It is my last full day in Greece. I reflect on the holiday and on the olive harvest to come in December at the Greek Hovel and then my full and final thoughts on Big Sofa (BST).
Throughout the year Big Sofa (BST) has been telling us that everything was going well with new hires and client wins. Well that was a fecking lie as the circular issued the other day but not received by this shareholder shows. Do I want to put up more cash or be 90% diluted? You know what? I will take the hit and I now write this off mentally as a zero. I apologise to all who have lost money on this one. If its any consolation my personal hit is in excess of £40,000. I now value this as a zero and indeed rather look forward to Big Sofa spunking this placing and going bust.

The relatively new CEO at, now delisted, Big Sofa (BST) has updated we long suffering shareholders. Well some of them. Like most of the company’s owners I was not sent the newsletter below but someone who was has passed it on. It seems that the last CEO, that bird Kirsty, was all talk just like her predecessor. But Sam Curtis sounds like he is making some progress. Those closer to the action than I am, still talk of a trade sale in 2023 or sooner but I shall believe it when I see it. Sam’s views are below.

I start with the Earl of Shrewsbury (not Shaftsbury a podcast mis-speak) who should be kicked out of the House of Lords after my latest cash for questions expose HERE. Of course he won’t be. Airstrip One is a rotten and corrupt place these days where folks like him are above the law. Then I look at Cineworld (CINE), Big Sofa (BST), MyHealthchecked (MHC) and Horizonte Minerals (HZM) before looking at the peripheral issues raised by IQE’s (IQE) disastrous news and also at what is the real valuation, from someone who has called it 100% correctly.

There we were, just the other day, being told that Kirsty Fuller was not only the saviour of Big Sofa (BST) but would lead it to new glories and a trade sale next year. Er…no.

My video with Optibiotix (OPTI_) boss Steve is with Darren and the show should go live tomorrow. But I pick up on one point and that is the behaviour of IIs vs PIs. Then with that also in mind I look at Savannah Resources (SAV), comment on Big Sofa (BST) and then on the fun and games at Versarien (VRS) which could well bring my 0p target a lot sooner than I had thought. We have now raised more than £15,000 ( with gift aid) as the rogue bloggers for Woodlarks. Thank you to Jocelyn and Vin for two big donations today, can you please also be generous and donate HERE

Overall, I suppose, things are going the right way for now delisted Big Sofa (BST) but just a bit more slowly than we might have hpoed. Will we loyal shareholders get a takeover within 18 months? I still hope so. But I am not going to count any chickens just yet. Anyhow as I can’t sell my shares I have no choice but to wait. Here is the April update from CEO Kirsty Fuller.
1415 days ago
I am asked for where we are with Big Sofa (BST). As you may know, it delisted last April saying PLC costs were not worth it. It then raised £1 million at 3p a share in October so how is it doing? I hope that it is making its way towards profitability and a trade sale. Just as I hope that Cheryl Cole has something special for me for my birthday next week. But in both cases I think it is sensible to plan for the the outcome not being entirely as one might have wished. Anyhow Big Sofa has sent a missive to some of its shareholders, some folks being more equal than others. So for those of you plebs who did not receive an update on trading, here it is.

I have spent most of the day recording videos for MineProphets and should warn you that Zak Mir has served up a double kiss of death. Anyway the content is – forgive my conceit – excellent so please book your seat now HERE. In the podcast I discuss scumbags at Blue Rock Diamonds (BRD), Great Western Mining (GWMO) and its scumbag broker Novum, Kefi Minerals (KEFI) where I was wrong about something and Big Sofa (BST).

Thanks to all of you who have written to your MP about the soft and, we think, illegal soft taxpayer loan to Versarien (VRS). I have an update on where at least one MP has taken it but urge you all to drop an email now using the template HERE. I also comment on my own mortality, prompted by the MCC, Big Sofa (BST), Victoria Oil & Gas (VOG), Iconic (ICON), Greatland Gold (GGP) and urge you to book your seat for July 18 and MineProphets HERE

I am absolutely exhausted. Recording videos is pretty draining. You have to remember not to pick your nose and to be alert at all times and right now I am recording four or five a day plus bearcast. That is all for the ShareProphets Shares Conference where, I promise, you will be dazzled by the content so BOOK YOUR TICKET NOW HERE!!! In today’s podcast I discuss Big Sofa (BST), Shell (RDSB), ValiRx (VAL), Catenae (CTEA) and James “Dracula” Parsons, Cheryl Cole and Ascent Resources (AST). Suffice to say only one of that trio excites me in any way.

