I start with the IRA man who is hopping mad at me yet again. Then I look at how the whole political/media class should be in the dock in the Covid enquiry as they all called for what has caused our inflationary crisis. Then it is Tingo (US:TIO), a detailed look at Audioboom (BOOM), Purplebricks (PURP), Versarien (VRS), Tern (TERN), Chill Brands (CHLL) and the regulatory threat to UK vaping. Finally, my last big Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks training walk this Sunday will be c22 miles. It will be very hot this weekend and I have a thirsty Irishman here for supper on Saturday so may be somewhat the worse for that on Sunday morning, so think of real pain ahead and leave the 93% who have not donated & meanie Magna Carta and make a donation HERE

Oh dear, Oh dear. More bad news from Purplebricks (PURP). It is enough to turn a man to drink and raises the very real spectre of shareholders not getting 0.65p in Q1 2024 but getting nothing at all. But I wonder if there may be one big winner from this disaster.
If so, and it concerns the Chill Brands (CHLL) expose earlier HERE, drop me an email. Then I turn to Avacta (AVCT) and my earlier comments HERE. Then it is onto Supply@ME Capital (FRAUD), Cineworld (CINE), Amigo (AMGO) & Purplebricks (PURP), four horseman of share price madness. Then onto the impending collapse of Wildcat Petroleum(WCAT) and to Fusion Antibodies (FAB). Finally I might even have to show a picture of Brokerman Dan’s grots if you do not donate HERE

I start with domestic woes and legal opinion on the claims of the IRA man. In the main body of today’s podcast I look at Purplebricks (PURP) and the role of Neil Woodford and Link. I cover Microsaic (MSYS), Deepverge (DVRG), Pantheon Resources (PANR), Asimilar (ASLR), Argo Blockchain (ARB) – placing at 6p?. I also relay the thoughts of the world’s greatest living expert on musicMagpie (MMAG) and why it is doomed. If you hurry and book a seat at Sharestock – where less than a third of seats are still free - you can meet the expert, who was also a great Quindellologist – on September 23. You can book HERE

Oh dear, oh dear. Shares in the online estate agency Purplebrcks (PURP) once traded at more than 500p as Neil Woodford filled his boots (with other folks cash) and commentators such as the shop worker Paul Scott gushed about how disruptive the cash guzzling company that ripped off its customers by taking payment even though most properties were not sold, was going to be. Today the business, nearly all the assets (bar £5.5 million of cash) and the liabilities are being sold for just one quid to SPV Strike. What will shareholders get? If they are lucky 0.65p in Q1 2024.

I start with discussing how my late Dad would have been fired had he still been a lecturer at Warwick University today. I am sure that I’d be getting a P45 in the corporate world in the wake of a new survey on workplace alcohol use. Then I move onto Frisby, a star speaker & also singer at ShareStock 2023, and Argo Blockchain (ARB), Versarien (VRS), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and in depth lessons from today’s collapse at Purplebricks (PURP), one I did get right. I also discuss the weather and, in that vein, urge you to donate to a great cause HERE.

Neil Woodford and Thirsty Paul Scott took the knee at the disruptive potential of online estate agent Purplebricks (PURP). In latter years the deadwood press blew smoke up the arses of the CEO and CFO as they were both women. Girl Power! More ESG vicar? Of course, the numbers never stacked up and the fundamental business offering was dire so shareholders and customers both got screwed. Those of us who do actually look at how a business runs and at hard numbers may be sexist old dinosaurs for doing so but we have another win. Today’s fess up from the birds in charge is grim.

I start with a slam dunk political bet in the wake of Donald Trump’s looming arrest – a clean sweep for the Republicans in 2024, as I explained a couple of weeks ago HERE. Then onto why house prices falling at the fastest rate for 14 years ( a misleading headline) are to be welcomed but not if you are long Purplebricks (PURP) or the housebuilders. Not that I’d necessarily go short either. Today’s ouzo is sponsored by Asimilar (ASLR). I also cover Genedrive (GDR) and the placing it will not ‘fess to although it is clearly underway. Then I look at Pensana (PRE) where yakking on about climate change and hiring stacks of lesbians from Islington seems not to have prevented a bit of a looming cash crisis. How, I wonder, do folks in London N1 describe a fat lady in a woke way? Hey Magna Carta, guess what I forgot to mention today? HERE is a clue

Oh dear. Oh dear. The words “strategic review” are always bad news. What they mean is “we are screwed will anybody buy us.” But let’s start with a lack of profits warning from Purplebricks (PURP) and, as ever, it is what it does not say that should worry the muppets who still own the shares.
I noted in yesterday’s bearcast how Purplebricks (PURP) must be due a lack of profits warning given the increasing slowdown in the number of UK residential property transactions. Some high profile rats, it seems, are not waiting for the ship to sink.

