Once upon a time Stonewall was a great charity fighting the good fight for equality for the LGB community. But that battle is now won. So in order to justify the fat cat salaries its staffers enjoy it needs to find new battles and, I am afraid to say, that seems to mean bad ones. The tweet below can only be described as child abuse.

Stonewall used to be such a wonderful organisation when LGB folks really did someone battling for their right to equal status. But, happily, that battle is almost won and so Stonewall needs a new cause and that cause is the battle for transgender rights. Its kudos from previous fights means that it earns a fortune from Government doing “LGBT equality audits” and departments so woke this is utterly pointless. And virtue signalling PLCs also sign up for these audits and then boast of how woke they are. So accountants Grant Thornton may have been fined £4 million (too little) yesterday for enabling the patisserie holdings fraud with its slack work but at least it moved 153 places up the Stonewall rankings last year. Hooray. Pay rises all round!

I challenge even those who dislike Peter Tatchell, who loathe his methods or who just don’t like homosexuals, to watch this film and not come away from it both liking and admiring the man. Those of us who think that that day, just over 50 years ago, when Peter arrived in Britain to escape being drafted by Australia to fight in Vietnam, was a very fortuitous day, for it has given us a true national treasure, start in a different place. Wherever you start, I suggest you go to Netflix as I did yesterday for a most riveting film.

Che Guevara was the “hero” of the Cuban civil war whose face adorns T shirts of the naive across this globe. He would have been 93 today and folks like Union boss Howard Beckett are rushing to praise him, showing their complete ignorance of history, as you can see below. The left often hates history. Facts can be awkward. So Howard celebrates with the late Che showing solidary with other victims of racism, homophobia, transpobia, etc, etc. Er…

Brighton used to be known as Britain’s gay capital. But in recent times it appears to have its collective LGBT (notably T) obsession to a level which might be laughable were it parody. Sadly it is not. Today’s episode of “Off your Brighton Rocker” concerns eight year old kids.

It was 50 years since the legalisation of homosexuality and 1 day since President Donald Trump said he was banning Transgender folks from the US army. And thus BBC breakfast focused in hard on issues that affect directly just over 2% and between 0.3% and 0.6% of the population directly. What else could the liberal media focus on? It was a veritable LGBT-fest and a reminder why BBC Breakfast really is just such dismal viewing.

As they do their utmost to shift the debate on BBC pay not to the gargantuan overspend on both stars and ordinary common or garden autocue readers but to the "gender pay gap", the liberal media luvvies also spin the line that at least the BBC should be praised for its transparency. This is contrasted with we evil capitalists in the private sector who are deemed opaque. It is all so pathetic.

With no real majority at Westminster, Mrs May's pathetic Tories are unable to push through any of the so many radical changes this country needs to make to avoid going bust. The chances of radical change on any issue that matters are zippo. Or so I believed. You thought that the useless Cons were out of big ideas? Think again. Today's Sunday Times reveals dramatic new proposals to tackle the needs of the transgender community. I just despair.

What percentage of the population is gay, or LGB as we are now meant to say? Surveys in the US suggest that most of us think that the number is quite large, perhaps one in ten. Certainly if one looks at popular soap operas in the UK the gayers are everywhere which is no doubt how the liberal media elite think they need to reflect reality. But hang on...
An ONS study out this week showed that just 1.7% of the population think they are LGB. Among 16-24 year olds the number is 3.3%. As a tolerant liberal I do not think that there is some "evil homo plot" to "convert" us all to becoming friends of Dorothy. So I am minded to believe
