I had explained about the Oracle to young Joshua, take to your wooden walls and all that. But what fascinated him about Delphi is the man he terms “my great, great Uncle” that is to say David Cochrane. I have covered his death in 1931 many times here and his portrait hangs in our kitchen back at the Welsh Hovel.

45 years of family pain comes to an end at 11 PM tonight. But the Mrs has hidden the EU flags i was going to burn. I shall make one out of paper for my bonfire. Pictures later. In today’s podcast I also look at French Connection (FCCN), Toople (TOOP) and Oracle (ORCP)

Dickhead of the decade George Monbiot of the Guradian has a book to plug and is all over the radio. Oh, which decade you ask? Every decade. Anyhow I have swapped emails with Jim Mellon on this as it concerns his company Agronomics (ANIC) which really interests me. I think today;s interims show the shares, at 9.25p are expensive but at a lower level there is a case for buying as I explain. I also look at Oracle (ORCP), correcting an error I made yesterday, Lekoil (LEK), Lamprell (LAM) and urge you to start donating to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Under its old management led by John Wisbey, Lombard Risk Management (LRM) used to make profits and pay dividends. How fucking old hat and boring is that? Think like a millennial and get the cashburning vibe, that is the way forward and who better to do that than a man fired by Oracle (yet who boasts about his Oracle career ) & who was at the helm of a spectacular dotcom disaster, Phil "Interx" Crawford. Interims today score straight 10s for bullshit headline blather. But look at the hidden cashburn, extrapolate and panic.

Phil "InterX" Crawford is still to answer the question of the circumstances of his departure from Oracle. Meanwhile there are increasing questions about yesterday's £8 million rescue bailout, in addition to the ones posed HERE. Lets start with that profits warning on 19 April.

The trainwrecking of Lombard Risk Management (LRM) by Phil "InterX" Crawford continues apace with another bailout placing. The funds managers, it seems, cannot get enough of Phil because the fund managers are too young to remember the InterX scandal, because someone has airbrushed that scandal from google history as revealed here and because of Phil's glittering career at Oracle of which he always boasts. Really Phil?

I am in a good mood. Why am I in a good mood? I do not know.. But I am. And thus I am well set to be beastly to everybody but I think that I have just managed a whole podcast without swearing. Let's put that down as a first but not a precedent. On this edition I discuss oil prices and Max Petroleum, Afren, Igas and Gulf Keystone. What does blood on the streets mean for this sector. I look at Scholium, Oracle Coalfields and also why I am right to be bearish and Comrade Malcolm Stacey is wrong to be bullish about equities.
