Are you coming to Sharestock on September 7?

Sharestock is looming. The date is September 7. The lawn is getting into shape. A team of helpers led by my two eldest daughters are lined up as are the speakers. All we need now is you! For what, I increasingly think, will be my last ever show.

Folks think it is easy putting on investor shows. It is not! I have been doing it for more than 20 years and it is a hard slog and I reckon that, with added time for bad behaviour, my sentence is almost done. This year’s ShareStock will either be my last show or the penultimate one, that is what I have agreed with the Mrs and what I am telling you now. Increasingly I think it is the last one.

So let’s go out with a bang: please do come along to our farmhouse between Chester and Wrexham on September 7 for what will be a great day.

The numerous reasons to come along include:

Top speakers including Jim Mellon (Britain’s Buffett), bear raiders Matt Earl (the Dark Destroyer), Lucian Miers (the Bard of the Boleyn) and Boatman Capital (the nemesis of Argo Blockchain). There is oil guru Peter Brailey, AI expert Brian Kinane and small cap expert (especially on the short tack) Evil Banksta. There is myself, Cathal Friel of Open Orphan & European Green Transition, Harry Adams of Kefi and Aiden Bishop of Bluebird Merchant

The joy of Sharestock is that you not only hear the talks but you can mingle with and chat to the speakers ALL day over a beer or a cup of tea.
You can get full details and book your tickets at
www.Sharestock.co.uk

Then there is the food. From breakfast at 8.30 to Chef Vijay’s Indian lunch, tea including Bara Brith made by myself and Joshua and a supper of cold salmon, and home grown stuffed marrow and home made ice cream. During supper a Welsh male voice choir led by Joshua’s Welsh teacher will entertain you with song. I have just made the jam ( blackcurrant and strawberry) for the breakfast croissants.

No doubt Lucian, Matt and Evil Banksta will keep folk entertained, drinking late into the night in the family kitchen.

It will all take place on the lawns at my family farm here in Wales, half way between Wrexham and Chester. Joshua will run his croquet contest and you will get a chance, before anyone else to sample a new home produced alcoholic drink. We have an extra tent this year just for the booze including Wrexham Lager, Cheshire Cat Ale and much more.

You can also fish for salmon or pike on the river all day long., just bring your own rod.

You can check out local accommodation and buy tickets at www.sharestock.co.uk .

This might be my last show or there may be one more. Either way I want to go out or build up with a bang and so I hope to see you on September 7 and maybe in the pub the night before as well.

Best wishes

Tom Winnifrith.
