The Poet Laureate is in the Arctic writing poems about global warming. Mr Simon Armitage was interviewed by Amal Rajan and Martha Kearney on BBC Radio 4’s Today show and it was just so lamentable. The poet talked utter tommy rot and the presenters had done no homework on hard data to call him out. It was the London liberal elite GroupThink on steroids. With data I call out the lot of them for serving up fake news and fake poetry.

One imagines that those writers at the Guardian who are not vegetarian eat only the finest organic ethically reared and killed meat. Price does not matter for members of the well paid metropolitan liberal elite. But what about poor people?

The murder of Tory MP David Amess is shocking and horrible and, naturally, one thinks of his family. But the reaction of the media and political class has been telling, a sign of just how completely and utterly out of touch they are with we dirty plebs. The same could never have been said of East End born David Amess but he was an unusual fellow inside the Westminster bubble.

Back in July polls showed that most folks supported Black Lives Matter. The few of us who pointed out that an organisation that wanted to defund Britain’s (unarmed) Police, end capitalism and the nuclear family and shut down jails while boycotting Israel was somewhat questionable, were dismissed by the liberal media elites as racist. They did not challenge the facts they simply smeared the sceptics. Those who dared to suggest that the late George Floyd was not exactly the heir to Mother Theresa were clearly alt-right freaks. The Premier League, BBC Presenters, Basketball England as well as the Metropolitan Police of Cressida Dick determined that we should all take a knee. But times have changed.

This should not be a left and right issue but, in the culture wars, it now is. Folks are cancelling their Netflix subscriptions in thousands not only in protest over its deal with Prince Harry and his ghastly woke Mrs but, now, because of a new film it produced and screened, Cuties. It tells the tale of young, only just teenage, girls wanting to be “dancers” and the sexualisation of these kids. Them fondling themselves in all regions on stage is, more or less, paedophilia. Netflix is now Nonceflix.

Have you ever been burgled? I have. You feel violated. As if your home is dirty. For a long while you feel unsafe in your own abode. What if they come again? And it is a crime that affects folks of both genders, oops sorry I meant all genders. This Guardian headline below is not meant to be ironic and is the sort of nonsense which helps to explain why sales of this sordid rag are crashing, however many fake news articles by Carole Cadwalladr it publishes.

"Next warns on Brexit" risks screamed the headline on the BBC website as you can see below. On radio and TV broadcasters shouted the same message. But if you read what Next, a company run by highly pro Europe management, actually said rather than what the state funded broadcaster said it said you might be surprised.

Hell's teeth: I do not even support England, but the sneering elitism of the metropolitan elite, as exemplified by the little read Independent newspaper (below), almost makes me want to. For the avoidance of doubt, with no Irish team in Russia, I am hoping that England triumph. I would not go as far as some of my neighbours in flying the cross of St George but I understand their pride in their country and why they do so.

Lord (Andrew) Adonis is one of those folks who wants we dumb commoners to keep voting on Brexit until we realise the error of our ways and vote the same way as clever people like him and the man who enobled him, the war criminal Tony Blair. So what is the worst thing about Brexit? His Lordship tweets to enlighten us...

It has started already. The DUP, from God's chosen land of Ulster, will back the Tories and we might just have stable Government for a while. The liberal media elite who are reporting Jeremy Corbyn's "victory speech ( hint Labour lost) is enraged. The knives are out for the DUP for they stand for everything that London millionaires despise.

Following the first round of the French Elections the liberal press was quick to spin the line" the results are a a vote against the establishment, against the elites". The spin here was that both Marine Le Pen and Tony Blair clone Emmanuel Macron were outsiders, anti establishment candidates while the traditional parties of Government had been beaten badly. This was spin. It was fake news designed to assist Macron. Marine Le Pen's job before the second round is to demolish that idea and so far she is doing a fairly good job of doing just that.

You will remember that the killer of Jo Cox MP had a long history of mental health issues yet sections of the mainstream media still term him a right wing extremist. In Dusseldorf in Germany last night a man attacked folks with an axe injuring seven and he has already been branded as mentally ill. He may well be but the Police, without questioning from the liberal media, are also insisting that he hails from the former Yugoslavia. This is Orwellian.

I was rather fond of Michelle Obama if not of her other half, President hopey change. Okay she has a range of misguided views on all sorts of things but she seems to have a sense of humour and a pleasant enough demeanour. But there were those who criticised her generating, in many cases, a stock response from the liberal left and media: racist. If it was not racism that drove attacks on Mrs hopey change it was sexism. Now many of Michelle's defenders are now on the attack against the latest Mrs Trump, the lovely Melania.

I start out by explaining why those discussing how Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 0.25% so should be President are talking rubbish but I then go onto the more widespread refusal to accept what is going on by the liberal establishment here and in the USA. I look at Thursday's BBC Question Time which was a disgrace and forward to more shocks for the elite across the EU.

Nearly every conservative on this planet is rooting for Donald Trump against Crooked Hillary this autumn. Those of us who loathe the self proclaimed elite, the establishment of big business, the liberal media, the career politicians, Goldman Sachs and Monsanto, the crony capitalists, the bailout junkies are even more likely to back Trump...after all just look where Clinton's funding comes from. And thus as a conservative who rails against the establishment it is no shock that Nigel Farage of UKIP is backing The Donald and turned up at a rally last night. One "conservative insurgent" supports another: and you are surprised? What was even more predictable were the social media whinings of the liberal whingers.

You would have thought that leaders of the failing Evil Empire would have reacted to Brexit and the surge in support for anti EU parties across the continent by at least pretending to listen to the people of Europe. Surely a few cliches about "we must listen" would have been standard spin. But the EU really does not care.

Thanks to the lightning strike on the Greek Hovel I spent Saturday night in a hotel room in Kalamata which meant that I got to enjoy the BBC World News. Jeepers it was excruciating as the presenters reported on something they obviously felt was a disaster, that is to say Brexit.
In one session we went live to interview a chap in Paris. natch, it was not an independent expert but the BBC's own man there Hugh Schofield who discussed how the French viewed Brexit. Please note how "the French" viewed the vote.

Stephen Kinnock has never really had a proper job outside the political world apart from a few months with the British Council. Daddy led the Labour Party to defeat then became a European Commissioner. Mummy was an MEP. His Mrs was PM of Denmark stating that her whole family lived in high tax socialist Denmark. Only that Stephen actually paid (very low) taxes in Switzerland where he worked. The establishment investigated and the establishment said that its own had done nothing wrong. Jolly good show.

Here in Shipston my father is competing with his old friend Maurice on who can be more reactionary. That brings up how we all dealt with some junk mail. The podcast covers how the past week has shown the media and political elite circle wagons encompassing those on both left and right. The real battle is between them and we little people, the taxpayers, the 99%.
