Each year the Darwin awards are handed out to those who prove that old Charles was right by acting in such a dumb way as to precipitate their own demise and thus weed out the weakest links in the human gene pool. Personally I'd give a special mention to all those Islamofascist suicide bombers in a team cartegory for lifetime achievement but the official awards are out and are as follows:
