I start with football and a question from last night’s West Ham game about how society now views crime and criminals. Then onto the lessons from the collapse of Sensyne (SENS), the bastard child of Neil Woodford and sleazy Lord Drayson. I look at Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL) and at Bidstack (BIDS) as well as at Angus Energy (ANGS) and Sound Oil (SOU). Finally the odd case of NFT Investments (NFT) and the Bixby/Edwards/ Frangos/Storey/Peter Wall gang.

I start with Mr Moulding who must be a decent chap as he gives vast sums to that beacon of integrity that is the Conservative & Unionist party. I discuss today’s horrible statement from THG (THG).The incident should also see firings at the Mail on Sunday and Sunday Times but it will not. I look at Omega Diagnostics (ODX) as it rushes towards a single figure share price and at Guild e-Sports (GILD), still a joke, notwithstanding today’s statement. Finally i look at the Sound Energy (SOU) bids for Lord Lucan’s Angus Energy (ANGS) Will Lucan get any more lucky?

In today’s podcast, I cover Colin Bird’s latest pointless IPO, African Pioneer (ASP/AFP), Galileo Resources (GLR), Amigo (AMGO), Optibiotix (OPTI), Nightcap (NGHT), Catenae (CTEA), Powerhouse Energy (PHE), Sound Energy (SOU), the fraud Zoetic (ZOE), Harvest Minerals (HMI), and how proud I am of my garden.

Listener Matthew W writes to say how much he enjoys bearcast but has requested a bit more swearing as it entertains him while walking his dog. I made a mental note to swear a bit about the fecking purple windows or Amazon and the melted Easter Egg but I clean forgot. Sorry Matthew. Instead I discuss: Kefi (KEFI), AEX Gold (AEXG), Remote Monitored Systems (RMS), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) and Sound Energy (SOU).

I discuss day 5 of Joshua’s Advent calendar, companies worth more than £100 million with no or sod all institutional investors and what that means: ref Sound Energy (SOU) before the collapse I oft predicted and Powerhouse Energy (PHE) where the collapse is yet to come, and finally Nigel’s 5 slam dunk sells for 2020 where I fear he will end the year looking like a schmuck.

I start with more on the issue of sound quality and an explanation as to re-recording yesterday and other issues. I hope we do better today. Then I look at Eurasia Mining (EUA), Mirriad Advertising (MIRI), Hurricane Energy (HUR), Sound Energy (SOU) and Verditek (VDTK).

I have been doing good work on the mystery of who my great grandmother really was. My great aunt, her daughter the actress Anna Lee, did some work, as you can see HERE, but I have gone a step further and have agreement to do a DNA test to solve the mystery once and for all. I discuss this distraction then Sound Energy (SOU), Optibiotix (OPTI), Cobra Resources (COBR) and 7 Digital (7DIG).

I have recorded a long Coronavirus podcast on my own website HERE. On today’s podcast on shares, I look at Versarien (VRS), Supply@ME Capital (SYME), Online Blockchain (OBC) and Sound Energy (SOU) and the sordid world of the whore blogger Malcolm Graham Wood.

Sorry this is late. I have been distracted by the mad world we live in so musing too much on www.TomWinnifrith.com and tomorrow Joshua and I try to bust out of lockdown Wales, like the – now erased from history – Dukes of Hazzard, to visit my Dad so limited copy from me then. Ahead of that I discuss Avacta (AVCT), Versarien (VRS), Sound Energy (SOU), Cineworld (CINE) whose managers I despise, and UK Oil & Gas (UKOG). Okay I am not firing Darren tonight, you can now book your MineProphets tickets HERE

Pity those who bought shares in Sound Energy (SOU) at well over 80p at peak ramp. Luckily for him, the chief ramper James “Dracula” Parsons sold most of his stock while urging others to buy, as the shares now trade at just 1.11p to sell, valuing this company at £12.5 million, which is far too high. By about £12.5 million in fact.
1626 days ago
Sound Energy (SOU) limps on. Dracula is still a consultant as the company tries to sell its main asset to a bidder which has no money. Without such a disposal – and I am sure you can spot the flow in this “cunning plan” – the company will be unable to pay its debts as they fall due and will almost certainly go bust. So, what of another hound in Dracula’s kennels, Echo Energy (ECHO), which reported its results today a headline loss of $10 million is pretty good going.