I struggle to remember why I should remember 2nd February. Then, with Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) shareholders again jamming my email in box with pointless emails, I squeeze in time to discuss Purplebricks (PURP), Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) where Lucian is – sensibly – adding to his short, Cineworld (CINE), Vast Resources (VAST) and the daft economically illiterate suggestions about extra windfall taxes for Shell (SHEL) and Centrica (CNA).
I start with macro economics and why I am so bearish on UK PLC. Then to Purplebricks (PURP) and the housebuilders in light of today’s shocking warning from the UK banks on mortgage lending prospects for 2023. Then Parsley Box (MEAL), Vast Resources (VAST) as the trap door approaches and Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO, Odey Asset Management and the FCA. I may be wrong about this but I’d like the FCA to have a butcher’s. Finally a big thank you from me on helping us raise all the money needed for the Woodlarks Christmas Grotto appeal.

Both Joshua and I are feeling dire so this is a very short bearcast covering Peel Hunt (PEEL) and the nomad/broker sector and Purplebricks (PURP), a zero after the latest housing data. Now back to bed.

In today’s podcast i discuss Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), Pantheon Resources (PANR), the residential housing market, Purplebricks (PURP) and the housebuilders and retailers in general, Sosandar (SOS), Joules (JOUL), Made.com (MADE) and Boohoo (BOO). I reference an articlle on greedy nurses and different types of averages and how they mislead HERE

After the shocker from RICS the other day, here, Rightmove’s (RMV) latest survey of the UK housing market makes for more grim reading. If you are still a shareholder in Purplebricks (PURP), which could not make money in the good times and so must now be spunking cash daily, why do you have a financial death wish?
There is no way that this turd can be polished. It is a turd for housing market bulls. The latest monthly survey from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) covering October is even worse than that for September which was itself pretty dire. Those seeing value in anything housing related shares ( Comrade Stacey?) need to take a reality check.

After that apology to most of the citizens of a nation that has turned Philistinism into an art form I discuss the Bank of England hiking base rates by 0.75%. Then it is onto ouzo man and Purplebricks (PURP) before I turn to two gold stocks that could now rocket by Christmas, Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI) and Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV). I own shares in both and both have two reasons for a dramatic near term re-rate. Then Trainline (TRN) where the outlook is not so bright.

I prepare for Halloween with pumpkin carving and soup today. Photos tomorrow. Sohail says he has given up on gold “experts”. I discuss this and then onto another area where there are a lot of “experts” who all talk their own book and it is the same one. I discuss house prices, volumes and stocks who I reckon will have a bad time includfing Purplebricks (PURP) which I expect to go bust in 2024, or possibly sooner

Eve Sleep (EVE) floated on AIM in May 2017 just two years after it started trading. It brought in Paul Pindar which had listed Purplebricks (PURP) the disruptor – no sniggering at the back – of estate agencies to help disrupt the world of mattresses which also needed disrupting. And Neil Woodford, whose funds owned 18% after an IPO which raised £32.8 million, was not the only fund manager who was made to look like a fool. Here is Luke Hakes of Octopus writing just after the IPO:

The title is self explanatory on all counts. I discuss Purplebricks (PURP), the housebuilders where comrade Malcolm Stacey is very wrong, Mothercare (MTC) maternity bras and a 0p endgame, Deepverge (DVRG) and finally Argo Blockchain (ARB) which needs to come clean NOW.
The latest RICS survey is utterly downbeat. Read its outcomes and you do not need to use complex spreadsheets to work out that a) Purplebricks (PURP) must be a zero as housing transaction volumes collapse and b) that shares in the housebuilders are heading only one way and that is due South. The survey is shockingly bad:

I start with a nasty shock my grandmother, Lesbia Cochrane, got in the late 1920s. This is relevant I suggest that a whole swathe of millenials could be getting a similar shock this year and that is one of many reasons why I pose the Boohoo (BOO) question. I look at its balance sheet, cashflows, shocking G (as in ESG) and find myself agreeing with ouzo man. Thewn the chart below and what it means for any company including Purplebricks (PURP) , getting some PR dictated puffery in The Times today, exposed to UK housing. Finally it is 12 days to ShareStock. I am off to mow the lawn for the tents next, book your seats HERE

I shall post photos in the next day or so showing me climbing a rocky and overgrown hill to a castle in the burning midday sun with my daughter Jaya on my back. I did the same three years ago with Joshua but managed better today. There is still life in this old dog. Then onto GSK (GSK) and Haleon (HLN). I ditched my Haleon shares today and explain why. Then I look at Revolution Beauty (REVB), ProCook (PROC), the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME), Cellular Goods (CBX) and in detail at Purplebricks (PURP).

As a Scottish Catholic, Lucian Miers will support Norway this Thursday. I think this is unwise, as we are sitting amongst the Northern Ireland supporters. I’ll have to explain to fellow members of the GAWA that Lucian is a Fenian, hence his sudden love-in with the land of Quisling. On shares, I look at Edenville Energy (EDL) and its new board member, Paul Ryan (remember him?). Then, I discuss Central Copper Resources, Cineworld (CINE), and Purplebricks (PURP), which, ceteris paribus, will go bust in a year.

