Versarien junks some junk but do not get that excited

Natch the morons have got terribly excited and shares in Versarien (VRS) are up by 14% on news that it has sold the non core plastics business AAC Cyroma for £550,000 subject to any completion adjustments. Well, that is the headline number.

The Versarien scumbag Neill Ricketts will regret his greed as ex staff line up to blow the whistle

As I mentioned in yesterday’s bearcast I am not so sure I feel that much warmth for those ex Versarien (VRS) staffers now lining up to expose various untruths and worse from the time when Neill Ricketts was in charge. When Ricketts was egging on demented shareholders to pile on against me or, worse, my wife these folks were happy to do nothing and bank their pay cheques. But better late than never and we do now have a common objective.

BREAKING: Versarien: After 11 months doing nothing for £21,000 a month, disgraced, greedy fat bastard Neill Ricketts demands even more money

The breaking news today is that Neill Ricketts, the man who must take the credit for Versarien (VRS) shares plunging from 200p at peak ramp to just 0.15p today has filed a series of legal claims against the company demanding even more money. Words almost fail me.

Versarien shares now 99.95% down from September 2018 peak – a cartoon from the heyday

Just over five years ago the shares were 182.5p. Today they are struggling to hold 0.09p. You must forgive my schadenfreude as this company’s biggest critic but its shareholders, egged on by repellent founder Neill Ricketts, trolled me – as did Neil himself – on twitter, discussed having me killed in chatrooms and also plotted to get my wife sacked by her University. So I delight in how such folks have lost a fortune. You may remember how one such poltroon produced cartoons mocking and lambasting myself and also Lucian Miers. As a reminder, here is one gem. It has not aged well.

GOTCHA: Versarien: How is that turnaround plan going? Bailout placing at just 0.08p! Hope the morons lubed up!

Versarien (VRS) should be demanding a refund from the expensive turnaround specialists” brought in last March: since then the shares have collapsed from 2.5p to just 0.09p as today, as almost exactly predicted in bearcast yesterday, call me mystic fecking Meg, a placing has been announced at just 0.08p. and if you think this is bad, wait for the next placing which will not be long.

VINDICATED YET AGAIN! Versarien – dire trading update, share consolidation needed ahead of yet another bailout placing required to stave off insolvency

Today’s dire trading update from Versarien (VRS) has managed to hammer the share price down a further 50%. The shares are now. At 0.15p, down by more than 99.9% in just five years. More ouzo for the Sheriff of AIM for hundreds of exposes penned in the face of death threats, harassment of my wife and industrial trolling and who has called this superbly. Versarien – bailout placing at just 0.275p – remember when the shares were 200p?

To that poltroon who said that I called Versarien (VRS) brilliantly in the era of disgraced Neill Ricketts but had not appreciated the ”turnaround strategy” I say “feck you, yet again it is ouzo on cornflakes time at Sheriff Towers”. Today, as predicted, comes the latest bailout placing raising a paltry £454,822, before expenses at a price of 0.275 pence per share. The net proceeds will be, I predict, little over £400,000 and will all be gone by St Valentine’s Day.

Versarien: why shareholders should expect very modest proceeds from disposals & what that means

In today’s general meeting statement from Versarien (VRS) the clear implication is that a bailout and hugely discounted placing is imminent. This will destroy the share price as I explained HERE. Versarien now just 0.5p to sell – what price the bailout placing in just over two weeks now?

Some chump who is a long term bull of Versarien (VRS) recently wrote that while I might just have called this stock right in the era of Neill Ricketts the jury was out as to whether I was right being bearish about the new regime. Since then, in just a couple of weeks, the shares have halved to just 0.5p to sell. And it has to get worse for on October 30th a GM will approve a capital reorganisation reducing par from 1p to 0.1p and, as the company is running on vapours, this will prompt yet another bailout placing PDQ.

Versarien GM called – the race to zero accelerates with another lie

As I predicted it would, Versarien (VRS) has today called a GM to approve a capital re-organization which will see the par value of its shares slashed from1p to 0.1p. This is a precursor to yet another bailout placing at far closer to 0p than to 1p.

The Next Versarien Bailout Placing prize sweepstake

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: another disaster from the Oxford man who thinks 107 years of history will not be repeated

Then I look at the tossers at Reabold Resources (RBD), Supply@ME Capital (FRAUD), Cineworld (CINE), Versarien (VRS), VSA Capital (VSA) – where is the frigging lack of profits warning? And then one of the many disasters spawned by Andrew Monk’s VSA, that is to say Tungsten West (TUN).

Total Market Solutions - gosh this is low grade ramping, yes its Versarien again

The tweet below is the latest pathetic attempt to ramp shares in Versarien (VRS) so that it can get away one last placing before June and avoid insolvency. In pushing the fantasy that the company will soon be awash with grant money David Burton of Total Market Solutions fails to mention a number of critical points.

Versarien AGM statement – car crash, 0p target now in sight

Oh dear, oh dear, as the disgraced share tipster “old mother” Mike Walters used to say when one of his many disastrous share tips collapsed. Versarien (VRS) is just the sort of blue sky company churning out lies and issuing new shares whenever it could that would have attracted Walters, like shit attracts flies. That even Walters did not tip Versarien tells you something. Today we have an AGM in Cheltenham and the statement from chair Diane Savory has just been released. It is dire. Everything is for sale, it is cash crisis ahoy!

Versarien: sorry to be a pedant but it is breaking AIM Rules again

I guess with a looming cash crisis and possible insolvency as soon as June, the clowns running Versarien (VRS) in the post Neill Ricketts era probably have more to worry about than breaking AIM Rules. They may, like Ricketts himself, regard rules as for little people and as such view what follows as pedantry.

The Versarien placing at 3p – another black hole needing plugging? The Brian Berney law suit?

Why do such a fund raise now folks ask? Because it can is the reason, thanks to thuggish share plugging involving bent journalism and forward selling, Versarien (VRS) has an extra £275,000 net cash. Versarien says it is going to be spent on growth opportunities and working capital but that is obviously a lie. Some may go on funding ongoing losses. It could go on giving Neill Ricketts a £197,000 payoff. Or….

Versarien raises a paltry £318,000 at 3p – why the rush?

You want to know why Berenberg quit as joint broker yesterday as Versarien (VRS) also fessed up that Neill Ricketts was still a director earning £16,500 a month despite “resigning as CEO” a week ago? It will be when it discovered that, enabled by the bent journalism of Ian Cowie at the Sunday Times pumping the shares, SP Angel was doing a smash and grab deeply discounted placing to raise a paltry £318,000.

Dishonest journalism or bad journalism or both: Ian Cowie of the Sunday Times on Versarien

Versarien may have sacked loathsome shyster Neill Ricketts but he is still lying!

For only when investors are told the ghastly truth can disgraced Nomad SP Angel consider allowing a bailout fund raise. Versarien and its 130 claimed patents and trademarks part 2

Conflating the number of patents and trademarks is a bit like myself conflating the number of times I have drunk ouzo and the number of times Cheryl Cole has seduced me. Versarien – where is the statement? Doesn't AIM Rule 11 apply to Neill Ricketts?

In the days before Christmas Versarien (VRS) sacked a large number of employees as I revealed here. Versarien pre bailout placing ramp part 1 – loveable scouse oaf Craig Phillips from BB 2001 and the video

There has been a concerted attempt by Versarien (VRS) to ramp its shares in recent weeks. The reason, though it has yet to ‘fess to it is that it will be out of cash, burning cash and having stiff debts to support by Christmas. It clearly needs to do an emergency placing fast, hence the ramping.  Let’s start with the just released video below starring lovable scouse oaf Craig Phillips, the winner of Big Brother 2001.