These days the Sound Energy (SOU) Shareholder Group (SAG) speaks for around 12% of the, almost certainly worthless, equity. As such it cannot be totally ignored by the discredited management and on Monday a 4 hour conference call with Graham Lyons, Chairman, and Mohammed Seghiri CEO is scheduled to take place at 10.30 AM. But what is the point?
1684 days ago
What are shares in Sound Energy (SOU) trading at today? 1p, 2p? I reckon this drowning in debt POS is worthless but only time will tell. It was not that long ago that shares in Sound traded at 90p. Not one institution bought as the stock headed to a £700 million market cap driven by obscene share ramping by the then CEO James Parsons, aided by some of the less scrupulous characters on the AIM scene.

Okay most listed oil stocks are heading for zero. You don’t need the brains of Cheryl Cole, sorry I meant Lloyd George, to realise that ceteris paribus most of the sector is fecked. But surely, Sound Energy (SOU), once valued at c£800 million, is toast and the last rites will be read soon.
1736 days ago
The Sound Energy (SOU) shareholder action group now has more than 300 members and speaks for 9.5% of the, in my view, almost worthless, equity. At 10% it can call an EGM and seek to oust the board. And if you own any stock in the company I urge you to contact me at [email protected] NOW and here is why….

hey what better way to mark International Women’s day than to hear an overpaid BBC nobody interview someone who says she is “ A self-confessed believer in the human spirit, she is ‘ridiculously and overwhelmingly happy with the opportunities that she has to develop and how she can play into the amazing world that we live in.” Yup, you know who is back. Elsewhere in this podcast I discuss Versarien (VRS), whose Nomad DID resign, ValiRx (VAL), Sound Energy (SOU), Petra Diamonds (PDL), Novacyt (NCYT), Nostra Terra (NTOG) and Laura Ashley (ALY). I also ask you to be generous and give to a great cause today HERE

I have been contacted by an elderly academic who has written up the events of Virginia Woolf’s 1932 tour of Greece. She claims to have been in Delphi when they discovered the body of my great Uncle David Cochrane. I rather doubt it and discuss this a) because it fascinates me and b) to annoy No Gold. Then it is onto Predator Oil & Gas (PRD) – is it placing ahoy? Versarien (FRAUD), Eurasia (EUA), Ascent Resources (AST), Sound Energy (SOU) and James “Dracula” Parsons and finally uber dog Mosman (MSMN).
1742 days ago
Shareholders in Sound Energy (SOU) have lost more than 95% of their cash thanks to the appalling ramping and hype and value destruction of just one man…James Parsons. The Sound fiasco would kill off the careers of most CEOs but Parsons is like Dracula, he leaves one rotting corpse behind moving to suck the financial blood from a fresh corporate. Today’s victim is Ascent Resources (AST).

In today’s podcast I start with a bit of abuse for the welfare junkies of the Greece of the North as they enjoy yet another day of idleness. Then I look at G3 Energy (G3E), Nostra Terra Oil & Gas (NTOG), Sound Energy (SOU), Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG), Big Dish (DISH), RedX pharma (REDX) and Bidstack (BIDS)

A day of triumph at the Welsh Hovel sees me discuss Sound Energy (SOU) whose hand I forced last night with this article, Bidstack (BIDS) which has finally come, partially, clean about the mess it is in and Iconic (ICON) which has yet to ‘fess up to its woes but will do so soon. I also discuss one very good company, Optibiotix (OPTI)

I guess things are getting rather tight at Sound Energy (SOU). A source close to the situation tells me that former boss turned consultant James Parsons is trotting around the City trying to raise cash and telling folks he has just 48 hours to complete the bailout or it’s too late. So: what’s the price? It gets worse…

