Ryan Gaffney has had enough and, following the chairman and CEO, has quit as the CFO of Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) with immediate effect. And why not? When a ship is sinking why wouldn’t you jump. The board says that it will be “ considering a process to identify qualified candidates to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company amidst ongoing restructuring discussions.“ Put another way it won’t be doing anything as they know this is a zero.

It’s one in one out at a NED level but nothing much to read there: nobody hangs around long at the sinking ship that is Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). The bigger news is that we have a new CEO although only an interim one, natch.

The $2.5million placing at 0.15p by Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) has now gone ahead. Death spiral provider Anavio is not investing it is merely putting up some cash to allow it to forward sell and convert as much of its outstanding convertible loan notes as possible before Canadian goes bust. Lucian Miers says, do the maths….

In today’s bearcast I discuss Optibiotix (OPTI), Bushveld Minerals (BMN), Diversified Energy (DEC), Audioboom (BOOM) impoverishing poor Gary Newman as is Jadestone Energy (JSE), Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and Chill Brands (CHLL) and the looming placing.

A few weeks ago I went out for a few drinks with a couple of pals including “Chemtrails Dave” who has one or two odd views. I am prepared to accept that Michelle Obama is a man and that the Clinton crime family have all of their critics and whistleblowers suicided but after a couple of pints we got on to the 1969 moon landings and Chemtrails said “anyone who thinks they actually happened is mad.” But they did happen didn’t they? Said I. At which point he laughed. When I got home I asked “but the did happen didn’t they?” And I was reassured. Of course they did. And that brings us to Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) shares in which were up by 50% at one point this morning.

For all the bluster I am more and more convinced that the Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) Shareholder Action Group (SAG) are just a bunch of crybaby losers who cannot accept that they ignored numerous warnings from myself and others ( abusing me on social media for being wrong) about how bad the assets and management of Canadian were and how it would end in tears. The letter it has sent to the FCA is to a generic address. That is a sign that these losers are just scrabbling around. The failure of the SAG to understand how a death spiral works and what a breach of covenant means is another sign of how utterly clueless they are. Anyhow, thanks to Winnileaks, I have three emails sent in the past 14 days. 1 to the FCA, 2 to advisors and a third to the company. Enjoy.

Shame there was no RNS on Friday. But the SEDAR filing below spells out the slow and the quick death of Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). Despite the proposed bailout at just 0.15p, it is a slam dunk zero and anyone holding is just mad. As for the motherfuckers at Yellow Jersey who misled investors and smeared me when I first exposed this crock at 2p just 20 months ago, they really should go fuck themselves. I await their apology but am not holding my breath as Dominic Barretto and his team and morally bankrupt pustules on the arse of AIM.

And to think that Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) founder Arthur Millholland said that I was a “snake oil salesman” and did not understand accounts. As the Fat Lady now books a ticket to gig with Arthur in the socialist hell hole of Canada, the shares have collapsed again, to just 0.4p. I pointed out earlier how PR spinners for Canadian Overseas (COPL) banked vast fees, nefarious gains, for crafting defamatory releases smearing me to defend their client. On 6th April 2022 shares in Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) were more than 20p and I had recently opened my assault arguing that, at 25p the shares were a compelling short. Today, after the latest disaster analysed HERE, they are just over 1p. But back then the man who created this investment disaster Arthur Millholland issued an RNS with a direct smear on me (suggesting I was short and did not understand accounts) and an implicit attack on ShareProphets. Morally bankrupt PR firm Yellow Jersey crafted this poison.

You can bet the ranch that the $4 million that Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) recently raised from its death spiral prover Anavio has all gone: either to escrow accounts with its senior debt provider or to clear unpaid bills or both. the fact that it has admitted that it will be paying other suppliers in shares in the coming weeks shows that it is running on vapours. And another sign is in the screenshots below. If you try to download documents from its website you see that you cannot because Canadian has not paid its Russian hosts. More red flags vicar?

