Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: If you are a bored Londoner at 2.30 PM Wednesday there is a great bunfight brewing

The participants are disgraced James Parsons and Richard “nobody, apart from Brokerman Dan, likes me and I don’t care” Jennings and the occasion is a Corcel (CRCL) investor meet on Wednesday not Tuesday as I mispoke in the podcast . Go along and take a camera and send me the film. I also discuss Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO), Oxford Nanopore (ONT), Ceres Power (CWR) and Dianomi (DNM)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: a snake spotted and a mother-in-law joke

I start with an unlikely bromance as Brokerman Dan and Richard “nobody apart from Dan Levi likes me and I don’t care” Jennings walk for cats - as you can see here. Then the mother-in-law joke. actually my mother-in—law is a top banana so maybe I should not be so rude. Then a go at BBC Radio 4’s Today programme as I comment on events in Russia. Then the woolly thinking on inflation and home owners. Finally Gary’s excellent piece on Contango (CGO) today and why he is bang on the money.

If so, and it concerns the Chill Brands (CHLL) expose earlier HERE, drop me an email. Then I turn to Avacta (AVCTand my earlier comments HERE. Then it is onto Supply@ME Capital (FRAUD), Cineworld (CINE), Amigo (AMGO) & Purplebricks (PURP), four horseman of share price madness. Then onto the impending collapse of Wildcat Petroleum(WCAT) and to Fusion Antibodies (FAB). Finally I might even have to show a picture of Brokerman Dan’s grots if you do not donate HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast:Tory sleazebag David Williams of Avanti does it again - now 98% vindicated on Arqit

Faking a product demo to gain funding is fraud and Williams boasted about doing that so the Tory scumbag should not threaten me, as he has threatened others, with a lawyers letter for calling that out as an act of fraud. I discuss his antics at Avanti (AVN) and then Arqit Quantum (US:ARQQ) about which I warned at $37.41 on December 3 2021 HERE and at $5.65 on 17 June 2022 HERE. Its shares are now 73 cents but the company is still valued at $90 million. My target is zero. I discuss in detail. Then it is onto IQE (IQE), Mirada (MIRA), Future (FUTR) whose £1.06 billion market cap is a joke. I looked like a right prat on this one for a while but you cannot defy gravity forever. Which brings me to Cineworld (CINE), Cellular Goods (CBX) and today’s total spoof from Chill Brands (CHLL) which the morons have fallen for hook, line and sinker. Do they never go to Companies House? Finally: it is 30 days to Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks and less than 4% of you have donated. I repeat the Brokerman Dan underpants threat, please do make a donation HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: If you don't want me to talk about Brokerman Dan's underpants...

You know what to do HERE. After discussing that subject linked to sock wearing techniques on long walks, I look at Wood Group (WG), Scotgold (SGZ), Eurasia Mining (EUA), Pembridge (PERE) and at the wise words from that clever fellow Evil Banksta which convince me  after yesterday’s bearcast HERE  that Tullow (TLW) is in fact a stonking short. Sorry Malcolm.

SHOCKER: Brokerman Dan robbed by ADVFN

This is outrageous and enough to make one lose all faith in the integrity of some in the financial markets. Today ADVFN (AFN) has announced its 2022 financial awards where past winners include Ronnie Kray (re-distributor of the year), Bernie Madoff (fund manager of the year) and Gordon Brown (economist of the year).  The correlation between those financial services companies receiving awards and those advertising heavily on ADVFN is, as ever, just a pure coincidence. The main award is the blogger or blog of the year. Naturally nobody associated with this website has ever won…

Breaking – Fantastist penny share huckster Chris Oil facing bankruptcy order from broker within two weeks: City source

If you wondered where the fantastist penny share spiv Chris Oil had got to, I fear that news from the man who lives with mummy and daddy in a fake castle does not seem good. I revealed that he was on the hook to his erstwhile pal Brokerman Dan Levi for £150,000 a year or so ago. Luckily for all the talk of shotguns and past villany, the reality is that Dan is too much of a nice guy for his own good and has yet to issue a formal statutory demand against Mr Oil which would lead to the fantasist being declared bankrupt. But

Saturday 29th May I walk 34.2 miles – will you please sponsor me and the other Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks?

I seem to have pulled some muscles in my back and shoulder and am in a bit of pain which will make tomorrow’s 34.2 mile walk from Winchester Cathedral to Woodlarks even more “fun”. But walk I shall as the quite amazing charity said that it needed to cover its costs in this year when its revenues have been eliminated by lockdown by us raising £48,000. So I will walk and I will finish. I won’t be alone but ask that you do your part and sponsor me as we seek to raise that £48,000. To those who have already done so, I say thank you, to the rest of you…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Ignoring Brokerman Dan's advice on underwear for walks as I do 24 miles today

The photos later (not of underpants), the walk is done but I paid the penalty of ignoring dan’s golden rule. We have now raised more than £14,000 and as you think of my pain today will the 96% of bearcast listeners who have yet to donate please do so here. Otherwise I will talk about Dan’s underpants again. In the rest of the podcast I take issue with ex soccer player Andrew Johnson on tax and then look in detail at the claims made by Versarien (VRS) about its graphene enhanced face nappies and why they do not stack up at two levels and, as such, why there really should be a UK product recall.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: This is for Cliff - the corruption of the press expose + Zoetic screwed by Path statement

This is for Cliff weight of ShareSoc. I discuss incidents in my life on Fleet Street showing the corrupt nexus between financial PRs and the press in action. I hope you all find it amusing as informative and relates to this fight I got into earlier today. Then it is onto Brokerman Dan who is a visionary analyst of health stocks, notably MyHealthChecked (MHC) as PL and I are agreed. Finally Zoetic (ZOE) has been exposed by an RNS today from Path Investments (PATH) which is damning. Its implications are clear, Zoetic is now mortally wounded; however, its evil PR spinners tried turd polishing earlier today.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: A former bank robber pisses on Supply & Zoetic shareholders from the moral high ground

Thank you Brokerman Dan for supportive words, you are always welcome at the Welsh Hovel and indeed my son often asks when you are coming again. But when a self confessed ex con pisses on folks, like certain shareholders in Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and Zoetic (ZOE) from the moral high ground, you know such folks dwell in the moral sewers. I discuss the reaction to today’s Zoetic bombshell and what happens next. I also look at Big Dish (DISH), Agronomics (ANIC), Dev Clever (DEV), Bidstack (BIDS) and Verditek (VDTK) speculating on the bailout placing prices at 2 of those 5. Then I discuss Bacanora Lithium (BCN) where I might be tempted to have a punt.

