In today’s podcast I discuss an accumulator bet on three profits warnings before Christmas or 4 before St Valentine’s Day. I look at S4 Capita (SFOR) run by the pompous prick of the year 2010-23, Argontex (AGFX) and the disaster that is Falanx (FCS)

Falanx Change of Adviser – talk me through the logic, chaps

Back in March 2019, cyber-security play-cum-jam-tomorrow producer, Falanx (FLX), sacked its Nomad (Spark Advisory) and “upgraded” to Stifel. Three years later, there is a new change. It all makes no sense.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - nappy issues restrict work

And I fear that this will continue all week. I am pretty pissed off with Jaya’s nursery and thinking that I am in the wrong business. It looks an even better calling than cabbage picking. I cover two companies today: Ben’s Creek and the explicit challenge to and communication with the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation and Falanx (FLX) where I am sure good news will be pissed away.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - the millions of reasons why I would not touch Falanx with a bargepole

As I prepare for blackberry picking with newly arrived Olaf the bearcast today covers just one company, one where I was a shareholder but would not go back, Falanx (FLX). I do mention Jubilee Metals (JLP), en passant.

Falanx says feck you to its shareholders yet again as it issues yet more options

There were two reasons why I eventually dumped my shares in Falanx (FLX) at a loss. The first was serial non delivery. There was a different excuse every time it missed targets and I shall turn to today’s abject trading statement in a separate piece. Suffice to say that if this company predicted that the sun would rise tomorrow, my instinct would be to dismiss this as just another fanciful aspiration.  The second is the issue of share options.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Of course Jesus was a refugee & Clem you are talking out of your arse

I start with Joshua’s Advent caldendar and with some right wing harridan on twitter who reckons suggesting Jesus was a refugee is anti Jewish left wing fake news. Then it is onto Falanx (FLX) en passant,  Online Blockchain (OBC) and to Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS) both of which have disgraced themselves yet again today.

I am in Shipston with my father and start by discussing how I deal with phone calls here. I look at another crazy Covid story then at Versarien (VRS), Amigo (AMGO), Vela (VELA), Falanx (FLX), Cineworld (CINE) and at a clever arb for fools like Zak Mir who believe in Supply@ME Capital (SYME), that leading enterprise from the province of Norfolk.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Maybe this time the odious bullshitter O'Leary is right

In today’s podcast I look at the pronouncements from the odious leprechaun at Ryanair (RYA), Michael O’Leary. He may be right in what he says but that is no reason to buy airline shares. Then I cover Corero (CNS), Open Orphan (ORPH), where I am both vindicated after Friday’s letter to AIM Regulation and also a seller of more shares today, Novacyt (NCYT), Collagen (COS), Falanx (FLX), and Bidstack (BIDS). Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Falanx you are talking complete & utter bollocks - I speak as a loyal shareholder

I start with an admission that I am a total git. The ShareProphets Shares Conference is on 9 May (Saturday) not 8th as I had suggested. I am a git. I apologise. Please book your tickets now HERE. Then I deal with Falanx (FLX), the bearded millionaire tosser Branson trying to have it both ways, Iconic (ICON), Catenae (CTEA), my pension fund where I am si grateful to James Hay for being so useless, negative oil prices and which companies other than Nostra Terra (NTOG) will go bust and the laughable ramp at Chesterfield Resources (CHF).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Guess today's site visit by myself, the Mrs & Joshua

Clue, the company’s shares are worth 0p.  I then look at why Falanx (FLX) needs to a) fire its broker and b) discourage its chairman from making pitiful share purchases. Then it is onto the mounting problems for Gervais Williams. I really do wonder if the Miton Smaller Companies Fund will see out the year as the spiral is becoming truly vicious. And what of the contagion risks?

I look at Burford (BUR), Falanx (FLX), IQE (IQE), Xaar (XAR), Providence Resources (PVR) and Lansdowne Oil & Gas (LOGP). Falanx - unimpressive interims & placing, though shares to still more than double?