First of all I ask that the 94% of you yet to donate to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks do so HERE so that we surge past 25% of target ( without gift aid) tonight. Go on. Then I look at Jubilee Metals (JLP), Restaurant Group (RTN),Purplebricks (PURP), Vast Resources (VAST), BT (BT.A) and the windfall oil tax and why the Tories have utterly lost the plot. Then at Genflow (GENF) and Nostra Terra (NTOG) and the massive scandal I exposed today HERE & HERE.

Though some bien pensants like Neil Woodford and top share blogger Paul Scott insisted that Purplebricks (PURP) was a long-term disruptor of the word of Estate Agencies. The reality was that it was a piss poor way to sell houses and a company that could only survive in a fizzingly hot housing market. Well guess what?

I was up well before the crack of dawn to take my pre-flight test and I passed, I discuss that, move onto MyHealthchecked (MHC), Wildcat Petroleum (WCAT), Tungsten (TUNG), ADM Energy (ADME) and finally Purplebricks (PURP), another fallen former fave of top blogger Paul Scott. It’s latest news really would turn aman to drink. But there is worse still to come.

What is a process issue when it is at home? It seems that Purplebricks (PURP) has discovered one in its lettings business which apparently has been going on for years. It refers to tenants and the deposits they must leave with landlords. The company says that “the communications process is now being corrected.” It also says that there is a financial risk.

No doubt this will be celebrated by many a moron as well as many a fraudster. Gabriel’s latest dossier is on Cassava (SAVA) on Nasdaq. It is compelling yet he has today been flamed by the Reddit crowd and Cassava shares are roofing it. What does this all mean? Purplebricks (PURP) shows why bears are forces for good. I discuss it. Then Acceler8 (AC8), Parsley Box (MEAL) and Metro Bank (MTRO).

When I read Purplebricks (PURP) CEO Vic Darvey prattling on about a solid platform to achieve longer term targets my mind immediately switches to thoughts of Cheryl Cole. I feel that I too offer an increasingly solid platform (boom boom) and I have my targets too. Liam Murray of Cairn looks after the ultimate Penny Dreadful, Catenae (CTEA). Then I return to Sarah Willingham’s NightJar and why she is destroying value for morons who pony up £6 million for the IPO on day 1. This is a scandal and Nomad Allenby should be ashamed. Then onto Purplebricks (PURP) before I look at Summerway (SWC) and why, whatever you pay you MUST buy its shares ASAP

I pray that Donald Trump and the fragrant Melania recover from Covid and unlike godless liberals who tweet about praying for things I do actually pray and to someone I believe in. The deadwood press, notably those on the left which, natch, also includes the woeful BBC, loves the chancellor Rishi Sunak. Thanks to his forest of money trees the UK will see a V shaped recovery, jobs will be saved and no-one will have to pay for a policy response to a disaster which was entirely self inflicted: the mad lockdown. Of course, you and I know this is all tosh.

Since warning you not to be short as the market almost bottomed it has been painful for those who ignored my advice. But I sense that a few opportunities may be opening up again. There is something Orwellian in the way that our Government makes statements about the Corona economic mess it has created with its non-sensical policies, the MSM parrots them and then as a nation we are expected, when not applauding the NHS or snitching on our neighbours for having two walks a day, to repeat and accept. And so we are told that the housing market is “opening up again.” And that swift action in getting housebuilders back to work & allowing estate agents to go to back to lying to buyers and sellers alike, will protect the nation’s favourite obsession, house prices.
1653 days ago
I start with the economic mess the Government has landed us all in. Will 25% of small businesses go bust or just 13% and who is going to pick up the tab? Then it is onto Purplebricks (PURP), Tern (TERN), Mosman (MSMN) and Bidstack (BIDS) where time is almost up, the Fat Lady is surely gargling now.

We have warned about this Neil Woodford dog so many times. Now, you may find this tasteless but I suggest that no-one in their right mind would actually buy a house right now as the grim Coronavirus reaper stalks this land. Do you want to have to sell your place with all sorts of strangers wandering around touching door handles, or more likely no-one wandering around? And why buy now when the grim reaper may well be freeing up a stack of houses and flats to come onto the market as a glut from anytime soon? Who has enough income security to take on a mortgage these days? This begs the question of when exactly will Purplebricks (PURP) go bust. Here is the maths.
1710 days ago
I had a long chat with Lucian Miers who is right now in Cambodia ( cue cheap Gary Glitter jokes from morons on ADVFN). We discussed coronavirus and the state of the markets. What to buy in the FTSE 100 and his shorts: De la Rue (DLAR), Versarien (VRS), Easyjet (EZJ), IQE (IQE), Apple, Tesla and Purplebricks (PURP) and also the ethics of bailouts and what Governments will be allowed to do., I also comment on Finablr (FIN) and panic selling in Big Sofa (BST)

I look at IP Group (IPO), Purplebricks (PURP), Premier African Minerals (PREM) and Bidstack (BIDS) wondering if it will serve up its overdue warning after hours tonight? Finally there is a plea on behalf of my cats.

