Just a few caveats. Align Research is paid to pump out the research below. Align and its boss, Richard “nobody likes me and I don’t care” Jennings own shed loads of shares in Bluebird Merchant Ventures (BMV), and the “analyst” is disgraced, journalist smearing, part time PR man, the vile and repellent Dr Michael Green. Dr Green should not be allowed to work in financial services after his crimes as an enabler of the fraud Sefton Resources (SER). Having said all of that, I too have an interest in these shares and reckon they are cheap. Are they worth 9.58p as the ludicrous Green suggests? Er no. But could they double? Yes. And the note below explains why.
1499 days ago
After his role in anabling the fraud at Sefton Resources (SER), including in smearing the UK’s top investigative journalist, Dr Michael Green should NOT be working in financial services. You know my views. But he is. and his job these days seems to be penning bonkers research notes on small mining stocks setting insane share price targets which are multiples of the current share price. You may remember his classic piece on Bluebird Merchant (BMV) where the target – and I say this as an enthusiastic sharenholder – was just insane. Then there was a classic on the worthless James Parsons POS Ascent. His latest note is on Xtract (XTR) where he predicts profits of 500% for those buying the shares. If you enjoy a piece of badly wfritten fiction and don’t have a Jeffrey Archer to hand, the note is below.

I have commented before on how Dr Michael Green should not be working in the City because of the role he played in the Sefton(SER) fraud which included launching a dirty tricks campaign against the heroic investigative journalists Mr Daniel Levi and er…me. A couple of months ago he published a note on Bluebird Merchant (BMV) with a price target which, though I am a very supportive shareholder especially after today’s RNS, I said at the time was quite utterly bonkers. It still is. Today he opines on Ascent Energy (AST) and his research makes that on Bluebird seem sober and considered.

In this bearcast I look at what a dismal failure AIM has become and examine the inherent conflicts of interest which make such failure ( for investors) inevitable. I reference Management Resource Solutions (MRS), Daniel Stewart (DAN), African Potash (AFPO), Arden Partners, Paul Shackleton, Naibu (NBU), Cantor Fitzgerald, Sefton Resources (SER), SP Angel, BlueJay Mining (JAY), Vialogy, Yourgene (YGEN), Quindell (QPP), Globo (GBO) and more. If you enjoyed this how about becoming a hero and donating to rogue bloggers for Woodlarks TODAY HERE

And you thought the pantomime was over… now unlisted and registered in the BVI the latest developments at Sefton Resources (SER) are, predictably amusing. When Sefton was booted off AIM it had 4.8 billion shares in issue. Until the other day it appears to have had almost 9 billion pieces of confetti in issue. But that is set to change.

Pinsent Masons was at the heart of the dirty tricks campaign Sefton Resources (SER) waged against myself and Brokerman Dan Levi as we exposed wholesale lying and fraud. Pinsents was thrashed in Court when Sefton sued us for libel. Scumbag low life motherfucker Pinsents partner Russell Booker was never disciplined so I guess it thinks dirty tricks against journalists are okay. Daniel Stewart (DAN) also sent me lawyers letters but never accepted my kind offer to "see you in Court bitchez", Anyhow the two are being sued for £180 million for their negligence over the Naibu (NBU) fraud I exposed HERE. I discuss that but also why Paul Scott should apologise to 6,000 House of Fraser staff losing their jobs in this bonus podcast.

On 23rd October 2015 as the old board of Sefton Resources (SER) handed over power to Clem Chambers, Mike Hodges as directors and Daniel Levi as a consultant it stated that the cash position was $504,300. The new board claimed that it was in fact materially lower. What is it now? That is unclear but what we do know is that the number of shares in issue has rocketed from 4,796,618,397 to 8,949,299,416 as that was announced at the weekend.

Of course Brokerman Dan (Dan Levi) is not perfect. He publishes outright lies about me on a regular basis but credit where credit is due, he has nailed Jimmyliar Ellerton, the disgraced boss of Sefton Resources (SER) in court again.

The joke awards from ADVFN (AFN) are here again and yet again Brokerman Dan is honoured as the share blogger of the year. Two wins in three years. Nothing to do with him being on the board of delisted & shamed Sefton Resources together with his pals the ADVFN bosses, running an online tipsheet with the ADVFN Chairman this is all down to merit. Oh yes it is. Stop sniggering at the back! Actually it is not the most "interesting" award.

News from the British Virgin islands. Sefton Resources (SER) has updated its poor shareholders with a letter from CEO Dan Levi written in his usual entertaining and combative style.

The word on the street is that the AGM of Sefton Resources (SER) is to be held today at the Essex offices of ADVFN PLC (AFN) - the head honchos at both company's being the same. Flip flop Ben Turney, who now owns almost 13% of the stock says that ADVFN boss Clem Chambers has slammed the phone down on him as he tried to confirm this.

On 13 June I started my 21 stock Death list portfolio - 21 shares heading for zero or being booted off the market - see HERE. Until now 27 stocks have entered the portfollio and I am claiming ten kills - not bad eh? Today I go over the four kills since the last update and add four new entrants to the portfolio. Do the Cloudtag morons really want to bet against me with my current kill rate? I review all 21 now current members. The stocks mentioned are: Worthington, JQW, Jiasen, Camkids, China Chaintek, Trap Oil, Mosman Oil & Gas, Monitise, Outsourcery, Magnolia Petroleum, Arian Silver, Sareum, Avanti Communications, Daniel Stewart, Mariana Resources, Sefton Resources, Golden Saint Resources, Sovereign Mines of Africa, Afren, Wandisco, Tungsten, Blur, Auhua, Afriag, InternetQ, Servision, Igas, Cloudtag, African Potash & Slater & Gordon.

Cry aceeed! Over the weekend Nigel published the proposals made by flip flop Ben Turney for Sefton Resources (SER) and Teathers (TEA). Yup the longest running pantomime on the AIM Casino is back in town. Some of the ideas suggested are just plain crackers. Truly when you thought this farce could not get any more surreal it just did. Others are actually very sensible. I try to cut through the farce to suggest what should happen.

The last we heard Sefton Resources (SER) had c£250,000 in the bank but how much is left and when will we find out? The answer to the latter question is...potentially never thanks to the strange laws of the British Virgin Islands where this company has always been registered.

I delay breakfast at Tom's Diner in Brooklyn for you dear listeners. I explain the sacrifice I am making. Then the theme is one of denial as I examine Zincox (ZOX), Sefton Resources (SER) & flip flop Ben Turney and finally 88 Energy (88E). I move onto how one reacts to fair questions and the scumbags at China New Energy (CNEL) and Afriag (AFRI). I look at Asian Citrus (ACH), InternetQ (INTQ) and Mosman (MSMN) - both zeros and eServGlobal (ESG) which is also heading for 0p. There is a final swipe at Rare Earth Minerals (REM) and Jabba The Hutt, Mr David Lenigas.

On 13 June I started my 21 stock Death list portfolio - 21 shares heading for zero or being booted off the market - see HERE. On 23 August I got my first kill and so Afren (AFR) was replaced by Daniel Stewart (DAN) HERE. I have now had four more kills and nearly all those that have survived have seen their shares tank. Now I update with 4 new entrants, given that I have had four more kills, and I review the original entrants that cling on to life. Just. The stocks mentioned are: Worthington, JQW, Jiasen, Camkids, China Chaintek, Trap Oil, Mosman Oil & Gas, Monitise, Outsourcery, Magnolia Petroleum, Arian Silver, Sareum, Avanti Communications, Daniel Stewart, Mariana Resources, Sefton Resources, Golden Saint Resources, Sovereign Mines of Africa, Afren, Wandisco, Tungsten, Blur, Auhua, Afriag and InternetQ

Oh dear it is not a very good day for Jabba The Hutt is it? The latest bad news is that a first winding up order has been submitted to Companies house for AIM listed Solo Oil (SOLO) - see below. But who is to blame?
Is it hapless gopher Neil Ritson? Or PR genius Steffi ( at £3,000 pcm)? Or perhaps walking disaster Raylene Whitford of Sefton Resources squandermania infamy?
Of course the real issue

This classic from Blue Oyster Cult is today's song for Sefton Resources (SER) becuase tonight its shares will formally be booted off the AIM Casino following the resignation of Nomad Allenby a month ago. We do not normally run adverts on this website for commercial enterprises but I was just wondering where to take the Mrs on a romantic weekend when a kind shareholder in Sefton Resources (SER) sent me this archived link to a charming little B&B, sometimes described - innacurately - as a castle in the Malvern hills. Apparently it is run by an elderly couple but the young son earns a bit of pocket money doing the washing up and helping out now and again.

Market abuser Chris Oil seems attracted to lobster pot stockmarket disasters in the way that I am drawn to Cheryl Cole. It is fascinating to watch car crash after car crash for the little twerp. Following on from Sefton (upping his stake to 13%) just before delisting, Lenigas Cuba (CUBA) – nuff said – now we have Mkango Resources. This train wreck hits AIM on December 2nd.

Sefton Resources (SER) has today updated its shareholders via a release which can only be described as semi-literate. Was it written by Zak Mir? Notwithstanding the appalling syntax the message is clear: shareholders are fucked. We bring the release with a ShareProphets translation service in bold.

Well you heard it here first. Did his PR genius Steffi sign off on this tweet:

A wide ranging little podcast with none of the bad language ( well less) in my earlier bearcast on CEB Resources (CEB) and its scumbag CEO Dave Whitby (HERE). Carry on Up the Sefton Resources (SER) has helpfully given us an update on its death throws as an AIM casino listed stock – suspension could well arrive by as soon as Friday at 7 AM. The timetable of doom is thus:
This afternoon Chairman Jossy meets wannabee CEO Clem Chambers, the boss of ADVFN (AFN). Clem, backed by Dan Levi and market abuser Chris Oil, is insisting that he wants to go on the board ASAP even though no Nomad will act for Sefton under new management. This, BTW, is not a reflection on Clem but on Mr Oil.

Carry on up the Sefton Resources (SER) shareholders should be warned: trading in shares in your company will be halted sooner than you think and the company will almost certainly be kicked off the AIM Casino a month later, we have it from more than one source that Clem Chambers and those who called for an EGM are not backing down.

I am staying wth my father and lefty step mother in Shipston and so there are a string of jokes at his expense. Talking of jokes I mention, en passant, Sefton Resources (SER) but also the total joke that is Golden Saint Resources (GSR). We all knew that at the October 6 EGM, team Chris Oil would win and that the current directors – bar Jossy Rachmantio would be booted out to be replaced by ADVFN’s (AFN) Clem Chambers and Mike Hodges. Sefton (SER) has now thrown in the towel but the drama is far from over.
Oil and Comrade Dan Levi have now withdrawn their EGM requisition and Jossy has agreed to welcome Chambers and Hodges to the board at some time in October. At that point Nomad Allenby will quit.
If no new Nomad steps up then Sefton will be slung off the casino. Today Sefton stated:

Sefton Resources (SER) was not the first London listed company that Jimmyliar Ellerton milked for personal gain and trainwrecked for shareholders. There are numerous reasons why the AIM casino system of regulation based on Nomads fails miserable to protect investors from lying and fraudulent directors. But one major failing is what happens when a Nomad resigns and to demonstrate this I have got my hands on the letter sent by Fox Davies when it quit as Nomad to Sefton Resources (SER) in September 2012 and am delighted to share it with you. Private & Confidential it is marked. Well not any more chaps!
Over the weekend I published leaked emails which demonstrated the moral vacuum at lawyers Pinsent Masons (earning obscene fees acting for Sefton) but also the real reason that Fox Davies quit – quite simply it thought Sefton was misleading investors.

This is not going to be a good day for Sefton Resources (SER) or for London’s most despised law firm Pinsent Masons. I have obtained the explosive exchange of emails which saw Fox Davies resign as Nomad to Sefton Resources (SER) in 2012. It is now certain, following the shock resignation of Raylene Whitford, that Sefton Resources (SER) will soon be run by Clem Chambers and Mike Hodges at the behest of Brokerman Dan and market abuser Chris Oil. Nomad Allenby will quit the day the new consortium takes charge meaning Sefton will be booted off the AIM Casino unless a new Nomad steps forward. So which Nomad wants to commit reputation hara-kiri?
Mr Oil says he has already secured a Nomad. Mr Chambers seemed less sure when being monstered by Justin the Clown on a recent interview. So who will act for Sefton? We ask you to vote in our latest reader poll. Deadline Sunday Midnight:

On April 2nd 2015 Rangers Football Club (RFC) was booted off the AIM casino, the junior market of the London Stock Exchange. A nominated adviser, Nomad, for many AIM companies has now contacted us to explain how this was a direct result of a covert killing by the London Stock Exchange (LSE) itself. Shareholders in Sefton Resources (SER) be warned…you may be next.
As a reminder, disgraced WH Ireland (WHI) resigned as Nomad to Rangers on March 4. Under AIM Rules if no new Nomad is found within a month a company loses its AIM listing. And that is indeed what happened on April 2.

As Ben revealed HERE Chris Oil has requested an EGM at Sefton Resources to oust the board and replace it with the ADVFN (AFN) duo of Clem Chambers and Mike Hodges. My target price for Sefton shares is now 0p.

As I sat three miles from Horse Hill on Monday night I tried to distract myself from the thought of rolling green fields never to be tainted by industrial development, to the matter of oil. And to Sefton Resources (SER). Not that it is rolling in the stuff. Its main problem is lack of money – I sense that a rescue bailout is underway (see HERE). But it has a secondary problem, its much vaunted Indonesia deal must be in trouble.

As I sit in a hotel at Gatwick Airport killing time ahead of a flight to Athens, I ponder a walk down to Horse Hill. But enough of never to be spoiled green fields, let’s talk about oil. Sefton Resources (SER) shares tanked again today and are now just 0.04p to sell – the market cap is sub £1.4 million. So when’s the rescue bailout? Is it underway already?

I knew about this last week, but yesterday afternoon ex Sefton (SER) boss Brokerman Dan (Dan Levi) outed himself and revealed that he had in a former life spent 16 years in high security prisons for a variety of offences some involving firearms. Essentially as a young man he was a member of drugs gangs in the slums of Manchester. He is now coming clean, I believe, because he got a call from a National Paper asking for comment about a story it was planning to run.
You might expect me to slate Dan or David John Hopkins

Last Friday it was announced that Dan Levi (Brokerman Dan) and the market abuser Chris Oil (HERE, HERE and HERE) had upped their stake in Sefton Resources from 9.4% to 10.2%. Sources tell us that this is a prelude to them calling an EGM to ditch the board and install Clem Chambers & Mike Hodges of ADVFN as directors with Levi as a consultant.
Talking of installing, Levi now appears to have an office at ADVFN. And Chris Oil’s foxy PR bird Stefania (formerly PR to Sefton) is now doing ADVFN’s PR. What a happy bunch of campers.

Before I turn to Sefton and the wider issue of impairment (or not) on the AIM casino I am still bristling after being rubbed up the wrong way last night by an apologist for convicted felon Charlie Gibson and so until I get bored I wish to remind you of why Gibson is a felon (HERE). Then onto today's business. To give flip flop a break there are a few comments on Sefton's results and why I am still a bear. Then the issue of asset impairment and today's Kansas news vindicates a lot of what Dan Levi and I said about Jimmyliar Ellerton. But it raises the wider issue of inadequate impairment reviews on the AIM casino.

Brokerman Dan feels that this website has slighted him in suggesting that after a flurry of bullish tweets on Sefton Resources (SER), he and his little friend Chris Oil sold their shares last week. Dan Levi insists they have sold none. Okay.
In the past Chris Oil has sold shares in Sefton on the same day as he tweeted that folks should buy. But 2+2 does not always equal 4, as the great Rob Terry would say. I take Levi at his word and thus I am happy to apologise on behalf of this website and I look forward to a complete lack of RNS’s on this matter to 100% vindicate my old friend. However…

On Thursday Raylene Whitford, the FD and only executive director at embattled Sefton Resources (SER) was asked about the possibility of boardroom change and stated that "The last thing Sefton needs is another person in the company trying to line their pockets”. We asked you who you thought she was referring to. You were in no doubt.

On Friday Sefton Resources (SER) received an email from Daniel Levi, aka Brokerman Dan, requesting that it make wholesale boardroom changes. Levi states that he wishes to spare the company the uncertainty and cost of an EGM and so has made this approach to avoid such unpleasantries.
3442 days ago
Brokerman Dan (Levi) and the market abuser Chris Oil are letting it be known that they are going into Sefton Resources (SER) to "save it" by calling for boardroom change. With their known associates among the bulletin board moron and PR totty community I am sure they already have 10% of the enlarged equity and could call an EGM. Dan has already told me by email that he wants to oust directors. Questions questions.