There are three scenarios here of which one is that Big Sofa (BST) goes bust and we shareholders lose everything. If that happens I will apologise again for a bad tip as I apologise now for what has happened. I am sorry. If it is any consolation, if this goes to zero I am kissing goodbye to £37,000. But that is not a given…

Two house keeping matters. First please send Darren pictures of the view from your window & your work space during the lockdown to provide a daily distraction. Darren has kicked off the series with a snowy scene from his Canadian bolt-hole HERE. Second please do offer nominations for the rogue AIM & Standard List directors. If you are afraid of libel just nominate a name & company and Nigel and I will do the rest in a song & dance presentation on May 8. Details and nominations are HERE. In today’s Bearcast I look at the demise or otherwise of Carluccio’s, Virgin Airlines and Big Sofa (BST) and perhaps of the AIM casino itself.

It is a happy game which I have discussed with a couple of listeners. Anyhow, it just shows how data can be interpreted in so many ways. I am, you may be pleased, or maybe distressed, to hear taking steps tpo improve my chances. I then discuss the market crash and how it affects different classes of shares – the issue for us all is not whether our investments are cheap but will the equity in them survive? If the answer is YES then I suspect they are now cheap. If NO well then they are still expensive. I discuss Optibiotix (OPTI), Bidstack (BIDS), Versarien (VRS), Big Sofa (BST), Big Dish (DISH), Restaurant Group (RTN), Ascent Resources (AST), City Centre Pubs (CTC) and also why gold and gold shares are not soaring. Fear not, Malcolm Burne has the experience and the answer. They will.

I fear that many readers will be too young and will not remember the Streets of San Francisco with Michael Douglas and Karl Malden. Please look it up on google, it was fabulous. But my reference is not to an era when cops could beat a confession out of a suspect rather than spend their working lives undergoing diversity training, but to one of my tips of the year, Big Sofa (BST).

My guest in this week’s show which is sponsored by Open Orphan PLC (ORPH) is a former editor of this website Flip Flop Ben Turney. We discuss the problems with AIM, New World Oil & Gas, Nostra Terra (NTOG), touching on the mud being slung at Ben by some folks but on the real issues that company faces, on Touchstone Exploration, Big Sofa (BST) and many other matters, notably AIM PLC director expenses. I also discuss companies who switch Nomads too often. Yes that includes Versarien (VRS) and its forced change of today. If you like this podcast and can’t wait seven days for more of the same and are tired of being a cheapskate you should listen to my Bearcast every day.

In today’s podcast I look at Crest Nicholson (CRST), pox on AIM St James House (SJH), Cyancannode (CYAN), Yourgene (YGEN) and shocking share options, Big Sofa (BST) Goals Soccer Centres and Carpetright (CPR). Blame Brokerman Dan for this podcast being late and for me being a dirty and smelly wreck as I explain in the show.

There are two guests in this week’s show, First up I discuss recent events at Bahamas Petroleum (BPC). then I discuss sexism in the City and Big Sofa (BST) with its boss Kirsty Fuller. Then it is on to Adam Reynolds where we cover Sosandar (SOS), Optibiotix (OPTI), Big Sofa (BST), Yourgene (YGEN) and Concepta (CPT). It is during this segment that the cat and the rat feature. If you like this and can’t wait seven days for more of the same you should listen to my Bearcast every day.

Okay, another placing from Big Sofa (BST). Cynics and bears can laugh at we shareholders but they will not be having the last laugh. At 3.8-4.2p the stance, at up to 4.5p is STRONG BUY with a target to sell of 6p+ achievable within weeks.

Okay I too mention how my beloved West Ham disgraced themselves last night. I was there. It was awful. A long drive home. This morning I tried doing business with St James Place (SJP). What a nightm are! is there an honest IFA who can help me with a simple problem? I then look at Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT), Big Sofa (BST), Eve Group (EVE), Xaar (XAR) and what the shock news from Shore Capital (SGR) says about the state of the AIM Casino.

We tipped Big Sofa (BST) just a few weeks ago at a 4p offer. The shares, of which we own a good few, are now 4.5p-5.25p following an upbeat trading statement. But hang on tight as there is far more to come.

Sorry for the late bearcast, I enjoyed a long chat with Reuters (see Roger Lawson not all the deadwood press hates me!) on when Neil Woodford’s Income Focus Fund will be gated. It is a when not an if and I discuss what is going on under the surface. Then it is on to Pendragon (PDG) and BCA MarketPlace (BCA) which is more of a BIG SHORT - than ever. I look at Big Sofa (BST), Amphion (AMP) which looks like a zero and finally, in some detail, UK Oil & Gas (UKOG). Now back to the rising water levels at the Welsh Hovel.

