The last time West Ham were in a cup final (2006), I was there. The less said about that match the better. The only bar we could find afterwards near the ground in Cardiff not packed with joyful Scousers, in which to drown our sorrows, was a gay bar. We had real sorrows to drown.

I have commented HERE on the scandal of the £216 Lush blow up involving Andrew Monk’s VSA Capital (VSA). That is the VSA which is happy to act for the crooked insider dealing market abusers at Caracal Gold (GCAT).as it finds itself under a full blown FCA Enquiry. So who better to lecture, in the tweet below, the ethical chaps at Lush on corporate ethics than Mr Monk? What next? Nadhim Zahawi lecturing us all on why we should pay more tax? Matt Hancock on the sanctity of marriage? David Moyes on how to manage a football club?

"So who is this David Moyes?" Asked the Mrs after I said that he had been sacked. Surely not knowing who is the (now ex) manager of West Ham is grounds for divorce or at least a trip to Relate? I ponder what as a Republican I should do tomorrow before hoping that both sides lose the FA Cup Final. Then I turn to the looming cash crisis at Sound Energy (SOU) how my most excellent broker, Mr Antony Laiker, stopped me being a real tit and losing a packet on Interquest (ITQ), at Scotgold (SGZ) and at Carpetright (CPR).

My beloved West Ham are on nine points and in the relegation zone. We have just sacked one useless manager in Slaven Bilic, something we should have done ageas ago. But we have replaced him with David Moyes and many of us fear that he will make Bilic look like Ron Greenwood. So facing the biggest crisis since the last one I am deliughted to hear the big news today...

Could it be drinks on Shareprophets Editor Ben Turney? Ben is looking good so far on a £50, 120-1 two part bet placed yesterday based on failure for Manchester United.
The bet is a two parter. First up is for Man United to get knocked out of the Champions League by Greek side Olympiacos. After the first leg in Athens the Greeks are two nil ahead. How Ben must be praying for an early Greek away goal at Old Trafford which would leave United needing to score four to win.
The second part of the bet is on David Moyes

For years, the cheers emanating from Manchester United’s tribal heartlands of Surry and the New Forrest have been deafening. The Red Devils won everything and the rest of us had to suffer the delight of a legion of fair-weather supporters. The boot is now on the other foot.
A few years ago an away leg at Greek Champions Olympiacos would have been a stroll in the park. But tonight United played as badly in Europe as they have at home and have been kebabbed 2-0. As a Hellenophile I take a double delight in this result. Mighty Hellas has put the men of Moyes to the sword.
No European football next year will put a real strain on the finances of Manchester United Inc, the NASDAQ listed company. And that could prove really entertaining as the budget to replace some of its ageing team is curbed. Oh happy days.
On twitter it is being suggested that United should sack manager David Moyes and replace him with newly unemployed Piers Morgan…he couldn’t do any worse could he?