Ouzo Man adds to his Versarien short – is he smart to do so?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - white collar crime DOES pay and Malcolm Breaks the habit of a lifetime

You find me making sweet chilli jam as Christmas is near. Photos later. For some companies such as nanosynth (NNN) and Versarien (VRS) time is thus running out. I look at that but start with Malcolm and his deviation from every year I have known him. Then I look at how crime does pay – Elizabeth Holmes and Theranos and, I fear,  FTX.  Then a few words on the budget, a statement of “managed decline.”

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Singing to you all in Welsh

There is a film in which my Great Aunt starred where there is singing in Welsh. She is the lady on the right in the first scene below. Anyhow I start today’s podcast singing to you in Welsh for reasons I explain. Then it is onto Carson Block and Pantheon Resources (PANR), Carnival (CCL), BSF Enterprise (BSFA), Tern (TERN), nanosynth (NNN), Versarien (VRS) and the comedy at Deliveroo (ROO) which still has to be a short does it not?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Eccellenze, near the Nottingham Forest Wine Bar in Milan, I think your numbers are made up

Today is Canadian Thanksgiving so if this podcast is late it is because Darren and other folks in the socialist hell hole are giving thanks to a God they do not believe in for not being American. Normally they all celebrate with roasted turkey but after a few years of President Castro-Trudeau many of them have been forced to become vegans under the latest Hate Crime laws or will be chasing their cats as Felix will be the main course on the only special feast which is now affordable. The screenshot below relates to Zamaz (ZAMZ) as I discuss its latest acquistion where the numbers just do not add up. I also look at Versarien (VRS), Chesterfield Resources (CHF), Argo Blockchain (ARB), asking if the ptoposed funding is for real, and I discuss a weekend chat with ‘arry Adams of Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI).

Slashing (already dire) Versarien forecasts ahead of Q4 share price meltdown

You can sometimes get some borrow in Versarien (VRS) and if you can you should even with the shares, which were once almost 200p, having slumped to below 15p. The next collapse will happen and happen fairly soon. It is a when not an if.

Normally I am envious of Robert, today I am not. On that note and now with the blessing of Aunt L, I tear, once again, into Colin Bird and Tiger Resources (TIR) after interims from Bezant Resources (BZT), then onto a shocker from Chill Brands (CHLL) and finally a laugh at former Neil Woodford dog Xeros (XSG) which is still spunking half a Bernie a month seeking to revolutionise the world of washing machines. Letter to AIM Regulation – You acted on Versarien will you act on nanosynth for the same crime

nanosynth (NNN) has today issued a grotesquely misleading press release which tells investors that it has secured access to almost £3 million in death spiral funding. It has not. It has deceived mugs. Two years ago Versarien (VRS) issued an RNS about a deal with the same death spiral provider which I pushed the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation on, and which they forced loathsome Neill Ricketts and hois motley crew to correct. I have now written to the Oxymorons again…

nanosynth Lanstead death spiral deal – this is Versarien deception all over again

On 23 March 2020 Versarien (VRS) announced a £6 million subscription by death spiral provider Lanstead. Of course, it was nothing of the sort. The proceeds have been a fraction of that and, following pressure from this site, AIM regulation forced Versarien to issue an RNS on April 6 admitting as much. Wind forward to today ands Lanstead and nanosynth (NNN) have engaged in an almost identical deception. Does nobody learn anything?

Versarien: shares slumping, is it the bailout placing or a grim year end trading statement? Or Both!

You will remember that when the old auditor to Versarien (VRS), run by loathsome charlatan Neill Ricketts, walked, the new bean counter said that it would not have sufficient time to sign off on results to March 31 so Ricketts extended the year end to September 30. Two questions for loathsome Neill Ricketts of Versarien, as his product loses certification

Versarien (VRS) shares have surged of late: last week, they lounged at 15p; yesterday, they reached 24p. This surge is all the more remarkable given the company’s May 12 warningwithin a year, it could run out of money. My guess? The spike is driven by chatroom speculation and is, in effect, a concerted pre-placing ramp. In that vein, I have two questions for loathsome CEO, Neill Ricketts:

Versarien – declining balance sheet quality, the roadmap to the endgame

Changing auditors for a listed public company a month before the Group’s year end isn’t a planned event as planned rotations are indicated upfront in the audit report and accounts and the notice to the Annual General Meeting.  As I pointed out in my note yesterday, such a late change is indicative of a tension between the company and its auditor’s even if that does not rise to the level of the auditors saying that there are no circumstances that the auditors wish to bring to the attention of creditors.

The good news is, and I thank so many generous Shareprophets readers, that Ian Westbrook has – as you can see here – raised £20,000 and so, in January, the loathsome pig Neill Ricketts will get to sweat in Court. I shall be preparing my deposition for Ian’s barrister next week. Natch the Bulletin Board cultists were driven to a frenzy of rage by this.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Now just £800 needed!

Ian Westbrook is now just £800 from making loathsome Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) sweat in Court in January like the pig he is. Please keep those tenners, twenties and fifties coming in HERE. I look at today’s bombshell on the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and explain why that makes it a slam dunk zero. Then it is Central Copper resources where I am sending out numerous emails to get its AIM Sewer IPO strangled at birth.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Pello suspended by FCA, the past present & future (an explosive dossier on Saturday)

I look at the shock suspension of trading by the FCA of City broker Pello. I look at Braveheart Investment Management and how Trevor Brown has made £7.5 million from pump and dump while mug punters have lost up to 85% on one pump and 60% on another. Finally, tomorrow will see an explosive dossier on the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME). It is a zero.  Meanwhile, Ian Westbrook has now raised £19,105 on the make loathsome Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) sweat like a pig appeal. We need just £895 to hit target so keep those £10 and £20 donations coming HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Two Beauties and three wretches

I start with a discussion on the forest fires in this region of Greece then move onto the impending total humiliation of Julie “Lingerie on Expenses” Meyer after today’s shocker HERE. Then I look at Supply@ME Capital (SYME) asking if its boss owns any shares at all. He certainly does not own 26% as claimed. Then I look at the Optibiotix (OPTI) trading statement  discussing it and Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX). Finally back to a wretch: Versarien (VRS) and its shite results which show why we must get Ian Westbrook over the line – he is now, with a slightly extended deadline – just £1775 shy of making the loathsome Neill Ricketts sweat in court. Please keep giving those tenners and twenties HERE

Versarien Results are truly diabolical

It is hard to know where to begin with the results from Versarien (VRS) for the year to March 31 2021. They are, at every level, just utterly diabolical. However much the morally bankrupt PR spinners at Yellow Jersey – who else would act for such scoundrels – try to polish the turd, it is still a turd.

Ian Westbrook crowdfund update – after a late large donation, appeal extended as just £1890 more needed to see Ricketts sweat

There was a large donation late yesterday and that means that brave Bulletin Board commentator Ian Westbrook, aka Club Sandwich, has now raised £18,110 of the £20,000 needed to see loathsome pig Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) sweat like the AIM CEO he is with a January Court appearance. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - hosting 2 refugees at the Greek Hovel

I start with the refugees which leads nicely into the vicious and Orwellian attack by Channel 4 News on Steve Brown of Orcadian Energy (ORCA) where I am a loyal shareholder. What has happened here is a direct attack on free speech, an attack by the media itself. It is horrific. Then it is onto Versarien (VRS). Ian Westbrook may well be within £1950 of being able to make the loathsome pig Neill Ricketts sweat like an AIM CEO so with 22 hours to go, please keep donating HERE. Meanwhile, Neill is up to his old tricks of disseminating over-egged “news” via non RNS means as I expose HERE. Surely the Oxymorons must act?