Yesterday’s Q2 RNS from Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) , as usual, was abridged and missed out all sorts of nasties. Given that it is drowning in debt that will be hard. The warning, in its SEDAR filing, states:

Clearly, holders of the remaining $25.8 million of outstanding death spiral bonds are desperate to get out at any price to reduce their exposure to Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL),a company teetering on the bring of insolvency. I question the net wealth claimed by two former Dragons in the Mail on Sunday. Linney’s claim is a joke following the demise of Outsourcery (OUT) as is that of Sarah Willingham of Nightcap (NGHT) which I look at after its latest crap acquisition and lack of profits warning. Then it is onto Wandisco (WAND) and the proposed bailout at just 50p, to Eurasia (EUA) where nothing at all adds up. Then onto today’s ouzo moment, the suspension of Eight Capital Partners (ECP), the insolvent fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and Canadian Overseas (COPL) whose shareholders’ reactions to my latest piece show themselves to be as unpleasant as they are stupid. Normally the market reacts positively to news that a company is firing staff and cutting back on costs. But sometimes folks see that this is a smokescreen, it is like chucking a few deckchairs overboard on a stricken liner. It makes no odds in the bigger picture and it can create new risks. That brings me to Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) a share that is heading to zero.

Yesterday I flagged up that shares in Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) had slumped from 25p when I first warned to sub 4p, “into the threes”. Today they are slumping again and are just 3.25p to sell. How soon the “terrible 2s”. As it happens I was chatting to an expert in death spiral financing and he explained why the death spiral at Canadian was and still is a suicide trap for all concerned.
I mentioned this in yesterday’s bearcast but when a company’s market cap and the liquidity in its shares slumps, a company facing a death spiral can find itself in an increasingly vicious circle impoverishing its poor shareholders. When, to much abuse, I first explained last year what a complete dog was Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) its shares were 25p. The shares are now just 3.75p to sell.

Though it was not included in the RNS, when Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) released its last quarterlies there was an explicit warning that if it did not raise fresh funds it would go bust. As such today’s operational update avoids the elephant in the room: there is no mention of income, losses, cashburn etc. What really matters.

Can you list them in terms of long term career value destruction? I start with Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) and some of the daft comments made. The to More Acquisitions (TMOR) and Doc Holliday’s cunning EGM plan which will surely destroy the company and lose it its quote. Then Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), Red Rock Resources (RRR), Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and Tern (TERN) which looks to me to be almost bust and where I look forward to reporting its auditors to the FRC when the Fat Lady appears on stage. I should add what I forgot to say in the podcast: Tingo (US:TIO) is the most obvious zero from the province of Norfolk that I have see for ages. And it is shortable.

I start with my latest run in with my neighbour, the IRA man. Then it is onto Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). I discuss it deceiving investors, how the shares are a 100% slam dunk sell and also a shocking article about it ( see below) on Proactive not, as I said, by my pal Ian Lyall but by another pal Jon Hopkins. Hoppo should be ashamed. Then I look at Anglesey Mining (AYM), Zephyr Energy (ZPHR ) – hard cheese Cliff – Powerhouse Energy (PHE), Boohoo (BOO), where there is no ouzo for Ouzo man, and nanosynth (NNN) which has gone bust so meaning a vindication ouzo for me tonight and more shame on penny share grifter, brown envelope man, Zak Mir.

Today’s results announcement is a disgrace, omitting a clear and explicit warning that Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) may go bust. I shall flag this up to the FCA which, no sniggering at the back, regulates the Standard List. I doubt it will act but you never know. Meanwhile there is another non-disclosure which should alarm investors.

Natch Canadian (COPL) does not publish the full document but just its self-selected highlights omitting the really bad stuff. It says the full report is available on its website. That’s a lie, it is not. But you can find it at SEDAR and there you see what it is hiding.

Another day dawns and yet again Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) has issued yet more shares. This is a death spiral on steroids but of you do the maths you must be a nonce. I am kidding. But at least some of the morons who own the stock are not. Let me explain.
It is only seven days since the last time that $400,000 of death spiral bonds were converted into shares after a good bout of forward selling. But Arthur Millholland of Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) is king of the shareholder dilute so here we go again. At this rate we might get a similar announcement once a week for 83 weeks before we are done. What do you reckon the share price will be by then?
Another day and another 50,998,285 shares in Arthur Millholland’s doomed Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) have been issued to soon join the rest of the worthless confetti trading on the sub Standard List. Now for a maths lessons for the morons.

Arthur Millholland and his colleagues at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) treat the morons who own shares in the company with undisguised contempt, hiding from them some very bad news indeed. The old shyster, Charles Goodwin at Yellow Jersey PR and in house PR Cathy Hume should be ashamed of today’s effort it is a disgrace. Even by their own lowly standards. The headline is “COPL 2022 Financials Results and Operations Update.”