Photo Article from the Welsh Hovel - the Old Kitchen starts to become the new Utility Room

When we arrived, this was a galley kitchen 1970s style with a nice asbestos roof cladding. It can be so much better as its back wall is the old brick and timber external wall from the oldest part of the house. It just needed a stack of work. This room adjoins the 1600s kitchen when renovation work is almost complete.

Photo article: Uncovering a seventeenth century gem at the Welsh Hovel - Part 1

Work at the Welsh Hovel is now taking place in what has been the dining room but will become the main kitchen. This part of the house was bolted onto the original hovel but is still very old. We uncovered a window tax window on its outside in what was the hidden room, a tiny room plastered in by the previous owners which you enter from the library but lies on the outside wall of the dining room. So one can date the dining room as pre 1696.

The Greek Hovel August 2020: Day 4 the Arrival of Uncle Johnny

Photo Article from the Welsh Hovel - a wall from the 1600s emerges

It was the A Team at the coalface yesterday, myself and Brokerman Dan. For some reason he thinks that the idea of someone he dubs “the Oxbridge Intelligentsia” picking up a hammer or a crowbar is rather amusing. Anyhow we both got stuck in to the wall at the back of the main living room, where we unearthed an enormous fireplace last week. When the Welsh Hovel was built first in the 1600s it was far smaller and the living room was on three sides facing external wall: the fireplace wall faced the river, the sash windows wall faced the lawn and the back wall was just a back wall. It was that wall we tackled as you can see below.

Photo Article from the Welsh Hovel - dramatic discoveries in "the mother-in-law's bedroom"

The room next to where I sit right now is not part of the original house. It was added on in the 18th century and together with the room above was once, I believe, the servants accomodation. For the past sixty years – or more – it has been termed the annexe and treated as a seperate property, boarded apart from the main house. That boarding was removed and so the annexe has been reunited with the main house. It is where my mother in law may one day reside. With that in mind I am cracking on with its restoration and what I have discovered in the past 24 hours is shocking.

My penultimate appeal for your cash – five days to the Woodlarks walk, more than £15,000 now raised – we want & Woodlarks wants and needs twenty!

Yesterday was my last big training walk – 22, 23 or 24 miles in the Somerset hills. I am not sure how long it was as the signs were dreadful and I got a bit lost.  But I made it and feel confident that this Saturday coming up I can do the 32 miles from Horse Hill to Woodlarks with fellow rogue bloggers Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I shall make this simple - how close to insolvency is Cabot & are its ex CEO and FD insider dealers?

You have less than a week of me berating you but as we celebrate Optibiotix (OPTI) reaching 100p ( twice) today I ask you to spare a tenner for a great cause. We are more than 80% of the way to hitting our £20,000 walk for Woodlarks target so ahead of 32 miles of pain for myself, Brokerman Dan & Lucian Miers please donate HERE. Elsewhere I look at IQE (IQE), Frontera (FRR), SalvarX (SALV), Pantheon Resources (PANR), Golden Prospect Precious Metals (GPPM) and finally what may be a major scandal at Cabot Energy (CAB).

Getting half lost in the Somerset hills – my last big training walk before the monster on Saturday

On Saturday myself, Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers, aka the rogue bloggers, will walk 32 miles from the infamous Horse Hill “Gatwick Gusher” oil well to Woodlarks, aiming to raise £20,000 for that amazing charity. Reminder – Woodlarks needs that cash to up its income from just £126,500 last year, to close its deficit and keep doing its amazing work providing holidays for handicapped folks who would otherwise get none.  Yesterday was my last long training walk…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast- is this ex Jim Mellon stock the biggest joke valuation going?

Ok, I am back from a 22-24 mile walk which I shall write up tomorrow but if you could smell my feet? I know many of you hav e donated to Woodlarks ahead of next Saturday's 32 mile stroll by myself, Brokerman Dan and Lucian Miers and we have now raised £14,267.88 but to those who have not donated, PLEASE DO SO NOW HERE. In today's podcast I discuss the CBI talking Brexit shite again - it does NOT speak for British industry. I remind you we have no house view, ref Sosandar (SOS). I raise two questions arising out of a Saturday lunch Joshua and I had with Highland Natural Resources (HNR), notably who will back my new goat lending business. And I look at an ex Mellon stock, Okyo Pharma (OKYO), its valuation is a 100% rum and coke and I explain why.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - The £172k court case Safestyle is keeping quiet about & why Chris Bailey's City pal is wrong

I recorded this on my last night in Greece. As you listen I shall be starting the trek back to Bristol. I appeal to those yet to donate to the Woodlarks charity walk by myself, Lucian Miers and Brokerman Dan to donate HERE - we are at 69% of our £20,000 target and every cent pledged will make a difference. Thanks to a reader for spotting a court case involving Safestyle (SFE) which is utterly shocking - I reckon this makes the stock uninvestable. I then take issue with the analysis of a City pal of Chris "three brains" Bailey on the matter of fraud.

A third rogue blogger joins the 32 mile Woodlarks Charity walk – now get donating!

Thank God for small mercies. Now we can start a rota on who has to listen to Brokerman Dan blathering on about blockchain and what a frigging genius Clem Chambers is. For now there is a third rogue blogger joining us as we walk the 32 miles from Horse Hill to Woodlarks on July 28. He is a man who knows Horse Hill well…

Walking through the burning Greek Sun - not plain sailing

My 32 mile walk for Woodlarks with my fellow rogue blogger, Brokerman Dan, is now just two weeks away and I am conscious that most of my training has been on the flat. What better way to prepare for the Surrey hills than to walk up a Greek mountain in the burning summer heat? And so at 8.30 AM off I set....

RogueBloggers4Woodlarks in Manchester Slums caption Contest Result

As you may know I showed extreme bravery in meeting Brokerman Dan on his home patch, in the Manchester Slums, last weekend. For that alone you should sponsor me ahead of my 32 mile walk for Woodlarks with Dan on July 28. We are now over 65% of the way to our £20,000 target. If you have not yet donated please do so HERE. The Manchester summit was captured on film as you can see below and I asked you for captions for the photo -  many were supplied.

Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks visit Manchester slums - caption contest (deadline midnight)

Tomograph readers will know that I ventured to the grim north over the weekend to the slums of Manchester and there I met up with Brokerman Dan. Surely my bravery in heading to the post industrial welfare safari deserves some reward. My next meeting with Dan will be on July 28 as we walk 32 miles for Woodlarks. Sponsorship, to date, now tops £13,000 (£15,500 with gift aid). Thanks to those who have donated already, to those who have not I am sure you can spare a tenner HERE. Meanwhile Dan is the shorter one on the left, dressed like he's just left the Pride march. How about a caption contest? Do you worst in the comments section below - deadline Tuesday midnight.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Putting on a smart shirt as the van speeds away

As you can see HERE, I have spent the morning loading a white van as boxes of my stuff heads out to the Greek Hovel which might just have a roof by the weekend! Yesterday i was in Manchester and braving its slums albeit with Brokerman Dan providing security was heroic. For that, if not for the planned 32 mile walk with Dan how about you give a tenner to Woodlarks HERE. On the podcast I cover Optibiotix (OPTI), another victim of Julie "lingerie on expenses" Meyer MBE on the phone, Stobart (STOB), FairFx (FFX), Mothercare (MTC) and - with not too much sniggering  - the flop at me-too Viagra play N4 Pharma (N4P)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel (including Daily Mail journalists)

You don't care what I say today, all you care about is the football. Indeed: come on Eng-er-land. I reflect briefly on the soccer, then cover Mrs May's Brexit sell out, why I'm not voting for the party of the useless and treacherous old hag again, and finally discuss the idea that British companies should not be bought by "dirty foreigner", ref Inmarsat (ISAT). I cover Optibiotix (OPTI) en passant and am glad that thanks to the incredible generosity of Nick Leslau, myself and Brokerman Dan have now raised £13,000 - 65% of our target - for Woodlarks ahead of the 28 July charity walk. Check Nick's donation and perhaps give a tenner yourself HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: after 27 fecking miles in the sun I must have sun stroke - defending a PR firm ( St Brides) & also Jim Mellon

I feel like shite, hence the late bearcast. I managed it! 27 miles in the heat today has taken its toll. I am in real pain in all sorts of places. Enjoy that pain TW haters, revel in it and make a donation HERE I could have walked 32 miles today but did not - that treat awaits me and Brokerman Dan on July 28. He is training hard too. Enjoy his pain and please donate HERE. In the podcast I pass on market intelligence on Optibiotix (OPTI), discuss Cynical's massive expose on Kibo (KIBO) HERE and then leap to the defence of both a PR firm and the asset stripper Jim Mellon. It must be the sun...

27 miles in up to 31 degree heat – yesterday’s practice trek for Woodlarks.

It is now less than four weeks until myself and Brokerman Dan try to walk from Horse Hill to Woodlarks to raise money for this charity which I have backed for 16 years and which does amazing work as you can see HERE.  Dan is far fitter than I am and sent late night texts on Friday saying that he had  managed a 21 mile walk but was a wreck and needed a lighter rucksack. I know it is hot up in Manchester what with all those fires on the Moors but I think he is kidding me. It is all psychology. My plan was to do 26 miles on Sunday.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Radio 4 misguided, ShareSoc Pompous & wrong, Amigo revolting

Tomorrow is my longest training walk yet for the Woodlarks 32 mile charity walk with Brokerman Dan. I plan to set off at 5 AM on a 26 mile trek. Think of my utter pain in this awful heat and please give £10 to a great cause HERE. I then look at the recent Radio 4 programme on shorting which was sprinkled with pompous and half-witted comments from ShareSoc. They are naive and have it all wrong and I explain why. Then I look at whether share dealing should be ethical - ref Dave Lenigas  and his ramping of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG)  - should we all get on board? Finally I look at the IPO of Amigo which I find revolting at every level.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - talking to one of the 3 X's for almost an hour

The 3Xs are the fraudbusters best friends. In this case it was one of Julie Meyer's 3Xs and a new source. we chatted for just under an hour. More to follow. Oh dear, poor Ms Lingerie on Expenses MBE. In the podcast I look at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Purplebricks (PURP), Frontera (FRR), FastJet (FJET), MySquar (MYSQ) - where I have again contacted John Meyer urging him to get off his fat arse - Andalas (ADL) and Magnolia Petroleum (MAGP). The good news is that sponsorship of the walk I'm doing with Brokerman Dan for Woodlarks is now, with gift aid, at almost £11,000. I explain here why this walk makes the difference bewteen Woodlarks having to cut services or carry on, please do give a tenner today.  Think of my pain - not least in having to hear Dan talk total bollocks about Andalas for whole day - and COUGH UP HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Sorry I made a mistake yesterday

The mistake in yesterday's podcast was on Telit (TCM). In fact it is even worse than I thought! The good news is that sponsorship of the walk I'm doing with Brokerman Dan for Woodlarks has now topped £9,000. I explain here why this walk makes the difference bewteen Woodlarks having to cut services or carry on, please do give a tenner today. This afternoon sees Joshua and I on another training walk, my second in two days. Think of my pain and COUGH UP HERE. In a long bearcast I predict that, after today's shocking news, FastJet (FJET) will be sold for £1 and explain why. I look at Havelock Europa (HVE), 88 Energy (88E), Lyin' Steve Sanderson's UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Frontera (FRR), Andalas (DOG), Mysquar (FRAUD) and Audioboom (BOOM).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: what is loathsome ex Tory MP Tony "Fatso" Baldry of 3DM infamy really saying

In this podcast I reflect on how the UK is going to the dogs commenting on South West trains and the award of the Orwell prize to a proven specialist in fake news. George will be laughing in his grave. I cover boardroom shenanigans at Telit (TCM), shameless ramping at Andalas (ADL) which is really worth 0p, Frontera (FRR), D day looms, Westminster Group (WSG) and the ambiguity of loathsome ex Tory MP Tony "Fatso" Baldry of 3DM infamy, Rossylyn Data (RDT), Dillstone (DSG), Cluff Natural Resources (CNR) and its pomopus arse of a founder and Optibiotix (OPTI). now I see that evil PR spinner and crony capitalist Reg Hoare has donated to Woodlarks in support of the my sponsored walk with Brokerman Dan. we are now just £31 short of £9,000 and 45% of our target - go on, do the decent thing and chip in HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the fraudster's best friend in journalism, Ben Harrington, does his master's bidding again

In today's podcast I cover in detail Telit (TCM) and also look at MySquar (MYSQ) partially in light of today's stunning news HERE. I look at Audioboom (BOOM), Frontera (FRR), Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT), Prime People (PRP) and 88 Energy (88E). Tomorrow I will be bored to death by Lucian Miers, he will drone on about West Ham for 6 hours as we complete a 19 mile training walk from Bristol along the Avon to a few miles past Bath. I am building up to my 32 mile walk for Woodlarks with Brokerman Dan on 28 July. Think of my suffering tomorrow and please donate a small sum HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: cheering on anyone playing the fecking Argies

I record with Argentina and Iceland in the background on mute. Hell's teeth who on earth could support the fecking Argies? I explain the sheer torture Brokerman Dan Levi has in store for me in six weeks time and give him a reason to add to that. Andalas (ADL) is utterly worthless crap and his commentary on Friday and the statement that resulted utterly stinks. Anyhow consider how he will torture me as we walk 32 miles, feel sympathy and SPONSOR ME HERE. Then I look at Paul Scott winning an award for PR and at events at Theranos and Tesla.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - I said he was mad, I was wrong

In today's Bearcast I reflect that it is now just 6 weeks and 1 day to the great event. With gift aid myself and Brokerman Dan have now raised more than £8500 for Woodlarks. As I prepare for a 14 mile training walk this weekend please do sponsor me - I am sure you can afford to donate a tenner HERE. In the podcast I look at Orosur Mining (OMI) - down 48% today but still 90% overvalued - UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Kefi (KEFI) - where we own shares - RedstoneConnect (REDS), Purplebricks (PURP), Neil Woodford and Feedback (FDBK).

Walking, walking, walking – update on my training for Woodlarks, another day of humiliation

I see that  Brokerman Dan, who will be walking 32 miles for Woodlarks with me on July 28, has tweeted about completing a 15 mile training walk. My 7.5 mile training walk for Woodlarks today became a 10 mile shocker - blame cousin Johnny

My Woodlarks charity walk training plan for today was simple. My training path is the 2.5 miles path along the River Avon between Conham Hill car park and the Chequer's pub. It is a splendid walk which on Tuesday I did alone both ways (5 miles) and on Thursday I also did both ways but with Joshua in his buggy. Joshua and I saw ducks, swans, a train on the hill, all sorts of boats, a heron, blossom, a horse, it was great fun.

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast - Pinsent Masons & Daniel Stewart sued for £180m over the Naibu fraud I exposed - happy days

Pinsent Masons was at the heart of the dirty tricks campaign Sefton Resources (SER) waged against myself and Brokerman Dan Levi as we exposed wholesale lying and fraud. Pinsents was thrashed in Court when Sefton sued us for libel. Scumbag low life motherfucker Pinsents partner Russell Booker was never disciplined so I guess it thinks dirty tricks against journalists are okay. Daniel Stewart (DAN) also sent me lawyers letters but never accepted my kind offer to "see you in Court bitchez", Anyhow the two are being sued for £180 million for their negligence over the Naibu (NBU) fraud I exposed HERE. I discuss that but also why Paul Scott should apologise to 6,000 House of Fraser staff losing their jobs in this bonus podcast.

My first training walk for Woodlarks completed - don't laugh 5 miles is okay says Brian

In just under two months I shall be doing a 30 mile walk for the excellent Woodlarks Charity with my friend the blogger and former bank robber Brokerman Dan. Dan is rather fitter than I am and keeps tweeting messages about how he is just popping out for a quick 10 mile training yomp. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - surely you want Brokerman Dan in his underpants all over the internet?

Sorry Matt Earl. Brokerman Dan says that if we raise our target £20,000 for Woodlarks with our 30 mile charity walk on July 28 he will do the last mile in his underpants. Now the Woodlarks charity walk. We have now raised just over £4,000 (nearly £5,000) with gift aid. I also look at Andalas (ADL) - the worst oil stock on AIM and which is STILL not answering valid questions as its shares collapse again. I look at Akers Biosciences (AKR) and, in detail, at IDOX (IDOX). Finally...97% of bearcast listeners  have NOT yet sponsored myself and Brokerman Dan for our 30 mile Woodlarks walk. Forgive the late bearcast. Blame it on Greek Hovel business. I then take up Andrew Monk on AIQ (AIQ), Petra Diamonds (PDL) and the idea of consolidating brokers and Nomads via M&A. It makes no sense Andrew. Then I look at the GoTech (GOT) shambles - its now a dope play but frankly you must be a dope to own this stock. Then I cover Optibiotix (OPTI) again with a point folks like Cynical Bear have missed. Finally its i3 Energy (I3E). Thanks to those who have sponsored me as I suffer the dual agonies of walking 30 miles and having to listen to Brokerman Dan drone on all day, but 99% of bearcast listeners have not yet donated a tenner. Monty Python explains the true value of Andalas & the 4 questions it must answer NOW!

I was told last night by the PR spinner to Andalas (ADL) that I should be asking about its new focus in the North Sea, how it will build value, yadda, yadda, yadda. FFS This company has no assets of value, it is burning stacks of cash every day and has NEGATIVE Net current assets of up to $2 million, even after the £600,000 placing on Monday - what don't you understand about the words "FECKING INSOLVENT" darling? I leave it to Monty Python to explain the true state of Andalas below. Reloaded: Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - my new fecking phone is the shepherd of Porlock, apologies & a P45 for Darren Atwater

Version 2. Darren cut off 6 minutes of the podcast first time around. I am a nice guy. I will not fire him...until Monday. After many years I have upgraded from a Nokia brick to a sort of smart phone but I cannot work out how to answer calls or indeed shut it off or put it on silent. So in this podcast it very much plays the shepherd of Porlock.  In the podcast itself I discuss my domestic arrangements ahead of the return of the Mrs and a weekend with the mother-in-law ( some of us have all the luck) then look at TrakM8 (TRAK), RM2 (RM2), Online Blockchain (OBC) and reminisce about Sefton (SER) and Jimmyliar Ellerton, prompted by a long chat with Brokerman Dan last night. In detail I look at Fishing Republic (FISH) which looks, to me, an increasingly sick puppy. If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Elsewhere I look at Purplebricks (PURP), Angle (AGL) and the corruption of Fleet Street, Brokerman Dan again showing that he did not train as a journalist but as er..something else as he looks at Big Dish a stock where I have no knowledge or financial interest  I also look at the disgraceful news today from Nick "not for the many but the" Trew at Pathfinder Minerals (PFP) and at ITM Power (ITM). If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Brokerman Dan literally robbed in new ADVFN awards - surely he had a hat-trick in the bank?

ADVFN (AFN) has today published its list of big advertisers on its website, oops I meant to say its awards for outstanding contributions to financial services. As ever I take the list of winners with the gravity that is merited. They really are the cornerstone of the financial calendar these days. But one fact screams out at me: BrokerMan Dan Levi was on a hat-trick as share blogger of the year - surely he had the title in the bank. But he's been robbed.

Tom Winnifrith bearcast: this time Neil Woodford is only talking 50% bollocks but what about Brokerman Dan on Ascent you ask?

The publicity hungry, failing, fund manager Neil Woodford is all over the papers. On the markets he's right ( and bearish) but when discussing his own (failing) funds he is talking utter bollocks and I explain why. Brokerman Dan (Levi) has formed a shareholder action group on Ascent Resources (AST). I discuss his case against them and make a few suggestions to the company. I comment on R4E (R4E) on the disgraceful behaviour of Pathfinder Minerals (PFP), look at RM2 (RM2) and then finally at Sabien (SNT) which look either to be on the brink of a last gasp fundraise ( at a more than 99% discount to the IPO price) or of insolvency. In the same breath I mention Inspirit (INSP), another AIM boiler room dog that should be shot.

