The flood waters are now more or less static at c9 metres down at the bridge so that is high but not at record levels. Here at the Welsh Hovel the first three photos are from the garden. In last year’s record high floods the waters reached right up to the back doorstep. This time they are merely in the bottom reaches of the lawn but they stretch for miles.
The photo below is of the view as youl eave the farmyard.The lawn which ends with a Ha Ha is on your left, the fields ahead and the lower orchard next to the river on your right.The photo below shows an orchard under water.
Finally two photos from above the Ha ha on the upper field.The first one shows the Ha Ha surrounded by water the second the view up our main fiekd which is now largely a lake with water pouring in to it from the end of the orchard.
