Right now there is building work underway at Woodlarks and that means that, for the first time I can remember, there will be no Christmas Grotto this year. However the Woodlarks Santa will be doing a mobile tour of schools with the sort of special needs Woodlarks is set up to deliver and to visit local hospices to see very ill children. “I want your money” as that poltroon Bob Geldof used to say.
To fund presents for the sick kids or those with special needs it will take a minimum of £2,000, ideally £3,000. Now I know times are tough. Even Roland “Fatty” Cornish is having to scrape by, cutting back to just 11 courses on his daily luncheon and skipping cream cake with elevenses on Thursdays. But before we start to crowd fund for London’s worst Nomad, think of those who really do deserve our thoughts and support at this time of year. Can you spare a fiver?
If you have, at my suggestion, been shorting stocks like Cineworld or Tingo this year I am sure you can afford even more.
Please, even if your donation is a token one, make it today HERE.
In advance, I thank you.