The Andalas Dilemma: Shareholders are caught between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

The only real question at AIM Casino uber dog Andalas Energy (ADL) is who exactly is the devil? On the one hand there is the incumbent board led by disgraced Dave Whitby and on the other hand you have a shareholder action group set up by the colourful Brokerman Dan (Levi). The shady rampers behind Mkango exposed by Dan Levi - palpable lies behind this worthless crap

Comrade Brokerman Dan has today revealed quite appalling lies told by promoters of the worthless AIM rare Earths disaster in waiting Mkango Resources (MKA). This shows both what amateurs they are and also the dishonesty surrounding the company. Dan and I will be putting Mkango to the sword as it presents in London on 17 November. Register today to join us. Now read on and see why these shysters must be exposed.

Diary Date: Join Tom Winnifrith & Brokerman Dan putting Mkango Resources to the sword

It was almost four years ago to the day that Jimmyliar Ellerton of the fraud Sefton (SER) arranged to do a ramptastic presentation in London to try to lie to enough people to get another bailout placing away. Sadly for him both Brokerman Dan and I attended and we absolutely wiped the floor with the old rogue. It was the start of his downfall. To celebrate that Dan Levi and I have both booked in to a Mkanago Resources (MKA) presentation ...let battle commence. Fancy coming along? We gather beer and popcorn will be provided by the venue.

The weirdest LinkedIn profile ever...Brokerman Dan joins facebook for grown-ups

LinkedIn, aka Facebook for grown ups is where those in the business world connect with each other and oggle good looking PR birds from the world of commerce or humourless left wing lawyers who look like a squirrel. In your profile you say what you are good at and joining LinkedIn today we have Dan Levi, aka BrokermanDan. Now just look at his profile - it has to be the most unusual out there. Whatever else you say about him, Levi can be quite amusing.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: come on Dad it is not a hard sum!

These old folks they need mental exercise. Crosswords, jigsaws, Soduku, easy questions from their son. But my father fails on the how many days till Glenwick (GWIK) is suspended question. He says his mind is on higher things. Meanwhile I am still traumatised from being seen buying a copy of the Guardian for him. I look at Red Rock Resources (RRR), Glenwick, Leed Resources (LDP), Aquatic Foods (AFG) and China frauds, BoxHill (BOX) and naughty Lord Razzall - how is the bailout placing going your lordship? And I commend the recent work of Daniel Levi (Brokerman Dan) on Mkango Resources (MKA) where the old rogue is bang on the money. Mkango is truly worthless.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I don't care if Brokerman Dan used to be a ballet dancer

I explain why there was no bearcast yesterday. Then I look at the allegations made by Brokerman Dan against Nostra Terra (NTOG) and its CEO Matt Lofgran. Nostra did itself no favours at all but insists it has done nothing wrong. I tend to believe it however... Then I look at Marechale (MAC) Servision (SEV) and Vislink (VLK)

Former Bank Robber accuses Shareprophets of fraud - Ho Ho Ho

The power of greed - insolvent Mkango raises more than £1 million, Chris Oil buys more - bargepole!

Brokerman Dan has sent me an email saying he hears I am ramping Mkango Resources as I have taken shares. For the avoidance of doubt I'd rather suck Daniel's cock than get shares in this insolvent piece of crap. Actually I would not but you get my general view. Nine days ago I told you to "avoid this like the plague". If that is ramping I am a banana. I can only conclude that Mr Levi is, for some reason, hearing voices.

Video: Paul Atherley of Berkeley Energia at UK Investor Show

Post the Dragon's Den sessions we found ourselves owning shares in Berkeley Energia (BKY). Steve and I reckon these shares are worth at least 45p, watch the video to see why we are so excited. Incidentally when we first tipped them at 20p, Brokerman Dan Levi said this was a rotten tip and stuck the knife in. Time for an apology Mr ex bank robber?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 3 days to Holiday: Yippee & Wildes is a comic genius

In three days I shall be at the Greek Hovel with the snakes, losing weight as I engage in manual labour, leaving Steve in charge. Today I deal with silly emails from Brokerman Dan Levi. Plus ca change. In today's podcast I look at Metal Tiger (MTR) and Conroy Gold (CGNR), a company that really needs Metal's Midas touch. I look at Marechale capital (MAC), Fitbug (FITB), Arian Silver (AGQ), Wishbone (WSBN) and in detail Servision (SEV). And I have had a complaint to the FRC rejected. Drat.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Bullshitting Finals - Rose vs Linney vs Brokerman Dan vs Golden Saint

Today's Bearcast contains bad language. Brokerman Dan Levi is not the only four letter word used. In it I cover Avocet Mining (AVM) and Waz Shakoor, Rose Petroloeum (ROSE), Outsourcery (OUT), Golden Saint Resources (GSR), Wishbone Gold (WSBN) and bullshitting by Brokerman Dan, New World Resources (BWR), African Potash (AFPO), the china fraud Jiasen (JSI), Blenheim (BNR) and Andalas (ADL) and bullshitting by Flip Flop Ben Turney, Big Gib and other rampers. As ever they are talking cock.

Postscript: I now have Wishbone Gold on the record. No placing is underway. It looks like the bank robber wins today's bullshitting contest.

Dave Whitby of Anadalas (ADL), what was once uber ramp CEB, should be in prison for his crimes against AIM. I have linked at the side of ShareProphets to an article by someone who was in prison once, Brokerman Dan, on Andalas and the old bank robber is bang on the money. In five days this company could be booted off AIM. It wont, I think, but will survive only by doing things that stink to high heaven. I also discuss today's Project Fear lie, this time on fuel prices

Proof that Pinsent Masons Partner Russell Booker urged Sefton Resources to make fraudulent BB smear postings - leaked email emerges

City law firm Pinsent Masons acted for Sefton Resources (SER) as it attempted to gag myself and Brokerman Dan (Levi) from exposing the fraud at the heart of that company under Jim Ellerton. We stood up to Pinsent Masons bullying and won that libel case. Sefton caved, Ellerton was fired and we had our costs and damages paid by Sefton. Now I have obtained a leaked email which shows how Pinsent Masons partner Russell Booker urged Sefton to make fraudulent internet postings to discredit myself and Dan. Pinsent Masons claims to be an ethical firm. How can it be ethical if it does not fire Booker at once?

Mickey Mouse ADVFN Awards - I lose again, Stanley Gibbons wins - whatever

Last year in ADVFN's financial services awards the share blogger of the year was Dan Levi, Brokerman Dan, aka the business partner of ADVFN head honcho Clem Chambers. Natch I was gutted not to win so what about this year. Shucks. The awards were announced this morning and once again I am not even mentioned. Double shucks.

