The announcement that Boris Johnson wanted to introduce Covid Marshals was seen by many of us that, combined with lockdowns, curfews and compulsory face nappy wearing, the Tory party had stopped caring about civil liberties and freedom. Rather Dim Tory MP Simon Hoare then confirmed this with his historically illiterate attack on those of us who do believe in freedom. But today it got worse.
Tory MP Tobias Ellwood does not think that Covid Marshals are enough. He wants Boris to bring in the army, saying “let’s maximise their use.” For what Tobias? Dealing with folks who do not wear masks or social distance or who dare to meet up with six of their friends? Hell’s teeth, since when did the Tory party think that martial law was a good idea and use the pretence of a disease killing fewer folks than are being killed by automobiles?
