It is one of those chores that is a bit fiddly so I put it off again and again.
But last night I finally did it as you can see below. On a few bulbs of the garlic I grew, I broke the stalks so they sit in a bowl. But the remaining dozen have now been threaded onto two strings and are in a larder, known as Joshua’s attic, containing ever more of the harvest.
Time moves on. This was a spring crop. In a couple of weeks I will be planting the main garlic crop.
