I have cousins in Scampston, Pickering and near Whitby and so know this part of the world well. It is gorgeous. A year ago, we were, in fact, on holiday in Pickering for a week – the whole family loved it even though Joshua was not impressed that the steam train was not running. If you are tempted and think that there is no basis at all for mask madness and lockdown lunacy and are looking for somewhere to stay, I suggest you need look no further than Rosedale. Back this business.

Those crazy acronyms from Hitler’s Germany and Stalin’s Russia are back in vogue. Welcome to Britain 2020. And specifically welcome to Scarborough and the North Yorkshire Local Resilience Forum (NYLRF) – a body comprised of freedom-hating little men and little women from the Ambulance service, Fire Brigade, the NHS and the local councils. The Police are also members but rarely attend as they are too busy taking a knee.

I remember walking last summer, as a practise for my annual 33 mile Woodlarks jaunt, past the town of Keynsham in Somerset. It is named after Saint Keyne, a welsh lady, who reputedly lived by the river, an area swarming with snakes, but through prayer turned them to stone. She was in my mind as last week I was in Whitby heading up to the ruined abbey with Joshua and the Mrs.

I had never been to Pickering before, or not that I remember, but it was where we decided to rent a cottage in the week after the New Year. Most attractions were closed, notably the North Yorks Railyway which annoyed Joshua greatly. But I managed to meet up with two cousins of my mother and we had fun in Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay as well as being almost the only visitors on a bitterly cold day at the Flamingo Land zoo near Malton.

Sorry for the late bearcast - just back from the 20 week scan. All on track, fingers crossed. I end with news about Mr Bagot, the penioner mugged by WH Ireland. I start with Metal Tiger (MTR) and my story of earlier and the comments of morons. I then move onto African Potash (AFPO) and Blenheim Natural Resources (BNR) before ending on Andalas (ADL) - where's the RNS Mr Dave "I break the rules" Whitby? I also cover Strat Aero (AERO), see HERE, and Goldenport (GPRT).

Just to show that UKIP does not have a complete monopoly on Nutters, and to show balance I refer you to Labour Councillor Simon Parkes from Whitby who says that he has sex with an alien four times a year and this is causing tensions with him human wife. Ok. Compared to Ed balls on Economics this seems quite plausible but none the less...
Cllr Parks says that he has had a child called Zarka with an alien who he calls the Cat Queen. Mr Parkes, a driving instructor by trade,
The driving instructor, who has three children with his human wife, said the intercourse with the alien happens about four times a year. “What will happen is that we will hold hands and I will say ‘I’m ready’ and then the technology I don’t understand will take us up to a craft orbiting the earth," he said.
Parkes has also claimed he was abducted by extra-terrestrials as a child and that his “real mother” is a 9ft tall alien with eight fingers. But residents of Whitby should not worry. Parkes states:
“It’s a personal matter and it doesn’t affect my work. I’m more interested in fixing someone’s leaking roof or potholes. People don’t want me to talk about aliens. I get more common sense out of the aliens than out of Scarborough Town Hall.”
Cllr Parkes UKIP application interview video, oops sorry I meant to say revelations of his alien experiences, can be watched below.