Another day and another exclusive. Today we bring you the court filing made by disgraced Jimmyliar Ellerton as he tries to screw not $250,000 but $400,000 from the company. It will not make pleasant reading for Sefton (SER) shareholders but I am happy to appear as an expert witness for the company as the claims he makes are - as you would expect - packed full of lies.
The worrying point for Sefton is that the claims are being brought not only by Jimmyliar himself (for loans not repaid and expenses not paid - does that include the underpants?) but also by C&J Resources the company owned by his ex Mrs, the foxy Carol. C&J probably stands a better chance than the disgraced Jimmyliar.
3448 days ago
We all know that Sefton Resources (SER) is running out of cash fast - it is down to £250,000 which is not enough to cover either its legal bills in fighting Jimmyliar Ellerton's spurious legal claims or the legal & AIM cash costs of doing a trasaction, if indeed it is able to do one. And so when's the placing?
3452 days ago

Sefton (SER) shares have fallen to just 0.13p to sell. How wise market abuser Chris Oil was to sell all his shares on 8 May at 0.37p as he tweeted out that folks should be buying. But in light of the collapseroonie I have a brief question for the company's broker Cornhill.

You may well remember the dirty tricks camoaign that Sefton Resources (SER) under Jimmyliar Ellerton waged against myself and Dan Levi when we exposed his lies and fraud. One smear was to plant a suggestion/lie with a "friendly journalist" - or scab as I would call her - in the Daily Telegraph suggesting that Dan was short of the stock. Now it seems as if New Sefton is waging the same campaign against me.
The old dirty tricks are revealed in full in Sefton the True Story video from UK Investor HERE
That Sefton shares are overvalued is clear to one and all as I pointed out yesterday in BearCast HERE
But Sefton does not like it and its minions are smearing. There is a blogger known as California Joe who states on his blog:

Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear. Jimmyliar Ellerton is back and Sefton (SER) shareholders now face a potential wipeout. Congratulations to Chris Oil for telling folks to buy at 0.37p as he dumped his entire holding. The shares are now 0.17p to sell and could well head back towards zero after news today. Well done to Chris Oil and all connected to him for their pump and dump.
Yesterday I asked whether Sefton could comment on a number of matters postulated by the rampers, namely that a placing had been agreed, that Rob Shepherd was joining as CEO and that a deal to bring in producing assets was almost done - see HERE. That seems to have goaded the company into making a statement.
Well what do we learn today?

In today's bearcast I sing happy birthday to you for Marimedia. Ok it is not such a happy 1st birthday on the AIM Casino. What a shocker. Then onto Sareum, Sefton Resources (see HERE), Gable, JQW, Jiasen and Northbridge. Now into the fields to poison some frigana.

On the very day that market abuser Chris Oil started selling 96 million shares in Sefton Resources (SER) he tweeted out that the stock was a buy to those who follow him. There were other ramps to follow as Oil cleared his position which were so blatant that the FCA is now investigating him. To be so blatant with your market abuse surely makes you a Bulletin Board Moron but perhaps you have spotted someone tweeting or posting something even more stupid. we suggest that boards for New World, Sefton and Worthington will once again throw up some examples.

The share blogger of the year Brokerman Dan is calling on investors to boycott ShareProphets because we accused him of over-promoting Sefton before dumping most of his shares (five days after tweeting It's back to the rumour mill on #SER for me chaps! Am I selling? Not on your life. Tick! Tock! Goes the Stryker clock!) and for pointing out that his pal Chris Oil committed blatant market abuse bt tweeting bullishly as he dumped ALL his Sefton stock. Whatever. IF YOU SUPPORT MARKET ABUSE PLEASE BOYCOTT THIS SITE AND BLOCK BOTH OF US ON TWITTER. However Dan makes a few other points.
3480 days ago
That crony capitalist Brokerman Dan is today exposed as a pump and dump merchant in Sefton (SER) is horrifying enough – see HERE. But now mad blogger Chris Oil of New World infamy (HERE) is show to be quite frankly guilty of market abuse. This is shameless and revolting.
3481 days ago
So much for all the talk of big deals. So much for those assurances that the shares were heading to 1p. So much for the requests to “get behind us” from crony capitalist Brokerman Dan. The man who learned all about stock pumping from the great David Lenigas, has today dumped 60 million of his 86 million shares in Sefton Resources (SER) sending the stock sliding by 25% to 0.27p. This stinks.
3481 days ago
Hmmmmm, sorry to tell those who are urging investors to boycott ShareProphets because we oppose market abuse but your campaign is, like the share price of Sefton Resources, going down in flames. We are having a great day.

Old Sefton run by Jimmyliar Ellerton responded to criticism from myself and Brokerman Dan – in the days when he was a journalist not a crony capitalist – with a smear campaign sanctioned by Pinsent Masons ( as you can see HERE). Sefton may be changing its name to Stryker but the own goals and old habits continue.
I think Sefton’s shares have been ramped in an orchestrated manner and are ludicrously overvalued and have been happy to say so – notably here. With a false market the stock should clearly be suspended on the AIM casino.
3496 days ago
Shares rise for no reason, the company say there is no reason, they fall, a few spoofers make money. In other cases stocks are being ramped in ways that are completely outside the rules of the game. Sorry to do this but I have to use the weekend's nonsense from Sefton (SER) as an example. Either there are rules in which case this stock needs suspending and some folks getting a slap on the wrists or there are no rules in which case the hoods are running the asylum and AIM is officially not an honest place to do business. I also look at Mosman Oil & Gas, Daniel Stewart ( apologies timescale a day out on that one) and a few other POS stocks.

Sefton shares are flying again. Everyone who tweets me claims to know what is going on. There is a false market the shares should be suspended. Ditto Gate after my revelations earlier HERE. The podcast then turns to the Horse Hill stocks French Connection, Totally, Avocet Mining, Plethora and Condor Gold (see HERE) . Oh and...Rosslyn Data Technologies....I'm coming for you!

Comrade Brokerman Dan seems to have taken offense at my earlier podcast about the end of his career as a crony capitalist as boss of Sefton Resources (SER). I send this postcard to my friend with respect. Do not deny others an opinion. I praise you mightily for what you have done but I criticise today's payoff of £50,000 and explain why it is wrong.
3500 days ago
With a fifty grand golden thank you my pal Brokerman Dan has ended his career as a crony capitalist at Sefton Resources (SER) after just two months and twenty days. Back in the welfare safari of the Manchester slums that £50,000 will go a long way, just think of all the rats you can buy to feed the kids a roasted treat, think of all the crack and illegal cigarettes you can ship in to sell at the school gates. I imagine that Dan now has enough to buy half the sink estate. I discuss Dan's payoffs, lessons I am sure he has learned, CEOs on twitter and where this leaves Sefton.

I explain the trouser predicament I face at the end of the podcast. It is all to do with UK Investor Show on Saturday and I look forward to seeing you there. Before we get to my issue today I look at Ultrasis (toast), Daniel Stewart, Sefton Resources, Kromek, Igas, Horse Hill nonsense and Optimal Payments.

If you are up in London for UK Investor show on Saturday and fancy a quiet and relaxing evening beforehand do not bother reading on. But if you fancy a drink and a pizza with new Sefton (SER), aka “mancslumboy” Brokerman Dan, Clem Chambers of ADVFN and their uber-foxy PR bird plus a sprinkling of ShareProphets writers and other CEOs attending the show, all will be gathering from 6 PM

If you have not ordered yet, well you have an hour or so. we are all bar a couple of tickets sold out so will stop selling any tickets at 4PM today and put a sold out sign up at www.ukinvestor show.com - so to book: hurry up. Enough of Saturday's fun. In this podcast I look at Horse Hill (read Steve Brown's piece today!), Ascent Resources, Red Emperor, Northbridge Industrial, market madness and Sefton Resources.

I spent the morning starting fires at the Greek Hovel burning off some of the frigana I cut last summer. Photos of myself and George in action will be on TomWinnifrith.com later - but that brings me to a very good reason to attend the UK Investor Show - there are stacks of reasons - as I explian in the podcast. The show is now 75% sold out but you can book your tickets today HERE. Meanwhile I look at Quindell, the shoddy outfit that is Cenkos, Sefton Resources, New World Oil & Gas, Tungsten and Fitbug.

If life at AIM's most entertaining stock could not get any more bizarre we learn today that my pal Clem Chambers, the boss of ADVFN (AFN) - our business partner - has joined Brokerman Dan on the board of Sefton Resources (SER). Clem is not an oil man but will no doubt offer Dan valuable guidance on corporate governance issues.
Meanwhile Sefton (net assets minus a few quid) has raised £900,000 from lucky clients of Cornhill at 0.55p and a few more bits of confetti to clear some of the liabilities left by Dan’s predecessor Jimmyliar Ellerton who had to fall on his sword after he sued Dan and me for libel for calling him a lying crook. Jimmyliar’s great problem in that case was that we were bang on the money.

And there is comment on naughty, naughty Gotham City Research.

How is Doug Ware of Worthington getting on consoluting with Houyan Lin of Naibu, Rob Terry of Quindell and JimmyLiar Ellerton of Sefton who ran other companies I attacked to see how they can deal with The Sheriff? Perhaps they should all meet up in Fujian to see how they can wield the "sword of truth" together? Despite Doug's best efforts to get The Old Bill onto me I have made it to Greece. I knew that the false passport that Mossad provided as we jointly organised the global shorting conspiracy would come in handy one day.
Meanwhile a reader has sent in a picture just for Mr Ware to which he has already added a suitable caption. It is Greek themed

The jihadists of the QPPSAG and other frauds and morons have waged war against me, this website and especially our cracking Clerkenwell restaurant for 2 years as we expose crime and dishonesty in the City. Today we accelerate the fight back against the free speech deniers as the restaurant gets a makeover.
We all support free speech don’t we? But how far will you go in its defence? The staff at this restaurant know that defending free speech with words is easy but when you are in the firing line it can be rather harder.
During the past three years I have received more than 75 lawyers letters from a range of listed companies threatening me for what I have written on this website which I run with veteran Canadian journalist Darren Atwater demanding that I desist. I have not withdrawn one allegation or article.
In the first month of 2015, three companies that I have attacked have gone bust or seen trading in their shares suspended. Over the past year I have ended the PLC careers of more than half a dozen individuals and there are more to come. Good riddance to the crony capitalists!
Only one company (Sefton, run by JimmyLiar Ellerton) has upped the ante from bullying to taking full legal action. Its chairman was fired in disgrace and it ended up paying us costs.
I have also received three death threats in the past year which you can see on the walls at the Free Speech & Liberty Pizza House ( as well as a selection of letters from bully boy lawyers including Schillings, Pinsent Masons and Memery Crystal) , we have received dog shit in the post and the staff at one City investment bank have publicly threatened to beat me up for what I wrote about the way they ripped off investors by floating fraudulent companies. I responded by going to film a video outside the bank’s Christmas party which you can see here.

Brokerman Dan has called in from the Manchester Slums to say that he is not earning £1 a month as the saviour of Sefton Resources (SER) but will be the lowest paid executive on AIM earning just £1 a quarter. Even by the standards of the welfare safari park known as Moss Side that seems a trifle low but we at ShareProphets care and so our writers will tomorrow be gathering in Clerkenwell to record our latest Charity Single #FeedTheSlumBoy. All proceeds from the single will be sent direct to the deprived folks on the welfare safari. Once again with apologies to Bob Geldof & Midge Ure:

The latest word from Sefton Resources (SER) is not good and must give rise to fears that Jimmyliar Ellerton is going to steal its last not totally worthless asset.
Pro tem the board has decided not to put the company into administration as a new offer is on the table from a consortium in which Mr Karl Arleth is intimately involved. Our sources reveal that the offer would see Sefton lose all its Tapia assets in return for the bidder taking on its bank debt.
That would leave Sefton with liabilities

Just to try and explain what TNAV is but also to take issue with a brewing scandal on the AIM Casino which is the way that audit forms have failed to review carrying values in a most grotesque if not negligent manner. Shares in Sefton Resources (SER) are among the big fallers today- nowat 0.11p vs 2.5p when i started attacking this fraud more than two years ago. There are some lessons from that "campaign" for shareholders in the fraud that is Quindell. But there are wider lessons brought home by today's latest catastrophic news, viz the reality of real asset backing and the failure of auditors. I also cover Quenron and its share price and the turn my fire on Touchstone Gold - a crony capitalist pointless POS vehicle, before discussing Globo and why its shares are so grossly overvalued -a point made in more genteel terms by Steve Moore earlier today HERE

As the leaves start to turn brown you may not be thinking about next April but we are as we plan the biggest and best UK Investor Show ever. The speaker line-up gets more impressive by the day and already 90 of the 110 Growth companies attending have booked in – and I am delighted that there are a raft of new PLCs attending, and almost as delighted that some of those who attend every show are NOT attending!
So some things stay the same. I shall be there but will be doing different sessions in smaller rooms – such as the Sefton story with Dan Levi – and a PLC fraud session with a special guest. Nigel Wray, Mark Slater, Evil and Lucian Miers are back as are Vin Murria and Ben Edelman. But we are mixing up the speakers with new names such as Jason Drummond and Cassandra Harris on tech and Luke Johnson is also on board as well.
In terms of companies, you can see many of the big names at www.UKInvestorshow.com

The final talk at the first ShareProphets seminar was by me and looked at 11 ways that AIM companies artificially boost profits to mislead investors. It featured Sefton (SER) and Quindell (QPP) heavily but other real life examples were given. ”What do the following companies have in common: blinkx, Globo, Quindell, Range Resources and Sefton Resources? It is a two part answer.
The first is that all five have sent me at least one lawyer’s letter as they did not like what I have written. The second is that the share prices of all five halve fallen SINCE they sent the letter (as well as after my articles).
The reality is that companies that issue lies in an RNS

You could not make this up. Disgraced liar and crook Jim Ellerton may well be reinstated as the next Chairman of Sefton Resources (SER) in January. This take from the AIM Cesspit gets worse and worse.

On twitter, on various bulletin boards and on the comments section here on ShareProphets and elsewhere we have come under sustained attack for 24 hours – let me set the record straight. And then I can get back to dealing with the snakes, rats and bats that infest my home for the summer in Greece.

Results yesterday from Sefton Resources (SER) were predictably dreadful. The silver lining shareholders had hoped for was that after December 31st 2013 ex-boss Jim Ellerton would no longer be a drain on this AIM Cesspit posterboy. However, it seems not. Jim is still trying to relieve Sefton of any cash it might have. The man has no shame. I call on the current board to take steps towards trying to ensure that Ellerton goes to prison where he belongs.
As a reminder: Ellerton was forced to leave the Sefton board by the toothless AIM Regulation team which deemed him not to be a fit and proper person to sit on an AIM board and boy there is a low threshold there.
That came after I revealed that Ellerton was either a perjurer or had been using company funds for his own purposes or both – see HERE.
The AIM team should have booted him out well before for lying about output numbers and many other matters over many years and then raising money on the back of those lies. Ellerton was a conman and a liar and should have gone to prison.
Of course Ellerton compounded his woes by using vast amounts of shareholders cash to sue me and Brokerman Dan for libel last year for calling him a liar and a conman. And we all know how that turned out don’t we. Smiley face. Smiley face. Smiley face.
And so as at December 31st the grossly overpaid old liar left Sefton under an agreed compromise settlement agreement. But it appears that the old rogue has not gone back to his luxury Hawaii mansion to spend more time with his foxy wife Carol. Sefton is essentially bust but Ellerton wants more

You could not make it up. Some folks cannot but help pick overpriced glamour stocks which crash. Meet Mike Bowen who tweets as @lookatbowen and who first spring to my attention as he tweeted @tomwinnifrith the only person certifiable is you Tom – Oooh er missus. I guess he owns Quindell (QPP) then.
For the avoidance of doubt I am prepared to accept that there is a case to be made that I am certifiable. Warning folks about overvalued stocks does not make you popular. Buying shares in Quindell just to go to the AGM and ask hard questions might be construed as foolhardy. But whatever. I prefer the description “eccentric.” But as it happens on a portfolio of all the stocks the Bulletin Board Morons love (blinkx, Globo, Iofina, Cupid, Gulf Keystone, Coms, Range Resources, Sefton and of course Quindell) I was RIGHT to be bearish.
Now meet “sane” Mike Bowen.

Actor Hugh Grant is, as you may remember, keen to gag the press so that it cannot run stories about how he used to get blow jobs from hookers in Los Angeles. But in the UK it appears that we are now going to include prostitution in how we calculate our Gross Domestic Product. As such it is surely a valid question to ask how much Mr Grant has contributed to US economic growth over the years?
As such the “Divine” picture below is totally relevant and I invite you to suggest a suitable caption for it. Please post your captions in the comments section below.

Give him his dues, old Jimmyliar Ellerton was always pretty quick to release data showing output in his California Tapia field to the DOGGR. But these days it seems to take an eon to get information. We are now in May and still data for March has not been published by Sefton Resources (SER). Why not? Take a guess.
In February, Sefton (through TEG) only produced 2,274 barrels of oil at its Tapia field in California. That works out at 81.2 barrels per day. In January output was 2,790 barrels – 90 bopd. Only once since 2005 has output been lower than it was in February.
And March will be worse. The reason

As ever, the competition to be the Bulletin Board Moron of the week is a fierce one. But the winner this week is a poster on the LSE Sefton Board called Tom Winnifrith. What a total moron and – for what it is worth – a law breaker to boot.
The FSMA Market Abuse act does cover Bulletin Board Morons as well as normal human beings. And to deliberatlely spread knowingly false information about a stock is market abuse – maximum jail sentence 5 years.
This total imbecile is claiming – as per the screen shot below that a bid at 1.2p per share for Sefton is on the way. He is also claiming that I have sold Real Man Pizza Company to buy Sefton shares but that there is free pizza on offer at Real Man for anyone who wants it. Er…what can I say other than this is untrue and that this poster also has the writing style of a three year old.

I will tomorrow ask my stockbroker to buy me £10 of shares in Vialogy (VIY). I expect to make a 100% capital loss on them but am buying so that I can attend the AGM on October 29th. This company is a posterboy for the AIM Cesspit: executive greed, misleading investors, a failed business model and whopping losses. Its board needs to be fully exposed and held to account before bankruptcy, which could be within weeks. Dan Levi will also be buying £10 of shares. Vialogy is now officially in the sights of the gruesome twosome.

First up I met up with Darren to film a comic video at the offices of uber expensive bully boy City lawyers Pinsent Masons. It will go live next week when an agreed statement between myself, Dan and Sefton is published. V is no longer for Vendetta, V is for Victory! I think the video is funny. I am not sure that our pals at Pinsents will be so amused.
Then to Real Man Pizza in Clerkenwell to drop something off before heading off to the Grim North for a weekend with the in-laws. Damn. Super cook Leo was not there and was running very late. And so Maribel and I opened up and pondered whether we would rather have a customer before Leo arrived or not. Shucks a cute young American arrived. We played for time but eventually she summoned me over to order food.
I prayed to God that she wanted pasta which I am pretty damn good at serving up. But maybe he was punishing me for becoming an Islamic spiritual mentor because the bird ordered a pizza. Damn. The chaps have tried to teach me how to make pizza but it is really hard. But I rolled my sleaves up and gave it a go.
I rolled the dough, pushed it out with my fingers and after a while produced a pretty excellent base. I added the toppings and Maribel and I struggled to get it onto the pizza spade and into the oven. “Yes, yeeees, yeeeeeeeeees” gushed Maribel (in a somewhat disturbing manner) as I managed to get the pizza into the oven. Three minutes later it was on the table.
After a while the girl asked for her cheque and said “that was amazing pizza I am so glad that I found you.” I ‘fessed up that it was my first ever commercial pizza. On that high I now announce my retirement as a pizza chef.
And now off to the Grim North…

The old man with the circle on his jumper threw his papers up in the air leaving the floor strewn with images of sheep in various states of undress. I picked up one picture of a well shaven ewe from Caerphilly and handed it back to him suggesting that she had been well fleeced. “A bit like shareholders in Sefton” piped up the Dormouse. The old man looked pained again.
“Infamy, infamy, they’ve all got it in for me” he uttered. “I used to be a top oil analyst in the City and now I have to spend my days being a non exec for shit little AIM companies, some of whom cannot even afford to pay me.”

Suddenly I was awake. I was back in real life. There were no dormice. No Mad Hatters. No white rabbits. And I was just wandering down from my Clerkenwell Rabbit Hole to the High Court on the Strand, documents in hand. I duly handed in my documents and some for Dan Levi and popped outside. Ahem said a small voice. I turned around and it was the Dormouse who offered me a small piece of cake. I was feeling rather peckish so gulped it down. Shrooooooooooooooooooooom.
Suddenly we were floating through the air over to Crown Place in the City of London the global headquarters of law firm Pinsent Masons. We floated through the door and were swept up to a plush but empty meeting room and hovered in the corner. Suddenly a team of well-fed lawyers wearing large top hats stormed in, dragging foxy Pinsents Partner Julie Herriot through the door by her hair.
“Why did you publish that memo on security of costs” screamed Russell Booker, acting in his capacity as legal counsel for Sefton, when not advising the litigation team, when not preparing to act as a witness against Sefton in the forthcoming trail. “Don’t you understand the idea of conflict of interest” he screamed, as he gulped a swig from a flask of smoking green liquid. Poor Julie was in tears.
“Hmmm”, I said to the dormouse, “do they realize they may have to stump up £275,000 which they have not got and so are fucked?”. “Sssssshhhhhh” said the Dormouse, “they can hear us!”
Indeed they could. The Mad Hatters looked up. “Cripes” thought I. But improvising hastily I announced “ we are the ghosts of Christmas past, we want to take you back to all those billings you have made to Sefton Resources for a case you could not win and which paid for your fucking great £2 million townhouses in Islington, please examine your consciences.”
In unison the Mad Hatters said “Do not use obscene language in our offices.”
“But he always uses the word fucking in his blogs” said the dormouse.
“Not fucking, that’s fine by us, but around here, conscience is a four letter word” chanted the Mad Hatters.
I could see I was getting nowhere fast. Noticing some sugar lumps with a strange topping sitting next to the coffee pot I swooped down and grabbed a couple and swallowed fast.
Shroooooooooooooom. The skies were marmalade, we floated past tangerine trees and we were back in the rabbit hole. Standing in the corner was an old man, gazing at pictures of sheep. He was wearing a jumper with a big circle on the front and had a vaguely persecuted look about him….
To be continued.

Shares in Sefton Resources (SER) remain suspended as we await its (dire) interims. But if there was a change in its trading it should still, under AIM Cesspit rules, let us all know via an RNS. But it seems that Sefton is not playing by the rules. Plus ca change.

Well fuck you Sefton Resources (SER). Your lawyer Russell Booker of Pinsent Masons has told you (in emails leaked on the internet) that your case is unwinnable. The whole City is laughing at you. You are running out of cash. The NEDs, led by Keith Morris, have been offered a way out that ends the cashburn for you but still you think that you can bully myself and Dan Levi. And so to court we go again on Friday. But now it is we who are going to start to play hard ball on the legal and also the editorial front. Brace yourselves for a firestorm.
On that bullying tack, please think again if you think that your posh, uber expensive, City establishment pals at Pinsent Masons can make us flinch. Our surnames are deceptive. You are taking on the fighting Irish. Okay Dan is a left footer and I am a blue nose but in the spirit of Wolfe Tone we are going to fight all the way together. Only, on this occassion, we will win.
My next article exposing you for the scumbags you are goes live tomorrow. The sniper is again very much active.

For on Friday we have another case management conference with Master Kay at the High Court in the Sefton libel trial. You may remember that Pinsents really should not be there at all since it is 100% conflicted as I have formally noted that Pinsents Partner Russell Booker is called as a witness by me. Moreover Pinsents only witness (Jim Ellerton) has been fired in disgrace by Sefton for being a liar and a crook.
The case is thus a total shambles yet Pinsents is ploughing on and will be invoicing poor old Sefton another £10,000 or so for its work in the week that lies ahead.
As such I offer up this picture and ask you to supply your caption in the comments section below by Friday at 9 AM.
For what it’s worth my caption is:
“As the crack Pinsents legal team met to discuss the Sefton case, partner Russell Booker put on his hat and declared of course we are not conflicted”

Jeepers – yet another email from the Sefton (SER) cupboard full of skeletons has emerged and this one raises a ghastly question for uber-expensive bully boy lawyers Pinsent Masons. Is it genuine? God only knows but round at Pinsents there is a deathly serious question to answer.

Bad news for Abbe Aronson, the girl who broke my heart in 1985 – she will have to go topless for now. For Abbe requested a “Sefton is fucked T-shirt” which I dutifully ordered for her but had not quite got around to posting. And blow me down but a customer rolled into Real Man Pizza in Clerkenwell today and said he really, really wanted to buy one. The chap is apparently trying to get a mining exploration company in Afghanistan underway. If he ever organises a press trip, I told him he can offer my place to someone back at t1ps who really deserves a week or two in Helmund province. Don't all say it - I am just too much of a nice guy.
Anyhow, sorry Abbe. On that holiday you are planning (I really do recommend Albania) you will have to go topless. I shall order another one for you right away.
Of course you can pick up your very own shirt HERE

Oh dear, oh dear, - as the great Mike Walters used to say – it appears that whoever has access to Sefton Resources (SER) emails is again leaking some pretty toxic stuff. This time it is the email from Pinsent Masons partner and legal advisor to Sefton, Mr Russell Booker, in which he warns that the libel case against Dan Levi and myself should be dropped. Quite amazingly Pinsents litigation team are still ploughing ahead with the case regardless so racking up yet more fees for Sefton’s poor shareholders to swallow.

I was once again back in my Clerkenwell rabbit hole. The dormouse was again pouring some tea of a herbal nature and produced a tray of cakes each one saying “Eat Me NOW or Pinsent Masons will frigging sue you.” “Surely we have been here before?” I asked the dormouse who just smiled and pushed the tray gently towards me.
A small mole appeared in the corner of the room, winked at me, grabbed a cake and gulped it down. Shroooooooooooom. Suddenly the mole was ten foot tall and was holding a smoking gun. He laughed, devoured another cake and was then carried away on a magical boat back to the Pinsents bunker on a journey past tangerine trees and under marmalade skies.
Curiouser and curiouser I thought. What might the mole have in store for us next?

Suddenly I was back in my Clerkenwell Rabbit hole sitting with the dormouse sipping what looked like a cup of herbal tea. “Is the acid trip over?” I asked my new friend. “Surely with Sefton’s only witness exposed as a liar and a crook, with Pinsents in breach of the SRA rule-book if it continues to act for Sefton given that Russell Booker is now my star witness and given that the case was bollocks in the first place it is all over?” The dormouse leaned forward.
But at that point there was a loud knock on the door and a man dressed in a red military uniform with round gold rimmed glasses appeared. Bloody hell. It was John Lennon from the Sergeant Pepper album. “Are you sure that was tea?” I asked the dormouse. He smiled. Shrooooooooooom.
Rather thankful that it was not colourful James out on a bender with not Johnny Depp I opened the door. “John – where are Ringo, Paul and George? “ I asked contemplating how Real Man was attracting all the stars these days.
“Do not be so daft. John Lennon was shot dead thirty years ago by Mark Chapman, surely you know that I am Chris Mullen the senior partner at Sergeant Pinsents legal tarts club band? Here. Have some candy from my five million pound Notting Hill townhouse paid for in part by Sefton’s shareholders.”

An open letter sent today to Chris Mullen, the senior partner at Pinsent Masons. I shall keep you posted on the response.

The only witness Sefton Resources (SER) stated to the Court that it would call in its libel case was Jim Ellerton who is now exposed as a liar and a crook and who was forced to leave the Sefton board in disgrace on the advice of Nomad Allenby and Company lawyer Pinsent Masons.
That same firm of lawyers has today written to me declining my offer to settle (with it paying my costs and damages in shares) but saying it would talk to me if I agreed not to write about it for 30 days. It insists that it is quite prepared to plough on with what anyone with half a brain cell can see is an unwinnable case given the Ellerton issue and the fact that everything I have written about Sefton is verifiably true.
I have no intention of being gagged for 30 days. So I have told Pinsents to fuck off. The sniper is back on duty. Pursuing this unwinnable case will bankrupt Sefton. Shareholders need to be very much aware of that but frankly that is not my concern.
I guess we now must start looking at the Non-Executive Directors in detail as well as again ploughing through the old annual reports. Comrade Levi is – I gather minded – to take a similar approach.

I was just sitting outside Real Man Pizza Company having a fag and looking a bit of a mess thanks to a quite surreal night with Colourful James in Clerkenwell, of which more later, but it involved, at a tangent, Johnny Depp. And a bloke shouts out from a passing cab - "well done on Pinsent Masons - keep on going." Thanks for the encouragement, I shall do so. The uber expensive bully boy lawyers whose fees will sink Sefton can expect my next broadside within 24 hours.

I wished to speak to Dr Michael Green, Sefton’s IR manager and Company Secretary this morning. And so I called the number on today’s release. A young lady answered the phone & I did not quite catch where she said she worked but I was put through. A voice answered and said that Green was out until after lunch. I asked where I was calling? The American accent replied: “Dr Michael Green’s London office.”

Shares in Sefton (SER) have been suspended today. The reason is that an internet site has published what purport to be internal emails and the interims and has thus created a disorderly market. The site has also strayed into making suggestions about the private life of a Sefton employee (not Ellerton) which is quite simply 100% unacceptable. As such I shall not give it the oxygen of publicity and my thoughts go out to that employee today. I wish him all the best, would happily buy him a drink and a pizza and he has my complete understanding and unquestioning support at a personal, if not a professional, level.

I have not actually taken any LSD or even a magic mushroom for years but as I contemplate the insane world of Pinsent Masons and the Sefton libel case I feel like I am on the most amazing trip. For Pinsents yesterday stated that it is ploughing ahead with the libel case. I happen to know that this is bollocks – the remaining Sefton directors met Pinsents and other advisors last Friday and are trying to find a way out. Oh yes, I have my sources Pinsents, try not to get too paranoid. But anyhow let’s go on a magical mystery tour with the bully boy lawyers…
Suddenly a giant caterpillar appeared and beckoned me from my Clerkenwell rabbit hole towards the High Court. I called as a witness of fact Mr Russell Booker, a partner at Pinsent Masons, and asked him to read out his memo to the Sefton board in which he said that Jim Ellerton (Sefton’s only witness) was “discredited as a witness” and thus the case was unwinnable. “Thank you Mr Booker” said the white hare “would the plaintiff like to cross examine?”
The Barrister for Sefton consulted his team of lawyers from Pinsent Masons about how they would cross examine a partner from Pinsent Masons who was appearing as a witness of fact for the defence. Shroooooooooooooooooooooooooom. No conflicts of interest here said the Pinsents team as they smoked a large hookah offered to them by Dr Ali in lieu of his final draft preliminary final report on steamflooding.
The Judge offered everyone more tea and a piece of cake

Let me be clear I have offered to allow Sefton pay a modest sum, in shares, covering my costs and the damages it owes me for its libellous RNS of 24 February. The company could have been off the hook by now wasting no more of its limited cash on settling this legal battle which it has lost. That would clearly be in the interests of shareholders who have suffered enough already. What or who is stopping this? Bully boy lawyers Pinsent Masons.
Round at Pinsents Associate Helen Skinner (£500 an hour) has been removed from leading the case and replaced by a partner on £750 an hour ( a Mr. Twemey). And what did they spend the weekend doing? Sending letters to Dan Levi (at £750) an hour demanding that he allow an extension to the disclosure process which Pinsent Masons has already agreed with the Court weeks ago.
It is not as if Dan wants many more documents than the ones he wanted on July 27 when Pinsents agreed to the original timetable. Just one: The opinion of Russell Booker (Pinsents partner) presented to the Sefton board stating that Sefton’s sole witness (Jimmyliar Ellerton) was not credible and that the case would be lost and should be dropped. I am sure Pinsents can find that memo without too much trouble.
I feel sorry for Sefton shareholders and so have offered the company a way out that eases its very tight cash position. Shareholders should be begging their board to accept my offer and tell Pinsents to fuck off and stop billing for what little cash is left in the depleted corporate coffers. I should warn Sefton shareholders

Jim Ellerton was toast the moment his sworn under oath deposition from Dillabaugh vs Ellerton fell into my paws. Late last night the 200 page transcript of that case arrived with myself and Dan Levi. We are still analysing it in full so won’t publish it yet but if Jimmyliar thinks it will could have saved him he is wrong.
As ever you really have to ask why Dan and I get documents that the AIM Team, and the fuckwits at Pinsent Masons do not have. Both have asked us to hand them over but how about for once the scumbags do the job they are grotesquely over-paid to do themselves rather than scrounging off poor journalists in such an unseemly fashion.
In court, as under deposition, Ellerton claims that he does need to repay monies he borrowed from Dillabaugh (and Dillabaugh’s young daughter Lisa) because of the offsets – benefits Gary received because Jim got him a job at Sefton.
4100 days ago
It is 9.30 AM and I am sitting outside a small café in Russell Square, decked out in my West Ham hoodie contemplating today’s match against Stoke and tapping away at my PC, enjoying a latte and a fag and reading Jimmyliar’s latest lies in The Times. “How’s Sefton going? Said a voice. Rather fearing that Jimmy had sent a hit man to track me down I looked up.
“I am sorry”, said I to the complete stranger,” how can I help?” It turned out it was a journalist from Growth Company Investor who had followed the case and thought it was fascinating. Well done said he and we chatted about the amazing tale, the revelations and also about executive greed on the AIM cesspit. And then he scuttled off promising to pop into Real Man in a few weeks’ time for a longer chat.
Having other journalists say well done is always a good feeling so many thanks to him for that professional courtesy. I wish him well with his career as he strikes me as a knowledgeable chap who knows his stuff and enjoys writing and is not doing it merely as a stepping stone to the dark side (financial PR).
And many thanks for the dozens of kind emails, tweets and a couple of personal visits yesterday. Now to what really matters: Can West Ham triumph (without a decent striker available) against a piss poor Stoke?

Disgraced Sefton (SER) ex-boss Jim Ellerton is still lying. Even though for him the game is up. It gets to the stage where if Jim said that 2 + 2 = 4 or that the Pope is a Catholic I would assume that somehow 2+2 was 5 or 3 or any number other than 4 and that his holiness was now a nice Jewish boy. Jim: what are you on? Acid?
4101 days ago
I am not sure that those singled out for praise will appreciate it coming from me. Neither will those who receive rightful opprobrium in what follows – my mind this afternoon turns to the world of financial PR. The dark side.

Sefton Resources (SER) has this morning fired its chairman Jim Ellerton from the board. He has been shown to be a liar, a criminal, a man not fit to run a PLC and there will be worse to come for him as the Serious Fraud Office, the US Internal Revenue Service and the Colorado Department of Justice Enquiries get underway. All three have been or will be provided with full dossiers. Ellerton will try to grub whatever cash he can from Sefton but he is toast. Toxic toast.
Sefton sued Daniel Levi (aka Brokerman Dan) and Tom Winnifrith for libel and also reported them to the FSA for market abuse and then accused them of market abuse and libel via an RNS. Sefton also briefed The Daily Telegraph that we were shorting the company for a monetary gain. All was part of their malicious Black propaganda campaign. Sefton is today negotiating with Dan and Tom.
It will be paying their costs in defending this case but also damages for defaming them. The only issue is how much will it be paying.
Those Bulletin Board Morons
4102 days ago
In what appears to be a company inspired campaign I see that the Bulletin Boards are suggesting that the pizza man (i.e. me) has run out of cash and that I am thus about to cave into Sefton and concede in the libel case. Jeepers. Since the posters involved have historically had a direct line to Sefton IR fuckwit Doctor Michael gopher Green, I assume the worst. With Sefton that has historically been a fair assumption to make.
For the avoidance of doubt. I have not run out of cash. As it happens, my employer (RMPC) booked revenues of just under £15,000 yesterday – the best day in its history. As such that part is total bollocks.
And when it comes to the case, Sefton has called just one witness and cannot at this stage call others. That witness was Jim Ellerton who is now a disgraced proven liar and a crook. The AIM team have said that he is not fit to sit on a PLC board. Wheels are turning in Colorado to ensure that he is charged with perjury (a 5 year stretch) for his 2008 deposition. His own lawyers say that he is thoroughly discredited and the Sefton case is in tatters. It IS running out of cash.
It is Sefton’s advisers that are reaching out to me (and Dan Levi) to agree a settlement which will involve SEFTON paying our costs. But the RNS issued by Sefton on 24 February 2013 about myself and Dan was clearly defamatory, malicious and untrue. The only question now is what damages we will obtain from Sefton to deal with that matter. And those discussions are underway as are discussions on the nature of the apology TO US FROM SEFTON.
I hope that is clear. Even to the gopher who is in enough trouble as it is and should put a cork in it as further aggravation will only make myself and Mr Levi more aggressive in our claims for damages.

At 7 AM a week ago liar and crook Jim Ellerton stepped down from the board of Sefton following the publication by me of documents showing that he was a liar and criminal. This was meant to be temporary pending a full investigation which we were told would mean that we would get an update “within one week”.Well guess frigging what?

Just a reminder that my Tomograph Newsletter goes out weekly with its Weekend edition set to go out tonight ( Monday). This week covers my new pin up ( Despina Vandi), Greece, and from one finacially bankrupt entity to another Sefton Resources. Moving from the financially bankrupt to the morally bankrupt I also cover Pinsent Masons, lawyers to Sefton - the AIM listed company run by liar and crook Jim Ellerton.
The only way to get all of that is to REGISTER HERE
Planned delivery time is Monday evening.

The more you dig the more you find with Sefton (SER). As such here are a couple of other items for Pinsents, Dr Ali, the NEDs and the Spiders from Mars to add to the internal investigation into liar and crook Jim Ellerton. And for the IRS to look into. I take you back to the 2005 Annual Report.

In light of the dynamite revelations from Dan Levi this afteroon HERE I have made a few adjustments to the Undertones classic Jimmy Jimmy and republish below
If you need a reminder of the classic original which has to be part of my all-time 200 the video is below:
With apologies to the Undertones:
Little Sefton boy
He was very very old
It took thirteen long years
To find what he had stole
Jimmy Jimmy
Jimmy Jimmy - Oooh
Jimmy Jimmy
Poor little Jimmy wouldn't let go
He'd stay awake at night
Lying in his bed
No one ever listened
To a single word he said
Jimmy Jimmy ...
Silly boy
Silly boy
Silly boy
Such a silly boy
Jimmy Jimmy ...
Now little Jimmy's gone
He disappeared one day
But no one saw the prison van
That took little Jim away

City law firm Pinsent Masons played its part in the Sefton dirty tricks campaign against Dan Levi and me with its infamous letter to the FSA trying to stop me writing about shares. To protect its bent client it tried (and failed) to deprive me of a living. And it then (at great expense to Sefton shareholders) tried to bully me in the libel courts. As such you might understand why I am not its greatest fan.
Pinsents tried to destroy me on its chosen playing field (the law). It failed. Now the rematch is set to take place on my chosen playing field – the internet and new media.
Pinsents disgraceful behaviour is now all over the internet. Those responsible for its new media promotion cannot be enjoying what they read. Its role in the Sefton scandal is now laid bare and my triumphant visit to its luxurious office with a glass of champagne is now a well watched video. The Times newspaper mentioned it in full and Pinsents must be squirming.
In case you missed it or ( better still) wish to pass on the link to everyone you know it is here
But still the fuckers will not withdraw their law suit (which they admit is in tatters). Still there is no apology. I am not asking senior partner Chris Mullen (hey Chris you now feature in google searches alongside a pic of a scantily clad Cheryl Cole which is not pornography and the word fraudster thanks to liar and fraudster Jim Ellerton) to come and grovel personally. But Chris, you could send along a few of the other partners to buy me a slap up dinner at RMPC or just write a public letter of apology.
Oh shite, Chris now appears on google searches next to the word pornography. Welcome Pinsent Masons to my chosen battleground of new media.
Meanwhile I know Pinsent Masons has spent a great deal of effort building up its twitter presence so if you are bored just head off to @pinsentmasons find any one of its worthy tweets and draft a suitable reply. As an example earlier today I found a tweet from PM
Financial firms to set targets for female board members - Linda Jones of @PinsentMasons talks to @BBCNews http://bbc.in/13cGpRN #ukemplaw
So naturally I replied (including both @pinsentmasons and @bbcnews)
@PinsentMasons @BBCNews how about as a priority ensuring boards do not have contain crooks like Pinsents star client Sefton @TomWinnifrith
If you having nothing else better to do this weekend, feel free to go and tweet a reply to one of the numerous dreary tweets sent out by Pinsents and bring some life to its twitter feed. I am sure that they will appreciate the gesture.

With its own lawyer, Russell Booker of Pinsent Masons, admitting that the Sefton libel case against myself and Dan Levi is in tatters with its sole witness ( liar and crook) Jim Ellerton having been booted off the board in disgrace and now ( in Booker’s words) “discredited,” the way is open for Dan Levi and myself to launch claims against Sefton. Will this sink the ship?
You will remember that Sefton issued an RNS on 24th February accusing us of libel AND market abuse. Via Company Secretary and IR genius Michael Green it also briefed Harriet Denys of the Telegraph (via two phone calls that Harriet has full notes of) that Dan was short of Sefton. Other folks are now coming forward revealing the full extent of the Sefton dirty tricks campaign against myself and Daniel.
As such Both Daniel and I have discussed with our (different) legal advisors not only the matter of recovering costs from Sefton but also now the matter of damages
4108 days ago
Another day and another RNS from Sefton Resources (SER) but with two names missing. The liar and crook Ellerton is off the board temporarily until he is fired permanently next week while PR guru Alex Walters of Cadogan has also been hung out to dry. As to the content it is pitiful and misleading. The fingerprints of IR buffoon Doc Green are all over this.
First up the company has raised cash via its death spiral but only £70,500 at 0.441p. That is dire. Last time the death spiral kicked in almost £700,000 was raised ( at 1.1p). Until Jimmy Liar is booted firmly into the long Hawaiian grass (or even better into a cell in the Denver Penitentiary) that will not change

The 666 shirt of investigative financial journalism is out of retirement for a few more days as liar and crook Jim Ellerton clings on to his corporate career for a bit longer. This morning he has stepped down from the board of Sefton (but will carry on as a consultant on full pay) because of “allegations made in two Internet publications against Jim Ellerton, the Company's Executive Chairman, and certain documentation received”
Sefton says that the NEDS will “In conjunction with the Company's lawyers and Nominated Adviser, conduct a full and thorough investigation into the alleged matters (the "Investigation"). Both Mr Ellerton and the Non Executives believes this will be in the best interests of the Company. The Company anticipates that it will be able to provide a further update to the market within one week as to the progress of the Investigation”
Heck, why not get Dr Ali to do the report to ensure really speedy delivery?

You should always end on a high. And I am on a high right now. Last night I exposed Jim Ellerton for the fraud and liar he is. The Nomad to Sefton (Allenby) has told me by email that if my initial allegations re the Dillabaugh case were proven either Allenby or Ellerton had to go. If it is the former the shares are suspended and won’t come back. If it is the latter the sole witness for Sefton in its libel trial against me will have resigned in disgrace. So I have won. I gather that the Sefton board is meeting this afternoon so, one way or another, the AIM career of Hawaii Jim is almost over.
I have already popped over to the offices of uber expensive bully boy City lawyers Pinsent Masons , champagne in hand, to record two short videos and when they go live that will be it from me.
Publicly I have put a brave face on this battle and on the Sefton dirty tracks campaign. But it has been a strain. I fear that there is not a cat in hell’s chance of me getting my costs back. Would I want to do this again or would I rather spend time with the bird, take up fishing again or do a bit of what I really want to do (goat farming)?
My priorities going forward are the restaurant, the UKInvestor Show, my partner (the deluded lefty) and my family, notably my step mother and ageing father - not necessarily in that order. As such the 666 shirt of investigative financial journalism united is (temporarily) retired. After today I shall confine my public comments on shares to my premium Nifty Fifty website. If you want to know my thoughts on shares pop along to Real Man Pizza and buy me a salad or subscribe to the Nifty Fifty
Shareprophets has 20 writers including younger investigative stars such as John Crawford and Ben Turney who I shall advise, if asked, but for now that is it from me on shares. The younger guys will take the battle against the AIM bad guys forward. I have a book to write (on Sefton), articles to write for this website on West Ham, Greece and other really important matters and a life to lead.
Thanks for your support since this battle commenced. My 36 hour drinkathon now continues and anyone who fancies coming along to Real Man tonight after 6 is more than welcome.

Jim Ellerton has tonight been exposed as a liar and a cheat. His position is untenable. I thus serve up my video postcard with a simple message to all involved in this pitiful affair. I Win! Fuck you Ellerton and fuck you Pinsent Masons for invoicing Sefton for so much in pursuit of a daft libel case you could not win. Your case is in tatters now as Ellerton is damned by his own words.
I shall be spending the next 36 hours proving that my partner's parents were right - I am a drunken Fleet Street bum. The celebrations will culminate at Real man Pizza where we offer half price champagne while stocks last from 6 PM tomorrow. Thereafter I shall sleep it all off and then plan a year's sabbatical from investigative financial journalism ( yes there wiull be a book Pinsents will be delighted to know) while I focus on more productive matters.

Jim Ellerton told his Nomad and his fellow directors that he had not under oath stated that Sefton had paid benefits to dentist Gary Dillabaugh to offset personal loans made by Gary to Jim. Jim Ellerton lied.
Under Oath in 2009 he claimed exactly that in Court. He also claimed that he lobbied Sefton Directors to give Gary the job with Sefton to compensate him for the loans.
Jim Ellerton will have to resign first thing tomorrow.
Jim Ellerton was to have been Sefton’s sole witness in the case of Sefton vs. Winnifrith and Sefton vs. Levi. I think you can safely say that Jim is toast, that libel case is in tatters and Sefton is almost certainly finished.
There will be 50% , off Champagne at Real Man Pizza Company in Clerkenwell

It is a fight to the death and it was hand to hand stuff on the front line today. For the Evil Empire Emperor Ellerton moved off the beaches of Hawaii and flew (at Sefton shareholder expense) to California. That left newly appointed company Secretary and IR genius Doc Gopher Green to lead the counter attack from his personal Shareprice death star.
Some of the Imperial strormtroopers in the BB Moron brigade of the Sefton army were hoping for a statement refuting weekend allegations, broadcast across the Galaxy by the rebel alliance. But that was not possible as the company is not in a position to refute anything. So instead Doc Gopher briefed a number of BB loons with the line: “all Sefton directors have been fully vetted by different nomads and nothing was found awry.”
That, of course, is NOT the same as a denial. Doc Gopher is not THAT stupid. And it is also meaningless as one of the Nomads immediately came forward and revealed to the intelligence officer of the Rebel Alliance that it had indeed commissioned independent due diligence on the Sefton board but that it was told that Ellerton/Dillabaugh was a personal matter and that Sefton did not disclose the Court case to it at all. Thus this did not feature in the due diligence.
Han Solo (played by Daniel Levi) then revealed that the non-execs on the Imperial board had now commissioned an independent enquiry into the activities of Darth Ellerton relating to the Ellerton case. And

I am often misquoted (by BB Morons) as saying that all Bulletin Board posters are morons. Far from it. Some are but the vast majority are not. And in that vein, I offer up a post from the ADVFN Sefton board which is pure poetry if a tad on the brutal side:

Apropos of nothing, I thought it time for a new version of an old classic
Picture yourself in a float on a river
With tapia trees and kan-as-as skies
Your broker calls you, you answer quite slowly
As Sefton’s share price slowly dies
Bogus production from Doctor Green
Cash all heading to Jim
Look for money shareholders have given
And its gone
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Follow the shares down to ever new lows
Where Jim spouts more and more lies
Everyone smiles as you slip past the strippers
That spout nothing at all
Pinsent Masons appears on the shore
Waiting to take you away
Climb in the back as it counts Sefton’s cash
And its gone
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Picture yourself with the shares now at zero
With Ellerton retired on the beach
Suddenly someone is there sat beside him
As Sefton’s share price quickly dies
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds

This is the video Sefton Resources (SER) is bullying ADVFN to remove. For every bullying email, letter or phone call I hear about I shall repost the video five times just to make sure no-one misses it. Viva Free Speech. The video is nine months old and you have to admit it is really prescient.

Anyone who invested £95,000 in Sefton Resources (SER) when it listed on AIM more than a decade ago would, if they tried to sell their shares tomorrow net £26.67 (before dealing costs). Meanwhile executive chairman Jim Ellerton lives in a multimillion dollar beachfront mansion in Hawaii. Thanks to fees, salary, “director cash advances” and share trades (not to mention loans from Gary Dillabaugh that he has not repaid) Jimmy has made around $7 million from Sefton since its IPO.
Chuck in NI payments, first class air fares to and from Hawaii for 13 years, 5 star hotel accommodation around the world at Sefton’s expense, the company car in Hawaii and the rest and Jim Ellerton has cost Sefton c$10 million. In light of this I offer you this picture and invite you to post suitable captions in the comments section below by 9 AM Friday or by when Sefton’s shares are suspended – whichever is sooner.
For what it is worth my entry is: “As he gazes from his bedroom window Jim Ellerton reminds himself that whatever his critics may say not all shareholders have lost everything.”
And remember that there is still time to win a Justice for the Sefton 2 T-shirt in the ShareProphets Jim Ellerton Gary Dillabaugh caption contest which you can find here.

It is now inevitable that shares in Sefton (SER) will be suspended from the AIM Cesspit within days. There are only two outcomes and either means that the game is up. It will leave its vexatious libel case against me in tatters, its bully boy lawyers Pinsent Masons ( who tried and failed to get the FSA to stop Dan and I writing about Sefton and indeed all shares in January) looking like total wankers and shareholders losing everything. And here is why.

I am more than a bit excited, the inner child in me is in control. The new season is upon us and I am off to Upton Park tomorrow. My old pal Neil Masuda (who as my babysitter made my sisters and I watch the FA Cup Final on the box when Sir Trevor scored with his head) will be coming along with his latest bird. Neil, as you may remember started his long and glorious career as a peddler of sleaze on Fleet Street by breaking the Howard Jones (like to get to know you well) three in a bed scandal when on his local paper.
Anyhow, myself, Neil and his bird will meet up at Real Man Pizza before heading to the Academy. Cardiff were promoted last season so anything could happen. With Andy Carroll injured it will be interesting to see who can actually get it in the net for the Irons. Anyway, another season is almost underway. Another 40 weeks of misery is upon me. Like an addict I cannot wait and as 3 PM looms and we start “I’m forever blowing bubbles.”
I am excited already. It is almost as much fun as asking the Serious Fraud Office to investigate Pinsent Masons and Sefton.

A source has today come forward shining light on the dismal failure that was Comtek Resources – Jim Ellerton’s first London listed company. In the exceedingly unlikely eventuality that Sefton (SER) and I meet in court in the great libel trial this source has agreed to come forward as yet another witness. His testimony is critical to those who think that Sefton has any balance sheet backing.

When did uber expensive Bully Boy City lawyers Pinsent Masons quit as Company Secretary to POS AIM listed company Sefton (SER)? We do not know. The Sefton website still showed the bully boys as Company Secretary earlier this week. But it has now stepped down (Nomad Allenby has confirmed this) to be replaced by IR genius Dr Michael Green.
The last man to be Co Sec and IR officer at Sefton at the same time was, of course, Colorado dentist Gary Dillabaugh. I have always wondered what sort of Doctor Michael Green was. Is he a dentist as well? Do you need a medical qualification to be the IR manager/Company Sec at Sefton? Questions, questions.
I wonder does Jim Ellerton also owe Doc Green hundreds of thousands of dollars? I suspect not but you never know in the crazy world of Sefton.

This letter was sent earlier today. I have not had a response. BB Loons may speculate on the balance sheet position of Sefton but I am not speculating since I have discussed the matter with Sefton's advisers and having taken expert accounting advice the position is crystal clear – Sefton shares should be suspended at once. Andy they may well be. The letter reads:
To: Allenby Capital, AIM Regulation, Pinsent Masons

AIM listed Sefton Resources (SER) which is suing me for libel announced on Tuesday that it which to buy a new steam flood steam generator for $2 million. The problem is that it does not have any cash and is losing money hand over fist. But I am a really nice guy and always keen to help.
I got an unsolicited email this morning which read:
Co-ordinator: 72hniw duds"
Heck Sefton's need is greater than mine and so I have passed it on to the company - it can have my share of the $11.3 million. But heck Sefton a sharp cookies. M<aybe this is one of the 3rd party funders it referred to in the statement and it is ahead of me.
Anyhow, it just goes to show what a damned nice guy I am.

I read some BB poster ( not a loon) saying that the regulators now have to get involved in the battle between myself & Dan Levi and AIM Cesspit posterboy Sefton Resources (SER). Well fear not Mr Poster – they already are involved. And it is not Dan or myself that are in the firing line.
I initiated the call today to the AIM regulation team. It is not the first time I have spoken to the Sefton case officer. Geddit- case officer. Sefton is under investigation.
Sefton has been in AIM’s spotlight since the AIM team were informed by Fox Davies that it wanted to quit as Nomad and why it wanted to quit as Nomad. As such the AIM team knows full well that I shall win my libel case. But the game has moved on. The focus is now on what Jim Ellerton told a Colorado Court in April 2009 under oath and why that means that he is not a fit and proper person to be director of an AIM listed company. Emails and phone calls between Denver and London are flying thick and fast today (or they will when Denver wakes up shortly).
Jim Ellerton is right now in Hawaii slumbering next to the foxy Carol. He will not wake up for a good few hours. Things is now moving fast and he will awake to a firestorm.
I am appalled that AIM Regulation has not acted more decisively and publicly against Sefton. That, I sense, could be about to change as the City establishment swings firmly and openly behind myself and Dan as as new facts emerge. A greater involvement by AIM Regulation…bring it on.

Sefton (SER) has issued a trading statement. Given the widespread comment as to its (lack of) cash position you would have thought it would clarify that matter. Its failure to do so is damning. There is either a placing (heavily discounted – shall we say 0.25p?) looming or, in the very likely scenario that no placing can be got away, this company is toast. My calculations suggest that cash net of current liabilities/trade receivables is nil or worse – can Sefton clarify this as a matter of extreme urgency?
The company also declined to comment on the matters arising from the Gary Dillabaugh revelations of yesterday. Again one has to ask why? The answer: because it knows that there is no answer. Jim Ellerton has been rumbled and exposed.
And so what was said? The best I save to the end but…

Some of the Bulletin Board loons out there seem to think that the City is on the side of Sefton Resources (SER) in its libel battle with myself and Dan Levi. Au contraire…our big name backers grow by the day. And today came a fascinating endorsement which should make Sefton supporters as well as its uber expensive bully boy City lawyers Pinsent Masons think long and hard.
I posted an open letter via video this afternoon to the AIM regulation team calling on it to suspend Sefton shares pending a full investigation. Heading over to LinkedIN (Facebook for grown-ups) I see that this video has been “liked” by Tim Metcalfe.
I am not sure if I have ever met Mr. Metcalfe but I know full well who he is and he is incredibly well regarded in the Square Mile as a good and honest operator. He is currently joint CEO of the highly regarded City Corporate Finance house Zeus Capital. But until last year he was MD at Northland Partners. And that is where he knows Sefton from because Northland used to act for Sefton as its Nomad until the two parted company.
Why did the two firms part company? Hmmm.. The fact that Mr. Metcalfe likes my call to have Sefton shares suspended might just give you a hint. Fox Davies was Sefton’s next Nomad and it quit because it felt that Sefton was deliberately misleading investors. I already have the head of Fox Davies called as a witness in the forthcoming libel trial to testify to that. But perhaps there is a pattern emerging here? Do you think Mr. Metcalfe would make an interesting witness in the great libel trial?
Or perhaps now that the City is publically starting to back me the AIM Cesspit Regulation team will finally do something to end this farce once and for all and suspend the shares pending a full enquiry.
Tim – feel free to get in touch at any time.

I have this morning sent a letter to Nick Harriss, a good man, who is in charge of the Sefton account at its Nomad Allenby. I have sent him a copy of the Dillabaugh vs. Ellerton 2009 judgement. I urge him in friendship to consider whether Allenby can remain as Nomad to Sefton in light of what has emerged today - see my earlier piece here.
My letter went by email but it is an open letter so I have recorded what was written on video for you all to watch as the AIM Cesspit plumbs new depths.

So far I have been nice to AIM Cesspit posterboy Sefton (SER) but now it is gloves off time as I reveal how Sefton boss Jim Ellerton swore on oath in Court in 2009 that he had cleared personal debts of hundreds of thousands of dollars using Sefton cash. And I have obtained and attach the document that verifies this shock revelation.
Jim could not even get that right. The Court rejected his evidence with the judge noting “defendant Ellerton’s testimony was not believable” and that “defendant Ellerton is not credible in regard to his testimony” but none the less the fact is that Jim Ellerton did not admit to using Sefton cash for personal matters, but swore on oath that he had done so.
The case is Ellerton vs. Dillabaugh, a Colorado dentist who loaned Ellerton over a period of years c$400,000 and was then made Sefton company secretary and IR manager.

A week away and much to my surprise there has been no news from Sefton Resources (SER), the AIM Cesspit listed POS that is suing me for libel. I see the shares are now at 0.475p, under the MA line which in charting terms, I am told, means they are a mammoth sell ( upside is capped at the MA) the initial target price would be 0.275p. Charting is bollocks. And, in this case, generous, my target price remains 0.01p. But there are two howling questions for Sefton.

A difficult moment arose today as I returned my daughter Olivia to her mother Big Nose after a week in Kent. For some reason Big Nose was worried that I might humiliate her by wandering into her offices at Pinsent Masons wearing an inappropriate T-shirt, holding the hand of Dan Levi or just being a general embarrassment. For Big Nose is a partner at Pinsents, lawyers to the scumbags at Sefton who are accusing me of libel.
And so I arranged to meet her at Liverpool Street Station for the handover. Olivia and I arrived on time and called in but Big Nose was in a meeting. Then she had an urgent call and so I was instructed by her secretary to take Olivia over to the lion’s den, the global HQ of Pinsent Masons. Ooooo er. I could hardly contain my excitement.

In answer to the reader's direct question: Yes we did clean the table after I stood on it. So post your captions in the comments section below. The deadline for entries is - as usual - 9 AM on Friday.
For what it is worth my entry is:

AIM Cesspit posterboy Sefton Resources (SER) which is suing me for libel has got no money and is burning cash. It is therefore must do to an equity placing or death spiral drawdown pronto to survive and so has put out its second RNS in two weeks which is not only a ramp but a piss poor ramp to boot. Focus on: how it spins falling output how it announces the same thing twice and how it spins the fact that yet again it cannot publish Comical Ali’s steam flooding report. And remember this is a ramp ahead of a placing which will have to be at a big discount to the current share price.

Some of the Bulletin Board loons seems to have expected me to be in prison or bankrupted by this afternoon after round 1 of Sefton vs. Tom Winnifrith in the High Court. Oddly there were three policeman waiting outside the chambers of Master Kay when we emerged but they were not looking for me. But I am sorry to disappoint the loons…this case is not going to be settled, if indeed Sefton is still around, until 2014.
The matters today were purely procedural. When must Sefton disclose various matters and what must it disclose. Who can or cannot be called as expert witnesses. How a certain key witness who destroys the case against me will be introduced. That sort of thing.
Sefton’s barrister was silky. I rather enjoyed it when he talked of the libel and Master Kay interrupted with “alleged libel.” He took the put down well. Sefton’s lawyer from Pinsent Masons (Ms Skinner)

Sefton Resources (SER) and I will be seeing each other in Court in just under three hours. But the company has today wasted more shareholders cash and contacted ADVFN asking that it remove the spoof Sefton downfall video arguing that it is a bit naughty... Ooooh er missus.
I have advised ADVFN to take it down. This is my battle. But I’d hate for you not to enjoy the video and so in case you missed it first time around. Here it is. As financial comedy goes it is pretty good IMHO. Almost as funny as the Sefton RNS 24 hours before its last placing when it said output had risen when in fact it had fallen.
Sefton...I do not think you understand this interwebby thing do you.
See you in Court at 2.30 PM bitchez!

Jim Ellerton of Sefton Resources still owes former Sefton Company Secretary Gary Dillabaugh $600,000 from a court case more than two years ago. It is Jim's defence in that case that will, IMHO, sink him but this is a story that is only just getting going.
The powder keg is under Sefton it is just a matter of when I choose to light the fuse. Hmmm I guess I shall let folks sweat a bit more and Sefton piss more cash away on its uber expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons. After all my daughter Olivia's mother is a partner at PM and so naturally I want her firm to rake in as much as possible.
But as I prepare to go to Court today I have designed a breand new T-shirt for the occassion to remind the Sefton team of that powder keg.

A couple of days ago my pal Brokerman Dan a co-defendant in the Sefton libel trial) had his twitter account suspended. He had not been abusing it by follow/unfollow tactics of spammers (he follows only 42 souls) so why was it suspended?
Yesterday Dan and his solicitor contacted twitter saying that he does not break any rules of twitter but is involved with a libel trial which he expects to win against Sefton. He asked twitter if the suspension was prompted by complaints and a request to block Dan from Sefton or its uber expensive bully boy City lawyers Pinsent Masons.

Ellerton vs Dillabaugh is a fascinating case. Jim Ellerton borrowed $400,000 from Gary Dillabaugh, a Colorado dentist who also seems to have been Company Secretary for Sefton Resources (SER). Ellerton refused to repay the loan. I described the other day how this went to Court and what the state of play is today.
But I now make a generous offer to Jim Ellerton.

This came out yesterday but this story is, as they say, developing. There is more to follow. I shall be online solidaly within a day or so. Internet connection here is dire. But there is more to come...
I am staying in a Greek village where tomorrow I learn how to milk goats. There is no internet. But I have a phone and today I received a call from Gary Dillabaugh, the former company secretary of AIM Cesspit listed Sefton Resources (SER) which exposes Sefton boss Jim Ellerton as a chancer and a rogue.
I have been tracking down Dillabaugh for weeks and so getting that call is a moment I have looked forward to for some time. Hence, I have made my way to the seaside, borrowed a laptop and now reveal all. Just because I am on holiday the AIM bad guys should not sleep soundly.
What follows should be enough to question whether Ellerton is fit to run a public company.

I see that my recent articles on Bulletin Board Morons have unleashed a firestorm of anonymous abuse various from Bulletin Board Morons. As I wandered along the beach and enjoyed a very nice grilled octopus lunch I pondered whether the morons have a point? For about five seconds.
The morons of course never post under their own names and then proceed to say whatever they wish. If I had a penny for every time I had received abuse from the morons over the years I could buy half of Greece. Perhaps these days I could pick up the whole country. Hidden behind the mask of anonymity they say what they like.
That is fine by me. Airstrip One is a free country. Well sort of. But please do not expect me to regard dishing out abuse without revealing your identity as courageous in any way.
Among writers (i.e. those who earn money from writing in their own name) I am a little unusual in that I am happy to dish out the abuse back. I do so in my own name. And sometimes in quite a witty manner. The BB Morons however think that this is all shocking.
Some feel I should show bravery by going onto BB threads and posting as myself. Hmmmmm.

Over on the ADVFN Sefton thread it appears that one or two folks have a few bad things to say today about Jim Ellerton and Sefton Resources (SER) following Brokerman Dan’s shocking new revelations (which you can read here) and my own expose which you can read here.
But Sefton has its defenders. Jellyman 2 lashes out at one critic with this post:
To have contempt for je and sefton is fine, IF you are a holder and are loosing ££££'s. But to spout bollox and ridicule people for losing money shows what small minded, lowlife animal fuckers you really are!!!!!! and all because your gay lovers bmd and tw ARE too SCARED to post here.
Cripes. I think I am pretty open minded when it comes to sex. My partner is after all from the Grim North and is a Guardian reader. I mean how frigging tolerant does that make me?
But a gay threesome involving Dan Levi and some unnamed BB poster? Dan is a very nice fellow but there are limits to my metrosexual liberal open mindedness.
But what is it with BB Morons that they think that being gay is some sort of word of abuse? You will remember that some other BB Moron insisted that I spent my life in gay bath-houses (I have never been to one in my life, for the avoidance of doubt).
There is nothing wrong with being gay. It is not an insult. It is not something to be ashamed of. Now outing yourself as a Sefton shareholder on the other hand… yuk. But I suppose Sefton shareholders are adults who have consented to being financially buggered. If that’s what floats their boat…

I ask you to cast your mind back to November 2012. The 15thto be exact. It was when AIM Cesspit listed Sefton Resources (SER) announced the acquisition of new oil operating assets in Kansas. It was all terribly exciting stuff.
The company stated that in an RNS of that day:
Competent Person Dr Nafi Onat has made a study of the oil fields in Northeast Kansas for Sefton, from which detailed information was announced on 12 March 2012. Below are some of the key points that he has made on the potential of this area for oil and gas production.
Analysis of 320 wells on 23 McLouth fields reveals initial average production was approximately 27 bopd and 350mcfg per well during the first month of production. Based on completion reports and deliverability tests, initial gas producing fields varied from 150 mcfg to 2mmcfg per day.
Frigging hell. Sefton paid only $200,000 for these assets and what is that about 27 bopd in month 1? Cripes this sounded exciting.
On December 7th 2012 Sefton issued shares to stop it going bust by Christmas. It raised c £700,000. But heck with those exciting Kansas wells surely this was a winner. Hmmmmm.
Now wind forward to this month

AIM Cesspit listed Sefton Resources (SER) has today announced that its June output in Kansas reached 500 barrels. That is up from 450 in May. That sounds good but I suggest that you do the maths because when you do you will realise just how dire this performance is.

The wine flowed freely at the AIM Cesspit 2013 awards dinner. My hangover was reported in the Daily Telegraph by some dim bird who could not spell Knievil (as in Evil) correctly and who appears to manage about two factual errors a paragraph. But she was right about the hangover.
The next morning I felt rather sorry for myself as I struggled to work. I also felt rather sorry for Sefton Resources (SER) as it picked up three of the five awards. Since the shortlists were decided by the votes of hundreds of private investors as were the actual awards I suppose one cannot argue with Sefton picking up trophies for: AIM Cesspit Entrepreneur of the Year (value destroyer) – Jim Ellerton of Sefton Resources and AIM Cesspit CEO Pig of the year (pay out of line with performance) – Jim Ellerton of Sefton Resources.

On 29th January the Daily Telegraph ran a piece suggesting that my pal Brokerman Dan was short of Sefton Resources (SER) and that is why he was writing bearish pieces. The source of that story which was untrue was Alex Walters who acts for Sefton as its PR man. The journalist at the Telegraph has contemporaneous notes of the conversation. The paper has now withdrawn the article and apologised to Dan for its role in this i.e. being duped.
On February 25th Sefton announced that it was suing myself and Dan for legal action but also that it had received legal advice that we had breached the Financial Services and Markets Act of 2000 and that it had reported us to the FSA. Dan obtained the letter sent by Sefton’s lawyers Pinsent Masons on 14 January using a FOI request. It took him two minutes to respond and the FCA has now confirmed to Dan that the matter is closed – he has done nothing wrong. It was a spurious and malicious complaint against him (and also me).
I have also explained to the FSA (and to Pinsent Masons) why the compliant was spurious and frankly anyone with a basic understanding of the FSMA would know why it was spurious. As such, to suggest that we had breached the FSMA in a public release was damaging and defamatory. Sefton may regard it as part of a legitimate dirty tricks campaign but I am not sure anyone else would.
Sefton Resources and its agent (Alex Walters) have clearly committed not one but two acts of libel against Dan (also myself). I hope that Sefton will issue an RNS apologising in full to myself and Dan and I’d happily drop the matter there. But I am aware that Daniel is now considering suing Sefton for libel should an apology not be forthcoming.
4172 days ago
And so someone I respect told me yesterday that I was hated in the City. Not by everyone but in certain quarters. Tell me something I didn’t know. Apparently some folks feel that saying nasty things about companies, advisors, PR firms etc. is just despicable. “Other journalists don’t do it…why do you?” And it gets better.
Apparently this person was told by a well-respected City group not to be seen to work with me because I was being sued for libel by Sefton. To give them credit they did ask the City Group if they knew about the case and was told no. There was just the assumption that if listed company issues libel proceedings then the person it is suing must be a baddun.
Where do you start here? Without commenting on the specifics of this case I would point out that I have had legal proceedings threatened and commenced before. The companies who tried it on before have all disappeared or been censured (in the end) because they were liars or crooks or both. Any trade body/City group which in a blinkered fashion believes that companies always tell the truth and so without doing any research automatically sides with the company in such matters is frankly a joke organisation. Perhaps these folks have never heard of Robert Maxwell or Asil Nadir or Bernie Madoff? Some companies are bent…just accept it.
And so why write articles which point out that certain shares are overvalued, that certain companies are – if one analyses their published statements – running out of cash or that certain companies have issued RNS statements that are verifiably false or over optimistic? Let me think for about fifteen seconds:

Sefton Resources (SER) – the AIM Cesspit company that is suing me for libel – has served up May output data from its Kansas operations. At least we will not have to suffer much more of this rubbish as it is 20 seconds to midnight on the great cashburn clock. Tick Tock Tick Tock.
Sefton boasts that output in May rose from 400 barrels in March and April to 450 barrels. Of course it only has a 42% working interest and so on a $30 margin (including transport costs) that will have generated a gross profit for Sefton of about $5600. Chuck in Sefton’s additional admin costs and I very much doubt that it was in the black on this business.
And then, of course, there is the capex. Getting each of these old wells onstream required $15,000 or more. It strikes me that payback will be… er… quite some time.
So how many wells were onstream in April and how many in May? Er

My old pal Dan Levi named the Downing Street shaggers on his website last night and so since we are both being sued elsewhere (by a cesspit oil company Sefton) for libel I am happy to stand in the dock with him again and also name them. As it happens numerous other websites and folks on twitter have done the same so it will be a packed Court.
I am Spartacus and I hope others will today be Spartacus forcing Cameron to come clean and admit what vast numbers of people already know.
The Government has bullied the mainstream media into silence by suggesting that revealing this may prejudice the forthcoming trials of Brooks and Coulson. Both face separate charges in relation to phone hacking. I fail to see why allegations that the two were shagging is relevant to that.
The reason the Government and David Cameron personally is terrified about this appearing is that he appointed Coulson as his spin doctor in chief instead of a safer pair of hands from the BBC on the advice of….the charming Rebekah. Rebekah was a good pal of his, lending him her horse to ride as they partied together in rural Oxfordshire. LOL.
And of course Rebekah’s lawyer is….David Cameron’s big brother Alex.
Cameron looks like a buffoon with incredibly poor judgment. Chatting to Christopher Booker about this yesterday we remarked how this seemed eerily reminiscent of the last days of the MacMillan Government. An out of touch elite just cannot help but make itself look dirty and shabby as well as incompetent. While the Country faces appalling problems, Tory MPs like Patrick Mercer take bribes and then “do the honourable thing” and stay in Westminster trousering salary + expenses for another two years and Call Me Dave tries to hush up an episode which makes his judgment look incredibly poor.
The honourable thing for Call Me Dave to do is to make a personal statement: “these are the facts, I made an error of judgment for which I apologise – I was hoodwinked, and regret it all.”
If he did that I suspect many of us might almost feel sorry for him. Trying to hush up something that, by the weekend, even crofters married to their cousins on otherwise uninhabited Scottish islands will know, arouses only contempt.
Parliament works for us not the other way round...or had you forgotten that Dave?

How do you fancy hearing talks and jokes from Evil Knievil and Lucian Miers?
How do you fancy seeing the 2013 AIM Cesspit awards handed out to the companies and CEOs who have made the bottom end of AIM the joke that it is?

The awards will be handed out at a dinner at the Real Man Restaurant in Clerkenwell. Our guests of honour who will both give talks on the night are bear raiders Evil Knievil and Lucian Miers who will discuss fraud and investor deception on AIM.
We will announce the 2013 AIM Cesspit awards to those CEOs or companies who have done most to discredit the market over the previous 12 months.
There is a special menu for the day.
The total cost for the evening is £75, 80% of which will go towards the costs of battling Sefton and one or two other AIM listed companies that seem not to like facing the cold light of truth.
I look forward to seeing you on the 24th in Clerkenwell.

I can reveal exclusively that at last things are starting to happen on the regulatory front when it comes to AIM Cesspit listed Sefton Resources (SER) – the AIM regulation unit is now conducting multiple investigations into the company.
Sefton has admitted misleading investors as to its oil production levels and trend just 24 hours before a rescue placing on March 6th 2013 – something that is a clear and mammoth breach of AIM rules. It is suing me for libel for accusing it of misleading investors on a number of occasions in recent years. Until now it appears that the authorities have not done anything but that seems to be changing.
I can reveal that last week

On the AIM Cesspit unusual share price movements ahead of statements are par for the course. Of course nothing is ever awry. This is a market where a company can issue a statement that it is completely untrue and face no sanction (Verdes – see here) and indeed do a placing 24 hours after issue an untrue RNS (Sefton on March 6th see here) and again there is no sanction. There are no rules on the Cesspit. And that brings me to Arian Silver (AGQ).
Its shares raced ahead in the two sessions prior to lunchtime today gaining some 35% to 6.25p. And then it issued dismal quarterlies with a dire warning that worse may be to come and the shares fell sharply back to 5.5p. Why did the shares move so sharply ahead of the numbers? Who was buying? On what information? As it is an irregular price movement no doubt it is being investigated but clearly nothing was wrong (it never is on the Cesspit) and so nothing will happen.
But let’s not get distracted from the numbers and the accompanying statement. The former are utterly dismal. The latter even worse.
In the first quarter to March 31st the company had a bit of a disagreement with the chappy who processes its silver on a toll basis. And thus revenues were nil. Helped by $700,000 of PLC costs the company racked up a net loss of $935,000. How the xxxx

I am still seething at how fundamentally AIM Cesspit posterboy Sefton Resources (SER) tried to hoodwink the market with the way it presented its results yesterday. In a near 25 year career I have never seen anything like it. It is truly scandalous.
I analysed the results in detail here.
The key point is that Sefton issued an RNS which it admitted was not IFRS compliant in that it omitted all the notes to the accounts. The full statement appeared only on its website. Only real anoraks like me bothered to read it. 99.9% of investors just read the RNS.
Thus the RNS boasted of how Sefton was profitable (albeit only just). Nowhere in the RNS was it mentioned that a material amount of the cost of employing staff, directors and consultants was capitalised (i.e. added to the balance sheet as an asset rather than run through the P&L). It is hard to know where to start with the 2012 Annual Results from AIM Cesspit listed director lifestyle, ooops meant to say oil production, company Sefton Resources (SER) there is so much in them that begs questions rather than providing real knowledge. But suffice to say: the outlook is grim.
But let’s start with Note 1 which is a Sefton classic: “The summary financial statements set out above have been prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”). These summary financial statements do not constitute financial statements in accordance with IFRS as they omit substantially all the disclosures required by IFRS. A full set of audited financial statements will be published prior to Sefton’s Annual General Meeting and will be available at www.seftonresources.com”
In other words there are a series of disclosures here which are not on the RNS. But if you go over to the Sefton website all the disclosures are in there. Why go to the bother of producing two separate documents? Er… because most folks will just read the RNS. This is just utterly classic Sefton.
So what little horrors are being hidden away? Well let’s start with note 5.

AIM Cesspit pin-up boy Sefton Resources is suing me for libel over my oft repeated claims that it misled investors principally with regard to oil output last summer and that this caused its then adviser Fox Davies to do the honourable thing and resign.

On Thursday I sent a letter by email to Sefton Resources (SER) boss Jim Ellerton asking him to apologise to me for his company's smear campaign against me and to make a small personal donation to the excellent Woodlarks Charity. I have yet to gain a reply or even an acknowledgement. As such I have sent a second letter and at the same time ask a couple more questions which either Sefton has neglected to answer or I have neglected to ask.
This letter is sent via Sefton’s lawyers at Pinsent Masons since I do not know whether Jim is currently in residence at his multi-million dollar Hawaii mansion or is in London, maximising shareholder value.

I revealed some weeks ago how AIM Cesspit listed oil company Sefton Resources (SER) had instigated a smear campaign against its two principal critics, myself and Daniel Levi (aka Brokerman Dan). It is suing us for libel but has also engaged in underhand smear tactics. This has backfired as the Daily Telegraph has now confirmed to my comrade Mr Levi who, how and when Sefton played this sordid game.
As such I can reveal that Dan Levi will be filing a Solicitors letter with Sefton within days seeking a public retraction and potentially leading to a claim for vast damages for defamation. He has already agreed with Sefton’s uber-expensive City lawyer Pinsent Masons how this will be served.
Ooooh that Dan plays hardball. He is such a gritty Northern hard man.
I am, of course, a really nice guy and like to handle things on an amicable basis.
And as such I have simply dropped Sefton boss Jim Ellerton a friendly note

Just a reminder that my Tomograph Newsletter goes out bi-weekly with its Midweek edition set to go out today by Noon.
This is the only way to get an alert to my free share tip of the week.
This issue will also give an update on the AIM Cesspit campaign plus a plea for potential assistance as I consider legal action against Sefton Resources, its directors and advisors now that it has been shown how it contrived to libel me.
The only way to get all of that is to REGISTER HERE

I reported some weeks ago how Sefton Resources (SER) had tried to smear its critic Daniel Level (aka Brokerman Daniel) who is – like me being sued for libel by the joke AIM company – by planting an untrue story in the Daily Telegraph of January 29th.
The story suggested that Dan was being beastly to Sefton as he was short. The Daily Telegraph has today apologized to Dan and withdrawn the offending article on the grounds that it was untrue.
But it gets better.

On 9th April AIM listed Sefton Resources (SER) issued an RNS in which it stated explicitly that March output data from its California field was 3,208 barrels (103 bopd) and that this data had been reported to DOGGR, The California State supervisor.
March output was thus lower than February (104 bopd) and January (111 bopd) and December (133 bopd).
My question is this
4223 days ago
Commissioned researcher Hardman is paid by companies to publish “independent research” on them. Oddly its research reports on its paying clients rarely come to the conclusion that the client company is overvalued.
Even if that client is Sefton Resources (SER). But at least you expect “research” to report the facts accurately, otherwise it just becomes PR and has no value whatsoever. And so I refer to notes published on March 6th and early April by Hardman. And to the note that Hardman should have published but has not.
The March 6th note bangs on about how output in California in February rose from 111 bopd in January to 123 bopd. Even Sefton only claimed 118 bopd in its release of March 5th

AIM listed joke oil company Sefton Resources (SER) is suing myself and my fellow journalist Daniel Levi (aka Brokerman Dan) for libel. It will lose and it knows it. But I can now start to reveal the dirty tricks campaign organised by Sefton in a deliberate attempt to smear and discredit myself and Dan. This will shock you.
Sefton had no need to sue me for libel. It could have issued an RNS to refute my specific allegations. It opted not to because it knows that they are 100% true: This Company has on a serial basis mislead investors. And so it is using vast amounts of shareholders cash pursuing a legal case. It knows it cannot win and that this will be buried in the Courts for ages – it is merely an attempt to silence myself and Dan and to imply that we are telling porkies, to discredit us.

Sefton Resources (LSE:SER), the tin pot oil company that its suing me for libel because I pointed out how on a serial basis it has misled investors ( down 99.9% since IPO) over the years admitted after hours (5.44 PM) yesterday that it misled investors 24 hours ahead of a placing last month – as I flagged at the weekend. It now wants us to move on and yet again promises a brighter future.
I find it hard to see how this admission, dragged out of it by myself and Brokerman Dan will add to its credibility in the forthcoming trial and I cannot see how AIM can let this go unpunished. So what is the guilty confession from Sefton?

Loverat (ADVFN Sefton thread) posts:
Well, that pretty much backs up what I have been saying for a while. The shorters and derampers (masquerading as tipsters) are organising another attack on an AIM company. I have to say, I reckon the confirmation that Cawkwell is shorting not only confirms he is joined at the hip with Winnifrith, but it has just strengthened the company's complaints to the FSA/FCA.
Jeepers. If I was in cahoots with the old fool Cawkwell he would have gone short BEFORE I wrote God knows how many pieces on Sefton not AFTER. Cawkwell is short now because he has finally woken up to the fact that after the latest RNS lie 24 hours ahead of a placing by Sefton it is toast.
The company’s complaints to the FSA/FCA about me have about as much merit as those made by Minmet or 3DM and we all know what happened there…
Loverat – just how thick are you? Sefton issued a statement about its output which was a blatant lie on March 5th. It then issued shares in a placing the next day! You think that the FSA/FSC are looking at what I have written about this and not at Sefton? Jeepers again.
4245 days ago
We know that the regulators are looking at Sefton and today my good pal Dan Levi (aka Brokerman Daniel) has asked them to widen the scope of their investigation into this hopeless little company which I exposed at the weekend as lying about its output on March 5 a day before getting a share placing away.
Dan's official letter to the regulators can be viewed here
Of course it is the Nomad Allenby Capital which signed off on the misleading RNS of 5th March. I am yet to receive an answer to my question to Allenby: "were you complicit in misleading investors or were you misled by Sefton?"
If it is the former Allenby should be handing in its licenses. If it is the latter Allenby should be handing in its resignation as Sefton's Nomad with immediate effect. It is that simple. Over to you Allenby...

My only question is why it took Britain’s fattest bear raider so long to go short of Sefton (SER)? But it appears that Evil is now short. He has posted the following on the ADVFN Bulletin Board today:
Gentlemen,
I have shorted Sefton this morning. Surely, the situation is hopeless. It has perhaps £600,000 left (wasting money on fanciful litigations and God alone knows what other drivel) and is spending it at £200,000 a month whilst showing no prospect of trading at a profit before overheads. Only a lunatic would hold shares. Certainly, no sane Nomad will stay with Sefton.
Simon Cawkwell
Ends.
I think EK has got his sums wrong. I reckon that cash net of liabilities (including huge legal bills round at Pinsent Masons) is now sub £500,000. But Evil is correct on the cashburn (in fact he may be underestimating it). I reckon that my target price of 0.01p or worse will be reached by June, that is if the shares are not suspended – as they should be – first.
The share price is now at an all-time low of 0.465p. It is only going one way.

This is so blatant. I cannot see how the authorities are failing to tackle Sefton Resources (LSE:SER). If the company’s uber expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons wish to bully me again go ahead – you know where to send your letter and you know where I will file it. But once again Sefton has been caught with its knickers around its ankles misleading investors and it did so less than 5 weeks ago and 24 hours ahead of a rescue share placing. If I was a client of Dowgate stockbrokers I would be demanding my cash back from the most recent placing first thing tomorrow. This is a black and white case. To Sefton I say: Gotcha!

The prize in this week's Caption Contest is a bottle of English "champagne" signed by myself - the catch is that I shall hand it over at the UK Investor Show next Saturday 13th April. If you are not there to collect I shall drink it myself.
The caption required is for this picture - something I received in the post on Thursday.
For what it is worth my entry is:
"The board of Sefton Resources/ College Group PR confuse the birthdays of the two Tom Winnifrith's"
If you can do better please post your entries in the comments section below by the morning of Friday 12th April.
Last week I asked you for captions to this contest in the Kay Larsen, College Group PR, pornography and sheep shagging edition. There was no prize to be awarded anyway it was just a chance to get a few more google search terms in there for Kay.
And so the winner, according to the independent judge is the Evil son of deluded lefties with:
Sheep One: I just want to talk about pornography
The ram in the middle: I just want to shag some sheep
Sheep Two: I only read articles about Advanced Computer Software which Kay Larsen says that I should
Good luck & I look forward to presenting a prize on April 13th

Under the UK’s libel laws if one is served with a libel writ one must file your defence with the High Court but also with the Plaintiff or whichever lawyer is acting for them. And so this morning Brokerman Dan sent his 1200 page skeletal (i.e. there is more to come) defence over to Helen Skinner, the lawyer at uber-expensive City firm Pinsent Masons which is acting for Sefton Resources.
Oh dear. Ms Skinner replies that Pinsent Masons systems cannot cope with an XPS or text file (they are “not compatible with our systems”) and so can Dan reformat as a PDF or send over a hard copy? I doubt that he will. He is not obliged to. My super cheap laptop can open an XPS or text file and so with Partners at Pinsent Masons on a charge out rate of £750 an hour I suggest that they splash out £420 on a cheapo laptop ( with all licenses) at PC World.
This begs a further question? Will Ms Skinner bill Sefton for her time in sending a letter to Dan ‘fessing that her firm’s IT systems are not as capable as my £420 laptop (with full licenses) from PC World. Pinsent Masons normally charges for a minimum of ½ hour slots and so if Dan can keep this conversation going for another couple of emails then Skinner can trot down to PC World buy the laptop and effectively stiff Sefton’s lucky shareholders with the bill. Problem solved.
Do you think I should invoice Pinsent Masons for my consultancy on this matter? Er that will be ½ hour at £750 an hour – call it two snotty emails to Dan on behalf of Sefton. I cannot say fairer than that.
Of course Pinsent Masons also earns large fees acting as company secretary to Sefton. I shall be turning to this matter and claims made on the Sefton website next week. Watch this space.

