Awesome Mid term campaign ad by the Republicans featuring a cameo by Crooked Hillary Clinton

Jobs or Mobs. that is America's choice on November 6 and for their own sake I hope they vote for jobs and that means for the GOP. It is the booming economy which sees Donald Trump's personal approval rating at 50%, far higher than Obama's rating two years in. And it is why Trump's approval rating among black voters hit 40% this week, the highest for a GOP leader in more than sixty years.  Boy how do the liberals in Hollywood with their narrative of Trump the racist explain that one? Anyhow, enjoy the video.

The £200m Tory Bribe to Rural England - heck if this works lets have more of it. It won't

The useless Tory Government has today announced it is to spend £200 million on a new package of measures to help rural England. Natch a good chunk of that is going on improving broadband speeds but the overall measures will, it is promised , create 6,000 jobs.

David Cameron you might save UK Steel by doing less not more

King Canute has cut short an Easter break, where he pretended not to be posh, to fly home to deal with the steel crisis. You see the sky is falling in and chicken little pretends that by calling an emergency summit he can fix it just like that. It is all make believe of course. This is the fantasy world of Call Me Dave where our super-hero has to be see rolling up his sleeves and doing something.

The problem is that Tata wants to leave the UK steel business as it is losing money hand over fist. What can Dave do to save 15,000 jobs in the welfare safaris? History shows that he will consider chucking taxpayer cash down the pan to ease the problem. Sure he might save a few jobs, pro tem, but it is an incredibly expensive way for a Government running a huge deficit to make a point.

The reality

My fave Tory Blogger writes: The Living Wage...the SME Job Destroyer- do the tax maths

I am always happy to give a platform to my fave Tory blogger Charlotte Argyle as her views are - as far as I know - 100% bang on the money. And so over to Charlotte.

As of December 2012, the average London worker can expect to enjoy a wage of £33,816 compared to that of their Northern neighbour, where in Manchester for example the average is £26,242.

If you go on to look at the median hourly rate for London, it is £10.13 and further investigation shows that if you take the median hourly rate by years experience, you would need 5-9 more years within that sector to reach anywhere close to the proposed £8.55 ‘living wage’ figure.

At a time of reported low growth, the living wage can be described as nothing more than another bureaucratic bid to stifle SMEs and start-up growth.

Another reason Obama deserves to lose– not reading Reagan & his job non-creation

The reasons Obama deserves not to be re-elected are legion. Sadly he is running against Mitt Romney who offers no real hope for change (change – why does that ring a non liberty bell?) and so America’s worst President since Coolidge will probably get another term. Ongoing illegal wars, continuing suppression of civil liberties via the Patriot Act; a ballooning deficit, crackpot healthcare plans…do I need to go on? But hoisting hopey change by his own petard, we turn to the issue of jobs, or rather the lack of them.

As we all know, Obama has a grandiose 5 year plan to create jobs. So far the only jobs created are for beltway insiders and otherwise unemployable liberal arts graduates.
