We do not know how any of these 250 folk are still alive. Some have been murdered, some have been raped, some are known to being used as a human shield around the rat-hole where Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is hiding out. My 250 heroes of the year are the around 250 folks men, women, kids, a baby, kidnapped by Hamas on October 7. They have been held in unspeakable conditions and suffer every day. Some have been released in exchange for Palestinian prisoners convicted of terror offences.
Though the BBC and other Hamas propogandists might try to suggest this is a prisoner swap, it is not. Those taken hostage by Hamas, a clear war crime, are wholly innocent. Those folks marching for “Palestine” in London never mention the hostages. Thrice in the past fortnight Israel has accepted a cease fire deal which would allow the surviving hostages to go home. Thrice Hamas has rejected a ceasefire. Yet the useful idiots and overt Jew haters still march through London and other big Cities across the west demanding a ceasefire and blaming the Jews for there not being one.
And they never mention the hostages. I do. They are my heroes of the year and cannot be forgotten.
The video below is from Israel and is a musical tribute to the hostages and a reminder of their plight. I cannot imagine any other country in the Middle East being as diverse, creative and liberated to be able to produce such a magnus opus. As we prepare for 2024 let us not forget the hostages. If Hamas freed them tomorrow, this war would be almost over yet the marchers in London will want you to forget about these victims of a war crime, to pretend they do not exist. Don’t fall for that. Remember all the hostages.