On Wednesday I revealed here how 174 shareholders in Sound Energy (SOU) had written to actong chairman Marco Famagalli with perfectly reasonable questions which he declined to answer because he views the peasants with contempt as you can see HERE. The group of livid owners of the company is now bigger, at 179 out of the money folks who Marco thinks are irksome oiks, and they have written again demanding the immediate sacking of ex boss the shameless ramper James Parsons. Thanks to Winnileaks I bring you that letter
1807 days ago
Those who ignored me and bought Sound Energy (SOU) at up to 92p are, with the shares at sub 3p to sell, livid with the company and also with James Parsons the former boss whose ramping of this stock was shameless and reckless. 174 out of the money investors have now written to acting chairman Marco Fumagalli with a series of questions which really should be answered. Mario responds with a limp dick “can’t say anything because of AIM Rules” e-mail which is, with reference to many of the questions posed simply not true and shows he does not give a flying feck about the owners of his company, regarding that as peasants without rights. Both letters have found their way to Winnileaks and are published in full below:

Yes that shameless promoter James Parsons of Sound Energy (SOU) infamy has a new stock to promote to the gullible. I discuss Sound and his new grossly overvalued POS Regency Mines (RGM). I also look at what was Strat Aero, Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) asking ,in light of today’s news, if it has committed securities fraud? Has hapless Nomad SP Angel of Mysquar (MYSQ) infamy asked to see management accounts for Geocurve from July to today? If not why not?

I discuss Malcolm Graham Wood and his analysis of Sound Energy (SOU), Versarien (VRS) and its need for a statement, Amur (AMC) and its latest silly statement, Big Dish (DISH) and the threat of a visit from the Sith Lord Zak Mir to the Welsh Hovelm Plutus Powergen (PPG) and Bonhill (BONH) and what its statement does NOT say.

Firstly so many thanks to all of you who donated to the Woodlarks Christnas Grotto appeal. 101% of our target has now been reached so I’ll call it a day. Thank you again. In today’s podcast I also discuss Big Dish (DISH), and Dev Clever (DEV) two examples of why you should never invest in an IPO and I have data to back that up. I look at Tern (TERN) and at Sound Energy (SOU), shame on James Parsons, and then in detail at Velocys (VLS).

Firstly, thanks to all who have donated to the Woodlarks Christmas grotto appeal. We are now at 57% of target, can the rest of you chip in today and get us there. Please donate HERE. In today’s podcast I look at the looming General Election, at a pathetic excuse from Hargreaves Lansdowne (HL.) for not commenting on Neil Woodford, at Sound Energy (SOU), the ramp du jour Euraisia Mining (EUA), at the scandals at Tern (TERN) and Big Dish (DISH) and what they say about the institutionally useless FCA and AIM Regulation and at the profits warning from Empressaria (EMR).

In today’s podcast I discuss the latest deranged rantings of Chris Frazer, the CEO of Sirus Minerals (SXX). The guy is a total knobhead, a man wheeling out the most lamentable excuses for his own failure. I also discuss a piss poor and incomplete trading statement from smug Sam Smith’s FinnCap (FCAP) and look at two AIM zeros in waiting: Sound Energy (SOU) and Funding Circle (FCH)

#BoycottHomeDepot is trending on twitter in the US. If you are in the land of the free I urge you to do the reverse. In fact go buy an extra hammer for me today. Then I look at Thomas Cook (TCG), Sound Energy (SOU), Eve Sleep (EVE), the woes of my old friend Jim Mellon’s SalvaRx (SALV), Union Jack Oil (UJO) and, in detail, at FinnCap (FCAP) whose results are out today. Mea culpa on Eve, it is actually worse…

In today’s bearcast I look at FinnCrap (FCAP and two of its rotten clients: Telit (TCM) and Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG), at vile greed at Attis Oil & Gas (AOGL) , formerly Mayan/Northcote and at the latest FRC sanctions for shoddy audit work by Delotte and audit partner Helen George. I look at Weald Basin news from IGAS (IGAS) and what it means for Uk Oil 7 Gas (UKOG) et al and at daft Sound Energy (SOU) rumours.

