Today's bearcast is slightly delayed by the LSE IT glitch but here goes as Joshua and I prepare for coffee with the fit young mums and then another training walk, this time with Joshua. In the podcast I cover UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Interquest (ITQ), Sound Energy (SOU) Feedback (FDBK), which wins bullshitter of the day award, and Frontera (FRR). Now, 5% of Bearcast listeners have donated to the Woodlarks charity walk but 95% have not! And we are now at 26% of our £20,000 target. As I prepare for a training walk - pushing Joshua - to those who have donated I say thank you. To the rest, I know you can afford a tenner - think of me training and cough up now HERE

"So who is this David Moyes?" Asked the Mrs after I said that he had been sacked. Surely not knowing who is the (now ex) manager of West Ham is grounds for divorce or at least a trip to Relate? I ponder what as a Republican I should do tomorrow before hoping that both sides lose the FA Cup Final. Then I turn to the looming cash crisis at Sound Energy (SOU) how my most excellent broker, Mr Antony Laiker, stopped me being a real tit and losing a packet on Interquest (ITQ), at Scotgold (SGZ) and at Carpetright (CPR).

The 3xs are the best friend of a fraudbuster or an investigative journalist and right now xs are lining up to me to chat about Julie Meyer. The Winnileaks service is buzzing. Julie's reign of terror over the xs is over. Away from that I comment on whether it is better to travel to arrive, the idea that UK Equities have only been this cheap during world wars - bollocks in the Telegraph - Interquest (ITQ) whose management are A grade a'holes and Westminster Group (ditto) where the issue is not where earnings will be in 4 years as our in-house BB loon Wildes suggests - but whether the company will be bust in 4 weeks.

Today's related party deal is the final straw and I have to use a C word when it comes to Gary Ashworth & Interquest (ITQ). I also look at Forbidden Technologies (FBT) which - whatever the directors say - needs a placing. I discuss PZ Cussons (PZC), Vernalis (VER) and Paul Scott's woes at Conviviality (CVR) - Scotty that is the danger of reading broker notes you should speak to the company instead. Nudge Nudge, know what I mean. Wink, wink.Make sure you get your free ticket to UK Investor on April 21 using the promotional code WINNIFRITH when booking an investor class seat HERE - if only to hear a live 40 minute bearcast with myself & Paul Scott being recorded!

Apparently I am not allowed to call Sam Smith of FinnCap a fat pig b ecuase she is female and women have "body image issues". Well, as an overweight male, I can say that we men can also have such issues. I won't therefore be sexist and discriminate. I insult Sam because her firm banks a big cheque every month for acting for a firm run by an insider dealer. Sam you take money to act for crooks, I insult you and being a woman won't you off the hook. Do you understand now, you morally bankrupt cow? Elsewhere I look at: Providence Resources (PVR), Stratex (STI), Anglesey Mining (AYM), Interquest (ITQ) and Conroy Gold & Natural Resources (CGNR).

I covered the Interquest (ITQ) scandal in a separate bearcast HERE. If you like bad language or tales of AIM wrongdoing you will love it. Elsewhere I look at the latest utterly meaningless trading statement from Audioboom (BOOM). Why is its CEO Rob Proctor so averse not only to defending free speech but also to handing out metrics that actuially mean anything. He is another man for the job of lavatory attendant at the Athens bus station. And BTW this company is going to run out of cash AGAIN. I also look at Havelock Europa (HVE), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and 88 Energy (88E). Now SIGH UP FOR A HOT SHARE TIP FREE HERE NOW!

Gary Ashworth the founder and chairman of Interquest (ITQ) was once someone I once counted as a friend. No more and never again. Gary has behaved like a total prize shit with his 42p per share attempted MBO and a statement at 4.01 PM today was a final fuck you from Gary, CFO David Bygrave and the other complete and utter bastards behind the MBO. Gary I despise you and your pals as you have behaved beyond badly. Today's RNS is a case study in telling shareholders that their views do not matter and that they are about to be ( once again) utterly shafted. This podcast contains a lot of bad language but perhaps that is the only language that prize shits like Ashworth understand.

With shares in InterQuest (ITQ) yesterday having increased on the day from comfortably below 40p to well above, at 3:51pm (noting the “recent share price movement” - nothing suspicious to concern AIM regulation then!) a newly created company (Chisbridge Ltd) formed by Gary Ashworth, Chris Eldridge and David Bygrave (respectively InterQuest Chairman, CEO and CFO and 33.3%, 0% and 0.1% shareholders) ‘confirmed’ “that it is evaluating making an offer for InterQuest at 42 pence per share in cash with a full loan note alternative”. They're taking the piss, surely...

A latest “Trading update” announcement from recruitment group InterQuest (ITQ) saw the shares fall to to circa 30p although with Jim Mellon upping his stake they are now 35p. We have had a long chat with the company’s Chairman Gary Ashworth.

I am utterly shattered after day three of the olive harvest - a photo article is HERE. Please note Cloudtag (CTAG) morons I can't respond to your inane tweets at once every day. Cloudtag shares have raced ahead today. I explain why and why it won't last. As with all frauds the target price is 0p. Talking of which I also discuss Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) which seems unwilling to comment on today's bombshell revalations and African Potash (TOAST). I also look at Mirada (MIRA), Interquest (ITQ) and Aeorema Communications (AEO)

Shares in Interquest (ITQ) slipped to 32p last week although they are now 33p-34p. I swapped emails with a rather glum chairman Gary Ashworth. Of course Gary is glum, as the largest shareholder his net wealth has been materially dented.