BREAKING: Versarien's Nomad should be quitting over this

Shares in Versarien (VRS) are being pumped by Bulletin Board speculation that the company has won a “major role” in HS2. If that is the case Versarien should announce the deal with hard numbers via an RNS.  But it has not, it has leaked the story to “Punchline” the No 1 source of Business News in Gloucester. And then cult followers have spread the link all over the internet.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - so what is wrong with being a proven liar and a director of an AIM Company?

First up thanks for all the tenners for Ian Westbrook. We still have two days to hit the £20,000 make loathsome Neill Ricketts sweat target and are now on £14,694. We are still talking to two potentially generous donors so please do keep the tenners flowing HERE to stop the Versarien (VRS) penny share huckster winning by default. Then onto lying on AIM and also covering up bad news with late releases. I look at Supply@ME Capital (SYME), Verditek (VDTK), Powerhouse Energy (PHE), Cellular Goods (CBX), Escape Hunt (ESC) and, of course, the fraud Zoetic (ZOE). The stench of chumocracy corruption is tife in the City as liars go unpunished. It is most depressing.

Versarien – another source of cash flow strains exposed

The Bulletin Board cult followers of the dog Versarien (VRS) never look under the bonnet at hidden horrors. That is why critics such as Ian Westbrook are so useful. Ian has now raised more than 70% of the cash needed ro make loathsome stock hustler Neill Ricketts sweat with a court hearing. He has six days to raise the rest. Please donate, even if it is just a tenner, HERE. If the full £20,000 is not raised you get your cash back. Please give now. So what is this little horror i have stumbled across?

Is loathsome Neill Ricketts scoring the biggest own goal in business history?

At time of writing, the Versarien (VRS) share price is 29.55p, below the crucial 30p support/resistance. If it hits the low 20s or high teens in the next month or two I don’t think anybody except the die-hard bulls on ADVFN would be surprised. And the company is due to release some numbers soon, expected to continue the pattern of declining revenues and to show profitability as far away as ever. With the number of covid cases declining sharply (and very welcome it is too), the bounce in revenues from selling graphene-enhanced face nappies will prove to be very temporary indeed, I suspect.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Been there, done it, bought the T-shirt

I end with another appeal for brave Ian Westbrook. We are now just over £7,000 from making Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) sweat like the loathsome pig he is. Please do donate HERE. I start with a comment on Kefi (KEFI) from the horse’s mouth, and a look at the fraud Zoetic (ZOE), Deepverge (DVRG), Moonpig (MOON), Uru Metals (URU) and the Zak Mir top of the market call.

Forgive the crude title or love it if you are Matthew and his dog. I could not resist. Then I look at Kefi (KEFI), Zoetic (ZOE), Kanobo (KNB), Supply@ME Capital (SYME), Block Energy (BLOE) and the bitcoin pump by America’s Neil Woodford and others. Ian Westbrook is now at just under £12,000 and has ten days to reach £20,000 to see the loathsome Neill Ricketts at the next stage. To call the bluff of the Versarien (VRS) bully, please donate HERE. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - so I am going to buy some more shares

I shall explain why and what tomorrow. But I eat my own pudding in that I believe the recent sell off in small caps offers opportunity. But for some companies, notably those with funding issues it could be very bad news. I discuss Supply@ME Capital (SYME), its director Mr Bull and its mother of all death spirals, Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) where the cash, its only asset of value,  is disappearing fast and Versarien (VRSwhere I urge you to back Ian Westbrook TODAY as its 2 death spirals really start to bite. I also comment on Predator Oil & Gas (PRD) which looks to be a can of worms and Loop Up (LOOP) where maybe I am just a bit dim but isn’t it pointless?

NOW It really is the time to back Ian Westbrook against the Versarien bullies

The Morons who believe in the cult of Neill Ricketts and the cash guzzling POS that is Versarien (VRS) think that Ian Westbrook (Club Sandwich), the Bulletin Board poster Ricketts wishes to destroy will fail to raise the £20,000 needed to keep his defence going. They are wrong. Here is one cultist posting on ADVFN today. Hap tip JD:

Graham Wood – vile enforcer of the cult of Versarien

We have seen previously, through his emails, group chat posts and postings to ADVFN bulletin boards, how Graham Wood had many deeply “interesting” interactions with Versarien management, including CEO Neill Ricketts. It seems that as far back as May 2017 Wood ‘popped’ into the Versarien offices apparently at will whenever he was in Cheltenham (only 27 or so miles from where he lives), where he was exposed – deliberately or accidentally – to highly price-sensitive information which he then relayed to other investors in a series of thinly-disguised nudges and winks. He also openly admitted to meeting Versarien company officers for friendly little chats, relaying what they said in bulletin board posts the next day. None of this is in question, it is all backed up by his own words in verifiable emails and bulletin board posts.

Will you help crowdfund Ian Westbrook to see bully boy AIM CEO Neill Ricketts of Versarien faced down in Court?

Loathsome Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) seems intent on destroying his Bulletin Board critic Ian Westbrook in order to preserve his good name. Really I meant that – seriously, stop sniggering at the back! But Mr Westbrook is not backing down and has hired the legal team which has helped me see off so many bullies who are working at a very reasonable rate to defend the brave Westbrook. But costs will mount up so Ian, Club Sandwich on the boards, has launched a crowdfunding operation to raise an initial £20,000. I ask of you two things:

Versarien – Time for some more honest disclosures about the Graphene business performance

Shoddy AIM promote Versarien (VRS) presents and markets itself as graphene led business.  Its annual reports contain huge narrative detail on its graphene business but the plastics and hardware business barely get a mention (limited to a paragraph or two for each).  Furthermore, its recent acquisitions being Hanwha Aerospace for £4.34 million and Gnanomat for £3.0 million were both in the graphene space and the graphene business now represent the majority of the goodwill on the balance sheet.  It had a recent strategic investment by a South Korean firm called Graphene Lab.  Its retail investor base is clearly focused on the potential for hockey stick growth in revenue and profits from graphene products as relentlessly promoted by loathsome CEO Neill Ricketts.

I start with a reflection on two smears from Bulletin Board Morons and about how media platforms from BBs to twitter need to respond to deal with such malice. Then a few thoughts on why the Tories are pissing off Tory voters in Chesham and elsewhere. Then I look at Versarien (VRS), Westminster Group (WSG) and at Bidstack (BIDS), breaking AIM Rules as it teeters on the edge. Oh, is that a Fat Lady I see gargling over there?

BREAKING: AIM promoter Neill Ricketts presses the button and has lodged court proceedings against BB critic Ian Westbrook

The loathsome boss of Versarien (VRS) Neill Ricketts has made what, the king of the fraudsters, my pal Sam Antar would call out as a cardinal error for a stock promoter. He has not only threatened Bulletin board critic Ian Westbrook (Club Sandwich) with a libel case, he has now lodged formal proceedings. So why is Claim Number QB-2021-002159 such a blundering mistake by the AIM boss?

Is seven Nomads in less than eight years a record breaker? Why does Versarien have so many bust ups?

Most AIM sewer companies have, perhaps, 2 Nomads every five years. Sometimes your company grows so you upgrade to a bigger firm. Or the reverse can happen. Or maybe a Nomad goes bust. Or perhaps you just have a personality clash. But to have multiple Nomads suggests something worse is afoot, that the Nomads might actually be baulking at what is going on. In that vein, consider the record of Versarien (VRS).

Is Neill Ricketts causing cancer with Versarien’s face masks? Read a scientific paper suggesting the answer may be YES

Shares in Versarien (VRS) have been ramped, in as much as you can ramp a cash guzzling POS, on the back of its graphene enhanced face masks. But as I pointed out yesterday there is, despite Ricketts’ misleading RNS claims – no scientific study on humans to show that they either stop one human transmitting covid to another but, worse still, there is no proof they do not harm wearers. It gets worse: there is evidence from a scientific study that they may well harm wearers which is why Spain, Ireland and Canada have already moved to ban and recall such products.