In today’s podcast I look at Union Jack Oil (UJO), Sound Energy (SOU), Westminster Group (WSG), PCG Entertainment (PCGE), Bluejay (JAY), why Nigel Somerville is, today only, wrong about Neil Woodford, Future (FUTR) and Staffline (STAF).

Once upon a time, with its shares at 82p, Sound Energy (SOU) was valued at c£500 million. But no institutions were backing it, this was just a ruthless private investor ramp. It worked but you cannot keep plates spinning forever and drill failures in Italy and Morocco brought the shares crashing down. Today there was a final kick in the gonads for the mug punters suckered in by CEO James Parsons and others.
2007 days ago
I warned folks time and time again that the valuation of Sound Energy (SOU) was a monumental joke as the shares were pumped up to a peak of 82p. But the savants of the Bulletin Board Moron community knew better and hurled back abuse. Today the shares are just 11.62p but that is still way too high.

In today's bearcast I bring you a hot rumour. The King of the spiv bucket shops Jon Bellis of Novum is apparently trying to raise £4 million at 10p for Anglo African Oil & Gas (AAOG). I look at Sound Energy (SOU), Andalas (ADL), delays in selling houses and in a similar vein what IFA's who have put clients into Woodford funds do next. I also look at Gear4Music (G4M) and director share buying which is a sell signal. I make a brief comment on Optibiotix (OPTI) and almost tie it in with a mother-in-law joke but resist the temptation.

That is apart from being shit investments? I discuss this with the latest news from Sound Energy (SOU) today. Habits die hard for public sector workers.

The Mrs tuned the radio and the awful BBC tortured me all morning reaching peak torture during Woman's Hour. It was strangely addictive. It is what Hell will be like when I go there on the day of judgement. Tearing myself away I look at Sound Energy (SOU), Highlands Natural Resources (HNR), TrakM8 (TRAK) and Imaginatik (IMTK)

Do you remember when shares in Sound Energy (SOU) were 80p+ and some commentators thought they would multi-bag from there? I warned you that this was a stock built on spinning plates and that, one day, reality would cause pain and misery for shareholders. That day is today, the shares are down by 29% at just 17p. But could it get even worse? You bet it could.
2227 days ago
I accept that there is stiff competition for the title of the most shameless ramper on AIM. But could James Parsons of Sound Energy (SOU) claim the title? I bring you a podcast below which is almost sordid. Sound is apparently a low risk ten bagger. Whatever. Parsons has a devoted following of Bulletin Board Morons who will, no doubt, lap it all up. At 38.7p the market cap is £407 million which is even more of a rum and coke than the podcast below.

I am bored bored bored but have a hot tip for you if you like gambling HERE. I report a rumour on Asiamet (ARS) and then discuss how I have been twitter blocked by the whore blogger Malcolm Graham Wood. Today's bearcast is slightly delayed by the LSE IT glitch but here goes as Joshua and I prepare for coffee with the fit young mums and then another training walk, this time with Joshua. In the podcast I cover UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Interquest (ITQ), Sound Energy (SOU) Feedback (FDBK), which wins bullshitter of the day award, and Frontera (FRR). Now, 5% of Bearcast listeners have donated to the Woodlarks charity walk but 95% have not! And we are now at 26% of our £20,000 target. Hooray. After this week's doorstepping and podcast special and the work back in Bristol this is a great day. I suspect it is game over and discuss the probable demise of Folli Follie. Never buy a stock on a PE of 1. Elsewhere I look at rumours concerning Nomad Northland, at Echo Energy (ECHO), the fraud MySquar (MYSQ), my letter to Julie Meyer HERE, Sound Energy (SOU), Westminster Group (WSG) - with its revolting chairman ex Tory MP Tony Baldry - and Frontera (FRR) and its latest pre placing ramp. "So who is this David Moyes?" Asked the Mrs after I said that he had been sacked. Surely not knowing who is the (now ex) manager of West Ham is grounds for divorce or at least a trip to Relate? I ponder what as a Republican I should do tomorrow before hoping that both sides lose the FA Cup Final. Then I turn to the looming cash crisis at Sound Energy (SOU) how my most excellent broker, Mr Antony Laiker, stopped me being a real tit and losing a packet on Interquest (ITQ), at Scotgold (SGZ) and at Carpetright (CPR).
2403 days ago
In this bearcast I look at Avanti Communications (AVN), Watchstone (WTG) and Sound Energy (SOU). The maltese Police were meant to have found Julie Meyer and dragged her to the Courts today where a company where she is the sole director faced criminal charges over unpaid wages. Have they found her or is she, as one Meyer-ologist tells me, back in the UK having skipped Malta midweek. If anyone has any information please feel free to get in touch.