Thank heavens the election is less than a week away. In just ten days those hapless cretins most of whom could not get a decent job in the private sector and who show that politics really is showbiz for ugly people (and liars, knaves and halfwits) will be off our screens and we can all think about important issues like Christmas. Until then there will be reams of comment from the media and City “experts” on how to position your finances. Don’t bother to read it…

I have always believed that Purplebricks (PURP) stiffs both staff and customers and that is why it will eventually ru out of cash so stiffing shareholders too. This video below validates my thesis with a former employee giving hard numbers on that stiffing, a true whistleblower. Enjoy.

For a company that will have net current assets of somewhere between SFA and £30 million by Christmas and which will again burn cash this year the valuation of Purplebricks (PURP), £314 million at 103p, is bonkers. In light of that I revisit full year numbers from Wednesday and ask you to consider a stack more red flags.
1982 days ago
Purplebricks (PURP) screws a large minority of customers by taking a fee and then failing to sell their property. As it burns its cash, shareholders are getting screwed too. To complete the hat-trick it seems that it is also screwing its staff. Just look at the employee reviews below. This is not, I suggest, a recipe for success.

Well what’s not to like about the latest pot-pouri of bad news from Purplebricks (PURP)? I start with the basic premis that a company that screws both staff and customers will, in the end, come a cropper and – Purplebricks is such a company. Only an arrogant buffoon such as Neil Woodford could fail to recognise that. So let’s start with the management change.
2020 days ago
Purplebricks (PURP) is notorious for sending fascist lawyers letters to folks who criticise it. But in the US libel laws favour free speech not heavy handed corporates keen to gag whsitleblowers. Ultimately a business model that is predicated on screwing both staff and customers is doomed to fail and I shall turn to the latest lack of profits warning from Purplebricks later today. However, for now, I inveite you do enjoy the world of Purplebrickssucks.com - read at your leisure and having done so I am sure you’d agree that only a true moron or Neil Woodford, would want to own shares in this company.

I look at Management Resource Solutions (MRS) as another red flag emerges for this insolvent piece of crap. I cover Westminster Group (WSG) run by loathsome swine Tony Baldry, Audioboom (BOOM), Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) and his other dogs and Purplebricks (PURP) in a Joshua interrupted podcast.

Two high profile sinners repenteth and the writing is now very firmly on the wall for Purplebricks (PURP) as it starts a year when it will almost certainly run out of money. The sinners: broker Berenberg and Britains's most conceited fund manager Neil Woodford.
2065 days ago
Britain’s most conceited fund manager, Neil Woodford, has been catching the Purplebricks (PURP) falling knife all the way down and, as at October, his funds owned 29.25% of the company and so he really can’t buy many more shares. And the problem is that no-one else out there is daft enough to throw good money after bad and thus the stock continues to head south. At 123.8p to sell the shares are almost back at the level of the most recent profits warning on February 21. That tells you that another warning, a full year one, is one the way.

I start with a brief discussion of my first longish Woodlarks training walk. 12 Miles done and dusted. As you consider my rather smelly feet please make a small donation to rogue bloggers for Woodlarks HERE. Then I look at Provident Financial (PFG) and mention BCA Marketplace (BCA) and Purplebricks (PURP) en passant before commenting on Malcolm Stacey's article of earlier on penny shares.

In today's podcast I discuss Lonmin (LMI) but more importantly why I'd not invest in any South Africa based company, Purplebricks (PURP), Telit (TCM), Dev Clever (DEV) and Optibiotix (OPTI).

You cannot say that this site has not warned you repeatedly. But some folks like Neil Woodford knew better. Britain's top share blogger (mornings only), Thirsty Paul Scott, was also a fan and we know how accurate his analysis is. I don't know about Scott but Woodford has been averaging down aggressively. Neil always knows better which is why he is worth £37 million a year. Today we have another high profile horror story for Britain’s most conceited fund manager & yet another shocker for the nation's thirstiest share blogger, with a truly shocking lack of profits warning. I shall explain below why this makes the target price 0p....it is enough to turn a man to drink.

I visited my local Estate Agent yesterday about selling the house of the Mrs here in Bristol. He is a clever, honest and experienced chap who has done TV work and who I've known for a a while. I relay his numerous tales of woe which, I think, are symptomatic of the wider market, whatever headline data we are fed. If I am right how do you play the dire times ahead on the short tack? I discuss house builders in general, Barratt (BDEV) - if I said Bovis in the bearcast I meant Barratt -, Purplebricks (PURP) and BCA Marketplace (BCA) in this bonus podcast.