Versarien – are graphene-enhanced face masks bad for your health? A problem in Canada for loathsome Neill Ricketts

If so, I’d like to apologise, for Canada is a progressive paradise run by a visionary statesman, Mr Justin Trudeau, who wears his Eid socks to the Pride parade, or vice versa (I forgot); a chap who is eerily reminiscent of FDR or Churchill. Versarien – there will not be a year-end trading statement but what would it say?

Let’s be clear. Although it might be deemed best practice for a company the size of Versarien (VRS) to issue a year-end trading update, there is no legal obligation for it to do so. And the only best practice Versarien adheres to is in industrial-scale share issuance and deceptive share ramping activities. Had it won any material business at all, new contracts for graphene which actually generated real sales – as opposed to taxpayer handouts from his Tory chums – you can bet the ranch that loathsome Neill Ricketts would have been itching to shout about them via an RNS. Versarien – another climbdown with a bogus excuse: another Victory for the Sheriff of AIM

On 21 January, joke graphene company Versarien (VRS) published interim results which misled investors as to its net debt position by classifying a £1.96 million (illegal) Government loan as a trade payable not as a loan. Having deceived folks with this presentation, loathsome boss Neill Ricketts was again selling shares, this time 1.65 million of them.  Now, after I complained to the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation and hapless Nomad SP Angel of fraud MySquar infamy, Versarien has ‘fessed. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Is Symphony Environmental a stonking short?

I start with the news that we are backing Harcus Parker to get cash back for victims of Neil Woodford. Then I look at Versarien (VRS) and its new improved face nappy, at Iconic (ICON) and the madness at NightCap (NGHT) – since when is one rented London bar (currently shut) worth £4 million? Then San Leon Energy (SLE), en passant, there is a detailed look at Symphony Environmental (SYM).

I start with today’s news from Wishbone Gold (WSBN). Despite the appointment of THIS MAN, I remain a loyal shareholder but the appointment is wrong. I can’t show a double standard here. I then look at market madness with reference to Iconic (ICON), Zoetic (ZOE), Versarien (VRS) & Eden Research (EDEN) while also discussing bottom fishing in retail after the bid interest at French Connection (FCCN).

BREAKING: Versarien – so is the AECOM deal going down the pan? Daniel Smith quits

AECOM was the arch collaboration that was going to be a company maker for sleazy Neill Ricketts and Versarien (VRS). Just look at the Bulletin Boards back in July 2019. How the morons salivated. And then last spring things were ramped up again. On February 25 2020 we were told:

BREAKING EXPOSE: Sleazy Neill Ricketts of Versarien joins 1MillionTradeMarch, another new Reddit group trying to create a UK GameStop

Earlier I broke the story of how desperate Supply@ME Capital (SYME) owning morons were gathering on Redditt to try to replicate the GameStop effect in the UK and to “FuckTheLondonStockExchange”, manipulating shares in the, currently suspended, con from a £122 million value to £12 billion! I will have some bad news for them from the FCA later. But there is another group on Redditt now trying to organise a GameStop on a range of stocks and guess which sleazy, share dumping, lying CEO of a cash guzzling AIM listed POS has signed up, as I demonstrate below.

I have sympathy for Neill Ricketts as he dumps Versarien shares & commend an unusual piece of honesty..but

To misquote Mark Antony: “I come not to bury Caesar, but to praise him”. Yesterday morning it was announced that the odious boss of Versarien (VRS), Neill Ricketts, had sold 1.65 million shares at 53.919p. Normally you would expect me to stay this was yet another red flag. But on this occasion I do not.

Letter to AIM Regulation : Versarien needs to restate and reissue interims, they are deceptive

The results were so shockingly bad that it is hard to see why Versarien (VRS) bothered to mislead investors. But it did and in a material way and thus I have written to the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation to flag this up and suggesting that odious Neill Ricketts and his disgraced Nomad, SP Angel of the fraud MySquar infamy, be forced to restate  reissue a corrected version. The letter is below.

You would need a Nomad without any morals whatsoever to sign off on junk like this. Luckily Versarien (VRS) employs SP Angel of the fraud MySquar infamy so that’s alright then. These, delayed, numbers for the six months to 30 September 2020 are just piss poor. and also deceptive.

Would I not judge, for instance, Cheryl Cole by a different standard in the looks department than, say, Diane Abbott? Yes I would. And I bet Cheryl is also better at singing, counting and more or less everything else than Ms Abbott too. Management is key to it all in the world of investing as I discuss today.

Neill Ricketts Christmas Carol – Part One

‘Twas the night before Christmas and Neill Ricketts levered his corpulent self into a grand four poster bed in his newly built fake Tudor come fake Georgian Gloucestershire mansion. Bloody Hell, he thought to himself, the boy who left school at 16 with one GCSE in woodwork, (grade D) has done good. He stared at the wall at a large picture of his idol. And Elon stared back.

Letter to AIM Regulation: Versarien lying again

How many letters have I written to the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation about the lies and market abuse committed by Versarien (VRS)? Anyhow, Versarien has told another porky today and so I have written again.

Versarien Buys & lies (again) to cover up its monstrous cashburn

Notwithstanding the receipt of an illegal Government loan from Neill Rickett’s Tory chums and the fact that it had one massive death spiral from Lanstead in place, the cash position of Versarien (VRS) has – as oft predicted here – become so grim that it has had to set up another death spiral to keep the lights on. There is also another daft acquisition which will only add to the cashburn and naturally all this bad news is wrapped up in a grotesquely misleading release which only a Nomad as bent as SP Angel, of the fraud MySquar infamy, could have signed off on.

Versarien: is this £1.95 million of revenue or yet another Government grant? Clarification Needed ASAP

The bulls are creaming themselves. The shares up by 13% at 40p and the cult-like followers of shameless Neill Ricketts say there are now real revenues from graphene sales. But I think not. Letter to AIM Regulation: Versarien must clarify misleading RNS

On 17 April 2020, worthless AIM promote Bidstack (BIDS) published details of an “independent” study that it claimed validated its technology. Following intense pressure from ShareProphets, AIM regulation forced Bidstack to ‘fess on 27 April that the research was not at all independent but was paid for. In that light, I have written to the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation and to hapless and shamed Nomad SP Angel about the release issued by Versarien (VRS) yesterday.

No Turkish Delight from Versarien but a desperate deception to ramp the shares ahead of bailout placing

Versarien (VRS) is not generating any meaningful revenues from graphene. At a PLC level it is almost out of cash & its debt facilities are almost maxxed out. And so notwithstanding the fact that it already has a Lanstead death spiral in place, it needs to get a placing ahoy. Hence a release today which is almost certainly materially misleading if not a slam dunk lie.

Neill Rickets rants as the Versarien cult members start to turn against their high priest

Shares in Versarien (VRS) have plunged from 137p when loathsome boss Neill Ricketts last made hundreds of thousands of pounds dumping stock to just 29p today as the company heads full speed towards running out of cash and a bailout placing shortly after Christmas. BOMBSHELL: How much, or rather how little, has Versarien made from its Lanstead death spiral?

