I’m biased as RMPC owns stacks of these shares. So please take that caveat on board but here is a pretty comprehensive note on Optibiotix (OPTI) from Investor’s Champion which – I think – explains why you should be so excited about this stock.

Lets be upfront, RMPC owns this shares and since I often say that all brokers notes are worthless piffle I cannot make an exception here. However broker Hybridan has initiated its coverage of Optibiotix (OPTI) with a very bullish assessment indeed.

As I noted in my ten macro themes for 2015 article (HERE) the analysis that Steve Moore and I serve up is bottom up – that is to say company specific – not so much macro driven. But the odd macro think session establishes useful tramlines for the investment process. My first, second and third share tips for 2015 are already live and so onto Number 4.
This is not the classic value proposition that Steve and I normally go for. I admit that it is speculative but should say that for reasons I cannot quite work out it is the largest equity holding in RMPC’s modest portfolio. Well one reason is that the shares have done jolly well. We tipped Optibiotix (OPTI) at 8p on the HotStockRockets website a couple of months ago. It is now 17.25p-18p. This is definitely one to buy at up to 20p and I reckon we will see 30p before very long.
The company is a play on obesity and related issues, something at the front of my mind having just enjoyed my third Christmas meal with Christmas pudding in 4 days.
OptiBiotix has, already during its brief six month life on AIM,

At RMPC we normally pay staff in the last week of the month but in December we will pay my heroic colleagues on the 15th or thereabouts. Nearly all companies pay staff early in the festive month so that they can pay for the vile consumerist event that Christmas has become. I am sure Quindell staff were paid early in 2013 as the company had just completed a £200 million placing. But what about 2014?
We know that in Q3 Quenron

RMPC is a private company and so feels no need to report bogus profits to ramp its shares like er…Quindell (QPP). It will make no difference to the fate of Quindell (insolvency) whether RMPC survives or fails. But since some utter moron (Goldust88 from the LSE Asylum) has posted highlights of our August 31st 2013 accounts raising six red flags about me, which other cretins have plastered on other asylums, I might as well respond.
I start with the post of the moron in full. And I answer in podcast format. As you will see he not only talks bollocks but shows such profound misunderstanding of basic accounting & tax law that her demonstrates why he is destined always to lose money on shares.

This is not a share tip as we would like to be free to buy and sell this stock as and when we want but I can disclose that RMPC has pumped a five figure sum into Ducat Ventures (DUC) shares in which resumed trading today as it announced what looks an interesting RTO.
This is the latest play by company rescuer Adam Reynolds. The name will change to Optibiotix Health and there will be a 200 for 1 share consolidation. At the placing price of 0.04p the market cap is £5.7 million and net cash is £3 million with the free float (former shareholders of Ceres Media) – I guess c £200,000 at the placing price.
The shares are now 0.04-0.05p
Full details of the deal are HERE

I have a routine when I go up to London. Stay up until late. Go to bed. Set the alarm for 3.46 AM and that gives me 40 minutes to shower, shave, dress, pack and download from the web all that I need to write offline on the 4.47 AM from Bristol Temple Meads to Paddington. With a bit of luck I will have four or five articles to load when I reach Real Man at 6.45 AM.

Just a public note to Darren Atwater and Martha Gall who tonight are celebrating their first wedding anniversary. Given that Darren works out of RMPC three days a week they are not celebrating with us in Clerkenwell. Darren was the second (of six) RSH employee to leave and come to work with me (Steve Moore won the gold medal) and a good friend in good times and bad. He mucks in at RMPC donning a waiter's outfit when needed. But he is really the brains behind www.shareprophets.com. Apparently Martha's parents are delightfully right wing and their opinion of the son-in-law soared when they started reading this blog and realised who he worked with. To two of London's three finest Canadians ( the Goddess is the third), The deluded lefty and I wish you a very relaxing and romantic evening.
