Catenae (CTEA) is a great example of a pointless AIM company. When it was called Milestone Group it racked up continual losses which have continued under the Catenae name. It had a brief spike in its share price during the COVID era as the usual suspects ramped its shares on the basis that Catenae had blockchain technology which might be valuable but of course it wasn’t because who wants to use software from a tiny subscale loss making group to monitor a national population’s vaccine status.

The blockchain to NFT to AI to whatever bandwagon is next entity run by ex ADVFN boss Clem Chambers with well remunerated help from his sons, that is Online Blockchain (OBC), must surely be running on vapours. Finally it seems that investors are waking up to the lifestyle joke that this is. Gone are the days when the shares were pumped by Clem’s pals allowing a placing at 100p. The shares are now just 13p.

And now from Wales, by just 30 yards, it is my new weekly video show. This costs 99p per episode, and you can either listen to, or watch, some sparky interviews with Charlie Morris a bitcoin guru where we also discuss gold and the markets and Malcolm Palle of Aquis listed Coinsilum which is now an NFT play Plus there are a few thoughts on wider stockmarket issues from me. This bitcoin, blockchain & NFT special has a lot of gags but is also, I hope, pretty informative. You can access the show HERE

This costs 99p per episode, and you can either listen to, or watch, some sparky interviews with Richard Poulden on Wishbone Gold (WSBN) where I own shares and am a bull and on his other company Upper Thames (UPPT) a blockchain play where I cannot hide that I do not get it at all and Chris “Three Brains” Bailey on what he is buying and on macro-economics.You can access the show HERE

Wildcat (WCAT) was established as a private company on 8 January 2020 with £50,400 of share capital. Those shares are now valued on the Standard List of the London Stock Exchange at just over £30 million. The whole blockchain related affair stinks because the real tangible value of this enterprise is 99% less than that! Let me explain.

I am a shareholder in the disaster that is Argo Blockchain (ARB) thanks, I think, to Richard Jennings of Align who suggested I back the IPO. Richard is a bull after today's news but as I explain in bearcast HERE I am not and think he is talking bollocks. But in the interests of balance here is what Richard has to say:

The full year results from Online Blockchain (OBC) do not look that terrible until you compare them with the interims at which point you start to ask just when will the money run out. This statement is terrible and, understandably, the shares – 200p at peak ramp earlier this year – have slumped another 3p to 22p-27p. Ouch.

The final part of Tuesday night's Nigel Wray UK Investor City forum was a debate on bitcoin, blockchain and goats between myself and Dominic Frisby. I think I had the best jokes though Dominic is the comedian. Anyhow it was fun and, I hope, informative. The next Wray City Forum is on December 3rd so put the date in your diary now.

In today's bearcast I look at the idea of a bear market on AIM, Cenkos (CNKS) as its CEO walks (again), Versarien (VRS), Plutus Powergen (PPG), First Derivatives(FDP), Mysquar (FRAUD), Mayan (MYN) and Wolfe Minerals (WLFE). Due to a bit of a mix-up there are a newly available handful of tickets to next week's wine, canapes, Falanx (FLX) and Premaitha (NIPT) evening in London with me ripping Dominic Frisby apart on blockchain and bitcoin as a bonus. To grab your seat for 16 October book HERE

There are now fewer than 30 places left for the next Wray family organised UK Investor evening seminar in central London. So if you want to book a slot do so now HERE. The event kicks off with drinks and canapes from 5.30 with the first talk just after six. It will be a packed evening.
Falanx (FLX) has a 20 minute presentation and will take questions for another ten or maybe more. As a supportive e but long suffering shareholder I have a couple of questions myself. Then it is Premaitha (NIPT) which presents for twenty minutes but will face another twenty minutes of questions INCLUDING A NUMBER FROM ME !!!!!
There this then a session where I plan to tear into bitcoin and blockchain believer Dominic Frisby about the ponzi he appears to think holds water. Then more drinks and canapes.

First things first. If you want free booze, canapes, a chance to see me rip Dominic Frisby apart on blockchain and bitcoin and to hear presentations from and quiz Falanx (FLX) and Premaitha (NIPT) then book a seat for 16 October in central London HERE. In today's podcast I look at Premaitha (NIPT), Avanti Communicatiuons (AVN), Cabot Energy (CAB) and the scandal it won't discuss, Greka Drilling (GDL), SpaceandPeople (SAL) and add to Gary's piece on a CEO who should be going straight to jail and not collecting £400 on the way, Brian McMaster of Jangada Mines (JAN).