I deal with the critics in turn. The former, a Christian, has me wrong, the latter, a knobhead, is an apologist for enablers of crime. I then look in detail at Purplebricks (PURP) and is inevitable descent to zero, and at the implications of the sad tale of African Battery Metals (ABM). Then it is onto Bonmarche (BON) blaming Brexit for its woes not the crass stupidity of the bird who runs this business of the wider macro picture which she fails to recognise could sink her business completely. I also comment on BCA Marketplace (BCA) and on the pre-Christmas plans of Joshua and myself for today, far more important than this stockmarket malarky.
2172 days ago
I prepare for Joshua's first meeting with Santa in 2018 and discuss that. I look at Telit (TCM) and its latest wholesale breach of AIM Rules. Why does FinnCrap (FCAP) not care? I ask when FinnCap will have its first profits warning. I look at Purplebricks (PURP), Mysale (MYSL) and Bilby (BILB).

In today's podcast I look at Purplebricks (PURP), Neil Woodford's cash woes, re BTG (BTG), MySquar (MYSQ), Fishing Republic (BUST), Bushveld Minerals (BMN), who's a naughty boy then Fortune?, Quadrise Fuels (QFI) and at Sound Energy (SOU) which even at 13p is a verry poor risk reward play.

This bearcast is prompted partly by news Purplebricks (PURP) is not telling you about and partly by Malcolm's buy note on Bovis (BVS) earlier and partly on some new housing data out yesterday. Suffice to say Purplebricks is in ever deeper merde, Malcolm Stacey is wrong and there really could be a big fall in UK house prices and volumes and it is just partly linked to Brexit. It is a pin and we know there is a bubble.

I start with that upon which we are all surely agreed. Theresa May's Brexit deal is awful, she has acted treasonously towards Ulster and she must go now. Then it seems that Wildes and I agree on one aspect of news from Falanx (FLX) - I discuss its news today. I move on to Totally (TLY), Debenhams (DEB), BCA Marketplace (BCA), Johnston Press (JPR), Purplebricks (PURP) and First Derivatives (FDP)

You could not make it up. Another week. Another Neil Woodford share support operation in the Mail on Sunday. I look at Woodford and wider issues he faces at The Times and Sunday Times and their shameful role in the MySquar (MYSQ) fraud and at Purplebricks (PURP) and the fundamental weakness in its business proposition that will ultimately sink it.

I start with fireworks with Guardian reading tossers in Clifton last night and end up with fireworks in NY19 and the US mid-terms. My analysis of a week ago, I largely stand by although recent polling data has been fascinating. In terms of shares I look at Victoria (VCP), MySquar (MYSQ), Accesso (ACSO), Air Partner (AIR) and Purplebricks (PURP)

I start with a reader request. I do as you wish. In this podcast I cover MySquar (FRAUD), ADVFN (AFN) and Totally (TLY) in the battle of the anorexic Ethiopian super model balance sheets, Avanti Communications (AVN), Purplebricks (PURP) and ripping off customers as a business model, and also Angus Energy (ANGS). Post bearcast I have just had a good chat with Tim Steer who has a book out soon. More on that when it is published.

I have been greatly distracted today. In part by some ludicrous piffle from Brokerman Dan, I explain why he is deluded. More importantly there is the growing sex and physical abuse scandal at my old school Warwick as I explained earlier today HERE. Today I have spoken to a second sexual abuse victim and been contacted by the new Head Master. Maybe something will happen. On the markets I look at First Derivatives (FDP), Angus Energy (ANGS), Purplebrocks (PURP) Totally (TLY) where Stevie Wonder could see that it is placing ahoy and Goldplat (GDP)

First things first - we have almost raised the £2,500 needed for the Woodlarks Christmas grotto. I am sure you can spare a fiver to get us over the line HERE. Secondly, I am in London tomorrow and on the warpath and hope to see many of you HERE. I was distracted today doing a radio interview with my friend and hero the great Kelvin McKenzie of "gotcha!" fame. That covered Patisserie Holdings (CAKE) and fraud and I continue with that theme. I also look at Superdry (SDRY), First Derivatives (FDP), Frontera (FRR) and Purplebricks (PURP).

Forgive a brief historic digression at the start of this podcast but I start with a history lesson for those misguided souls who think that SinnFein/IRA brought peace and happiness to Ireland. Then I look at some other tossers from Ulster, First Derivatives (FDP) and the 3Xs. I comment briefly on Purplebricks (PURP) and Versarien (VRS) then move via BCA Marketplace (BCA) to Neil Woodford. Then it is onto MySquar (MYSQ), Symphony Environmental (SYM) and on to UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) with a few words for Dominic Frisby on the nature of bitcoin and its bubble ahead of our bust up next week in London.