The blogger of the year is Robbie Burns who wrote a best selling book about 15 years ago. His website appears to feature a new diary entry about once a month. These days Robbie earns his living charging an arm and a leg for his trading courses. He who can does he who cant teaches but am sure it is different for this guy. Anyhow well done Robbie. Maybe if I stop breaking the biggest stockmarket frauds on a regular basis and cut down to one article a month I might win next year?

I note that Robbie is in good company in the award winners. The best research analysts are Edison. You mean the folks who are paid by companies to churn out shite bullish notes to ramp stocks ahead of placings? Yes indeed,

Yes one of the three is Brokerman Dan. Some of you may not feel the greatest of sympathy for him but when he and others ponied up a total of £4.2 million at 2p for what they were told was "seed financing" for Lenigas Cuba (CUBA) they were not told that at the same time David Lenigas and two pals were getting more than 50% of the equity in this POS at just 0.01p. That funding was the seed capital and Levi and others were fleeced.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 23 January: Bank Robbers, Purists, Rampers & other shite

I am not in a good mood. Is this more to do with the reaction to Brokerman Dan's piece here yesterday or an impending trip to the Grim Northern welfare safaris to see the mother in law. Anyhow this podcast contains a lot of bad language. I discuss Daniel's contribution. The market was in a good mood yesterday and thus a number of wholly irrational share price spikes get covered: Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN), XCite Energy (XEL), Condor Gold (CNR) and especially Highway Capital (HWC) which I cover in detail. I also explain why I remain bearish and comment on Aureus Mining (AUE) which announced a "strategic review" i.e. it is totally fucked.

Then onto the losers: Galasys (GLS), TyraTech (TYR), Northern Petroleum (NOP). Then it is Golden Saint Resources (GSR) where I also try to help out hapless compliance officer the Northern Slum refugee Richard "Gollum" Gill by explaining the rules about a financial promotion.  I missed out FastJet (FJET) - down on weak passenger data, can anyone remember anyone involved in its IPO who might be a red flag? Brokerman Dan spent 16 years in High Security Prisons – Tom Winnifrith comment

I knew about this last week, but yesterday afternoon ex Sefton (SER) boss Brokerman Dan (Dan Levi) outed himself and revealed that he had in a former life spent 16 years in high security prisons for a variety of offences some involving firearms. Brokerman Dan – An Apology and a Comment or Two on Sefton Resources

Brokerman Dan feels that this website has slighted him in suggesting that after a flurry of bullish tweets on Sefton Resources (SER), he and his little friend Chris Oil sold their shares last week. Dan Levi insists they have sold none. Okay.

In the past Chris Oil has sold shares in Sefton on the same day as he tweeted that folks should buy. But 2+2 does not always equal 4, as the great Rob Terry would say. I take Levi at his word and thus I am happy to apologise on behalf of this website and I look forward to a complete lack of RNS’s on this matter to 100% vindicate my old friend. Old Sefton run by Jimmyliar Ellerton responded to criticism from myself and Brokerman Dan – in the days when he was a journalist not a crony capitalist – with a smear campaign sanctioned by Pinsent Masons ( as you can see HERE). Sefton may be changing its name to Stryker but the own goals and old habits continue.

Blocking someone on twitter is NOT free speech denial

Anyone can set up a twitter account in minutes. And once on twitter you can shout out to the world what you want. Of course if you call a Police Horse gay, tweet a burning poppy or insult David Cameron the Old Bill might feel your collar if you happen to live in Airstrip One. But if your sole purpose is to insult non-celebs (i.e. Tom Winnifrith, rather than Tom Daley) you can tweet pretty much what you please.

And so it should be. I support free speech to the hilt. Some of the interventions by the Old Bill are disgraceful, a matter I have highlighted here before.

But free speech does not mean that I have to read what folks tweet.

Sad about Deirdre Barlow but what is this about a serial killer in Manchester

My wife, a lifelong devotee of Coronation Street was naturally devastated about the death of Anne Kirkbride who played Deirdre Barlow in Coronation Street. This tragedy  was not reported in her paper of choice, the Guardian, so it was left to me, skimming the red tops at the tobacconist, to break the sad news to her.

As I have admitted before, I have started watching Corrie myself to get an insight into what life is like in the grim, frozen post-industrial welfare safari park that is the North of England. As far as I can make out about one fifth of the population is a homosexual, most folks are on welfare but the rest earn their living selling drugs, selling stolen goods or shipping stolen goods in white vans while a few work in factories making underwear. Everyone in the North lives in a house with a partner and some kids who belong to one half of another couple living elsewhere down the street. And someone gets murdered in the street every six months. It is all very baffling.

But now I read of “the pusher” a serial killer

Explaining the difference between cocaine and washing powder to a Northern git

On top of my fireplace at the Greek Hovel in a picture I published the other day is a large bag of white powder. At once the self-styled Northern Barons my good pals Doc Holiday and Brokerman Dan were tweeting in a frenzy that I had a large stash of coke with me. Dan reckoned I was going to dose my Albanian workers tomorrow and get the olives harvested at record speed. I am sorry to disappoint the Northern gits.

For behind the bag is a box marked Tide. This is a product called “washing powder” which in the South of England we use to wash our clothes. In the North I guess they just hang their shell suits out in the rain until they are marginally less grubby and then leave them to dry next to the pigeon loft. The next time that my good friends trek down from the welfare addicted wastelands of the Grim North I will try to explain to them what this is all about.

The picture below is of the washing powder but also a larger bag of yellow powder which is Sulphur which I use on the edge of the garden to keep snakes away.  For readers in the Grim North who might not understand what a snake is it is a bit like a Quindell shareholder. That is to say it has a small brain but some varieties are poisonous and no-one likes any of them. The only difference is that snakes can be worth a bit of money.

Video Postcard #86 – The EU £1.7 billion money grab on the UK – lies, damned lies, UKIP lies and statistics edition

In my weekly personal video postcard I look at the issue of the EU’s money grab on Britain, why UKIP is not the answer but why leaving the EU is.

In my financial video postcard I look at the kerfuffle and all the allegations about David Lenigas, Brokerman Daniel, Horse Hill. Neither of the two men are angels. For the avoidance of doubt neither do I claim to be a saint. However both Lenigas and Dan have come in for unfair stick in recent days and I explains why some of that criticism is so wide of the mark.

Doriemus: Disposal Makes Sense. The shares are a buy and comrade Brokerman Dan is wrong

Doriemus (DOR) became an oil company via a RTO of AIM listed TEP Exchange. On Friday it was announced that the TEP business is to be sold to managers for £1. My friend Brokerman Dan (Dan Levi) reckons this is a gross cheek and says he is bidding £1000.