But I can now show why this scandal is far worse and suggests that Innovate UK hands out cash to favoured companies on an utterly indiscriminate and un-monitored manner which no assessment of whether its funding delivers any return or benefits for taxpayers. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Happy to help corpulent Neill Ricketts, I suggest some excuses he can use

Sorry this is late. I have been distracted by the mad world we live in so musing too much on www.TomWinnifrith.com and tomorrow Joshua and I try to bust out of lockdown Wales, like the – now erased from history – Dukes of Hazzard, to visit my Dad so limited copy from me then. Ahead of that I discuss Avacta (AVCT), Versarien (VRS), Sound Energy (SOU), Cineworld (CINE) whose managers I despise, and UK Oil & Gas (UKOG). Okay I am not firing Darren tonight, you can now book your MineProphets tickets HERE

Versarien 24 hours to D day or Not?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: My local Tory MP in Wrexham has gone too far - she is utterly infuriating

The latest tweet from my local Tories just pushes me too far. These folks live on another planet. I start by discussing the tweet below and why it makes me so angry. The bosses at Escape Hunt (ESC) should be, like Sarah Atherton MP (Con), be sent to the gulags of Merthyr Tydfil and I explain why. I look at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Red Rock Resources (RRR), Power Metal Resources (POW) and Versarien (VRS) ahead of next Tuesday.

Then onto a few words about Neill Ricketts, Versarien (VRS), Rolls Royce (RR.), me, Cheryl Cole and the company’s latest promo video HERE. FREE Podcast: ShareProphets Radio Edition 29 with Tom Winnifrith - my Bidstack smearer will be getting letters regarding a legal claim for damages from 8 Parties

I have no guests in this week’s show which is sponsored by Open Orphan PLC (ORPH) where things look increasinly promising. Check out its new corporate presentation HERE. I start with events at Bidstack (BIDS) detailed in free to read articles HERE and HERE where one gender fluid shareholder will, I can reveal in this podcast, shortly be served by eight parties he defamed. That is 8 seperate libel cases he must fight. It should be ruinous. But why is Bidstack lying? I discuss. Then it is onto why shares in general are racing higher. Is that justified? I discuss the forthcoming Shareprophets Shares show on May 9 with its quite amazing speaker line-up. Book your ticket for 70 hours of amazing video content for just £9.99 HERE.  Then I look at why Versarien (VRS) also tried to bamboozle investors over the nature of its dealings with Rolls Royce (RR). Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Versarien's tie up with Rolls Royce - I can reveal how much dosh RR is putting up

I start with a few words about how business is setting the pace on ending the Coronavirus lockdown and wonder if the Government’s hand will be forced. On the subject of Covid 19 my latest podcast is live HERE and explains why I believe the Government has made the biggest blunder in history.  I then reveal what Versarien (VRS) does not want you to know about its “hook up” with Rolls Royce and ask if SP Angel is earning commission on the death spiral and if so why is it not being declared? I look at Tullow (TLW), Open Orphan (ORPH), Novacyt (NCYT) and Collagen (COS). And I suggest that you really should buy a ticket to watch the greatest ever line up at a British investor show HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: No longer a down and out old man but a throwback to the 1970s & I hate James Hay

Yes, after three weeks, I have shaved off a lockdown beard that was white, grey, black and brown and made me look like an elderly Big Issue seller. But having run out of foam i still have a dark moustache and so am now a throwback to the 1970s. The good old days.  I discuss this and also the idea that we will see a dramatic post Coronavirus economic, stockmarket and oil price recovery. I look at Easyjet (EZJ), Angling Direct (ANG) – using it as a case study of how the economy really is snagged so badly – and at the scandal at Versarien (VRS) where lyin’ Neill Ricketts now stands totally exposed with regards to his share dumping a year ago. Surely the regulators must act now. I discuss how James Hay are m aking my life a misery with their incompetence lover my SIPP transfer.  Finally an appeal from Darren please send your views of your new home desks and the views from your window to [email protected]

Tim Kempster beats me to it: Letter to AIM Regulation & FCA re Versariens' shambles of an RNS today & Neill Ricketts share deals

As I noted earlier, the RNS issued by Versarien (VRS) is a shambles and opens up all sorts of questions about share dumping by boss Lyin’ Neill Ricketts last April. I was set to contact AIM Regulation and the FCA about it but it seems that valiant Tim Kempster has beaten me to it. The Regulators really do need to act on this at once. Tim writes

Versarien forced to start to come clean on its dodgy death spiral & China financings – a stink regulators MUST investigate

It is like extracting teeth. Getting the proven liars at Versarien (VRS) and the morally bankrupt evil PR spinners at Yellow Jersey, of the Frontera fraud infamy, to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is a nightmare. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Apologies NoGold is a misunderstood genius & if I were to construct a China based fraud...

In today’s bearcast I start by apologising to someone who is not a pest at all. Then I again discuss Covid 19 and have another podcast on my own website up today which has some relevance to this. I look at surging markets and am sceptical, at Yourgene (YGEN), Genedrive (GDR), FastJet (FJET) and at Versarien (VRS) which has announced a big China deal which cannot be a fraud given the involvment of top nomad SP Angel in doing due diligence and honest as they come Neill Ricketts in constructing the deal.

Letter to FCA & AIM Regulation re potential Market Manipulation or Abuse at Versarien

Yesterday Versarien (VRS) announced a death spiral on steroids which will only postpone bankruptcy and will see the share price shredded but the RNS was, I believe, an exercise in market manipulation and market abuse. Only a Nomad like SP Angel of the fraud MySquar infamy, could have signed off on it. I have written to the regulators demanding that, again, they take action

Versarien & the £6m fund raise which provides not a cent upfront & will raise nothing like £6m - Ricketts lies about cash again

Versarien (VRS) this morning announced “subscription to raise £6 million”. Folks looked at the headline and the shares soared to 31p. Ha! Mugged by Ricketts again! Then they read the release. It is bullshit. Death spiral provider Lanstead is not putting up a cent up front and the total amount handed to Neill Ricketts’ bag of shite company over the next two years could well be well below its monthly cashburn! Ricketts really is the most shameless bullshitter and only scumbags like SP Angel, who took over as Nomad after Canaccord resigned, would sign off on such misleading gibberish which contains one MONSTER lie.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: my distraction from the stockmarket crash is working out my odds of dying from coronavirus

It is a happy game which I have discussed with a couple of listeners. Anyhow, it just shows how data can be interpreted in so many ways. I am, you may be pleased, or maybe distressed, to hear taking steps tpo improve my chances. I then discuss the market crash and how it affects different classes of shares – the issue for us all is not whether our investments are cheap but will the equity in them survive? If the answer is YES then I suspect they are now cheap. If NO well then they are still expensive. I discuss Optibiotix (OPTI), Bidstack (BIDS), Versarien (VRS), Big Sofa (BST), Big Dish (DISH), Restaurant Group (RTN), Ascent Resources (AST), City Centre Pubs (CTC) and also why gold and gold shares are not soaring. Fear not, Malcolm Burne has the experience and the answer. They will.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Neill Ricketts shows his desperation using the Police to try to silence a Versarien critic

In today’s podcast I first discuss the denial of some Versarien (VRSpoltroons wilfully misquiting Patrick Abbott in the whistleblower podcast. Then I turn to what it means for a company to be insolvent and why that is not necessarily trading whilst insolvent. Finally back to Versarien and Neill Ricketts trying to silence a critic using the Police. A) given the way he eggs on the mob to harass me and my wife this is nauseating hypocrisy, b) the Police do not have a leg to stand on and I urge the critic to keep posting so the Police look like fascist arseholes, c) it shows just how desprate Lyin’ Neill has become and as such this is a massive red flag.

Letter to AIM Regulation: After latest Versarien revelation, share dumping Neill Ricketts not fit to be PLC director, please act now

I am not saying that Versarien (VRS) should be slung off the AIM Casino although it is a worthless POS heading rapidly for a cash crisis as it, again, runs out of other people’s money. However, the latest expose about the antics of its CEO Neill Ricketts makes it abundantly clear that he is not fit to run a listed PLC. Since Nomad SP Angel of MySquar infamy will act for any old fraud and does not care I have written to AIM Regulation, which yesterday- after communications from me – forced the company into a fourth fess up RNS in a little over a month - asking that it force him to stand down from the Versarien board.