Doesn’t the FCA have rules that cover this? If not it should but I suspect it does and if its staff can take a few minutes out from reading ESG porn they should force Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) to ‘fess up to how it is, again, deceiving investors regarding today’s additional financing.
Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) continues to breach the banking covenants on its $42 million of senior debt. But what is the bank meant to do? Call in the debt and try to flog Canadian’s shite assets in a market meltdown to try to get its cash back? Really?
The real risks are that Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) either cannot secure additional; finance within the next five weeks and so goes bust or that the owners of $42 million of senior debt get cold feet, call in their loans and the company goes bust. That would shaft 100% anyone daft enough to own the shares but also the providers off all the convertible loan notes, death spiral providers.

The bear case as outlined here is already compelling. But the table below from the Wyoming Oil & Gas Commission serves up data on Canadian Overseas Petroleum’s (COPL) January output and that suggests an alarming decline which cannot be explained solely by bad weather.

An RNS is meant to inform, to give clear information allowing we investors to asses exactly what is going on. Of course, Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) thinks that an RNS is just an excuse to muddy the waters even further, hiding the trouble that it is in. Today we have another effort of this genre. It is to do with the issue of death spiral shares.

A two million share trade went through at just 5.5p earlier. Natch the Bulletin Board Morons saw this as great news, arguing that a big stock overhang had gone and that the shares would now rocket. “I cannot remember the last time that I saw such a duplicitous dishonest company, this has to be one of the easiest shorts out there at the moment!” says Evil Banksta of Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). He is not alone, Lucian Miers has also called in from the grim North today, outraged as to how the FCA allows Canadian to publish the sort of misleading piffle it has today.

Both Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and Argo Blockchain (ARB) have featured here as shorts. Let’s start with the undoubted success.

I start with news on ShareStock – we have now completed the speaker line-up and 50% of the seats for September 23 are now reserved – for details and to book your seat go HERE. Then it is Canadian Overseas (COPL), Nanoco (NANO), BSF Enterprises (BSFA) where its placing ahoy and a joke valuation, and then Caracal Gold (GCAT). Finally, I shall be wearing an Ireland shirt in a pub full of Welshmen tomorrow, make sure you all sing Delilah wherever you are.

On 8 April 2022 I reported Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and its CEO Arthur Millholland to the FCA, branding the CEO a “snake oil salesman” as you can see HERE. His response issued via RNS on 14 April was a direct attack on me and on this website. He branded his critics as “snake oil salesmen” and false “prophets”. He was talking about me. He said critics did not understand accounts and were in it for my their “nefarious” gain. I suggest, never having had a position long or short in Canadian, just being a journalist who trained as an oil analyst I am today vindicated as the company warned it could go bust and its shares collapsed. Millholland’s statement is below. It has not aged well.

Today Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) warned that it could easily go bust. It must have known that nine days ago, it is just only now that a prospectus is ready that it has had to ‘fess. Yet just nine days ago, knowing what was coming, disgraced CEO Arthur Millholland was ramping hard with a paid for interview on Proactive as you can see below. Shame on Proactive for failing to ask any tough questions of the old rogue. Call yourself journalists? You are just low life investment street hookers. As for Arthur, words fail me. He is a disgrace and should be forced to resign for ensuring folks lost money in this way.

I start with this, I promise, hypothetical explanation. Then I look at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) – ouzo for yours truly tonight. There was not time to discuss another triumph, Guild ESports (GILD) so you will have to make do with my article earlier HERE but I am working on the next exposé of that crock. Then I look at Darktrace (DARK) and Deepverge (DVRG) which might just be a buy. I discuss ShareStock, now almost half booked out even though it is not for almost nine months. You can get more details, discover our latest new speaker and book HERE

I have warned you all repeatedly that Arthur Millholland is ALWAYS a kiss of death and that his latest venture, Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) had piss poor assets and finances built on sand. As ever, savants such as our own PL cited bullish broker notes and other tosh saying that, as someone who started out as an oil analyst, I just did not understand what a great trade this was. Kerboom, a shock admission at 2.24 PM today means its ouzo for the Sheriff tonight and tears before bedtime for the bulls. The shares are now 8.5p, 45% down on the day, and even more down on the last placing at 20p, nine months ago. Kerboom!

