can guess, will be attributed by Harrabin et al to man-made climate change. Californian wildfires = global warming. Lots of rain in August in Wales = man-made climate change. Of course, it is never anything to do with the weather which naturally changes.