In this podcast I look at the growing mini bond scandal as I flag up another ponzi waiting to collapse today HERE. Then I do a review of my own bull portfolio: Optibiotix (OPTI), Yourgene (YGEN), Concepta (CPT), Big Sofa (BST), Wishbone (WSBN), Kefi (KEFI), Reach4Entertainment (R4E), Falanx (FLX), Fox Marble (FOX), Berekely Energia (BKY) and Argo Blockchain (ARB). I did not mention Fox in the podcast so I'll do a seperate update later. Finally: why have you not joined the roll call of heros HERE? I say a few extra fucktards on that count.
2062 days ago
There is a real spring in my step as I consider a new business idea and as the scoops just flow in. I start with Argo Blockchain (ARB), the pot plan and the convicted heroin dealer. Then I out Big Sofa's (BST) new customer. I look at Cabot Energy (CAB) as it dissembles again. I pick a fight with the man Gary Newman thinks is a genius, Andrew Monk, over RedT Energy (RED) and then look at the shock placing byu Independent Oil & Gas (IOG) and where that leaves Rock Rose (RRE). If you enjoyed this bearcast please follow uber generous Rob and make a small donation to Rogue Bloggers for Wodlarks HERE

In today's bearcast I speculate how Neil Woodford's flagship dog, his Equity Income Fund, appears to have lost £90 million since the weekend. I look at RM2 (RM2) - largest shareholder Mr Woodford - where a statement is needed as insolvency beckons, at Motof Bio (MTFB) and at Big Sofa (BST). I also discuss Dan Levi's bum and the problems generated by his latest 20 mile training walk for Woodlarks. If you'd rather I desisted from any further discussions of this nature make a donation to the Rogue Bloggers walk for Woodlarks NOW HERE

In today's bearcast I discuss I3 Energy (I3E), Redde (REDD) and hapless Neil Woodford, Concepta (CPT), Optibiotix (OPTI), Yourgene (YGEN), Big Sofa (BST), Mirriad (MIRI) and Mothercare (MTC). If you enjoyed this, less than PC, bearcast, follow Jim Mellon and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

I merely commend to you the tweet of the activist Titania McGrath and also commend to you her book "Woke" which out yesterday. If you enjoyed this bearcast, follow Jim Mellon and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Cynical Bear is yet to comment ”told y’all” but being a drearily predictable fellow, it cannot be long now. Big Sofa (BST) has had another placing. But this one is different. I was made an insider on Wednesday and opted to take part and expect my 4p investment to double in pretty short order and to be well ahead of that by Christmas.

I consider what Rob Terry is doing now as I contemplate the latest threat to Watchstone Group (WTG), Quindell (QPP) as was. I look back on a few other fraud busting successes but view them as fairly irrelevant. I am more proud of my work for Woodlarks and, in that vein, again urge you to sponsor Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE. I consider DeepMatter (DMTR), Audioboom (BOOM), Centamin (CEY), Yourgene (YGEN), Big Sofa (BST), I3 Energy (I3E) and Kavango (KAV)

I own these shares and it was a tip of the year ( which is up). I update on that tip in light of the share option news of yesterday evening but also comment on Big Sofa's (BST) award and rebasing of options, one aspect of which is totally unacceptable and repellant.

With the Sith Lord Zak Mirinterviewing him, Adam Reynolds had nothing to fear. But there were questions from the audience that were far more daunting and interesting than those posed by Britain's worst chartist. If you are, like me, a holder of Optibiotix (OPTI), Yourgene (TGEN) - my Q1 nap pick - Big Sofa (BST) - my tip of the year - or Conc epta (CPT) you will want to watch this. I have never been more bullish on the quartet. This will be our year and I know Adam feels the same. The next City forum hosted by the Sith Lord is February 25. Put the date in your diary now.

I start with a few thoughts on this, the birthday, of Martin Luther King. Then onto the two disasters for the £37 million smug bastard, Neil "nomates" Woodford: Netscientific (NSCI) and Provident Financial (PFG). I look at Big Sofa (BST) and Yourgene (YGEN) , my nap for Q1, then onto Victoria Carpets (VCP) and finally a detailed laook at the fraud that is Eden Research (EDEN).