I do not wish to be obsessive but yet again we find that companies on the Standard List, which is regulated by the FCA ( no sniggering at the back), as opposed to the AIM Sewer, are issuing abridged results which, as a result of highly material omission, actively deceive investors. Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) is a pioneer of such deception but David Beckham’s Guild Esports (GILD) has today taken this to a new level. I have written to the FCA

I dropped my two year old off at school for the first time today. I am sure every parent knows that moment well. I move from that onto Nanosynth (NNN), a scandal for all concerned where my warnings have been 100% vindicated today. So its ouzo there but also at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). I look in detail at Eden Research (EDEN) and cover Anglesey Mining (AYM) and Trevor Brown’s POS Braveheart (BRH)

Not for the first time I find myself writing to the FCA as the regulator, no sniggering at the back, of the Standard List. And not for the first time it is about Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) which appears to be in terrible financial trouble and is now, apparently, breaking listing rules. This company’s shares should be suspended at once pending a statement. The letter is below.

Last year ShareProphets highlighted how standard listed Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited (COPL) had defaulted on its main credit agreement but then raised $8 million of fresh equity at 20p a share without revealing the default to prospective investors. Canadian hid the default for four months before it finally published its annual accounts and buried the details of the default in the notes.

Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) talks of its “bonds” as if it is a proper grown up company. Its Bonds” are a death spiral and today we have more evidence of how the (unnamed) provider is coining it in. Lovely jubbly for it.

I start with some nerd like comments about river and reservoir levels in North Wales. Bear with me. This will be interesting I promise. Then Bidstack (BIDS) and what questions today’s shocker begs about the pre-placing interims. Surely the Nomad ( SPARK) and AIM Regulation must investigate. Then Okyo (OKYO) where post podcast recording the company has published interims on its website. Technically it missed the deadline and the FCA – whose conversations with me I discuss – must take this further. As it happens the interims are truly appalling and red flag strewn as I discuss HERE, Then I discuss Lucian’s two big oil shorts: Pantheon Resources (PANR) and Canadian Overseas (COPL). He is right on both IMHO. Finally a few words on Helium One (HE1)

Some things in life never change. There is the beauty, innate sophistication, angelic voice and native intelligence of Ms Cheryl Cole for starters. And then there is the ability of Arthur Millholland to enrich himself while obliterating shareholder value by issuing a blizzard of new shares while spunking other folks cash. Whilst I would like to spend the day considering Ms Cole, instead it is Millholland’s latest gravy train (for him) Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) to which I must attend.

I start with a rant. Then I go onto look at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), why I am less bullish on oil than Gary Newman, Argo Blockchain (ARB), AAA (AAA), Asimilar (ASLR) and Audioboom (BOOM)
The ability of Arthur Millholland to destroy shareholder value while living the life himself is well documented over many, many years at different companies and has already played out as expected at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). What is NOT stated in today’s trading statement suggests things are going to get much worse. What is said is a desperate ramp to help with the ongoing death spiral conversion.

In today’s podcast I cover Bidstack (BIDS) where after today’s disingeneous ‘fess up folks are delusional. Then I look at Parsley Box (MEAL), Vast Resources (VAST), Canadian Overseas (COPL) and Argo Blockchain (ARB

Well knock me down with a feather. Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) the company run by serial value destroyer Arthur Millholland, and its death spiral provider has fooled the morons again. Okay it is not hard to fool folks with the collective IQ of a park bench but to manage it so soon after the last time is good going.

In today’s Bearcast I look at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), Westminster Group (WSG), Audioboom (BOOM) and Victoria (VCP).

I start with a joke the late Steve Holdsworth would have appreciated for I can confirm that reports of his death were, sadly, not exaggerated. Then onto two US oil plays where I see big troubles ahead: Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and Zephyr Energy (ZPHR). Then onto the failings of Aquis in covering up the sins of disgraced Graham Mullis at Love Hemp (LIFE) and onto another shocker from the lobster pot Evrima (EVA), hat tip M for that one. Finally, a detailed look at Powerhouse Energy (PHE), its dismal interims, Zak’s appalling forecast/plain paid for ramping and the looming cash crisis set to unfold by this time next year. The big tent for ShareStock arrived today. Gosh it is heavy. I am dreading trying to put it up. To get inside it book your seats HERE.

