I take mental health very seriously and would never trivialise it. My mother killed herself when I was 8. I have suffered from bouts of severe depression and have been open about having a serious breakdown some six years ago when everything went wrong and I just could not cope. That I met the woman who is now my wife at my lows as I considered diving into the abyss I thought I faced, may well have saved my life. I do not joke about or trivialise such matters.

It is trending on twitter Stateside and as you might expect the man who is being slated is the bogeyman of a generation of bedwetting snowflakes, that is to say the leader of the Free World, President Donald Trump. His latest "crime" in la la land? Congratulating President Putin on winning the Russian election.

The millennials, on the coasts at least, are up in arms calling for and end to the rights of Americans to own firearms. Mistakenly they think that repealing the 2nd Amendment so that honest folks hand in their guns allowing criminals and nutjobs, who won't, to shoot at will, is going to make America safer. Whatever. But at least they should be consistent.

I remember at university studying Keynes (bad) , Hayek (good), Descartes (boring), Mill (brilliant), etc. Today students at, what I thought was a good university, Sussex, make models with lego. So boasts lecturer Alison Phipps as you can see below.

As my parents' generation encountered the punk rockers their hearts must have sunk. My father can remember hearing that his uncle had been killed in the war and the heroism of that generation. As children, he and my mother suffered real austerity, that is to say rationing. My father's brother suffered National Service. Looking at a youth who enjoyed only the good life without any sense of responsibility and were still angry for some reason, my parents generation must have despaired. With hindsight the 1970s was a golden era.

Yesterday it was free speech denial at Edinburgh. Today it is my old place, Oxford, that serves up a tale which just leaves it as an object of ridicule. It started with the Vice Chancellor Professor Louise Richardson who, rather foolishly, suggested that students who are upset with their tutors for expressing views against homosexuality should “challenge” them, rather than reporting their tutors to university authorities.

My twitter feed is set to a New York location. In many ways it is where my heart is though my body is rarely there. And overnight #TrumpResign was trending. How pathetic it was.

I have flagged up before how online liberal virtue signallers Avgaaz claim credit for winning every electoral contest whether they actually back the winner (Macron) or in fact back the losing side (Clinton/Remain) and also operate in the post fact era. Avaaz is always on the right side and always tells lies in its emails. And so yesterday it sent out this classic:

My twitter feed is set to the USA and what is trending right now is #TrumpImpeachmentParty - ok so what has the Donald done that merits such an action?

On Christmas Day I chatted to Uncle Chris Booker. A wide ranging chat but we cannot help but conclude that at a geo-political level the world is going ever more badly wrong. Price Charles this populism is a real danger and must be fought. Quite right you unelected hereditary multi millionaire, lets pursue policies that favour the 1% and screw the masses. Let's stick with policies that, for a reason that a patrician fool might not grasp, are not popular in any way. As a life long republican I really do hope that the Queen lives forever.

It appears that the new five pound note contains traces of tallow which is fat from a cow. Very small traces as I shall demonstrate below but that has not stopped more than 100,000 snowflake millennials signing an online petition calling for the notes to be withdrawn and the bankers responsible to be hung drawn and quartered.
Okay I made the second bit up but an awful lot of folks are getting angry on behalf of vegans, Hindus, Jews and all sort of other minorities. As it happens the Jews are quite cool about it. The board of deputies says no Jews would have a problem unless they tried to eat the notes. How sensible but elsewhere the faux anger grows. It is the sort of faux anger

I am a bad winner. I wanted Donald Trump to win and I wanted crooked Hillary Clinton to lose even more and my eight reasons why that would happen, published two months ago, proved 100% correct. I was punching the air all night as I stayed up watching the results. Georgia Yeeeees! North Carolina Yeeeeees! "Racist" Trump's share of the black & hispanic vote is up on 2012 - Yeeessss!!! Take that Matt Frei you ignorant bastard. Dippy Millennials in tears at Clinton HQ YEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! Oh what fun I had and so in the cold light of day, I list the eight moments that brought me most joy from the past 24 hours.

Back in 2004 the Guardian identified Clark County Ohio as a swing district in th4e swing state of Ohio. History shows if you win Ohio you win the White House and Clark was an uber-marginal district. So the Guardian got its readers back in the UK to call up folks in Clark. You can guess what happened next.

My fifteen year old daughter has arrived and we have had a wide ranging discussion already. I am afraid to say that she is a strong supporter of crooked Hillary Clinton and loathes Donald Trump. Note to myself: change will at once. But worse was to come.

I start on the issue of hate crimes against gays and Brexit and the Guardian just showing it does not understand data analysis as it spreads palpable lies - see HERE. Then it is onto comedy central with Conman Windham and apps for millennials via Valiant Investments. You really could not make this up. I comment on Eurasia Mining (EUA), Golden Saint Resources (DOGWITHFLEAS), Pittards (PTD) and Kefi (KEFI).

Seventy-five years ago, eighteen year old men and women were dealing with the Luftwaffe bombing our cities to oblivion, with death all around them and the stresses of war. Some had psychological stress but they were relatively rare and, frankly, who could blame them? Wind forward to today and 26% of 16-24 year old women report suffering at least one mental health issue a week. 9% of men suffer likewise. It is hard to know where to start.

The presents for baby with no name continue to flood in. Last week saw a box arrive from the colleagues of the Mrs who had taken time off from filling the empty minds of impressionable millennials with left wing nonsense, to send us some gifts. There were flowers and chocolates for the Mrs but nothing for me as I am a patriarchal white man who exposed himself as an evil capitalist in a lecture given to the students of the Mrs. For the baby with no name there was a balloon and a small teddy.

In the past few US General Elections older voters have swayed to the GOP and thus for Democrats to win they have to win big among the younger voters, the millennials, and until about a month ago Hillary was leading by almost 30 points with young voters. But that lead has collapsed and, in the latest LA Times poll, is now well into single digits which is a disaster for Crooked Hillary. In my eight reasons why Trump would win article of two weeks ago, the key to this collapse is made explicitly.

Nearly every conservative on this planet is rooting for Donald Trump against Crooked Hillary this autumn. Those of us who loathe the self proclaimed elite, the establishment of big business, the liberal media, the career politicians, Goldman Sachs and Monsanto, the crony capitalists, the bailout junkies are even more likely to back Trump...after all just look where Clinton's funding comes from. And thus as a conservative who rails against the establishment it is no shock that Nigel Farage of UKIP is backing The Donald and turned up at a rally last night. One "conservative insurgent" supports another: and you are surprised? What was even more predictable were the social media whinings of the liberal whingers.

This is self explanatory and very funny. Don't you despise the self righteous young people who #MarchforEurope ? If you do you will love this.