In 2017 Purplebricks (PURP) held its AGM on 29 September and pushed pout an H1 trading update on November 6. The news was not blisteringly good but enough lipstick was put on the dog to fool the sell side analysts. Wind forward 12 months…

If Neil Woodford wants to make a few friends, as I sense right now he has none at all, he should put his stock in Purplebricks (PURP) up for borrow. Then at least the bears would like him. Because right now there is almost no borrow and the cost of shorting this company is c25% per annum which is a real deterrent. If there was some borrow these shares would halve at once after today’s shockingly bad results.

The Canadian economy and housing market is tanking, in part thanks to the crackpot socialist policies of its preposterous PM Justin Trudeau. Dope is now legal thanks to the only PM in the world who makes Theresa May look half competent but if you lived in Canada you’d need to be on drugs. What better place & time to spunk £45 million on buying a cash guzzling estate agency? Step forward Purplebricks (PURP) keen to distract us all from what will be Godawful full year numbers announced later this week.

The 3Xs are the fraudbusters best friends. In this case it was one of Julie Meyer's 3Xs and a new source. we chatted for just under an hour. More to follow. Oh dear, poor Ms Lingerie on Expenses MBE. In the podcast I look at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Purplebricks (PURP), Frontera (FRR), FastJet (FJET), MySquar (MYSQ) - where I have again contacted John Meyer urging him to get off his fat arse - Andalas (ADL) and Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP). The good news is that sponsorship of the walk I'm doing with Brokerman Dan for Woodlarks is now, with gift aid, at almost £11,000. I look at why taking part in the Premaitha (NIPT) placing did not constitute insider dealing but make a suggestion as to how to change the way AIM placings take part. I look at what the Countrywide (CWD) statement means for Purplebricks (PURP) and at UK housing activity, at MySquar (FRAUD) where SP Angel continues to turn a blind eye to crime, at Avanti Communications (AVN), R4E (R4E) and at a new NEX float Tectonic Gold (TTAU) formerly Stratmin and why AIM turned it down and what message that sends to flip flop Ben Turney and Teathers (TEA). Perhaps not. The AFR reports:

In today's Bearcast I reflect that it is now just 6 weeks and 1 day to the great event. With gift aid myself and Brokerman Dan have now raised more than £8500 for Woodlarks. As I prepare for a 14 mile training walk this weekend please do sponsor me - I am sure you can afford to donate a tenner HERE. In the podcast I look at Orosur Mining (OMI) - down 48% today but still 90% overvalued - UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Kefi (KEFI) - where we own shares - RedstoneConnect (REDS), Purplebricks (PURP), Neil Woodford and Feedback (FDBK).

I noted in a bearcast last week that the lack of a year end trading statement from Purplebricks (PURP) as has in the past been its wont – was a bad sign. If it had any good news at all to mention after the profits alert in march it would have told us about it. Instead silence. Well a source close to the company say one bit of news it could have released is, er more bad news.
2358 days ago
I start on a rather sad personal note. Then it is onto Purplebricks (PURP) and the missing FY trading statement. Does that mean that the great day of a big de-rate looms? I look at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) in light of today's scoop, at Strat Aero (AERO) where if you look at the real maths the current ramp has created a joke valuation, at the People's Operator (TPOP) which should be sent to Dignitas and finally at IQE (IQE) where I ask if a profits warning is imminent? 5% of Bearcast listeners have donated to the Woodlarks charity walk but 95% have not! . We are now at 26% of our £20,000 target. As I prepare for a step up in my training walks tomorrow - pushing Joshua for 7.5 miles - to those who have donated I say thank you. To the rest, I know you can afford a tenner - think of me training and cough up now HERE

The UK regulators seem loathe to take action but having been fined last month for misleading customers in Australia it seems that Purplebricks (PURP) is in the soup once again down under. Why don't UK authorities take action too asks Chris Wood in his cracking UK Investor Show video out today HERE. Meanwhile the AFR reports:

This may say Minoan on the video but it is not. Yet another P45 for Darren Atwater. Instead it is Cornish Estate Agent Chris Wood who has disregarded two bully boy lawyers letters and blows the lid on Purplebricks (PURP).

Cornish Estate Agent Chris Wood has exposed numerous of the sharpish practices employed by Purplebricks (PURP) on his own blog and we have republished his incredibly detailed analysis HERE. Only kidding! Death Wish, which is not, as you might think, hapless Mayor Khan's new tourist promo video for London, is not out until Friday. In days gone by Britain's most conceited fund manager Neil Woodford would have noted how shares in Purplebricks (PURP) have slumped from 440p to c300p in just over three weeks and because Nomates always knows better than the market he would have topped up his holdings. But cash is a tad tight for Neil so he has not done so yet. Maybe he will indeed extend his fund's overdraft and catch another knife? But why are the shares tanking. I suggest you ask RICS.

In today's bearcast I start with a reader complaint but then he is a tosser so who cares? Then it is onto looking at the differences between the funding facilities at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and MySquar (MYSQ). I am bearish on both but the differences in the two packages are instructive. I look at Nature Group (NGR), Jim Mellon's uber-ramp FastForward (FFWD) and at Purplebricks (PURP) is the Neil Woodford bubble about to burst again, as even former supporters like Paul Scott admit my analysis was right and theirs wrong.