Versarien (VRS) has been forced to come partially clean and the news is utterly terrible. Versarien owning loons produce a chart of my obsession...

Nope, this is nothing to do with Cheryl Cole. Instead the chart below is intended to show how obsessed I am with the Versarien (VRS) car crash. The chart was published before today’s shock warning and aims to show that I am obsessed or desperate and thus to be ignored. I fear those who have ignored me are rather poorer as a result. But fear not morons, when you have lost all your money and Versarien has been booted off AIM, a then 100% vindicated Sheriff will cease coverage… meanwhile I bet Neill Rocketts is glad he sold so many shares even if he was not 100% honest about the reason!

Does SP Angel, Versarien's new Nomad think that CEO Neill Ricketts lied about share sales he made?

This is an easy way for SP Angel to show it really is a serious Nomad. Does it think that Versarien (VRS) boss Neill Ricketts lied about share sales he made? Tom Winnifrith Photo Bearcast: the flood waters are rising once again, now 2 yards from the Welsh Hovel

I start with the rising flood waters here at the Welsh Hovel, which are now about two or three yards from the bottom step leading to the back door. Then it is onto Coronavirus, where it is starting to sink in as to how bad it could be in terms of fear and our behaviour if not actual deaths. Then onto what filing management accounts means and the question of possible securities fraud at Dev Clever (DEV), which I have flagged up with the FCA today. Then, as per the screenshot below, it is the changing behaviour of Neill Ricketts at Versarien (VRS) and what that tells us about the regulatory hole he is in and why Canaccord quit as Nomad. Letter to AIM Regulation & the FCA – a Really simple Versarien question for you all

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Ian Smith you are in denial and Versarien tell us about the Nike "leak"

I start the podcast with my torture in trying to transfer a pension from the Daily Mail to my SIPP. It got so surreal this week but I might be making, expensive, progress. Then I look at how we often jump to easy conclusions when a share price falls. I am guilty of one such lazy jump. I refer to Versarien (VRS) and UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) in this section. I also have questions for Versarien and its hapless Nomad Bobbie Hilliam of Quindell infamy about the recent spike in its share price. Then I look at Bidstack (BIDS) and investors in denial and finally at Ian Smith and MXC Capital (MXCP) which is leaving the AIM Casino which is NOT what it should do. Smith is in denial too.

Please will Versarien sue me for libel

I have, for several years, warned that the valuation of Bulletin Board darling Versarien (VRS) was crackers. At one point it reached £200 million. As I write, ahead of the market open, it is still – with the shares at 49p – valued at c£70 million. I asked you to nominate the moron making the most moronic comments on twitter or the LSE, ADVFN and iii asylums last week and there were many fine entries as you can see HERE. But the winner is clear and was spotted by me so I win the non prize. From the ADVFN Asylum, Versarien thread

Letter to AIM Regulation: Versarien Breaches of Rules 10 & 11 & sanction of Bobbie Hilliam

Versarien (VRS) has today issued an RNS which suggests that its Nomad, Bobbie Hilliam at Canaccord, has allowed it to drive a coach and horses through AIM Rules 10 and 11. I have written to the Oxymorons at AIM Regulation asking that Versarien and Hilliam be sanctioned and that it force the company to issue a clarifying RNS.

Versarien says it comes clean but it does not! A scandalous RNS that stinks to high heaven

Jeepers I know that Bobbie Hilliam signed off on most of the fraudulent releases made by Quindell (QPP) but how on earth has he signed off from today’s cobblers from Versarien (VRS) which may impress the morons but should set alarm bells ringing.  The issue is cash.

Versarien: now about that tyred old deal? Boom Boom Geddit?

When forced to fess up on 21 January 2020 that its, much RNS vaunted,  US hub was in fact a serviced office with no staff, cash strapped Versarien (VRS) tried to sugar coat the pill by referring to discussions with a leading US tyre manufacturer. That rang a bell. For whom the bell tolls, etc, etc.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Go on Neill, count your £2.5m winnings then tell us about Tungshu Optoelectronic Technology Ltd

Only two subjects today. Firstly, and most importantly, my father and I were expecting to console ourselves with the thought that at least Olaf will be happy. But I am delighted to say we need no such consolation. I refer to Ireland’s triumph today. Then Versarien (VRS)  and a stack more questions for multi millionare Neill Ricketts and a personal challenge to Neill…

The meat of this podcast looks at the seven stages of madness and gref in the life of a Bulletin Board thread covering a Norfolk, with Versarien as my case study. Enjoy.

SHOCKING Expose: Versarien – the day it cannot pay its bills is April 21 2020

A week ago, I demonstrated that by March 31 2020 Versarien (VRS) would be down to cash of £600,000 but net debt of £270,000. So, when is the day that it cannot pay its bills and goes bust? It is April 21, now just 11 weeks away!

This is so easy: here is another shameless promote of zero substance pushed by Neill Ricketts and Versarien: Zap & Go

If you are an AIM listed company and want t tell lies via RNS your go to Nomad must be Bobbie Hilliam of Cannacord. Hilliam signed off on the RNS statements by Quindell that enabled Rob Terry to commit fraud. Now he is in charge of Versarien (VRS) which has also told repeated lies via RNS.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: well done Mark Slater (I think)

I think Mark did the right thing at the Future (FUTR) AGM but do not know as my friend might be a former friend as he does not seem to be speaking to me. I cannot think why.  I discuss this and what next for Future. I announce a 4th Rogue Blogger for Woodlarks and as we hit 2% of target beg you to sponsor us HERE. I discuss the strange lack of news from the stricken Gervais Williams Smaller Companies Fund and what it means then look at Eurasia (EUA) en passant, Miriad (MIRI) in some detail and the horrible problem poor Bobbie Hilliam of Quindell (QPP) infamy faces with Versarien (VRS) after today’s shocking expose.

BREAKING: Versarien – so how is the launch of mobile phones and tablets with Phonedevil Ltd going? Another lie exposed

As part of the ramp of Versarien (VRS) shares in the summer of 2018 ahead of the September bailout placing, the company announced a string of exciting deals. Hmmm.  Given that revenues from graphene are still negligible maybe it is worth hapless Nomad Bobbie Hilliam of Canaccord asking a few questions. He would not want to get caught with his trousers down as he did with the Quindell fraud would he? Take the 18 June 2018 RNS “Collaboration agreement with MediaDevil.”

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Playing the Chris Akers game & another Versarien question for Bobbie Hilliam of Quindell infamy

In today’s podcast, interrupted by the pest Lucian, I look at Chris Akers and what he knows about Dev Clever (DEV), at Versarien (VRS) and an RNS from February 2017 which I urge its hapless Nomad Bobbie Hilliam at Canaccord to consider carefully as his client runs out of money again, at Andalas (ADL), Eurasia (EUA) and Tesla (TSLA). I consider the woes of Bidstack (BIDS) and a company with even less money, the curious trading statement from Zoetic (ZOE) and then do the maths, again, on UK Oil & Gas (UKOG).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Sam Antar will be so proud of Future PLC

I am not saying Future (FUTR) is a fraud just that the way it has responded to Matt Earl’s devestating dossier will make my pal, the King of the Fraudsters, so incredibly proud. At last someone is following his advice on how to deal with critics. I also look at Burford (BUR), Big Dish (DISH), NAHL (NAH),Nostra Terra (NTOG),  St James Place (SJP) who I suggest hires Elizabeth Holmes and Julie “lingerie on expenses” Meyer at once, Versarien (VRS) and Arden Partners (ARD), home of the China fraud specialist Mr Paul Shackleton of Naibu (NBU) infamy.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I write a perfect script for a Versarien owning moron as I fall out with Lucian

In today’s podcast I look at Versarien (VRS) and explain why Lucian Miers and I have fallen out over this one on the latest edition of ShareProphets Radio. I look at Tern’s (TERN) bollockese trading statement and ask “when’s the placing” or “Show Me The (lack of) Money”. I look at the (bad) news from UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) regarding Horse Hill and for me the numbers still do not stack up even with the shares having slumped to 0.675p. This will be entertaining if, I suspect, utterly pointless. I also comment on Versarien (VRS) correcting a BB loon – and flag up that I have a major AIM expose of a high profile, shortable, stock going live tomorrow morning. Letter to AIM Regulation – Versarien (again)

Two days ago Versarien (VRS) was forced by AIM Regulation, following a complaint by me, to ‘fess up that its much vaunted US “hub” was in fact an empty serviced office where nobody works. But in that ‘fess up RNS it made another claim which may or may not have been verified by the hapless Nomad, Bobbie Hilliam of Quindell infamy, now working at Canaccord. Thus, I have again written to AIM Regulation as you can see below.