Dan is right about most things. On the matter of Middle East politics he stands firmly with Hamas whose formal charter talks of sweeping the Jews into the sea and which last week described Jews as cockroaches. He is profoundly wrong on that matter as I explain HERE. He is also wrong on Doriemus and the sale but on pretty much everything else he is correct. And I should say that the self appointed spokesman for hs fellow Manchester slum dwellers is generally a thoroughly good chap.

Ex Sefton boss Jim Ellerton is a liar and conman without shame – he should be in prison, instead he is trying to screw Sefton again

Results yesterday from Sefton Resources (SER) were predictably dreadful. The silver lining shareholders had hoped for was that after December 31st 2013 ex-boss Jim Ellerton would no longer be a drain on this AIM Cesspit posterboy. However, it seems not. Jim is still trying to relieve Sefton of any cash it might have. The man has no shame. I call on the current board to take steps towards trying to ensure that Ellerton goes to prison where he belongs.

As a reminder: Ellerton was forced to leave the Sefton board by the toothless AIM Regulation team which deemed him not to be a fit and proper person to sit on an AIM board and boy there is a low threshold there.

That came after I revealed that Ellerton was either a perjurer or had been using company funds for his own purposes or both – see HERE.

The AIM team should have booted him out well before for lying about output numbers and many other matters over many years and then raising money on the back of those lies. Ellerton was a conman and a liar and should have gone to prison.

Of course Ellerton compounded his woes by using vast amounts of shareholders cash to sue me and Brokerman Dan for libel last year for calling him a liar and a conman. And we all know how that turned out don’t we. Smiley face. Smiley face. Smiley face.

And so as at December 31st the grossly overpaid old liar left Sefton under an agreed compromise settlement agreement.  But it appears that the old rogue has not gone back to his luxury Hawaii mansion to spend more time with his foxy wife Carol. Sefton is essentially bust but Ellerton wants more

Out of Prison, vindicated: Brokerman Dan hits who he wants

My good friend Dan Levi, broker man Dan, was on Thursday released from prison having spent seven weeks there on remand. He was cleared of all charges in court and has a formal “Not Guilty” record sheet. I hope he will now go after the Old Bill for compensation. I have known where Dan was “residing” for some weeks but have stayed schtum until now to protect his family.

Join Myself, Dan Levi, Malcolm Stacey and the share tipsters at our bloggers café on April 5

We are ringing the changes at The UK Investor Show on April 5 in Westminster. One big change is the introduction of the bloggers café – a special area where writers like Brokerman Dan, Doc Holiday, Malcolm Stacey, Malcolm Palle from Mining Maven, Robert Sutherland Smith, Steve Moore and myself will spend much of the day, blogging, tweeting and just chatting to anyone who wants a chat over a coffee.  Hopefully my fave Tory blogger Charlotte Argylle will also join us at the cafe.

Of course we are not the main attraction but this is another reason for you to book a seat at the UK Investor Show this year -. Why book in to attend?

* A top location: the QE2 Centre in the heart of Westminster

* A cracking line-up of big name presenters. Nigel Wray, Mark Slater, Evil Knievil and I am back from 2013. But we are joined this year by 40 other speakers including Terry Smith, the tech queens Vin Murria and Cassandra Harris; Mining gurus Amanda van Dyke, Dominic Frisby and Matt Suttcliffe and blogger supremo Paul Scott and now the Blinkx Destroyer Ben Edelman.

*Real variety – main stage sessions on value investing, Bitcoins, mining investing, crowd-funding, tech investing, oil & gas, shareholder activism and much more

*Better and more exhibiting companies. Last year 50 companies attended the UK Investor Show. This year we already have 90 booked in and counting – the latest booking came just today: Tangent Communications (TNG) - a very profitable AIM listed media company. And most of these PLCs will also do a 20 minute presentation in smaller side room for those who really want to know more.

You can get full details of the speaker line up HERE

You can get full details of the main stage presentations HERE

You can get full details of the exhibiting companies HERE

Already well over half the seats for this event have been booked with 4% of the tickets going yesterday alone!

Which AIM Cesspit stock is next after Sefton for the “treatment?” Developing fast…

I had thought of retiring from the AIM Cesspit exposing game for good. Or at least taking a few months off. Indeed that was my mindset until the end of last week. But things change…Daniel Levi (Brokerman Dan) and myself have chatted at length this morning. We have dusted down the Armalites and the snipers are back on duty.

Exclusive shocker - Sefton, the Dillabaugh transcript arrives

Jim Ellerton was toast the moment his sworn under oath deposition from Dillabaugh vs Ellerton fell into my paws. Late last night the 200 page transcript of that case arrived with myself and Dan Levi. We are still analysing it in full so won’t publish it yet but if Jimmyliar thinks it will could have saved him he is wrong.

As ever you really have to ask why Dan and I get documents that the AIM Team,  and the fuckwits at Pinsent Masons do not have. Both have asked us to hand them over but how about for once the scumbags do the job they are grotesquely over-paid to do themselves rather than scrounging off poor journalists in such an unseemly fashion.

In court, as under deposition, Ellerton claims that he does need to repay monies he borrowed from Dillabaugh (and Dillabaugh’s young daughter Lisa) because of the offsets – benefits Gary received because Jim got him a job at Sefton.

A few thoughts on financial PR people, moral compass and how they view me

I am not sure that those singled out for praise will appreciate it coming from me. Neither will those who receive rightful opprobrium in what follows – my mind this afternoon turns to the world of financial PR. The dark side.

Sefton – Dan Levi’s smoking bazooka – Sefton says added to the enquiry – where will Ellerton serve time?

The Pinsents Masons enquiry into Jim Ellerton just got a bit longer thanks to Dan Levi’s smoking bazooka revelation of yesterday which means that without ambiguity one can say that Jim Ellerton is a liar and a criminal. The only question is what sort of criminal? I discuss below where Jim will be prosecuted and for what and what this means for Sefton and me.

Jimmy Jimmy - the 2013 Version of the Undertones Classic (Sefton version)

In light of the dynamite revelations from Dan Levi this afteroon HERE I have made a few adjustments to the Undertones classic Jimmy Jimmy and republish below

If you need a reminder of the classic original which has to be part of my all-time 200 the video is below:

With apologies to the Undertones:

Little Sefton boy
He was very very old
It took thirteen long years
To find what he had stole

Jimmy Jimmy
Jimmy Jimmy - Oooh
Jimmy Jimmy
Poor little Jimmy wouldn't let go

He'd stay awake at night
Lying in his bed
No one ever listened
To a single word he said

Jimmy Jimmy ...

