A fool and his money are easily parted: Prince William and the global warming coral reef grifters

If you believe in the bogus religion of global warming there are a few chants you must break into if you meet someone like me, a sceptic or, put another way, someone who looks at actual data. You must chant that “the Maldives is drowning” (of course they are is not), that water shortages in South Africa are caused by global warming (they aren’t), that Pakistan is seeing more flooding ( it is not) and, say it loudly, that the Great Barrier Reef and other corals are being destroyed by warmer seas caused by man made global warming. Among those shouting about corals the loudest is Prince William.

If you are going to slate anyone for Covid misinformation how about SAGE for its forecasts, the worst in history

Earlier today I reported how LinkedIn was censoring me for reporting facts because those facts challenged the set narrative on mask wearing. Reporting hard facts, data which is verifiably true, is now “misinformation” which in the UK will soon become a crime. If we do go down that line how about we start with SAGE and its forecasts which were obviously so completely bonkers yet have influenced Government policy. Was not SAGE supplying misinformation as youcan see in the chart below?

So Omicron deaths are booming in South Africa, right? Er...

The South Africans tell us, as do US and EU authorities that the Omicron variant of covid is really not very harmful at all. And what is more they have data which supports this as you can see below. As Omicron started there the South Africans have real data. This was dismissed today by one of the doom-mongers advising our wretched Government as merely “anecdotal.” But it is not, what you see below is hard facts.  What can be dismissed are claims by the experts who always get it wrong, such as Professor Pantsdown Ferguson, that 75,000 of us will die from this variant by the spring.  Ferguson has a track record of forecasting which, over many, years is unbelievably consitent. He is always wrong.  Yet Boris Johnson et al do not look at facts on the ground, hard data, they believe the“experts” who ignore this hard data and their ludicrous predictions.

A mask fanatic friend writes to me … seriously you could not make this shite up

I have an old friend B who is a good man and not dumb at all but he is a complete mask fanatic and he could not wait this morning to send me a link to a news article about how, as of Tuesday, folks in England will get fined £200 for not wearing a face nappy in Asda. No face nappies are needed in JD Wetherspoon but Botswana covid does not drink so that is all right. Follow the science comrades. It gave my old friend B such pleasure to spread the news of more draconian laws, I was almost happy for him. But…

The doctor at the centre of the Omicron "epidemic" says on the basis of hard data Boris Johnson and the UK are panicking

I noted on Friday that in South Africa, where the new strain of Covid has emerged, the number of fatalities and indeed the number of hospitalisations is the same as the number of times I have shagged Cheryl Cole this week. That is to say, zero.  All viruses mutate in a Darwinian way. To ensure species survival those that are more transmissable tend to be weaker, killing the host makes no sense. But, of course, mask jihadists – which includes almost everyone at the BBC -  as well as most of the villagers where I live here in lockdown Wales, say that one must “liste to the science”. I offer hard data they offer doom and say that only scientists – as opposed to those who earn a living analysing data – are allowed a view. The fanatics want the State to strangle our liberties and the economy again. So here is a doctor fighting this strain at the centre of the epidemic appearing, amazingly, on the BBC today. Watch what she has to say on the basis of hard data and take that as your cue to resist Sajid, Boris and the rest of the deranged control fascists now running Airstrip One. Watch the video quickly before Youtube removes it for being what Prince Harry would term fake news.

Dead heroine and villain Winnie Mandela - The Guardian injects its usual poison into the debate

There is no doubt in my mind that the appalling way that the evil apartheid regime treated the late Winnie Mandela and her children is a very legitimate mitigating factor for Winnie as she trudges her way on the long march towards a meeting with St Peter. Indeed the evil of apartheid and the way it treated all dissenters and all black Africans is another factor St Pete will take into account. But I very much doubt that he will be utterly forgiving and, I am sure, that Mrs Mandela will show no sense of repentance. Natch the Guardian, the newspaper of the liberal elite, thinks she did nothing wrong and it goes further, in its usual poisonous way, as it tries to silence debate on this matter. .

The Death of Nelson Mandela, BBC Over-reaction and the Thatcher canard

I regard the late Nelson Mandela as a hero but the media coverage of his sad demise is somewhere between OTT and nauseating.