I add to my earlier comments on troughery at Frontera (FRR) HERE by showing it is bankrupt. I cover Concepta (CPT), Fishing Republic (FISH), the Widecells (WDC) scandal and Wolf Minerals (WLFE).

We had the bear case on Argo Blockchain (ARB) from Cynical Bear over the weekend, I corrected a few points in bearcast yesterday but admit that I am clueless about my first blockchain stag. Now we have the bull case, 195% upside from 12.5p. The shares are now 13p. I should caveat that the detailed research report below was penned by the dribbling refugee from the Northern slums, the widely despised Richard "Gollum" Gill but if you are interested...

No, I still do not understand this blockchain malarkey but FWIW we have stagged the IPO of Argo Blockchain (ARB) on the standard list today at 16p. The fund raise was just so impressive. Argo set out to raise just £6 million.

Thank God for small mercies. Now we can start a rota on who has to listen to Brokerman Dan blathering on about blockchain and what a frigging genius Clem Chambers is. For now there is a third rogue blogger joining us as we walk the 32 miles from Horse Hill to Woodlarks on July 28. He is a man who knows Horse Hill well…

I met up with Asaf from TechFinancials (TECH) the day before the show. We had a bit of a disagreement about Syria but moved swifty on as he tried to explain blockchain and his ICO to me - and I think I almost got it. Here he is at the UK Investor Show doing the same. Enjoy.

Background. Last year Paul turned up late for the UK Investor Show bearcast as he had gone to the wrong venue. This year I felt safe as two hours before the bearcast I knew Paul was due on the main stage with Paul Jourdan & Nigel Wray and he would not screw that up would he? Er.... As I walked off from the previous session I was told Scott was running 10 minutes late and so I agreed to start his session with Wray and Jourdan for him. 35 minutes later I was still there, over-running by a few minutes but managing well ( I thought). Still no sign of Scott. Anyhow in this bearcast I start off with five minutes on Blockchain with Malcolm Palle of Coinsilium (COIN) then it is onto Scott who seems not to understand that a fact is something that has happened, it is derived from the Latin. Opinions are not facts! Enjoy!

If you are my age you may remember the song, it was a hit when I lived there and today i head over to stay with the same folks as i lived with more than 30 years ago. Ahead of that there are more words on the gender pay gap data abuse as covered in detail HERE and then I cover Vela (VELA) and a bursting blockchain bubble, Vitesse Media (VIS) - opportunistic scumbags - Infrstrata (INFA), Inspirit (INSP), Collagen (COS), MySquar (MYSQ) and Frontera (FRR). And there may be major news on Air Partner (AIR) soon, I seem to have found a whistleblower. Happy days. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Make sure you book a free ticket HERE using the promotional code WINNIFRITH.

Michael Pole has been a metals bug for a long time, and he is still bullish for that sector. He was working at Barclay’s in 2008 and witnessed the Lehmann collapse. Interest and development in the cryptocurrency space has been increasing and is beginning to upset the finance industry. He argues that it’s difficult for companies and governments to want to adjust to a changing market. This is allowing small companies to disrupt the existing status quo.

Milestone Group (MSG) has announced a memorandum of understanding with Seed Media Limited and Martin Heath with a joint venture that is intended to be owned 50.5% by Milestone. The proposed deal has two things in common with the proposed deal with Black Cactus namely that underlying technology to be used is Blockchain and the fact that Seed Media like Black Cactus is technically insolvent and loss making.

And so the blockchain spoofing continues. Step forward Stapleton Capital (STC), a standard list shell listed on 21 September to invest in telecoms. The Nomad is Roland "Fatty" Corniush, the most incompetent financial adviser in the known universe so, on that basis, Clem Chambers blockspoof Online Blockchain (OBC) must feel under no obligation to tell the truth as it places £1 million at 100p. This is the stuff of peak bull market insanity.

Andrew Left of Citron Research is one of the sharpest cookies in the global shorting conspiracy. He has just recorded an interview on CNBC discussing two blockchain/bitcoin shorts in the US. Change your name and your shares soar even though there is nothing there? Sound familiar Clem?