As predicted here at the weekend Nasdaq listed Irish biotech Prothena (US:PRTA) is suffering a bloodbath today following the shock after hours resignation of its CMO on Friday. Today's bad news for Britain's most conceited fund manager, Neil "Nomates" Woodford is a savage note on Purplebricks (PURP) by broker Jeffries setting a 94p target as you can see HERE. I discuss why this target could be too low or could be far too generous but the shares are certainly a slam dunk sell. I look at IQE (IQE) in light of Matty Earl's bombshell note HERE. There is comment on Online BlockCrap (OBC) and a look behind the headline numbers and the turd polishing which shows why Mobile Streams (MOS) is so deep in the unpolishable merde

Purplebricks (PURP) shares continue to tumble despite it attempting to attack a damning report out late yesterday from broker Jeffries which claims to show that the company may have been lying. The Purplebricks response , a denial, simply does not convince.

I'm not entirely sold on the validity of Google Trends data, not least because the top result when you enter the search term "Purplebricks" is generally not the Purplebricks (PURP) website. In fact, the Purplebricks website is generally quite a long way down the list. That's just because other companies are paying up for the search term, perhaps attempting to leverage the company's highly successful (and controversial) TV advertising campaign. However, I pulled together a few of the trends, by geography, over time in the hope it might show something, and I think these graphs should raise a few concerns for the bulls.

He has not, as he said he would, got back to me to clarify his confused position. I urge you to read Nigel's AIQ expose today as it is most excellent. I discuss Haike Chemical (HAIK) and why it is by definition a bad company as is - as per today's article here - Purplebricks (PURP). Bravo AllAgents.co.uk. The leading independent review site of Estate Agents is ignoring fascist lawyers letters from Purplebricks (PURP) and has just re-started publishing reviews of the crummy online estate agent, good and bad. Natch Purplebricks is still insisting that the reviews are bogus without providing any evidence at all and boy are some of the reviews bad as you can see below. In the end companies offering a socking service will - however much they spend on TV advertising - go under. Purplebricks shares remain a stonking sell.

I am rather disappointed in the management of the UK's leading independent review site AllAgents.co.uk - they have let us all down. They sought to raise £50,000 to allow them legal support against fascist lawyers letters from Purplebricks (PURP) which demanded bad reviews be taken down.

I have already donated to the crowdfunding appeal of AllAgents.co.uk but will make another donation today. And I ask that you consider doing so to and encouraging others to chip in. To be fair, just a month and six days after launching in the USA Purplebricks (PURP) appears to be gaining some traction. Already it lists 1,460 apartments for sale in Los Angeles so folks are at least using it. Perhaps they like the claims made on the website Purplebricks.com?

Yesterday I flagged up the crazy valuation of Doorsteps.co.uk and how, egged on by some misleading marketing, it had managed to raise large sums on crowd funding website Crowdcube. Thus it now has cash - which it will burn fast on its flawed business model - but which will put even more pressure on prices and volumes at Purplebricks. Sadly it is not an isolated case. Meet I Am The Agent Limited.

I apologise to another Anglo-Irishman for the misquote. The advertising watchdog the ASA has for the fourth time in 18 months slammed Purplebricks (PURP) for lying to potential customers. Let's bve clear: companies with a good product can afford to tell the truth. Natch Purplebricks says it has changed its adverts and there is nothing to worry about. But that is on just two days data....
2592 days ago
Yesterday I discussed Doorsteps.co.uk which claims that it will flog your house for £99. I now look more closely at its history and the utterly shameless way that Crowdcube raised £400,000 for it; at the fact free and unquestioning BJ's its 19 year old founder has received from Fleet Street and speculate about how bad its metrics really are. That it has raised cash so easily is bad news for Purplebricks as it is now funded to nibble at its market share and so will be others until they all go bust. But it will be too late for Purplebricks by then. I then have hot gossip on Telit (TCM) which shows up the FT's dictation from PR men taking hacks for the fools they are and reinforces the shorting case big time. I cover UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and Conroy Gold & Natural Resources (CGNR), both need to place ASAP and in both cases it will be ugly. I also remind you again what UKOG is NOT saying.

Will Purplebricks (PURP) ever generate real profits from its UK Business? No. I have noted before that its business model is flawed and one reason is the race to the bottom on pricing. Meet the UK's 18th largest estate agent, Doorsteps.co.uk, and flog your house for just £99.

I flagged up at the weekend why Neil "nomates" Woodford might be just a couple mmore high profile disasters away from disaster in terms of a flood of redemptions. Well it appears that some are not waiting for the implosion of Purplebricks and another Woodford car crash.
2596 days ago
The red flags are obvious. The business model is one that could blow up with the asset bubble that has created it. Even in a best case scenario the valuation is absurd. Oh and Neil Woodford is a major investor. Need I say more. After Purplebricks (PURP) which is a nailed down zero, this is my number 1 short for the Autumn.

