Yes, it is true. As part of our battle with the cost of living I have abandoned the use of firelighters in my wood burning stove which heats the living room here. Our Christmas guest left numerous copies of the Guardian which, at last, now serve some useful purpose. Then there is the Christmas wrapping paper.

Hell I voted for her, something for which I must again apologise for to everybody else in Wrexham, but surely that merits a personal visit. It seems as if Wrexham Athletic is here in the last village in Wales tonight. At the school gates M, a fellow young mum who is a true libertarian as is her husband D, greets me with the news that flyers are out saying Atherton will be “door knocking” tonight. M says that D has a few words for our MP in this red wall seat and one suspects that Ms Atherton will not enjoy that monologue.

She is not for the avoidance of doubt, the 4th Tory MP in as many weeks finding themselves in a sex scandal. I am not allowed to say who the latest one, an alleged rapist, is but five minutes digging on the internet will let you know who it is. Sarah Atherton’s shaming is all to do with football.

I have already apologised to the people of Wrexham for being one of those voting in Tory Sarah Atherton as our MP, in a seat Labour had held since 1935. If I could cast my ballot again, I would. To make amends, as Ms. Atherton serves up ever more reasons why she is unfit to be the town dog catcher let alone our MP, I shall chronicle her idiocy and sheer wretchnedness here. To make this manageable, I shall write up only her most horrific announcements. Today’s tweet on Afghanistan passes the test. Gosh she is despicable.

I have already apologised for, in 2019, supporting Ms Atherton, a careerist lady who deserves unemployment in four years time. I have asked her on Twitter if she endorses what you can see below and natch’ she will not reply. Yet again we see Policemen (or in this case women) drunk on emergency Covid lockdown powers and behaving in a way we thought we would be never see in Britain. North Wales Police you are a disgrace.

My local MP Sarah Atherton has penned a column in the local free magazine here in Wrexham. I shall tonight, ignore every single advertiser in the publication and burn my edition of Essentials Magazine, something I will now do every month until this wretched woman loses her seat. And now for that apology

There is a new poll out today which shows that the red wall is collapsing. A year ago in traditionally Labour seats like Wrexham, where I live, the Tories were on 48% with Labour on 39%. Now Labour leads by 47% to 41%. Of course, there are four years to the next election but MPs such as the ghastly Sarah Atherton, in these parts, should see that the writing is on the wall. Like so many folks here in Wrexham handed P45s thanks to insane lockdown policies – supported by silly Sarah –, folks like Ms Atherton will themselves be encountering a P45 in due course.

As you can see below, my dim local MP reckons that 39% of violent crime is caused by booze and that alcohol is one of the “driving forces” of domestic violence. And thus Sarah Atherton is all in favour of banning those committing crimes from gaining any access to the sauce altogether. This, she claims, will stop re-offending.

The army is there so that if our nation is threatened, they can go and kill the bad guys. I don’t care who is in the army, just so long as they are folks who I can rely on to go and kill bad people. That is why we have an army. It is not there as a decorative force to mirror society. Only fruitcakes on the left worry about quotas. Do we really need 0.2% of soldiers to be transgender and 2% to be LGBT? Or do the gays not matter in this game and we should only focus on women soldiers and those from ethnic minority backgrounds? And why pick on the army and not other public sector bodies? Surely we have a right to know how many gay and lesbian dustbin operatives there are? From what I gather, that sector is mostly entirely male. Why is that? Where is the gender equality in dustbins?

I am gravely concerned about the soft loan given to Versarien (VRS) by Innovate UK. It seems to me that rules have been broken and taxpayers cash should not be used in this way. I have, therefore, written to my local MP here in Wrexham, Ms Sarah Atherton, asking her to raise this with the minister responsible, Alok Sharma as soon as possible. I urge you to copy this letter below, adapt it for your local use, and contact your MP too urging him or her to act on this matter at once..

The latest tweet from my local Tories just pushes me too far. These folks live on another planet. I start by discussing the tweet below and why it makes me so angry. The bosses at Escape Hunt (ESC) should be, like Sarah Atherton MP (Con), be sent to the gulags of Merthyr Tydfil and I explain why. I look at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Red Rock Resources (RRR), Power Metal Resources (POW) and Versarien (VRS) ahead of next Tuesday.

All violence is bad and we should be keen to eliminate it all. Surely that is a statement of the obvious but my local Tory MP Sarah Atherton is grandstanding again. She has hyet to get back to me on why she puts her career ahead of a wish to stop some of her constituents freezing to death but again she signals virtue. Tell me Ms Atherton which sort of violence targetted against whom do you not want to put an end to?

I have not decided, or rather the Mrs has not decided, whether to install a wood burning stove or two in a couple of the 17th century fireplaces at the Welsh Hovel. We may just go with an open hearth. And we will not be troubled by new batshit crazy plans from the Tories to ban the sale of domestic coal and most logs. We have enough of our own wood in our fields and in the old barns and sheds to last not just ourselves but also our neighbours, for a lifetime. However, we are unusual and lucky.

As you can see below, the Mrs, Joshua and I headed to the polling station to cast our vote in this Labour Tory marginal seat of Wrexham. I handed in my polling card and got a ballot paper, intending to ask Joshua to join me in the booth to show him how one does the right thing. But behind me was a commotion involving the Mrs…
