I start by mentioning tomorrow’s activities. many, many thanks to the 300+ folks who have donated. If I have not reminded you enough and you have forgotten to sponsor the rogue bloggers for Woodlarks there is still time HERE. Then I mention a knobhead called Robbie. Then it is onto Odey share overhangs, mentioning Shanta (SHG) en passant, IOG (IOG), Wray and Alliance Pharma (APH) in days gone by, Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) and finally two minnows on the brink of going under, I suspect: Deepverge (DVRG) and Microsaic (MSYS).

I start with a few words on Jubilee Metals (JLP) and Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV). Then some Trustpilot detective work on AQRU (AQRU) which, I predict, will go bust in 2023. I move on to Xtract Resources (XTR), Shearwater (SWG), Alliance Pharma (APH) and then to the impending demise of Applied Graphene Materials (AGM). Gotcha! I also cover Argo Blockchain (ARB) which I still have down as a 2022 bust, maybe as soon as this week

This is, of course, a big fave of Nigel Wray and he has done exceptionally well from Alliance Pharma (APH). It has also been a good share tip (twice) from myself and young Steve on the Nifty Fifty. The main man is John Dawson and he can explain the story going forward.

Alliance Pharma (APH) has made an AGM update announcement, including that trading “is good and in line with the board's expectations” and that “cash flow in the business remains strong”. This is a healthy reaffirmation of our BUY tip of last month which is now well in the money.

Specialty pharmaceutical company, Alliance Pharma (APH) is a previous successful share tip for us - recommended at 31p, with gains banked at 43p in 2015. However, there has since been positive development which looks inadequately reflected in a current sub 50p offer price and, noting also the continued presence of famed investors Nigel Wray and Slater Investments as major shareholders…

Alliance Pharma (APH) has, relatively, recently completed a transformational acquisition. I know that Nigel Wray remains a big fan as does Mark Slater. Sensible value investors should thus find the presentation by John Dawson of interest

Oh no Paul Scott is giving me health advice again. If he promises never ever to waterboard me again with online retail gross margins I might just quit smoking. Away from that I look at car crash Slater & Gordon (SGH) following up from the earlier detailed piece HERE. In a similar vein I look at NAHL (NAH). Then it is onto EKF Diagnostics (EKF), Moneyswap (SWAP), Oilex (OEX), Forte Energy (FTE), Alliance Pharma (APH), Iofina (IOF) and the Fitbug (FITB) dog. There is no mention of Jabba The Hutt today, David Lenigas must wait for Gold & Bears on Saturday for his next drubbing. And boy will it be a drubbing.

Alliance Pharma (APH) is a stock that Britain’s Buffett had held for ten years and it is also a great sleep-sound core portfolio buy for me. Its CEO John Dawson is a good man and I like the company. Anyhow he, and the CEOs of Rex Bionics, Accesso and Akers Biosciences, of which I know sweet FA are presenting in London at the Proactive forum this Thursday 23rd). There’s free food & booze on offer as well. And

This was in many ways my favourite part of UKInvestor Show 2013. Together with two good friends we chatted 100% without rehearsal on UK residential and commercial property, the death of the High street, the UK economy, Alliance Pharma, Domino's Pizza, share prices, Margaret Thatcher and much more. Leslau and Wray are always inspirational for me. And I had a ball.

I think sound and vision nailed once again. I am finally getting the hang of this. I am meant to be celebrating St Patrick’s Day with some Irish-for-a-day folk which means just mindless drinking. Since they were not Irish yesterday they will not understand why there is nothing to celebrate today. And so I may dodge that for some more writing. Pro tem here is the video postcard for this week