Yesterday we ran the gutsy response of Estate Agent Chris Wood to a fascist lawyers letter sent by Schillings on behalf of Purplebricks (PURP) in an attempt to gag him. We are not afraid of the wankers at Schillings having seen them off before when they tried to gag me on behalf of the fraudsters at Quindell (QPP). So let's hear more from heroic Chris. Below he explains why a LPE is certainly not always an E and the idea of portal juggling. Anyone owning these shares is bonkers or Neil Woodford or both. Over to Chris....
2604 days ago
Having received a fascist lawyers letter from heavyweight lawyers Schillings myself I know that it can be quite intimidating. Mine (HERE) was on behalf of the fraudsters Quindell (QPP) and I told Schillings that I would "see you in Court bitchez." I knew Quenron would not dare go through a disclosure process. Estate Agent Chris Wood is armed with the same knowledge and has thus responded robustly to a missive on behalf of Purplebricks. I have chatted to Chris at length today and, as someone convinced, that Purplebricks is a zero I am happy to republish the missive from Schillings and the response of Chris which adds mountains of evidence to the fact that Purplebricks is a can of worms which is spending ever greater sums trying to gag critics with fascist missives from expensive lawyers. Over to Chris:

This website has never been a great supporter of Concha (CHA) but the Chris Akers vehicle has today announced an investment which shows you that Purplebricks (PURP) is heading for oblivion. Its "disruptive" business model is going to get disrupted and here is one reason why.
2616 days ago
I start off with a cheque received for 29p. Then as we see the Purplebricks (PURP) share price start to melt I look at hard maths and explain why the shares will collapse from here. I look at the Rose Petroleum (ROSE) placing, misleading comments from worthless crap Strat Aero (AERO), dismal interims from shamed lifestyle company Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP) and then at Intelligent Energy (IEH) which looks like a zero in waiting.
2619 days ago
An eagle eyed reader flags up another matter relating to Neil "nomates" Woodford's next disaster, that is to say Purplebricks (PURP) which, in light of the latest shocking revelations today, is a zero in waiting as I explained HERE.
2619 days ago
Let us be clear: Purplebricks (PURP) is not a fraud but today's publication of customer reviews - that Purplebricks is desperate for you not to see - is damning and suggests a business model that is based on taking £1000 from large numbers of "customers" who get nothing in return. That is not sustainable and is why the shares are worth 0p. The Sam Antar reference is about how Purplebricks responds and that, in turn, will determine the speed of its collapse. That it will collapse is a given.
2619 days ago
These are the genuine reviews on AllAgents.co.uk that Purplebricks (PURP) has attempted to ensure that you do not see by sending threatening lawyers letters as we exposed yesterday. As you can see they are dynamite and show quite clearly a flawed business model which sees customer after customer ripped off. Word of that is spreading which is why this company will NEVER make a profit and will sooner or later run out of money and go bust. The shares are a sell at 380p - target price 0p. Now read on and wonder why folks like Neil "nomates" Woodford and Roger Lawson want to own these shares... PS If Purplebricks wants to threaten me to remove these posts I will take great pleasure in seeing the bitchez in Court.

Earlier I revealed how the UK's largest independent reviewer of Estate Agents had blocked Purplebricks (PURP) after it threatened legal action if Allagents.co.uk continued to carry reviews of its shoddy services which were anything other than flattering - 71 (half) of the reviews were bad and Purplebricks demanded they be removed. Now Allagents has upped the ante with a formal statement which reads:

With 300,000 reviews, AllAgents.co.uk is the UK's largest independent site for independent reviews of Estate Agents by Customers. It has just taken the unprecedented step of not allowing Purplebricks (PURP) reviews because the AIM listed company was trying to "game" the system by using fascist lawyers letters. That tactic has now backfired in a spectacular fashion.

A questionable business model, shocking revelations on Watchdog, very murky management CVs exposed HERE, a complete lack of profits, a sky high valuatione, endorsements from shareholders "nomates" Neil Woodford and Roger Lawson as well as being tipped in the Godawful Midas Column in today's MoS- what could possibly go wrong for Purplebricks (PURP)? To justify its most recent keep the lights on fund raise it had to promise a new expansion strategy. And so on Friday it announced a US Launch. Natch it starts off with patently bogus internet reviews as you can see below. The Yanks are so dumb they will not notice will they?

Okay I have called the top before but the house price crash is underway. I explain why and it involves cutting off the supply of dodgy foreign buyers in London, changes in Buy to Let Tax and new costs for landlords, it involves external shocks and an over-borrowed British consumer. It is already underway and this crash will be brutal. I look at what to invest in and what to short. I do a short section on Purplebricks (PURP) which is one of THE top stocks to short in the UK.