If Steve Holdsworth has not passed away as I was told I hope he enjoys what I have to say about him. If he has that is my greatest loss today although I do also discuss Optibiotix (OPTI) and Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) in detail, the two battering the value of my pension fund. I won’t push Steve O’ Hara in the River at Sharestock but if he brings his chairman I’d be tempted. Grilling O’Hara in person over a Wrexham lager is surely another reason for you to book HERE. The number of seats now needed: 74. Join the crowd on September 10. I discuss Red Rock Resources (RRR), Allied Minds (ALM), Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and, on behalf of a convalescing Nigel Somerville, Haydale Graphene (HAYD).

Does our own BB savant PL still believe in reports from this company’s house broker saying that Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) shares will roof it? Who is going to break the news to him that Santa and the tooth fairy are not real? Today’s Q2 numbers try to hide the point but are truly appalling.

I start with dire numbers from the theme park operator and what they mean for companies such as MADE.com (MADE), Fevertree (FEVR) and ProCook (PROC). Then I look at the former WPCT (SUPP), Revolution Beauty (REVB) and Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), now a great low risk short, as the price is capped by the death spiral in place. That cap can only move lower.

I start with my troubles in travelling and also with a guest at the Greek Hovel changing all the locks. Suffice to say I am in a bad mood as I head back to Wales. Then it is onto Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) where – goaded by a trolling and abusive shareholder – I remind you why the shares will be sub 10p by Christmas and could well then head rapidly towards zero. Then back to Zak Mir and Lift Ventures (LFT), where I serve up a scenario where the initial Miriad deal was illegal and the cover-up needs exposing, something Aquis Regulation could do at ease. Of course if the NEDS and adviser Optiva are smart and, if my theory is correct, they will resign and whistleblow now as IF the initial deal was illegal and that is now being covered up they do not want to be implicated if things get messy.

Anyone who invests in a company run by serial value destroyer Arthur Milholland is asking for it. After deceiving investors ahead of its last placing, his latest vehicle for self enrichment, Canadian Overses Petroleum (COPL) has today served up a new debt structure which is so utterly horrible it tells you just how badly Milholland and Canadian are perceived. I discuss this, the shambles at Mirriad (MIRI), Eden Research (EDEN) and at cash strapped Asimilar (ASLR).

I share a few thoughts with you – truths one cannot say in public – about the game last night. Notwithstanding that, I enjoyed the match, and the Northern Ireland girls held their heads up. Then, I discuss Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), explaining my Christmas sub-10p target – the shares really will halve from here. I look at Shield Therapeutics (STX), MGC Pharmaceuticals (MXC), and Science in Sport (SIS) which, at every level, looks a stinker – even after today’s 22% fall, the shares are grotesquely overvalued. I explain why. Finally, I describe why Malcolm should have learned from IQE (IQE) before continuing to tip Zoo Digital (ZOO) - as he has again done, today.

I mix metaphors, after a hard session watering the lawn for ShareStock. Thereafter, I discuss: Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL); Wandisco (WAND) and a wasted decade; Argo Blockchain (ARB) and why Mark, who is right about most things, is wrong; Vast Resources (VAST); Tertiary Minerals (TYM); Guild ESports (GILD); and Wildcat Petroleum (WCAT).

I have already flagged how Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), and Pure Gold (PUR), misled investors by hiding auditors’ warnings. Now, Mkango Resources (MKA) has joined the deceiving club. The FCA, as regulator of the Standard List, must act. I have penned the letter below to Mark Steward at the FCA, and the bogus Sheriff of AIM, Marcus Stuttard.

This has been the most stressful day in Greece for a long while; I really do need a holiday. I explain all. Then I look at Sensyne (SENS); Chill Brands (FRAUD); Blue Star Capital (BLU) and an AGM shock that may trigger the collapse of the Bixby, Edwards, Frangos, Story and Peter Wall house of cards. Then it is onto Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), where today’s placing vindicates me. I argue that a 20.75p share price is a compelling shorting opportunity on a risk-reward basis. Matthew and his dog will enjoy that section, as Arthur Millholland, the snake oil salesman at Canadian, really is talking shite in today’s release. I am so angry.