Oh dear it is another bad day at the office for Neil Woodford. First up I answer the question posed by Cynical about the great man HERE. Then I look at the disasters one of which told a monstrous lie in its RNS today: Mereo BioPharma (MPH), Mirriad (MIRI) and Hvivo (DOG). Then I look at Concepta (CPT), shares in which we own, Nighthawk (HAWK) and its dead cat bounce and finally at uber ramp Sound Energy (SOU) and what a CPR based on 2D seismic really means, i.e. Jack shit.

Two days, two bull articles on IQE (IQE). It has worked and I have been goaded here is is why Malcolm Stacey is talking bollocks. I also reference the fraud Eden Research (EDEN) in this discussion on profit being a matter of opinion and that is why cash matters. I discuss why being a liar is bad news as a CEO ref Mkango Resources (MKA) then tease Andrew Monk and Richard Jennings about Gulfsands Petroleum (GPX) - their oil analysis as bad as their Syria analysis on this occasion. Then it is onto Flybe (FLYB) and a detailed discussion of the looming cash crisis and joke valuation at Sound Energy (SOU). I suggest SalvaRx (SALV) run by my good friend Jim Mellon faces a bit of a cash issue. Then I explain why I have cut my UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) target price to just 0.25p making it, at 1.125p, still a slam dunk sell. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. I am sure that having bought the duff Italian assets of Sound Energy (SOU), Saffron Energy (SRON) shares will be aggressively promoted when they return from suspension. All the usual suspects in team ramp are already making initial noises. But should we really get excited? The City's No 1 oil analyst, Zac "The Knife" Phillips of SP Angel thinks not and opines today:

I am in a bit of a rush today. The Mrs has all day meetings so it is just me and Joshua. That means we get an extra 30 minutes at the fit young mums coffee morning. But what do I say to a FYM? And what might she say back. That is clearly the big issue of the day. After that I look at MySquar (MYSQ) after Darren's meeting last night, at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) - placing at 2p? - Sound Energy (SOU) and Echo (ECHO) both slam dunk sells and similar to UKOG in many ways.I comment, en passant, on Renold (RNO) and the idea of pricing power and finally warn you that Telit (TCM) is indeed heading for 0p. And thank you for subscribing to ShareProphets. After 28 days we are within spitting distance of breakeven.

I have explained many times before why, on fundamentals, Sound Energy (SOU) is a slam dunk sell. Now watch this short promo video. This is pure unadulterated cliche ridden bullshit and, inadvertently, makes the bear case better than anything that I could write.
2607 days ago
I must rush. The fit young mums are waiting. Ahead of that, Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) really should comment on the weirdest rumour which I relay. Redcentric (RCN) answers one question but many remain. Then Sound Energy (SOU) hype takes the acid test of a trade sale of its Italian assets and the real value is exposed. Sound really is so much hot air. Finally a look at the CVA and rape of shareholders and creditors of Kin Group (KIN) by broker Peterhouse and the new, crony capitalist, directors.