Nope Cheryl Cole is not mentioned. But plenty of other old faves including Quindell (QPP), Globo (GBO), MySquar (MYSQ), Julie "Lingerie on Expenses" Meyer, Big Sofa (BST), Wishbone (WSBN) and Neil Woodford are. There are six resolutions. The first concerns fitness and the walk for Woodlarks where I urge you to donate HERE

I had far too much to drink last night. But it really was not my fault. Thus as I travel across Greece today and back to Bristol I feel a bit worse for wear. In this podcast I comment on Hollywood Bowl (BOWL) in light of yesterday's corrupt journalism bearcast. I look at Andalas (ADL) forced to make a belated statement by this website's expose on Saturday HERE. I cover Big Sofa (BST) and LB Shell (LBP) another AIM Casino dog whose sole purpose was to support the lifestyles of crony capitalists.

I refer not to the AIM Listed company Big Sofa run by the incompetent wanker Simon Liddington but to a real four metre long Big Sofa which has arrived at the Greek Hovel. God only knows how the big trucks make it up here but they do and this is our first real bit of furniture - a landmark and a great way to enjoy the views from the living area out towards the deserted convent on the other side of the valley.

Tom Winnifrith writes: Firstly an apology from us. Big Sofa (BST) has been a very poor tip - as big investors in the IPO we share your pain and - justifiable - anger. We apologise for believing numerous things said by CEO Simon Liddington. I have just emailed him and called him, to his face rather than behind his back, a “corporate wanker” for reasons I shall explain below. He should resign at once allowing newly appointed CCO Kirsty Fuller to take charge. Liddington is not fit for purpose and I am sorely tempted to go to the forthcoming EGM and tell him that, once again, to his face and demand he goes.

I have told this to Simon Liddington to his face but my comments merit a wider audience. I apologise for a dire share tip. I have lost £40,000 myself on Big Sofa (BST) and I must take blame for my own decisions. But I also have words for Arden Partners but the buck stops with the pathetic failure Liddington who MUST GO NOW! I also comment on Avanti Communications (AVN), Ryanair (RYA) and on Rosslyn Data Technologies (RDT) and Avocet (AVM)

It is a day off from training, after yesterday's ten mile walk. My 75 year old coach, Brian Basham, says I must rest my muscles. I restart again tomorrow but how about you donate a tenner to a great cause and sponsor me HERE? Meanwhile i discuss Cynical Bear's latest piece written in ignorance on Big Sofa (BST). He might be right and I may be wrong. So far he has called it right. But what we do know is that he is guessing and writing in ignorance, I'd rather not do that. Then I look at fund managers making pathetic excuses for their own failure over Persimmon (PSN). Finally after today's shocking Lombard (LRM) expose HERE I ask will the authorities finally hold individuals to account to show they really want to stamp out fraud.

At the UK Investor Show there were six Dragon's Den sessions. As a result of each £3,000 of my real money was invested after each dragon picked one of the 5 companies doing an elevator pitch. In session five the Dragons were me (Tom Winnifrith), Brian Kinane of Riverfort, a jovial Irishman who takes teasing well, and Steve Moore. The companies pitching were: Big Sofa, Symphony Environmental, Stranger Holdings and Papua Mining

I leave Kalamata shortly but when I get to Athens will there be a flight to take me home to Bristol or will I be dossing down at the Sofitel until the next flight on Monday? As I ponder that matter I consider the great news for we shareholders from Big Sofa (BST) and the real import of today's shocking news that Beaufort Securities has gone tits up. Postscript from Kalamata bus station: Bristol flights have been cancelled. With frightening efficiency I have transferred to a Gatwick flight. I am now working out how to get from Gatwick to Bristol in the middle of the night.

In today's bearcast I ponder why on days like this I bother. I look at Big Sofa (BST) shares in which, I am delighted to say, we own. I look at Versarien (VRS) owning morons at former Rob Terry fave Imaginatik (IMTK), for strategic review read we are fecked, at SIG (SHI) and at Image Scan (DOG). PS Ben Turner calls me to say we did not fire him. As I said Alzheimers. I am happy to stand corrected.

Under discussion: Mark Slater, Neil Woodford, Optibiotix (OPTI), Reach4Entertainment (R4E), Falanx (FLX), Concepta (CPT), Big Sofa (BST), Premaitha (NIPT). When this share tip appeared on FivefreeShareTips yesterday the shares were 20.125p to buyur readers got the best deal. Do not miss out on our next tips emailed direct to you: register now HERE. But at 22.5p to buy Big Sofa (BST) still is stunningly cheap. Here is why...
Okay three disclosures first. One: we own a shed load of these shares. Second they have not exactly flown since the IPO via a reversal at 17p. And third there has been a bit of slippage in hitting targets ( four or five months) and a £1.4 million placing at 18.5p was not exactly what the share price doctor ordered. However this stock is going to fly. My target is for it to almost treble, well before Christmas 2018.