This is a total car crash video interview with Longfin's CEO and CNBC. I discussed the insanity of Nasdaq star Longfin in bearcast yesterday but the CEO seems to agree with me about the valuation. I am still in a foul mood. Bah fucking humbug. The season of Goodwill is cancelled. This podcast contains a lot of bad language. I look at blockchain madness: Coinsilium (COIN), On Line (ONL), Vela (VELA) and Longfin (US:LFIN) on Nasdaq. Buy why is Milestone (MSG) missing out? Well Larry Cummins is a liar and that is just for starters. I look at Fishing Republic (FISH) where a statement is needed and then there is a detailed look at the latest horse served up by Uk Oil & Gas (UKOG) which is a stand out slam dunk sell for reasons I explain in detail.

I hold no candle for either Roger Lawson of ShareSoc or ADVFN (AFN) but Lawson has made the most serious of allegations about ADVFN's AGM of last week which surely the company needs to answer and thus I bring Lawson's words to a wider audience. While he is at it Lawson has a go at ADVFN's business model and its blockchain spoofery.

I discuss Lucian's short on Versarien (VRS) which he discusses again today HERE. I really have no view but raise a couple of points which the bulls might take comfort from though I accept there is a valid bear case too. I look at On-Line (ONL), Lucian's new short, and try to put Blockchain madness into a historic context. I cover BCA Marketplace (BCA) and then look at the Mark Slater & Neil Woodford thesis on "cheap British stocks." I get it but suggest that there is an elephant in that room called Jeremy.

Uk Oil & Gas (UKOG) today provides a case study in death spiral share price destruction. The only question wis whether the provider converted another tranche a few days ago and UK has not bothered to tell us or whether it converted today and is already selling hard. Elsewhere I look at the Tony Baldry car- crash on the way at Wesztminster Group (WSG) and try to put director share purchases at Condor (CNR) and Concepta (CPT) - which we own - into perspective. I look at Yolo (YOLO) which does not impress me much and blockchain madness at Vela (VELA). I ask what I should get the Mrs for Christmas, I am out of ideas.

The only suprise is that the market abuser Chris Oil has not rebranded as Chris BlockChain. But after an absence of well over a year from the public arena, the man who, modestly, compared himself to Warren Buffett is back! Hooray, his investment advice has always been a golden (counter) indicator.

I start with the issue of whether Blockchain bonkers-ness is so 1997 as comrade Malcolm Palle of Coinsilium (COIN) - which we own shares in - says or late 2000. I explain why it is the latter and cite today's bonkers share price move at On Line (ONL). Then it is on to MySqaur (MYSQ), Xaar (XAR) and Bagir (BGR) which is, I think, talking bollocks.

In this bonus podcast prompted by recent events at African Potash (AFPO) and ADVFN (AFN) I look back on other bouts of market insanity. There was the radio boom of the 1920s and the dot com boom of 1999-2001 but is the blockchain bubble at 1999, 2000 or 2001? Among the companies also mentioned are On Line (ONL), Vela (VELA), Milestone Group (MSG) and Coinsilium (COIN), where we have a small holding. Madness, my friends, is in the air.

Shares in On Line (ONL) are - as I record - up c350%. Is this peak blockchain insanity or is Clem Chambers simply the greatest spoofer in the history of mankind? What happens next is the big question. Then I look at murky share dealings in Mkango Resources (MKA) by market abuser and serial fantasist Chris Oil. Does he not care about TR1 rules at all? Then it is onto Lombard Risk Management (LRM) where I have 2 more questions about its overdraft but a very big question about how the silky words of Phil "InterX" Crawford on July 19 tally with the utterly shite H1 results. Does Nomad Finncap of Telit (TCM) infamy care? I suspect it does not. I look again at BCA Marketplace (BCA) - THE BIG SHORT - in light of recent macro data. It remains a stupendous short. I look at management greed and an impending placing to fund that at Arian Silver (AGQ) and then at the dire interims from System1 (SYS1) and profits alert from Attraqt (ATQT). It is the former which remains a stonking sell even after today's share price collapse. And I have a question or two for AIM dog Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO)

I really do not get this bitcoin shite at all, however much my pal Dominic Frisby tries to explain it to me. I just fear it will end in tears but I am cognisant that some folks have made a complete killing on it so far. In a podcast with Palisade Capital, sector guru Michael Pole makes some bold calls. Is this just the start of the gold rush or are we close to dotcom bust in 2001?

I do not understand Bitcoin, blockchain technology and the like. I leave that to smarter folks like Dominic Frisby who will be presenting on it at Gold & Bears and my good friend Jim Mellon who will – I’m sure – mention it in his G&B talk. This could all be the next phooey hype but it could be big so I’m getting a small exposure via Coinsilium – a two year old blockchain investor listing on ISDX later this month. I’m backing Jim’s judgement on this one.
