The Church of England rewrites history over slavery and bungs £100 million to its "victims"

Nobody seems to care about history being accurate any more. As long as it fits the narrative that English folks were universally bad and that vast amounts of money must be paid to the imagined victims of slavery.  The Church of England buys into this piffle and has produced a big report into its slaving links with especial reference to the South Sea Company and has found £100 million down the back of the sofa to compensate communities that might have suffered. Where to start?

The BBC rewrites history regarding Sir Francis Drake

Some crackpot school in London has renamed itself as it does not wish to be linked to Sir Francis Drake because he was an evil slave trader. Except that he was not. The BBC is keen to whip up more fake history and has joined in the battle as you can see below.

The 30 most read articles of 2022 on TomWinnifrith.com

For what it is worth these are the 30 most read articles on this website during 2022. And there are some bloody good pieces here using the sort of hard data that the mainstream media ignores as it carries on spouting GroupThink gibberish. Enjoy.

Another week of rain here in Wales and in the North West of England for the global warming nutters to ignore: new reservoir data in

I am sorry if this sounds a bit obsessive but I like dealing in facts, that is to say what has happened, hard data.  Those in the Global Warming GroupThink, the followers of the Doom Goblin Greta Thunberg and employees of the BBC engage in wild speculation. And so I return to my specialist subject of reservoir levels here in Wales.

So Headmaster: did you really listen to Alex Renton? Lessons for Warwick School

I flagged up my latest piece on historic physical and sexual abuse at Warwick School to the current headmaster yesterday.  He promised that he would listen to the excellent Alex Renton programme on Radio 4 last night. I listened with a glass of brandy in my hand thinking how much this reminded me of Warwick and almost in tears. It was very saddening but illuminating.

The absolutely brilliant new Dominic Frisby video - Show me the way to Ancapistan!

Dominic Frisby is a headline speaker but will also be performing a musical set at this year’s ShareStock on September 23. as a hint of what you don’t want to be missing, for all of you libertarians tired of watching the UK head down the pan, here’s Dominic’s new video, his best for a good while, in my view. Enjoy. Show Me the Way to Ancapistan!

Photo article from the two hovels - the olives are cured

My fellow harvester T had some doubts as to my method of curing olives but ye of little faith.

Warwick School, protector of abusive teachers please listen to Alex Renton on Radio 4 tonight

It is not often hat I urge anyone to listen to the BBC. But at 8 PM tonight the excellent Alex Renton has a new programme on historic sexual abuse at the UK’s public schools. I urge the staff, Governors and Headmaster of my old school Warwick to listen to Radio 4 very carefullty. For the issue at hand is how schools covered up and protected abusers and Warwick is guilty of that to an extraordinary degree.

Tom Winnifrith Photo podcast: Lake Vyrnwy and the GroupThink myth of global warming here in Wales

In August 2022 Lake Vyrnwy, about an hour from where I live in Wales, was the posterboy of the Global warming GroupThink cult as I recalled here. I took my kids to the lake today and combine those photos taken with hard data from United Utilities to show how the GroupThink are just so wrong. Not that the BBC or anyone in the Mainstream Media will report it.

Lies, damned lies and census statistics from the heroic Peter Tatchell

For his work campaigning for LGB rights when nobody else was and for his heroic support of free speech, Peter Tatchell is a great hero of our time. But when it comes to Maths he really should go to one of Rishi Sunak’s planned brush up classes.

Oh no covid’s back and that means barking mad Commie Susan Michie is back on the BBC talking unchallenged bollocks about masks

Already one health trust in England has banned hospital visits and force folks to wear face nappies “to save the NHS”. To save it from what? Covid of course. This is a new super strain of the Omicron variant, you remember the one that spread rapidly and killed virtually nobody. It is time for all the “experts” to be wheeled out, backing claims from public sector workers like the nurses and teachers as to why we should give them less work to do for more pay and to  trainwreck the economy as we do so.

Jeremy Bowen – what a POS: the BBC, Israel and a partial stance

When Palestinans elect Hamas to lead them, when they vote for an organisation committed to driving the Jews out of Israel, the BBC reports that Hamas has won an election. When Israel elects a right wing coalition led by Bibi Netanyahu which is committed to a two state solution, the mainstream media reports that the frigging Jews have elected a ultra-right wing coalition which threatens to set the region in flames.  That was the tone of the discussion on the “impartial” Radio 4 flagship Today Programme today, centred on an interview with Jeremy Bowen. Who is he?

Photo article from the Welsh Hovel - the flood waters rise but my earthworks from 2022 hold firm

Listeners to my bearcasts on Shareprophets know that I am set to plague the press office of United Utilities with obscure enquiries about reservoir levels here in North Wales. Here in the Dee valley the waters are rising as they always do at this time of year and always have done with or without the global warming spoof.  The apple orchard in photo one is now underwater but I plugged holes in the small levee last year and so the waters are yet to get to the base of the new elevated lawn and Ha Ha I built. And that structure is holding back the waters in the fields, now all underwater, so protecting the barns. So far so good and according to plan.

Photo article, Day 7 the end of the Greek Hovel Olive harvest 2022

Heroic harvester T and I knew we had a deadline to meet. At 4 PM mad lefty L and villager George would be arriving to tie up our bags Albanian style and to take the harvest in George’s 4×4 down to the press. So we started early, 7 am, putting our Englishman’s sacks and the even smaller English Gentleman’s sacks through the grill, pictured below, removing more leaves and decanting into a new small sack which we poured into the most full of our sacks. We created Albanian sacks, ones containing almost 50kg, full to the brim

All praise, not the NHS, but my fellow entrepreneurs this Christmas

From King Charles downwards everyone always lines up at Christmas to praise the valiant NHS workers (greedy bastards), and other public sector workers who keep the country running at this time of year. Well up to a point.