Forget all the blather about how Falanx (FLX) will use the £4 million net raised at 3p to grow its business. Interim results for the period to 30 September show that it was almost out of cash. It is thus quite infuriating for the company to state that it has raised the cash “in response to institutional demand”. Whoever wrote that should be hung, drawn and quartered and have their head placed on a spike outside the Stock Exchange as a warning to others who sput such obvious bollocks via RNS. To the results first...

Just 30 places left: 16 October me Dom Frisby, Falanx and a long Premaitha slot plus booze and canapes

There are now fewer than 30 places left for the next Wray family organised UK Investor evening seminar in central London. So if you want to book a slot do so now HERE.  The event kicks off with drinks and canapes from 5.30 with the first talk just after six. It will be a packed evening.

Falanx (FLX) has a 20 minute presentation and will take questions for another ten or maybe more. As a supportive e but long suffering shareholder I have a couple of questions myself. Then it is Premaitha (NIPT) which presents for twenty minutes but will face another twenty minutes of questions INCLUDING A NUMBER FROM ME !!!!!

There this then a session where I plan to tear into bitcoin and blockchain believer Dominic Frisby about the ponzi he appears to think holds water. Then more drinks and canapes.

There are only about 20 places left so if you want to “have words” with Adam Reynolds and Premaitha now is your chance. Book HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Justin the Clown who proves he cannot count to ten live on air interviews a shameless John Meyer of SP Angel

This may be the main bearcast or it may be a bonus. It all depends on how I feel and daughter Olaf feels after I pick her up at 4.30 AM Athens time in the Greek capital. In this I look at Falanx (FLX), the red flag of a rapid change in advisers ref Halosource (HALO) but also in more general terms and then at a shameless performance by John Meyer of SP Angel as he is interviewed by Justin the Clown over Bluejay (JAY). Meyer is at best an idiot, at worst he is covering up for what appears to be market abuse by his employer in relation to Bluejay shares. I will not let this one go. The clown's podcast is torture to listen to but can be found HERE if you feel you deserve 20 minutes of torture.

Waseem has a few wise things to say and I note why I always listen to him even if he is being beastly about a stock I own. Do you really benefit from closing your ears to a contrary viewpoint from a guy who is more often right than wrong? No. Elsewhere I look at how gravity cannot be defied forever and Inspirit (INSP), Avanti Comms (AVN), I3 Energy (I3E). Truly some of my fellow shareholders in Falanx (FLX) are some of the dumbest folks on earth. I refer you to yesterday's bonus bearcast which will be a theme for the next 18 months. It relates to Topps Tiles (TPT) where the bad news is largely priced in. But I think I have a £1billion stock that it could take to zero. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Jumping Fleas, Falanx & trying to be objective about PCGE

I start with a look at the weekend's events in what could be, and should be, the Catalan Republic. It shows our political leaders, but especially those in the EU, in the worst possible light. If the Catalans do go it alone it has massive implications for the Euro which I discuss. Then it is on to PCG Entertainment (PCGE) where I declare an interest but try to be objective in a detailed analysis. There is a similar biopsy but it could soon be an autopsy on Starcom (STAR). I also cover Falanx (FLX) "the flea jumping" - a stock we own - and comment on Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO). I have remembered what I forgot at the end and will cover it tomorrow.

Buy Falanx at a 7.5p offer - target to sell 10p+

First the disclosures. No 1. We own stacks of these shares (bought at 4p) but will not sell until the shares are north of 10p. No 2. Hotstockrockets tipped them at a 4.25p offer and has them as a STRONG HOLD -I think certain colleagues are too cautious. Now over to cybersecurity play Falanx (FLX) which has recently served up a cracking trading statement and a cute little acquisition. Falanx says that in the run up to its half year end  (30 September) it has won "significant new sales contracts with recurring revenue... Remains on course for operational breakeven this financial year." It repeats that "business on track to reach breakeven during the financial year with sufficient cash to see all current operations through to profitability."