AIM listed joke company of the year 2001-2013, Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) has this morning released an independent valuation of its Kansas reserves which can only be described as laughable. It is back to its old pal Dr Onat for this corker. It defies belief that anyone should fall for this baloney but here goes.

As you may know I have every episode of the 1970s drama The Sweeney on DVD. The classic Thaw/Waterman series may well be my specialist subject if I get onto the second round of Mastermind having chosen “misleading RNS statements by Sefton Resources 2009-2013” as my first round topic. But for some reason I missed the Ray Winstone movie when it came out last year. I think that is because it was so dreadful that it closed in most cinemas after about one day.
I am braced for it being absolutely dire. But a DVD has been on sale in my local CO-OP for about three weeks at a bargain price with no takers. As I have walked past I have felt an urge to put it out of its misery and buy the damned thing. And today I could resist the urge no longer. And so assuming that I can work out how to use the DVD player, tonight’s post work treat (still another 10 hours to go on that front) will be a grand showing of this great film. I will be back with my thoughts tomorrow.

Once upon a time Bulletin Board were meant to be places where folks swapped thoughts and rumours on shares. My own defence against the spurious libel claims made against me by joke oil company Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) went in weeks ago. But today I have the good news that Brokerman Dan has filed his defence. It forms only part of his argument but already runs to 1200 pages of documents which poses an interesting question for Sefton, as Dan promises me that he has far more to come.
Uber-expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons will now have to read every single page of Daniel’s submission. And its charge out rates are, I believe £500-750 an hour. Having read it all in detail missing nothing out it then has to submit its own response

AIM listed oil stock Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is suing me for libel - it wants to shut me up. As this process drags on I shall under disclosure rules be asking for an awful lot of documents and emails as, I imagine will Brokerman Dan who is also being sued by Sefton and its uber-expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons. But to save Sefton some time later, there are some matters relating to its pipeline assets in Leavenworth County Kansas which its paid for cheerleaders at Hardman, Edison, etc. have flagged as having exciting upside about which I ask the questions now. It goes without saying that these assets are - despite what Hardman, Edison tell you - essentially worthless and here is why.

I had a day off yesterday from Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) the joke AIM listed oil production company that is suing me for libel. But this morning I am sent, by a pal on the West Coast, a little snippet which I thought might interest you. It concerns Thomas (Tom) George Milne who was appointed a non exec director on August 9th. His CV at the time sounded jolly impressive and when I met the fellow on October 9th it was explained to me that he was there to give Sefton’s financial reporting function more rigour. Milne’s CV looks good but..

Once again this issue comes onto my radar screen as I ask of Sefton Resources (SER) the AIM listed company suing me for libel, how many flights for its chairman Jim Ellerton to and from his Hawaii mansion were paid for by the company? It is a simple question that Sefton declines to answer. If the answer was nil it would have said so. So I assume that it is a lot more than nil and would like to know the cost. As, I suspect, would shareholders who are down 99.5% since the IPO.
Of course the inverse correlation between shareholder return and director comfort at Sefton Resources will be my specialist subject when I eventually appear on Mastermind but this is not just a Sefton issue. Quite rightly, after two or three years of AIM delivering up fairly miserable returns for investors many directors are being asked to justify pay packages and bonuses which have seen them profit while investors who actually put up the risk capital to get these businesses started and keep them going are taking the sort of spanking that Max Mosely would enjoy! Am I allowed to say that any more under our new code of press suppression?
But what has not been nailed down has been the issue of director’s expenses.

I see that myself and Brokerman Dan have now been labelled “The gruesome twosome” by Bulletin Board Morons on Sefton Resources threads. I wonder am I really gruesome? I am certainly not a twosome.
I am not a twosome in that Sefton has launched separate libel proceedings against myself and Dan. He is my friend but he has made certain claims which he is defending and I have made others which I am defending. Lucky Sefton shareholders get to pick up the tab for two totally different cases.
Am I gruesome? Well possibly in many respects I am. The word is derived from a Middle English word meaning “to make one shudder” and is defined as “Causing horror and repugnance; frightful and shocking.”
Physically I am not everyone’s cup of tea but on balance I reckon that is a bit harsh. And so I guess this is a reference to what I am writing on this company. Is what I say shocking? To those who have stick their head in the sand for a decade losing 99.97% of their investment while management has trousered millions I suppose some of my revelations about the history of Sefton’s assets, misleading RNS statements on production, executive pay and the location of Jim Ellerton’s luxury Hawaii mansion must be shocking. It must cause horror for Sefton believers to discover the truth and for its management to be exposed. Being a Sefton shareholder must be frightful per se.
Repugnance? I think that is a tad strong. But I suppose The Sefton Board won’t be sending me any chocolate eggs this Easter so maybe they feel repugnance. But if I was a Sefton shareholder (and I am not and never have been) my repugnance would not be with a journalist who has been writing about this company for eight months exposing its skeletons but for the management that has spent ten years creating those skeletons.

Hell, I am bored and so I have created a follow up video to Sefton, The Downfall. It is Sefton, The Downfall the Sequel. I somehow doubt that there will be a need for a third video. Enjoy....

I created this video when Sefton shares were 1.3p. Today they have hit new lows of sub 0.55p. My 0.1p ( or was it 0.01p) target price might have seemed ludicrous when I first started covering this company at 2p. But now it is looking ever closer. After a little chat with my pal Dan about some very interesting RNS statements from 2005 I watched this all over again and laughed again. It seems ever more on the ball. Sefton, the downfall video:

As you are aware AIM listed joke oil company Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is suing myself and my pal Dan Levi (Brokerman Dan) for libel. We cannot wait for our days in court as this is getting more amusing by the day.
A day or so I asked Sefton the simple question – how many flights to and from Hawaii (where Jim Ellerton lives in a luxury mansion) have been paid for by Sefton? The answer could be nil and if so I would have hoped for a speedy reply. I have had no such reply. Perhaps shareholders might have more luck putting that question to the company directly- I suggest calling its PR man Alex Walters on his mobile 07771 713608 - good luck.
But I now have a few more questions and this time I move from Hawaii where Jim spends his millions to Kansas and Leavenworth County where in 2009/10 Sefton ponied up a total of $215,000 to buy some gas pipelines.

As you may remember Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is suing myself and Brokerman Daniel for libel. I have already responded to its writ and lodged my papers in the High Court last week. Dan tells me that he will be lodging within 24 hours. Both of us await this matter with mounting excitement as the more this goes on the more folks come to us with interesting snippets.
Today a former investor in Powerhouse Resources (go check it out) pointed me to Hawaii. For it appears that it is in this luxury pacific paradise that Sefton chairman Jim Ellerton and his delightful wife Carol make their home - it is not a modest pad. Public records show that it was bought for $710,000 in 2004. Why drag poor Carol into it?

As you know Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is suing me for libel. What is amazing is that as every day goes by more folks come out of the woodwork offering up information which makes my case ever more watertight. This is getting more and more enjoyable by the minute. Just to keep you all amused and to allow uber expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons to rack up more billable hours for Sefton to fund I share a couple of little gems with you. Pinsent Masons really is expensive but I do not wish to deter Sefton from pissing all its cash away as the mother of my daughter Olivia is a partner there and its Olivia’s Birthday in a few months, school fees are very expensive as are piano and hockey lessons and I am delighted that all this business is heading the way of PM. And Olivia’s mother likes expensive holidays and so if Sefton’s shareholders can pony up some more and allow her a really smashing break this summer I’d be delighted for her.

There were two reasons why I have not written a word for ages. One is Sefton and you can read about that here, the other is the death of an old friend. I refer to my laptop – the one that has gone everywhere with me for five years, lived in a rucksack as I travelled around Greece last summer and was so worn that only 10 letters were still even partially visible on my keyboard.
Yesterday evening as I finished my work with my prime lawyer, I tried to restart my old friend. It just refused. It is now an ex-Computer. And I now tap away on a new machine. It uses Windows 8 which is bloody annoying and I keep being directed to screens in which I have no interest at all. I am even being encouraged by it to read articles from the frigging Guardian.
I am sure that I will get used to it but pro tem work is painfully slow. For that reason and for the day wasted by Sefton there is no midweek Tomograph this week. Normal service will resume at the weekend.

I spent all of yesterday talking to the two lawyers who are assisting me with my defence against the spurious claims made by AIM Listed oil penny dreadful Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) that I have committed libel. Well here is another article for Sefton’s uber expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons to read for I make fresh allegations today.
I have also today lodged my intention to fight this case with the High Court. And I am keen that battle commences as soon as possible, before Sefton runs out of cash. I do not wish to be denied the chance to see inter alia Jim Ellerton, Doctor Green and the senior partner at Pinsent Masons (company secretary to Sefton) having to give evidence on oath.
In compiling my detailed response I had a great moment. My July 11th moment.

Each time the amount gets smaller and each time less is raised. Less than three months since its last fund raise AIM listed Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is passing the hat around yet again. This time it has raised £650,000 gross ( call it £620,000 net) with clients of Dowgate Stockbrokers. Lucky them. The amount raised will cover about three months cashburn. Put another way it is about 18 months total remuneration (including bonuses, pension contributions, etc) for chairman Jim Ellerton, a man who runs a company that has destroyed around 99.7% of the value of an investment made in Sefton at the time of its IPO 12 years ago.

Well it is not official. Or in fact true. But a kind Bulletin Board poster on ADVFN has just posted:
“Winnifriths done it again. He’s only gone and libelled SEFTON. The man has got balls of steel. Cant help admiring him. He must know 100% that he’s going to win otherwise he’d never have written this.“
To Mr Diddliesquat, for that is the poster, I say thank you for the compliment but I have not libelled Sefton today or at any time. Everything I have written can be stood up with facts. Sefton knows that really and is just playing for time. But thank you anyway.

This is all so bloody familiar but here we go again with another trading update from Sefton Resources (LSE:SER), the joke company that is suing me for libel. I will offer it an opportunity to broaden that case below since I have unearthed another howler of a statement this morning in which, I accuse Sefton and its plutocrat chairman Jim Ellerton once again of deliberately misleading investors. But first the trading statement.
Dr Ali says that his report on steamflooding in California is making good progress. Specifically that: “ work on the history match stage of the thermal stimulation report is now coming to an end. Dr Ali has advised that he is about to start the cyclical steam matches and various steamflood scenarios which he plans to work on simultaneously”. This would be the report that in the now infamous interims of September 2012 was promised for delivery by the year end. And that which on 6th April was promised for delivery by the end of May. That is April and May 2011.4280 days ago
Long term readers will know that my relationship with the Daily Torygraph City Diary has not always been of the friendliest variety. First there was gorgeous pouting hackette Anna White but when she left her shoes were filled by Fleet Street kitten Harriet Denys. Neither has been exactly kind to me and so when I learned that this column was to write a piece on my little spat with Sefton Resources ( the company that says its output is going up when it was in fact falling and now sues me for libel for suggest that this might be misleading) I naturally feared the worst.
Oddly Ms Denys did not actually call me for my side of the story. Last time she covered Sefton she claimed that Brokerman Dan was only being brutal because he was short of the stock, citing sources, i.e Sefton’s loathsome PR machine, for this utterly defamatory and unfounded allegation of market abuse. And so I thought I better call pouting Harriet to put my side of the story.
I pointed out that Sefton had said output was rising when it was falling as it prepared to raise money by issuing shares. I asked her if she thought this was misleading? She admitted that she did. Clearly I must call her as an expert witness in the forthcoming libel trial.
Do I expect a fair report in the paper tomorrow? Er…no. I am sure that Sefton’s PR machine is far more charming than I am. And for the Telegraph City Diary to be even balanced towards me would break the habit of a lifetime.

The other half of the Sefton 2, Brokerman Daniel, has today written to the FSA asking it to launch an official probe into whether Sefton Resources and certain individuals have committed market abuse and a breach of the FSMA 2000.
Helpfully he has published the letter on his website and you can read it here.
You will note his comments about the AIM team and Sefton and I am sure that the authorities will take this matter very seriously.

One runs a tinpot organisation and issues a press release saying that measures taken by his organisation “continue to deliver production growth” at a time when production had fallen sharply for the prior two months and one runs a tinpot organisation and says that he had not heard of allegations that his party CEO was a serial sex pest until last week. Oh dear. Breaking News: It seems that one of his own former MPs (Sandra Gidley) has now gone on the record saying she told Clegg all back in 2007.
In for a penny in for a pound. Ellerton (or rather his grateful shareholders) is suing me for libel for calling his statement about production growing (when it was in fact falling) “deliberately misleading.” I really am not quaking in my boots about defending that one and cannot wait to get JimBob to explain himself on the witness stand.
Now that I am getting the hang of being sued for libel for pointing out the bleeding obvious, here we go again: Clegg, I think your statements about your knowledge of sexpest-gate are deliberately misleading too.
What’s the difference between Jim Ellerton and Nick Clegg? Unlike Clegg, Jim Ellerton has at least some chance of being leader of the Lib Dems after the next election.

Sefton Resources is an AIM listed company which I only encountered in the summer suggesting that the shares were ludicrously overvalued at north of 2p. The shares are now south of 1p and yesterday it issued an RNS saying that it was suing me for libel and reporting me to the FSA for a breach of the FSMA of 2000. Whatever.
Its contention is that I have accused it of misleading investors and lying and it cites several articles where I have, allegedly, done this. If it could prove that this allegation is without basis that would be libel. I am not sure where the FSMA comes into it since I have no position in Sefton but I think that there is a clause in there about knowingly disseminating false information. There is just one flaw in Sefton’s reasoning…
A main bone of contention is my analysis of the interims released on September 11th 2012. And I quote from the piece that I wrote then and which I have no intention of withdrawing:

This morning AIM listed penny dreadful oil producer Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) has via its lawyer Pinsent Masons sent lawyers letters to myself and BrokerMan Daniel. Such is the competence of this company that it sent the hard copy to an address that I have not lived in for three years. Luckily it got the email address right.

It seems that the whole of Britain has the Norovirus. Well not quite everyone. I do not have it. Robert Sutherland Smith says he has it but being an old trooper he is still filing articles anyway – another one is imminent. My two senior staff at Real Man Pizza do not have it but being over 45 they are the sort of fellows who would come into work if their right leg fell off.
Thankfully none of our regular customers at Real Man Pizza in Clerkenwell have it, business is where it should be. But, bugger me the two younger members of staff are both stricken. That is the sort of thing that happens to you if you do not drink or smoke and go to the gym. You get sick. It is God’s judgement on you for being such a health bore. The net result, cometh the day, cometh the man and I have done two shifts in the kitchen today. It has not stopped me writing or chatting to folk in between creating a fettuccine ragu with an extra chilli twist or a cracking penne with a creamy mushroom and bacon sauce. There is some technical Italian term for that dish too but I am so cream crackered that I cannot remember what it is.
Anyhow, no customer complaints about my cooking and the new Curious Brew beer offering is going down a storm. Only two more articles to polish off and then a pre bedtime prayer that our younger more health conscious staff get well soon. I appreciate that the boards of Sefton Resources, Range Resources, Vialogy etc and a handful of Bulletin Board morons would love me to stick to the kitchen full time but it is not going to happen.

Some young chap from UKIP was running a “Christmas carols opening two lines for the modern world “ chat on twitter tonight. His first entry was:
“Once in royal David’s city, Stood a lowly cattle shed, But when the Palestinians Bombed it, We build 200 new settlements instead”
To which I countered:
“Arrest you merry gentlemen from the BBC
You’re all screaming perverts it is now plain to see”
Naturally this got me started. And so ( in either English or German) I offer you the Evil Empire’s Silent Night

PrintAt last the DOGGR website from the State of California has published the official October output numbers from AIM listed penny dreadful oil producer Sefton Resources (LSE:SER). And guess what? The number is lower that the company itself was saying in an RNS issued 12 days ago. Hey ho. Happy Christmas chairman Jim Bob Ellerton when are you going to issue a profits (or lack of them) warning?