New Bulletin Board Moron contest in honour of the savants who own Eurasia Mining

Last night I was flamed on twitter by a host of Eurasia Mining (EUA) investors, a group who made your average Versarien (VRS) investor look like a true multi brained genius. I kid you not. One wanted me to hire him as a journalist as he had posted a few comments on BBs about Eurasia and that, he thought, qualified him. Another said I couldn;t be a proper journalist if I did not interview Eurasia, preferably by flying to the Indaba coke and hooker fest. And so it went on. The fact that Eurasia lies to investors ahead of fund raises & abuses market rules in private chatrooms was dismissed as irrelevant. Anyhow this is a hint as to where to seek out a winning entry in this week’s contest. What is the most moronic post you can find on the ADVFN, iii or LSE Asylums or on twitter? Entries should be posted in the comments section below with a deadline of midnight on Sunday 26th.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Both ADVFN & Versarien forced to fess up thanks directly to my actions

Both Versarien (VRS) and ADVFN (AFN) have been forced to issue major ‘fess ups today directly as a result of my actions. I explain how both cases show just why AIM is not working at all, naming names why the Nomad system is failing you all and what happens next. And yes it is a day of fecking triumph for me and this website.

Yet again Versarien forced by the Sheriff of AIM to ‘fess up to misleading investors & the love that dare not speak its name

In May of last year uber ramp Versarien (VRS) proudly announced a major US move. Unfortunately what it said was grossly deceptive and after I wrote to AIM Regulation last week it has today been forced to ‘fess up to this. Neill Ricketts is increasingly like the naughty boy sat outside the headmaster’s study almost every lunchtime hoping it is just another beating not a letter to his parents saying he must leave the school in disgrace.

EXCLUSIVE: Versarien – even management or the auditors no longer believe a substantial growth in Graphene sales is credible in the near future

The annual report does not lie. It is just a shame that the Bulletin board savants do not read them carefully. Like all companies, Versarien (VRS) is required to carry out an annual impairment test to justify the carrying value of goodwill recorded on the balance sheet which is £4,431,000 and comprised the following:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: TW is a fecking idiot it is all about the future, historics do not matter

I clarify my share purchase ion Otibiotix (OPT). I discuss the revelations yesterday about the breakdown of historic income at Versarien (VRS) explaining, to BBMs who claim it does not, exactly why it does matter! Then I discuss whether Terry Smith’s golden run is about to break badly for him. Do not get me wrong, I think Smith is an absolute top banana but I have a doubt or two.

EXPOSE: Versarien – are graphene sales just a nano amount of group turnover? The hard and shocking data revealed

Uber ramp Versarien (VRS) refuses adamantly to break out how much of its business is actually involved in graphene. It is the graphene hype which explains why the shares are at 79.5p valuing the company at £122 million. The legacy non graphene activities may generate real sales but will never be material cash cows and thus are fundamentally almost worthless. So how much does Versarien actually make from graphene?

Good companies just do not behave like this – non financial red flags at Eurasia and Versarien

Lucian Miers and I have covered Versarien (VRS) many times, looking at the maths as to why the shares, at 79.5p having fallen back a good bit, are still monstrously overvalued. It was one of Lucian’s sell tips of the year HERE and he, and I, reckon that fair value is sub 10p.  Eurasia Mining (EUA) is another AIM casino ramp which, on fundamentals, looks to be massively overvalued. I would not be a buyer of the stock even if it fell by two thirds from the current 4p.

Letter to AIM Regulation – Versarien again and another misleading RNS

AIM Regulation has now acknowledged my complaints about the secret chatroom inhabited by Versarien (VRS) boss Neill Ricketts and his disciples where Neill told them what to post on Bulletin Boards and where the disciples discussed how to get around insider dealing rules and how to attack me. The complete radio silence from Ricketts since then suggests that investigations are very much ongoing. In that vein I have another matter to raise with the regulators, that of possible investor deception. My letter just sent is below.

Anhow, if you enjoy bearcast please show so by donating HERE.  Thanks in advance for your support and also for the birthday wishes. As you can see in the comments section HERE there is a poster on ADVFN who seems to think he can save Versarien (VRS) by suggesting, falsely, that I am a paedophile. Normally I’d ignore such pond life but I am almost tempted to teach him a very expensive legal lesson in libel law. What do you think?  Then it is onto a story dictated by NMC Health’s (NMC) PR team to yellow journalists at the Mail on Sunday. Tom Winnifrith Beacast: The cancer of private chatrooms for shameless ramping by AIM Casino bosses - will AIM Regulation act?

As I reveal that it is not only Versarien (VRS) up to no good in this respect but also Eurasia Mining (EUA), I wonder which other shameless PLC rampers are up to no good and will AIM Regulation do anything to stop an increasingly disorderly market becoming an open sewer? I look at retail shares and real estate plays on that as more evidence emerges that my very long term “avoid the lot like the plague” stance was correct. I look at changing brokers at Cenkos (CNKS) and Condor Gold (CNR) and Premier Miton (PMI) and what the AIM Casino demise of SalvaRx (SALV), where managers are talented, says about the dangers of backing a cash shell.

Optibiotix – not my preferred measure of disclosure

Do not get me wrong. I am a big fan of Steve O’Hara. I think he is doing a cracking job at Optibiotix (OPTI) where – as a loyal and very material (for me) shareholder – I expect to see the shares more than double from 62p within the next year. However, I’d be a hypocrite if I did not hold O’Hara to the same standards as obvious scallywags like Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) when it came to the disclosure of material information.

In today’s bearcast I look at fat yob Mike Ashley’s latest outburst on Goals Soccer Centres (GOAL), at Galantas (GAL), Bidstack (BIDS), Versarien (VRS) and at the tale of woe that is Cabot Energy (CAB) where the behaviour of the board in relation to potential wrong doing compares very unfavourably with that at Goals.

If it sounds too good to be true….which brings me back to Versarien

On the occasion of the news that Neil Woodford had been fired as manager of his soon to be wound down flagship Equity Income Fund, the great man posted a comment on his Pravda-esque blog saying that he could not accept the decision.  His arrogance did not surprise me. What shocked me, as I noted HERE, were the comments by unit holders which were universally supportive of Neil.