We have warned you often enough that the valuation of Sound Energy (SOU) is que absurd even though the shares, at 55p, are well off 99p year highs. Still anyone not using today's "news" from Morocco as an opportunity to sell is nutso. Here is how a leading broker called it:

If you are listening to bearcast today you must have subscribed to Shareprophets so I thank you. I start with management who are cleary wronguns at Real Good Foods (RGD) which is a disgrace and at Papillion (PPHP) which is far worse - hat tip Cynical Bear HERE. I look at Interserve (IRV). Its shares are slumping on a profits alert but the real horrors are the lies in the August 9 results statement. Still valued at £124 million this could halve again look at debt! Then it is onto MySquar (MYSQ) a good bet for a zero, and finally a trio of oilies, Range Resources (RRL) - its au revoir not goodbye - Pantheon (PANR) dreary and overvalued by a reasonable amount and Sound Energy (SOU) where the valuation is a 100% rum and coke.

I am with my father and he enjoys being part of bearcast so here is another one off. We start on the use of language and its misuse something which Dad and I talk about a lot. Thus there was Theresa May referring to THE cricket. And a fellow Tory MP who used a word she really should not have used in a phrase with a clear meaning. many said the phrase was racist. It was not it is the word that is, rightly, just not acceptable. That brings me to Sound Energy (SOU), Amur Minerals (AMC), MySquar (MYSQ) and Bagir (BAGR). I leave Shipston tonight so no more father and son bearcasts, regular podcasts will be back in September.

Earlier in the week the disappointment was that the Italian Badile gas play had flopped. But at least the Moroccan excitement could allow James Parsons, the aggressive stock promoter who runs Sound, to keep the plates spinning. er...now we have news from Morocco. And it is more bollockese and not great news.

Shares in Echo Energy are off by 5% at 14.5p mid today on the back of the bad news on the drilling front from Sound Energy (SOU). But do they have further to fall? On fundamentals yes they do.

Some folks are just lazy fucks. The team round at PR crony capitalists Vigo Communications who charge an arm and a leg for spinning for Sound Energy (SOU) appear to be such folks, as they put together today's disastrous press release using cut and paste. It starts "Sound Energy, the African and European focused upstream gas company, is pleased to provide an update on the drilling of the Badile exploration well, onshore Italy.". With what followed I bet the ranch that Sound was anything but pleased. Hint: the shares have crashed by 30% to 54.25p in early trade.

My father is being charmed and buttered up by the quacks at Warwick Hospital and I am off there shortly for a pre operation chat. Ahead of that I look at Tesco (TSCO) and its fines today - we really have got white collar crime all wrong in this country. Then I look at Genel (GENL), Tasty (TAST) which is really not very tasty at all, Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) which is is utterly inedible and Sound Energy (SOU) where the issue is valuation. Surely the good news is in the price already?

I refer to young Steve's article earlier on the most shorted AIM shares. The fact is that most AIM shares cannot be shorted at all. There then follows a discussion on Sound Energy (SOU), Boohoo.com (BOO) and Telit (TCM). On a serarate note I look at LGO Energy (LGO). When the facts change what do you do?

In today's bearcast recorded with my father as the audience, here in Shipston, I start with the Autumn Statement which gets 0/10 from me. Then it is onto Sound Energy (SOU) and the issue of fund manager due diligence. Then Optibiotix (OPTI), FastJet (FJET), Mkango (MKA), African Potash (AFPO), Countrywide (CWD) and the global real estate asset class - yes a Manhattan penthouse and a terraced home in a grim Northern welfare safari slum are related!. Finally a few words about Paternoster Resources (PRS) and as a related issue New World Oil & Gas (NEW).

I will not be. As far as I can see the current market cap of £450 million is borderline insane and certainly not justified by the fundamentals. So I don't blame Sound Energy (SOU) at all for raising cash at this level. If folks want to pay up, the company would be crackers not to let them. But some will disagree.

Sound Energy (SOU) has today boasted that it has signed heads of terms for Euro 28.8 million of new bonds with a coupon of just 5%. Sound fantastic. Except that if you dig into the detail you will see that, in fact, Sound could get away bonds only at junk pricing with a related party. That tells you that its shares are a stonking sell.
