Ghastly lawyer and academic and, almost, permanent guest on low grade daytime TV Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu loves the controversy that comes with her professional race baiting. But at some stage you would hope that her outbursts would be so vile that media bosses will deny her the oxygen of publicity. Maybe the tweet below is that tipping point as she suggests a moral equivalence between ISIS and the IDF, the Israeli Defence Forces. Her cause is Shamima Begiim who ran away agead 15 to join ISIS where she was a willing participant in evil.
ISIS committed genocide, that is real genocide trying to eliminate a whole race, the Yazdis. Thousands of yazidi women were raped and forced into sexual slavery by the all male army. ISIS beheaded aid workers, slaughtered thosuands of captured Iraqi troops who had surrended. It burned folks alive in cages. The heads of its victims were put up on spikes or kicked around in the street like footballs. Folks were thrown from rooftops for breaking the code of the morality police.
The IDF is the army of a democratic state. Men and women serve in that army as do soldiers in same sex marriages, arabs, Christians and Jews all serve unlike ISIS where only Arabs adhering to one strict branch of Islam can serve.
The IDF defends its nation from the murders and rapists of Hamas who want to torture and kill civilians just for being Jews. Yes the IDF makes mistakes sometimes but to compare it to ISIS is an abomination. Only someone who truly hates the Jewish state could make such a comparison and, to be fair to most of the Hamas supporters marching through London each weekend, most of them would accept that there is a difference, not least that the IDF has never claimed responsibility for mass attacks on civilians in the West whereas ISIS has.
Dr Shola should be cold shouldered and never appear on out screens again. Wy she has not been called out for this by the political and media class defies explanation.