Align bust up is funny but the spooof newspaper articles Gary Newman alerts us to below about Premier African (PREM) are hilarious. But some folks believe them and the shares up up 71%. Bonkers. Elsewhere I look at fund outflow at Miton Group (MGR) and what that all means and at the most overvalued ramps on AIM: Versarien (VRS) and Bidstack (BIDS) where Cynical Bear thinks there is no need for it to warn that it will miss broker forecasts by a mile even though he accepts it will. If you want to stop babies dying you need to back Versarien... Ricketts on twitter drivel

Versarien Spanish deal: Neill Ricketts thrilled, the Spanish don’t seem to give a toss

There is still no sign of any clarity from Neill Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) on his company’s tie up with BIGT, an enterprise without a website, phone number or any web presence at all. But to keep his disciples happy, the Messiah of Graphene hype has borrowed Adam Reynold’s laptop to hammer out news of another exciting collaboration.

Versarien: Letter to Nomad Canaccord and AIM Regulation re share dealing by boss Neill Ricketts

Yesterday AIM uber-ramp Versarien (VRS) was forced to issue a statement about a tweet posted by its boss Neill Ricketts the day before as a result of Thursday’s bearcast and an email I’d sent to regulators that day. But the response itself is nonsensical and raises the very real question of whether Ricketts sold shares in April while sitting on inside price sensitive information. I have thus sent another email to regulators at AIM Regulation (the Oxymorons) and to Bobbie Hilliam of Quindell infamy who acts as Nomad to Versarien at Canaccord.

Versarien – I told y’all

Versarien (VRS) is the reason why everyone should sign up with Primary Bid right now. Most Primary Bid offers are ones that I have no hesitation in telling you to avoid like the plague, being trapped in a lift with Emmanuel Macron or both. But just occasionally one comes along that is really worth punting on. I told you on Friday that Versarien was almost certainly in that category HERE. Today I am vindicated.

Today's Primary Bid offer is Versarien at 145p - you know I am almost tempted (in a shabby way)

At 175p Versarien (VRS) is valued at £263 million. I cannot argue with two writers on this site (Lucian and Cynical) that the valuation looks absurd based on historic profits and cashburn or even on some of the more optimistic forecasts. But it has now announced it is raising £2.9 million (or more) at 145p via Primary Bid and I am almost tempted to have a flutter. Here's why...

HERE. In the podcast I look at Versarien (VRS), Optibiotix (OPTI), Big Sofa (BST), Sosandar (SOS), Audioboom (BOOM), Wh Ireland (WHI), Symphony Environmental (SYM) and Feedback (FDBK)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Supplying the IDF means Versarien can do no wrong in my view but...

I am now fully recovered from yesterday's 27 mile training trek in the 30 degree heat - something I describe in full HERE. If you don't like me or the Israeli army or Versarien (VRS) and enjoy my suffering please donate to the Woodlarks charity walk on July 28 - we are now just £31 from 50% of our target fund raise. Be generous HERE. On the podcast today I look at Versarien, UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) where Lucian Miers is taking one hell of a beating from big Dave Lenigas, MySquar (FRAUD) - 7 days to courtroom drama - 88 Energy (88E) - you were warned - Mosman (MSMN)  and Frontera (FRR). I also look at new leverage limits on spread betting coming in on 29 July and what that means in nanny state Europe and the UK.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Now John Meyer at SP Angel, it's time to fess up about the Court case and MySquar

Firstly, I detail my latest training humiliations here. To those bearcast readers who have sponsored my charity 32 mile walk I say thank you, to the 95% of you have not, please give a tenner HERE. In the podcast I look at Stratex (STI) where the wrong management is following the wrong strategy and which is a dog with fleas. I look at MySquar (MYSQ) where Nomad John Meyer of SP Angel needs to stop turning a blind eye and come clean - tell us about the Court case looming in Singapore John! I look at Andalas (ADL), defend Neil Ricketts of Versarien (VRS) over share sales and then have a long discussion on CyanConnode (CYAN) where I fear an OW is implicated in a looming cash crisis accompanied by the the stench of boardroom greed with grotesque rewards for failure. It is shocking stuff.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - that Dominic Frisby is a very funny fellow

I was chatting to Dom Frisby this morning ahead of the Sarries evening tomorrow which is the first part of UK Investor (gold tickets only).  More on that in the podcast where I also look at UK house prices, Ascent Resources (AST), Immupharma (IMM), investing in biotech, PCGE (PCGE), MySquar (MYSQ) and its new marriage from hell and at Versarien (VRS). Tin hat on after that annoying its deranged fans by daring to ask questions. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 - THIS SATURDAY - one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Make sure you book a free ticket HERE using the promotional code WINNIFRITH.

Tom Winnifrith Photo Bearcast: FFS DO NOT WAKE JOSHUA

Friday is one of my two and a half days a week when my 17 month old son Joshua is not at nursery and I am the primary carer. I am such a fucking feminist it is unbelievable. In fact I am almost expecting Harriet Harman to call for the Mrs to start giving me vast sums of money for being such a role model. Anyhow, I record with Joshua snoring so if I speak quietly it is so as not to wake him. In this podcast I cover Angus Energy (ANGS), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), IQE (IQE), Versarien (VRS) and Sosandar (SOS), shares in which I am VERY happy to own.  My son and heir is pictured snoring away below.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - that Alzheimer's really kicking in today

In today's bearcast I ponder why on days like this I bother. I look at Big Sofa (BST) shares in which, I am delighted to say, we own. I look at Versarien (VRS) owning morons at former Rob Terry fave Imaginatik (IMTK), for strategic review read we are fecked, at SIG (SHI) and at Image Scan (DOG).  PS Ben Turner calls me to say we did not fire him. As I said Alzheimers.  I am happy to stand corrected.

Is Neil Rickets of Versarien a spiv? NO! is he selling more shares? Maybe? Are some of his shareholders morons? YES!

Yesterday I posted a series of questions for Neil Rickets of Versarien (VRS), who I have always described as a nice guy even if I think the valuation of his company is crackers. To his credit he has come back ( from China) with full answers but so too has one of his shareholders a  Mr A. Moron.

Versarien - is the CEO a total spiv and is he dumping shares?

On 7 December 2017 Versarien (VRS) announced that its CEO Neil Rickets had exercised 250,000 options at 12.25p - options that still have 5 years left to run. On 5 January the company casually announced that he had sold the shares on 4 January at 61.5p. Hang on Neil mate...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - P45 for Amanda Van Dyke? Warning bad language alert!

I stgart with some bad language as I prepare for coffee with the fit young mums. Then it is on to Kefi (KEFI), Countrwide (CWD) and finally, at length, Paternoster Resources (PRS) where change is afoot. I also discuss the duties of a CEO, should he be a share ramper, ref Versarien (VRS).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast, Versarien, Meyer, Woodford & Joshua learns foul language from some "Ladies"

So yesterday saw Joshua go to his first proper football match - Brislington Ladies vs West Ham Ladies. A full photo report will follow later but the language from the Essex Girls in claret and blue was not very lady like. Listeners, I was shocked. On the markets I look in detail at Versarien (VRS), Greatland Gold (GGP), Velocys (VEL), RM2 (RM2)  and as well as Nomates Neil Woodford I also have some Julie Meyer news, I fear that "Praise Be the Lord" may be about to send me a letter.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - The Versarien debate, putting Lucian into context and Slater & Woodford on "cheap" Britain plays

I discuss Lucian's short on Versarien (VRS) which he discusses again today HERE. I really have no view but raise a couple of points which the bulls might take comfort from though I accept there is a valid bear case too. I look at On-Line (ONL), Lucian's new short,  and try to put Blockchain madness into a historic context. I cover BCA Marketplace (BCA) and then look at the Mark Slater & Neil Woodford thesis on "cheap British stocks." I get it but suggest that there is an elephant in that room called Jeremy.

This is becoming a regular Friday feature - an after hours offer from Primary Bid for increasingly credible placings. The last one was Ascent at 1.85p - its shares, 3 weeks later, are 2.375p which is great news for our readers who took part. Next up is Versarien (VRS) which is raising £1 million at 15p.