Post the Brexit vote and the profits warning from Interquest (0ITQ) shares in FDM (FDM) stood at 550p. They are now 450p. I have a private email from a top City analyst which explains the fall but also why the shares are cheap and a buy. It reads:

Maybe the drift in the share price ahead of Monday's profits warning from tech recruitment firm Interquest (ITQ) was telling us something. If so I'm sorry we did not hear it. The statement caused the shares to really tank. To over-react in my view.

Gary Ashworth is the founder and Chairman of Interquest (ITQ). Gary has a great track record on AIM and I regard shares in his company as being cheap. I hope that his presentation at UK Investor Show demonstrates why. Enjoy.

It has been a poor six months for shareholders in Interquest (ITQ). The stock zoomed to 130p as it put itself up for sale but no offers came in at the right price so the shares tanked to 88p. That was a big over-reaction as the company is going great guns. That is why Interquest at 100p is my first Easter share tip (buy).

The conventional wisdom is that you should follow the “insiders” that is the board in terms of buying and selling shares. Sometimes the conventional wisdom is wrong. We can start with buys.
A director share buy is only significant if it is truly material in terms of the net wealth and salary of that director. Looking at many director buys I almost think they are tantamount to market abuse. They are not material and their sole aim appears to be to support the share price. One might refer to the serial Quindell (QPP) buys announced a day at a time after Gotham as a case in point. This was nothing more than an exercise in PR – the willingness of any of those buying back in April 2014 to subsequently dump all their shares at far lower prices clearly demonstrates that.

One of my highlights of Christmas was a gathering of the friends of the woman I once referred to as the deluded lefty, that is to say the Mrs. I was ill so, having cooked for them, I retreated to bed with the cats, but coming down for a cup of tea I heard the most deluded of the lot of them (they are nearly all sociology lecturers) opine that she had “applied for research funding to study how black women are suffering in the recession.” Where does one start?
Firstly, she will get that funding and it is YOUR taxes that will fund this vital work. Secondly, you might point out that we are not in a recession so the whole thesis is fundamentally flawed but that will not stop this utter loon from securing funding from the grateful taxpayer which will produce a report concluding that the wicked Tory inspired recession has especially disadvantaged women of colour (you see I know the PC lingo off pat now) and that the taxpayer needs to invest (i.e. piss away more cash) to rectify this. We live in a mad world.
My point is that the UK is not in a recession. One of my ten macro themes for 2015 (HERE) is that UK GDP growth will be the strongest in Europe and among the strongest in the G8 and thus Steve Moore and I when tipping stocks as buys are looking for UK GDP plays. That brings me to recruitment business InterQuest (ITQ) at

InterQuest (ITQ) has announced that talks with a potential purchaser are off. In fact it held talks with a number of parties and one was serious but not at a price that Gary Ashworth and his team found acceptable. Gary is the largest shareholder, he has a great track record and I back his judgement 100%.
We chatted today at length

First the good news. At the 10th November ShareProphets Seminar I shall present on “The end game for Quindell: when and why it will go to 0p” – there are a number of scenarios so it is a when not an if and I shall explain them all in detail. If Quenron goes to 0p before then – which is conceivable – I shall do a song and dance routine instead.
To book your seats for this talk plus free pizza plus talks by Obtala, Interquest and MX Oil just email your name and address to [email protected] – places are limited to 50.

The final presentation on Monday night at the ShareProphets seminar was by myself on Monitise (MONI) as I explained why the shares were worth only 10p. With hindsight I think I might have been a bit generous but the thrust of my thesis is pretty clear cut.
Our next seminar is on Monday 10th November and features MX Oil, Obtala Resources and Interquest plus a presentation by Tom Winnifrith. Priority booking for that seminar starts later today for those registered with ShareProphets Seminars. To ensure you can book in for presentations and pizza register HERE

When a company bucks an industry trend in a commodity market upwards it is probably lying. If it bucks it downwards it is probably a crap company, dead money for investors and that brings me to ReThink Group (RTG).
The recruitment industry is having a great time. Look at numbers from quality players such as Interquest (ITQ) and that is plain to see. ReThink is not a quality player.

Movember update – four days to go. As you can see below the Movember tash is continuing to grow. I am actually rather starting to like my “follicle splendour” as Mr Kit Ingoldby described my tash.
Mr Gary Ashworth of Interquest (ITQ) – which incidentally served up a very decent trading statement today and is a buy at 94p – was rather less charitable, saying the tash was “More Ian Beale than Rhett Butler.” Mr Beale is a character in East Enders. Hmmm.
At least Gary is not trying to “out me” as gay like Evil Knievil.

Steve Moore and I tipped Interquest (ITQ) a couple of weeks ago at an 88p offer on our Nifty Fifty website. The offer is now 92p but the shares are still a buy. Here is what we wrote:
Investment Case: The UK ‘economic recovery’ doesn’t look to have the firmest of foundations but with a general election now just 18 months away it is a safe bet that the government will do all they can to sugarcoat it at least until then. This is a likely positive for recruitment group InterQuest, with more than 90% of its business being in the UK. Together with recently implemented ‘self-help’ measures, the company’s prospects look positive and the rating - even after a positive year for the shares – is still likely undemanding. Therefore, at a current 92p offer price, the shares area buy.

My July 2006 share tip on t1ps.com (the site I founded in 2000 and edited until last September) of shares in AIM listed specialist IT recruitment group, InterQuest (LSE:ITQ) is not one which has covered me in glory. Having tipped the shares at 67.5p, they traded above 80p until economic conditions darkened in the second quarter of 2008. A low of 30.5p was hit in February 2009 and the shares again traded at sub 35p in August of last year.
But to be fair to me I did suggest an aggressive average down at 45.5p