Unable to get away an equity placing AIM Listed penny dreadful oil producer Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) today announced that it has started to draw down on its Darwin Death spiral (sorry Equity drawdown facility). But the amount drawn down is pitiful. Okay the lights do not go out on March first but death is merely postponed. And with the shares issued at just 1.1044p a mere £648,855 (pre costs) was raised.
First up – is this dilutive? Heck yes. That is another 59 million shares in issue. IN other words the company has just increased its shares in issue by 11.3% to raise a pitiful £648,000 (before expenses). Let’s call that £600,000. But with the shares having been listed at 95p and now trading at a share price of 1.125p investors are used to dilution.

AIM listed penny dreadful oil producer Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) has released November output numbers which it seems to think are good but as ever the reality is rather different. The bottom line is that this company should be issuing a profits (or lack of them) warning. And of course that it will be out of cash ( and with debt still to clear) by very early next year. My target price for the shares remains 0.01p – the stock closed at a share price of 1.18p today.
The company states that output (before adjustments) was 119 bopd in November. At one level I have to commend Sefton for increased disclosure. Yes I am being complimentary.

Aim listed penny dreadful oil producer Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is at it again with another RNS press release which contains a lie. This is such a blatant lie I wonder how anyone can now believe a word that chairman Jim Ellerton or his IR gopher sidekick Doctor Green now says. It is sheer comedy. Of course there is a serious issue in that Sefton desperately needs to issue equity soon. It will – as things stand – be out of cash (but not debt) within two months. Tick tock. Tick tock. Tick tock. That is why the stock remains a sell at a share price of 1.18p with a target price of 0.01p

Having called both Falklands Oil & Gas (LSE:FOGL) and Borders & Southern (LSE:BOR) pretty brilliantly as oil junior shorts my pal the bear raider Evil Knievil and I had a good chat about which of the 90 or so juniors out there are the best shorts now. The odd thing is that despite a series of disasters across the sector, private investors still seem to be in love with a raft of pretty ordinary juniors. The astute commentator Was Shakoor summed it up the other day on twitter “why is it that across a string of wells where there is said to be a 15% chance of success only 5% seem to be successful?”

Sometimes reality becomes a parody of humour. In my recent spoof downfall video of AIM listed penny dreadful oil producer Sefton Resources I ended with Chairman Jim Ellerton suggesting that he had a cunning plan: buy a worthless Kansas oilfield for peanuts, spend millions on it and claim that suddenly he had an asset of value in order to get away another fundraising. Knock me down with a feather, Sefton has today announced details of just such a plan. And its statement is, as ever, grossly misleading. This company is running out of cash fast and my target price remains 0.01p ( at best). The shares today are off again at 1.225p valuing the company at £4.87 million. Now to today’s news and why the statement is so misleading.

Some posters on Bulletin Boards are so thick they would make the contestants on I’m a celebrity seem like a bunch of Nobel Prize winning economists. A company is obviously bust yet some buffoon manages to find reasons why its shares are cheap. Conspiracy theories abound. Amid the mind numbing stupidity you find the odd gem. Trying to pick out the BB moron of the year is an almost impossible task but here is a contender.

I could not resist. I had a bit of trouble sleeping last night and the urge was just too strong. And so I have created my very own spoof Downfall Video – the Sefton Resources edition. Knowing full well that this will offend all sorts of folks, at least it has made me laugh and given me some pleasure. I hope that you enjoy it at least a bit.

I think I got the sound and the video right this time. I have been thinking in the New Year that I might start doing two short daily audio reports on a) the markets and b) life in general – the world, the evil State and the Evil Empire. I am investigating the technology. Whaddya think?

AIM listed penny share dreadful oil producer Sefton Resources has today announced its output data from its Californian oilfields for October – 115 bopd. We shall await confirmation from DOGGR ( the state monitoring board) before inking that in as in the past Sefton’s numbers have been shown to be a tad optimistic. The statement from Chairman Jim Ellerton that accompanies it is worth a booker prize. The shares,1.4p today continue to be worth less than a Booker Prize – 0.01p if you are luck. The issue remains cash. Or lack of it.

War criminal, intern exploiter and former Prime Minister Tony Blair used to take great delight in announcing the same event a number of times in order to “work the spin cycle.” AIM listed penny share dreadful oil explorer Sefton Resources (LSE: SER) is playing the same game with an RNS today designed to show momentum but which shows nothing of the sort. This stock is still virtually worthless – my target price is 0.01p – but let me explain what is going on here.

AIM Listed oil producer Sefton Resources (SER) has made two announcements today. I shall turn to its operational guff later but I start with news that (yet again) it has changed its Nomad – its adviser on AIM matters. This is critical and I have exclusive news on this – this change was not entirely voluntary. For the avoidance of doubt these shares remain more or less worthless and at 1.65p are a stonking short. Target price 0.01p. At best. Now to the Nomad.

I have addressed on numerous occasions the grotesque overvaluation of AIM listed oil producer Sefton Resources (SER) and its misleading RNS statements. I have addressed its inability to generate cash from operations. But now for the critical question: when does it run out of cash? I now seek to explain, give or take a few weeks, when that will be. This will not take long.

PrintTo give the Daily Mail credit it has now removed from its website the article suggesting that penny share dreadful oil producer and cash cow (for chairman Jim Ellerton but not for long suffering shareholders) Sefton Resources (LSE: SER) was producing 220 bopd from 20 wells on its Tapia field. We all know (and the Mail knows now as well) that the number is less than 100 bopd from a handful of wells. But the Mail has gone further.

I have been a market reporter. I know how it works. Someone you know calls you with what seems like a good story. You run it. Your team is on the box that night. You file your article. Good job. But just occasionally you are being played. The question is by whom? And unless someone points out how you have been lied to you will trust that player again. So just to help Geoff Foster, the excellent market reporter at the Daily Mail: Geoff, my son, you were kippered yesterday on AIM listed penny dreadful oil stock Sefton Resources (LSE:SER). You may wish to put in a call today to see why.

Sefton (LSE:SER) groupies are terribly excited that Mohammed El Fayed has picked up 15 million shares (just over 3%) of their company. Er up to a point. And it makes no difference. The stock is worthless. My target remains 0.1p and it is a stonking short. Here is why.

I have time and time again asked questions about the utterly misleading statements issued by AIM listed Sefton Resources (SER) about its output in California. It seems that the company just cannot help itself because we now have proof that what it said about September data was misleading. Is it time for another RNS – correction or does the Nomad to this worthless enterprise (Fox Davies) not care about the truth anymore?

Jeepers. I think I have got both the sound and light right this week. A bonus helping of chocolate pizza for me. I had to get the hang of it eventually. The nine minute video postcard is wide ranging and I only mention Sefton Resources (SER) once and even then only en passant. How is that for restraint?
4415 days ago
During the past three months I have asked a series of questions of Jim Ellerton the chairman of AIM listed penny dreadful oil producer Sefton Resources (SER). He has failed to produce a satisfactory answer to any of them. I regard the shares, at 1.25p as woefully overvalued – my target is 0.1p. Sefton’s latest tactic is to waste shareholders cash on bullying its critics.

It has been a long but enjoyable week. This week’s video looks back on some of the highlights, notably the Evil Empire winning the Nobel Peace Prize and my battle with AIM listed penny dreadful Sefton Resources (SER) on Tuesday. But I look forward too.

I am indebted to my pal Brokerman Daniel for the link to data on individual wells operated by AIM listed penny share oil producer Sefton Resources (SER) in California as it illustrates exactly why its assets are so utterly worthless. Read this data in conjunction with my most recent article and then think carefully about the issue of capex required to grow output.
And I should warn Sefton that I am not finished with it. I am now going for the kill and as such there is another article on its way later today. Pro tem the target price for the shares ( now 1.175p) is 0.1p. That target may be revised shortly but not upwards.
4424 days ago
You know my views on all three stocks. More on Range (LSE:RRL) later but it is still a sell with a 1.5p target after today’s news. Sefton (LSE SER) at 1.16p remains a sell down to 0.1p. At 13p Qihang Equipment (LSE: QIH) is also a sell with a target price of 0.1p. But I note BB comments about these penny share dreadfuls which just nag on about production levels and compare that to the market cap and insist that I have got it all wrong. Well here is why the BB morons need to rethink – and incidentally this applies to all companies.

Give him his dues, Jim Ellerton, chairman of AIM listed oil penny share dreadful Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) took his public skewering, buggering and abject humiliation with some grace. But, make no mistake, his IR Shindig at London’s Armourer’s Hall last night was utterly disastrous. He might find a few more suckers to buy his stock – some folks are so stupid that they deserve to lose money. But the admissions extracted, the accusations he could not answer and a presentation that is now, I gather on Sefton’s website, and which basically shows why this company is such a worthless POS left objective and experienced observers in no doubt as to where this is heading. Down. I summarise below the main skewerings of an event which has been captured on video which I may release in part shortly. For the avoidance of doubt my target price is 0.1p.

When did a linesman become an assistant referee? When did a salesman become a sales “consultant?” I do not know but consultant sounds sort of important. Salesman…oooh you mean a bloke who speaks estuary English and tries to flog you things you do not want? No that is a sales consultant. But he can’t be like that because he is not a salesman he is a sales consultant. And that brings me to Graham.
Stepping on the Great First Western train Graham, who says that he is the “train manager” informs us all that we must read the safety instructions (also in Braille) next to our seat. I have never read them and the bloke opposite confesses that he has not either. We both agree that we want to live life dangerously. Has anyone ever read them?

I seem to have got the sound tight and captured all my head but, this week, not the light. I shall get there. As you can hear I am feeling pretty ropey with a streaming head cold and so this is a short video as I save my strength for Downton Abbey.

IM listed oil producing penny share dreadful Sefton Resources (LSE: SER) has today issued an RNS which is (by its standards) half way to being accurate. Even so, it is pretty grim. The shares have plunged by 14.5% to a new all time low of 1.325p but I remain of the view that they are worth no more than a fraction of that. They are now 99% down from the IPO price a decade ago, during which time chairman Jim Ellerton has made millions of pounds from excessive boardroom fees. But the stock will fall again and again over the coming years as Sefton’s true predicament emerges. I shall explain below why this is a conviction sell.

The Weekly Tomograph Newsletter has just been emailed to those who are registered. It contains the usual stuff, notably the Caption contest and a link to the most popular articles on this site during the past week. It also contains an exclusive article explaining why the BBC should be more or less scrapped, what would replace it and with news that another big name paedophile scandal from 1970s Kids TV is about to emerge. You really should register to receive the Tomograph every week here.

As you may be aware I am not a great fan of AIM listed penny share dreadful oil and gas outfit Sefton Resources (LSE: SER). Its RNS statements are a disgraceful exercise in smoke and mirrors. While investors have lost 98.5% since its IPO as the shares now languish at 1.575p, Chairman Jim Ellerton has trousered millions of pounds over the years. After ten fund raisings in the past three years Sefton is still not generating cash (after bloated PLC costs). I doubt it ever will and frankly I still think the shares are still at least 80% overvalued but Jim reckons that all he needs to do is get the message across to investors. So I am here to help. There is no need for Jim to thank me I am just an all round nice guy. What are you doing on Tuesday 9th October and how would you like a half price pizza as a bonus?

Across Europe we have witnessed a week of riots. From Madrid to Athens and into France the police have battled protesters. I phoned through to the EU information office and after congratulating them on the Evil Empire’s contribution to world democracy day I asked if this wholesale civil disorder driven by youth unemployment of 60% (and rising) and general unemployment of 30% (and rising) was a legitimate protest against austerity and the abject failure of the Euro.
It seems that I could not have got it more wrong. I need to pay more attention to what Lord Mandelson says about how the Euro is on the mend and that in a decade Britain will be part of it. And as for the riots? It seems that we have all got the wrong end of the stick here. The people are protesting yes. But their demand is for more austerity and the free people of Europe also wish to vent their anger about the wicked lies told by right wing Britons and the evil British press in suggesting that the Euro is somehow a failure when it has brought peace and prosperity across the continent.
Those effigies you can see being burned are of Nigel Farage, Chris Booker and Ambrose Evans Pritchard.

Another day and another release from AIM listed oil and gas penny share dreadful Sefton Resources (SER) which is laden with optimism but tells you absolutely nothing. But it does at least appear that there is some movement on disclosure – i.e. it admits that the market was misled but it has not admitted to the big lie. The shares are up on the hype but remain a stonking short ahead of the next inevitable issue of equity to pay chairman Jim Ellerton’s monstrous fees

There is also a special money saving offer to celebrate the new extended wine list at Real Man Pizza Company where I am having lunch tomorrow with Ortac Resources. Then off to the stocks to write hard for a week.

Nope, not the result of a crazed attack by a Sefton-jihadist just that I am still getting the hang of this self-record video lark. A slight delay in transmission but we will be good to go next week for a prompt Saturday broadcast.

You will be aware of my concerns about AIM listed Sefton Resources (SER) shares in which traded at 95p in 2001 and are 1.55p today. The company has yet to comment or issue legal proceedings about my article of Friday which invited it and its chairman Jim Ellerton to explain why successive RNS statements were not lies. This is a company that has raised equity by issuing shares 10 times in the past 3 years. Where does it all go? Have a guess.

And so the Friday caption contest is back. We still have not quite got around to producing our new line of unethically produced politically incorrect T-shirts and mugs and so the prize for this week remains a “Piss off Argentina” mug which you can of course also buy here.
This week’s caption contest has no sponsor but I would be delighted if AIM listed Sefton Resources (SER) would step up to the plate. I gather that the company (which is yet to contact me about this article) is holding a presentation on 9th October at 6PM in London and I have registered to attend. You can also do so here.
If anyone wishes, I am happy to offer a half price pizza at Real Man Pizza Company at 91-95 Clerkenwell Road at 4.45 PM on the 9th and we can then all troop along together. If you care to join me for the pre-Sefton pizza drop me an e-mail.

The responsibility for this blog posting lies under contract with me and me alone and so in asking Sefton Resources PLC (SER), its chairman Jim Ellerton and its IR man Michael Green to explain why they have not told lies via RNS statement, I invite them to sue me personally if they feel I am being unfair. I shall see you in court and it will be my pleasure. Should Sefton and the two gentlemen mentioned above not take legal action investors can draw their own conclusions

Another month goes by and yet again I ask “should you believe a word that AIM listed Sefton Resources (SER) says“?” Data out tonight makes me certain that there is a major issue here and thus, unless Sefton can show that the State of California is inventing production data, I regard the shares, at 1.5p, as a slam dunk sell.
4452 days ago
I have noted before the curious way that AIM listed penny share dreadful Sefton Resources (SER) communicates with its investors. Having advised you to bail at 2p initially I reiterated my sell advice a couple of days ago with the shares at 1.58p after the company issued piss poor interims. But my confusion with the way this company keeps investors updated grows by the day.
I start with its California producing assets and with what production Sefton has historically delivered.
On 6th March 2012 Sefton announced “Currently Sefton is averaging approximately 140 bopd for the month of February (with production as high as 178 BOPD in the later part of the month).”
Well er… not exactly.

Oil producer Sefton Resources (SER) today announced its half year results which were – as is normally the case with this AIM listed penny share dreadful, pretty piss poor. A marginal increase in production and in the oil price meant that revenues for the six months to June 30th increased from $2.028 million to $2.283 million but since the cost of sales increased by more, the gross profit actually fell from $1.421 million to $1.338 million. What is the heck of pumping more oil if it cuts your profits?
After the predictably high central costs

I took a fair old beating on the Bulletin Boards after advising you that AIM listed penny share oil explorer Range Resources (RRL) was hugely overvalued at 4.86p following the abject failure of its drilling campaign in the Islamofascist hell hole that is Puntland. Report him to the regulators screamed the muppets. He must be helping Evil who is short (he was not) said others. I was not. But the shares initially traded up to 5.6p which delighted both my critics who argued that I could not tip a waiter but also those who were so in love with the stock that they decided to buy more shares.
One helpful fellow commentated on this blog that I should bury my head in the sand. At least if that was Puntland sand I would not get any oil in my hair but I am afraid that is not my style and so with the shares now back at 4.76p I make a couple of observations.

I have never tipped – or that I can remember – written about AIM listed oil and gas company Sefton Resources (SER) and nor have I bought any stock in this penny share hopeful. The history of companies seeking to explore or produce hydrocarbons in the US but listing on Aim is so dire that I simply have not felt the need to seek an association. I cannot say that I know enough to rate the shares – at c2p – a buy or a sell. But an announcement today invites comment. Amid a stack of guff about appointing a new non exec and an operations director we are told:
Fox-Davies’ Site Visit
Recently Sefton’s lead broker Fox-Davies Capital completed a site visit to the Company’s operations in California and Kansas. Fox-Davies intends to initiate research coverage on Sefton in September once the interim results have been announced.
Award of Options
On finalising the £15 million EFF with Darwin Strategic Limited, Sefton agreed to grant Darwin 3.5 million share options which are exercisable at 3.25p over 3 years which has already been announced. Sefton has also agreed to grant Fox-Davies Capital1.5 million share options with the same terms and conditions.
Hmmmm.