Why is he a hero? Apartheid was an evil regime and he played his part in its overthrow. He wasted the best part of his life in prison for the cause but the same could be said for many who stand up to evil. For me his heroism was in his actions post-Apartheid.

I could understand had he been bitter but if he was he hid it well. The way he showed forgiveness, compassion and was reconciliation embodied, was truly heroic. Moreover – in stark contrast to those now running the ANC – when gaining power he did not plunder the State’s coffers for personal gain as he could have done.

For anyone of my age Mandela truly was a hero of our era.

However, as the UK suffers the worst storms in living memory and one or two other things happen which might not please the BBC (the most upbeat Autumn statement in years), the wall to wall coverage on Mandela’s demise at the expense of all other news is OTT. Having listened to the same soundbites about ten times today I gave up on the news and will only start watching it again in a few days when the Mandela-fest has eased.

But the worst part of it is the excuse it has given the BBC and other twisted and deluded lefties to rewrite history and bash the Tories, notably Margaret Thatcher.

Guest Post Sam Bottell: Sell Petra Diamonds

I spent two years working along Sam Bottell as he worked with minesite.com and oilbarrel.com and he is a good, honest and clever chap. Now that he is starting his career freelance writing as well as an organiser of the UKInvestor Show I have no hesitation in helping him along via this blog as a guest contributor. As such I bring to your attention a share tip from TradingResearch Point on Petra Diamonds. I happen to agree with his conclusion. In fact I’d be more damning.

Mining in South Africa is clearly not easy – something a trading statement from LSE listed Petra Diamonds (PDL) makes explicitly clear. The numbers for the six months to December 31st will be a bit disappointing but, worse, Petra guided investors to reduce their expectations for the year to June 30th. The shares now trade about 10% ahead of 12 month lows at 110p valuing Petra at £562 million but it appears hard to judge this company as the investor’s best friend at this level.

Aquarius Platinum Quarterlies: Reiterate Buy at 62.5p target price 80p

On Christmas Eve I noted that there looked to be value in shares in main market listed Aquarius Platinum (AQP) at 55p. Earlier this month the shares hit more than 75p but currently trade at 62.25p, capitalising the company at £296 million, following the announcement today of production results for the quarter ended 31st December 2012. So is it time to bank gains and sell?

Pan African: Rights Issue News - can we build on a 644% gain?

AIM-listed, South Africa-focussed gold miner Pan African Resources (PAF) is a big winner from my days at t1ps.com – the website I departed in September after twelve years. Firestone Diamonds - sell

This has been a shockingly bad tip from me from my 12 years running t1ps.com. The shares have popped up today. And so is this still a red hot penny share?

AIM-listed diamond miner, Firestone Diamonds (FDI), has today announced that a definitive feasibility study on its 75% owned Liqhobong diamond project in Lesotho has determined a post-tax Net Present Value at an 8% discount rate of $335 million (£208 million). This is for a 1.2 million carat per annum open pit operation over a 15 year life of mine. Given, at a current 6.125p share price, Firestone is presently capitalised at just £33.5 million ( and has c£4million of debt as well), the shares ostensibly appear to offer strong value – but is this actually the case? In the following I explain why perhaps not.

South Africa: Only a matter of time before the bomb explodes – says Mbeki’s brother!

I know that like many folks I have always worried that South Africa was on its way to becoming Zim South. But articulating such a view always generates standard replies. “You do not live there and really understand what is happening” is the mild retort. The harsher response is that you are a white, English, racist/Imperialist. So generally it is an area that you leave alone. And thus I am indebted to The Goddess for sending me over a piece by Moeletsi Mbeki: Author, political commentator and entrepreneur.

MM is also the younger brother of former President Mbeki. I guess MM is on the ground and is fully qualified to say what he thinks without being accused of any “isms.” And this article makes for shocking reading. Not only does he say that Maggie got SA right (I guess the Guardian will not be running this as an op. ed. And the BBC will not cover it) but its conclusions are explicit, clear and unambiguous. It reads

South Africa: Only a matter of time before the bomb explodes!

I can predict when SA’s “ Tunisia Day” will arrive. Tunisia Day is when the masses rise against the powers that be, as happened recently in Tunisia. The year will be 2020, give or take a couple of years.