I have been bearish on this for a while, unable to understand the valuation from the IPO. Shares in THG, The Hut Group as was, now trade at a new low of 95p. There are a couple of matters to discuss ahead of numbers on Thursday, notably a management departure and suggestions of late payments to suppliers. Is this window dressing as per Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and its December 31 cash number, or something worse?
I have written once again to the FCA, as the regulator of the Standard List, urging it to act against Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) as it struggles to get its 20p-a-share bailout placing away, despite misleading investors. My letter is below:

I discuss: Twitter and the bid from Elon Musk; Petropavlovsk (POG); Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL); FinnCap (FCAP); today’s trading statement; and problems with Greek workmen.

I start with Deliveroo (ROO), whose IPO was at 390p – a year later, the shares are at 106p. What went wrong, I ask, and what now for the shares? Then to two placings: Vast Resources (VAST) announced its placing on Monday; I discussed the one Canadian (COPL) has been working on since last Thursday, last night. It seems to be struggling, but I expect it will be announced by the company tomorrow. Both placings stink, and decent regulators would be all over them. I explain why.

I wrote several articles last week about how Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) had mislead investors and was facing a cash crisis. Snake oil salesman CEO Arthur Millholland of Oilexco infamy responded with a denial and a claim that I did not know what I was talking about and was motivated by nefarious aims of self-enrichment. Well guess fucking what?

I start with football and a question from last night’s West Ham game about how society now views crime and criminals. Then onto the lessons from the collapse of Sensyne (SENS), the bastard child of Neil Woodford and sleazy Lord Drayson. I look at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and at Bidstack (BIDS) as well as at Angus Energy (ANGS) and Sound Oil (SOU). Finally the odd case of NFT Investments (NFT) and the Bixby/Edwards/ Frangos/Storey/Peter Wall gang.

Yes, for the second time this week I have written to the regulators of the Standard List, that is to say the FCA, asking for an investigation into Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) the almost insolvent POS run by snake oil salesman Arthur Millholland of Oilexco infamy. The letter is below.

Fear not,no waffle, this is not bad. I start with Rishi Sunak, his Mrs and tax non-payment. Then I look at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), caught telling another monster porky today, Vast Resources (VAST), Omega Diagnostics (ODX), Victoria Plumbing (VIP), Arden Partners (ARDN), Ince (INCE) and a new uber dog on the Standard List, Ajax Resources (AJAX), another overvalued POS example of crony capitalism.
Adding to the grotesquely deceptive and misleading RNS of April 1 and the failure to inform investors of numerous covenant breaches, I now expose another $8 million PORKY PIE told by the Snake Oil salesmen at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL). This should shock even the FCA into action.
This is hilarious and libellous. What Canadian (COPL) has said about me in its RNS in response to THIS is untrue and defamatory as its limp dick advisors at morally bankrupt PR Yellow Jersey know full well. However it is what Canadian fails ( again) to say about itself that is critical. It is still deceiving its investors massively and thus the smart money will be using the spike it has created to add to their shorts.
Let’s start with the smear on me. Arthur Millholland (of Oilexco infamy) says

Following shocking exposes TODAY and YESTERDAY demonstrating clearly that Standard Listed Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) has deceived and misled investors and driven a coach and horses through the rule book I have written to the FCA suggesting an immediate share suspension pending a cleansing RNS statement and a full disciplinary enquiry. The letter is below.

Yesterday I exposed how Standard Listed Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) misled and deceived investors by hiding company threatening matters from them in an final results RNS on Friday. But this is only the tip of the deception iceberg. Canadian has been deceiving its shareholders for months and months. So this scandal gets far worse as I explain below. Surely the FCA has to act….

I start with a personal reflection as it is my late dad’s birthday. Then onto the wider scandal highlighted by my expose earlier of Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) HERE. I then discuss Avacta (AVCT) and Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and how long one can defy gravity before concluding with a very detailed look at the hard numbers behind Moonpig (MOON) where, I suggest, shares will be heading much lower.
The purpose of an RNS is to inform investors not to deceive and mislead them. But that is exactly what Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) did last Friday when it published results for calendar 2021. On the RNS we were treated to an abridged version which read really positively. I can imagine why folks rushed to buy. But…

Hat tip my esteemed stockbroker, I flag up a major red flag for global equity markets. I discuss a hot rumour of the real reason the FCA swooped to shut down broker SVS. The announcement of a change of strategy today from Canadian Overseas (COPL) has not been welcomed by the City's No 1 oil analyst Zac "the Knife" Phillips of SP Angel who slams what is proposed as "financing folly". The great man opines:
