Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: A day of amazing bravery and triumph for me at the Greek Hovel

Happy Good Friday from Greece. I describe my amazing triumph and then go on to discuss Carnival (CCL), Superdry (SDY), Minoan (MIN), Mirriad (MIRI), Ince Group (INCE), how companies that admit they are failing end up in a vicious circle and more. There may not be a Bearcast Saturday, it all depends on what time I make it back to Wales.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Singing to you all in Welsh

There is a film in which my Great Aunt starred where there is singing in Welsh. She is the lady on the right in the first scene below. Anyhow I start today’s podcast singing to you in Welsh for reasons I explain. Then it is onto Carson Block and Pantheon Resources (PANR), Carnival (CCL), BSF Enterprise (BSFA), Tern (TERN), nanosynth (NNN), Versarien (VRS) and the comedy at Deliveroo (ROO) which still has to be a short does it not?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Yes! Carnival could be a zero

I start by rubbing more salt into the wounds of Chris Bailey as I look at just how screwed is Carnival (CCL). Then onto whether we are in a recession or not and how long it will last. In light of my conclusion I urge you to ignore Malcolm’s share tip tomorrow. Finally a thanks to a reader who stopped me poisoning my family last night with my self sufficiency. Tonight’s episode of that part of my life is marrow and ginger jam.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Retirement postponed part 2 as the mother-in-law moves in

Not only are Optibiotix (OPTI) shares not flying (yet) but part two of my retirement plan has also been scuppered as I explain, by the imminent arrival of my in-laws to live in our annexe. I am busy preparing for that and also sorting out the garden ahead of a Greek trip, hence a late bearcast. In that, I discuss whether foolks really are paid to post rubbish on Bulletin Boards, why some companies set up a new holding company and at Carnival (CCL) and elsewhere why an obsession with E &S lets poor G ( shocking greed) take place.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Has Pfizer really got a Covid vaccine that works for 90% of us?

I start with the wonder vaccine. Is it a cure all for companies such as Cineworld (CINE) or Carnival (CCL)? Then I consider Julie Meyer in light of the research I was doing yesterday for the Gewanter case and what it says about the UK’s rotten honours system.  Then I look at Inspirit (INSP), Countrywide (CWD), Amigo (AMGO) and Escape Hunt (ESC) where I stand with Steve not Justin the Clown.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Verditek, I told y'all!

I start with a few words on my preparations for tomorrow’s funeral which will mean my absence from this site for a day.  Then onto the election in America where our boy is on a bit of a roll - a full analysis of recent developments is in a special podcast HERE.  Then it is on to Verditek (VDTK), Versarien (VRS), Covid shorts and longs including, sorry Three Brains, Carnival (CCL). Finally a look at grossly overvalued Mirriad (MIRI).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: sorry Colin enough is enough I am out

In today’s podcast I consider my dining experience in Chester last night and then look at Carnival (CCL), Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and its jail bait CEO and the 1 question its diehard supporters cannot answer. Moving on I consider Xtract Resources (XTR), Tiger Royalties (TIR) and the loathsome spiv Jon Bellis of Novum who has now pushed me over the edge, I look at Novacyt (NCYT) and TrakM8 (TRAK), once the beau of Britain’s thirstiest share blogger

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: So who was bonkers enough to buy those 37 million Boohoo shares?

A busy morning recording MineProphets videos with Chris Bailey, remember to book your ticket for next Saturday HERE. In today’s bearcast I discuss Boohoo (BOO) and Carnival (CCL).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Insanity, insanity, insanity but there is no arguing with the express train

Today’s recordings for the ShareProphets shares show included Gabriel Grego and Luvian Miers – almost three hours between them. In all I sense there may well be more than 70 hours of content on May 9 which will include some amazing stuff. So book your ticket now  HERE.. Elsewhere the world has gone mad but it is pointless pointing that out. I discuss Catennae (CTEA), Novacyt (NCYT) and Carnival (CCL).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: This is NOT a late April Fool: Bear raider Evil Knievil turns mega bullish on shares

I swear i am not joking. I discuss my life with Evil (no, Mt BBM we are not gay lovers, stop sniggering at the back) and his remarkable macro view.  I also reveal I have a treat for you all, keep May 8 in your diaries! In terms of stocks I look at the scandalous flouting of almost every rule by AIM Casino posterboy Conroy Gold & Natural Resources (CGNR) and the wider issue that the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation will do SFA about. I look at Burford (BUR) and more vindication for my pal Carson Block of Muddy Waters, at Carnival (CCL) – sorry Three Brains -  and at Coro Energy (CORO) where the curse of James “Dracula” Parsons strikes again.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: stockmarket and oil price crash special

Don’t worry the sun will still rise tomorrow and we are not ALL going to die of Coronavirus. I discuss the oil price crash and stockmarket slump and look in particular at: Tern (TERN), Carnival (CCL), Bidstack (BIDS), Versarien (VRS), the antics of market makers, Diversified Gas & Oil (DGOC), Bahamas Petroleum (BPC), BP (BP.), Shell (RDSB), Tullow (TLW), Optibiotix (OPTI) and Premier Oil (PMO)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Even Shipston's Buffett is starting to panic

I am indeed with my father in Shipston this morning and even he has noticed that he is not quite as rich as he was two weeks ago. Shiuld we pamic about our holdings? On balance I am not suggesting that you do but certain stocks do look very vulnerable. Surely profits warnings from Telit (TCM), IQE (IQE) and Carnival (CCL) are in the pipeline. Then there is the issue of companies such as Bidstack (BIDS) which need placings urgently. Just how possible is that going to be in the current climate. Then to Sirius (SXX). The Sunday papers seem to think that sh\areholders may well reject the Anglo bid and so lose everything. I discuss this looming calamity, who is to blame and what the impact localised and more widely will be.

Photo Article: Lovely Eleni and Joshua's intended, Little Red Riding Hood - its Carnival!

I am still a bit confused as to why it was Carnival day all on Sunday but all over Greece folks were celebrating. I watched on TV as in Naxos they paraded through the streets dressed, I think, as ghouls. Somewhere else, a name containing absolutely all those Greek letters I can't pronounce and just give up on - they were dressed as sheep or was it goats, but they had bells on. With the carnival over Lent has now begun which means that the devout will eat no meat although it will still be served everwhere for Godless souls such as me and the Albanians.