Silly boy
Silly boy
Silly boy
Such a silly boy

Jimmy Jimmy ...

Now little Jimmy's gone
He disappeared one day
But no one saw the prison van
That took little Jim away

The Real Hidden Greece

My comrade Brokerman Dan urges me to read an article in The Guardian about “The hidden Greece – the Cyclades” There are a number of reasons why I shall not do that. And the main one is that this is not the Real Hidden Greece

There is of course the obvious point that anything in the Guardian is by definition rubbish. I cannot think what a sensible fellow like Dan is doing polluting his mind in this way. But then there is the corruption of travel writing.  The economics of travel supplements are thus:
1. Journalists are often flown out by a Tourist board to be taking on a lovely jolly. It is not in their interests to write bad things or they will get few invites so they usually write sycophantic crap.
2. Supplements make money by selling adverts. Any region which has a stack of people able to afford to advertise in the Guardian is by definition not hidden but developed.
As it happens the Cyclades are well work tourist destinations.  So how about this as a “hidden Greece” trip:

I am pushed out of the closet (again) by Bulletin Board Moron of the week Jellyman 2

Over on the ADVFN Sefton thread it appears that one or two folks have a few bad things to say today about Jim Ellerton and Sefton Resources (SER) following Brokerman Dan’s shocking new revelations (which you can read here) and my own expose which you can read here.

But Sefton has its defenders. Jellyman 2 lashes out at one critic with this post:

To have contempt for je and sefton is fine, IF you are a holder and are loosing ££££'s. But to spout bollox and ridicule people for losing money shows what small minded, lowlife animal fuckers you really are!!!!!! and all because your gay lovers bmd and tw ARE too SCARED to post here.

Cripes. I think I am pretty open minded when it comes to sex. My partner is after all from the Grim North and is a Guardian reader. I mean how frigging tolerant does that make me?

But a gay threesome involving Dan Levi and some unnamed BB poster? Dan is a very nice fellow but there are limits to my metrosexual liberal open mindedness.

But what is it with BB Morons that they think that being gay is some sort of word of abuse? You will remember that some other BB Moron insisted that I spent my life in gay bath-houses (I have never been to one in my life, for the avoidance of doubt).

There is nothing wrong with being gay. It is not an insult. It is not something to be ashamed of. Now outing yourself as a Sefton shareholder on the other hand… yuk. But I suppose Sefton shareholders are adults who have consented to being financially buggered. If that’s what floats their boat…

Two Letters to Sefton Boss Jim Ellerton re his company’s disgraceful Smear Campaign

I revealed some weeks ago how AIM Cesspit listed oil company Sefton Resources (SER) had instigated a smear campaign against its two principal critics, myself and Daniel Levi (aka Brokerman Dan). It is suing us for libel but has also engaged in underhand smear tactics. This has backfired as the Daily Telegraph has now confirmed to my comrade Mr Levi who, how and when Sefton played this sordid game.

As such I can reveal that Dan Levi will be filing a Solicitors letter with Sefton within days seeking a public retraction and potentially leading to a claim for vast damages for defamation. He has already agreed with Sefton’s uber-expensive City lawyer Pinsent Masons how this will be served.

Ooooh that Dan plays hardball. He is such a gritty Northern hard man.

I am, of course, a really nice guy and like to handle things on an amicable basis.

And as such I have simply dropped Sefton boss Jim Ellerton a friendly note

AIM Cesspit: Sefton Smears, the Daily Telegraph apoligises and names source - Daniel to sue

I reported some weeks ago how Sefton Resources (SER) had tried to smear its critic Daniel Level (aka Brokerman Daniel) who is – like me being sued for libel by the joke AIM company – by planting an untrue story in the Daily Telegraph of January 29th.

The story suggested that Dan was being beastly to Sefton as he was short. The Daily Telegraph has today apologized to Dan and withdrawn the offending article on the grounds that it was untrue.

But it gets better.

Sefton fesses up: we did mislead investors ahead of placing

Sefton Resources (LSE:SER), the tin pot oil company that its suing me for libel because I pointed out how on a serial basis it has misled investors ( down 99.9% since IPO) over the years admitted after hours (5.44 PM) yesterday that it misled investors 24 hours ahead of a placing last month – as I flagged at the weekend. It now wants us to move on and yet again promises a brighter future.

I find it hard to see how this admission, dragged out of it by myself and Brokerman Dan will add to its credibility in the forthcoming trial and I cannot see how AIM can let this go unpunished. So what is the guilty confession from Sefton?

Sefton’s uber expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons needs an IT upgrade

Under the UK’s libel laws if one is served with a libel writ one must file your defence with the High Court but also with the Plaintiff or whichever lawyer is acting for them.  And so this morning Brokerman Dan sent his 1200 page skeletal (i.e. there is more to come) defence over to Helen Skinner, the lawyer at uber-expensive City firm Pinsent Masons which is acting for Sefton Resources.

Oh dear. Ms Skinner replies that Pinsent Masons systems cannot cope with an XPS or text file (they are “not compatible with our systems”) and so can Dan reformat as a PDF or send over a hard copy? I doubt that he will. He is not obliged to. My super cheap laptop can open an XPS or text file and so with Partners at Pinsent Masons on a charge out rate of £750 an hour I suggest that they splash out £420 on a cheapo laptop ( with all licenses) at PC World.

This begs a further question? Will Ms Skinner bill Sefton for her time in sending a letter to Dan ‘fessing that her firm’s IT systems are not as capable as my £420 laptop (with full licenses) from PC World. Pinsent Masons normally charges for a minimum of ½ hour slots and so if Dan can keep this conversation going for another couple of emails then Skinner can trot down to PC World buy the laptop and effectively stiff Sefton’s lucky shareholders with the bill. Problem solved.

Do you think I should invoice Pinsent Masons for my consultancy on this matter? Er that will be ½ hour at £750 an hour – call it two snotty emails to Dan on behalf of Sefton. I cannot say fairer than that.

Of course Pinsent Masons also earns large fees acting as company secretary to Sefton. I shall be turning to this matter and claims made on the Sefton website next week. Watch this space.

Sefton Resources – Dan files 1200 page rebuttal at High Court. Tick Tock.

My own defence against the spurious libel claims made against me by joke oil company Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) went in weeks ago. But today I have the good news that Brokerman Dan has filed his defence. It forms only part of his argument but already runs to 1200 pages of documents which poses an interesting question for Sefton, as Dan promises me that he has far more to come.

Uber-expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons will now have to read every single page of Daniel’s submission. And its charge out rates are, I believe £500-750 an hour. Having read it all in detail missing nothing out it then has to submit its own response

The great Leavenworth trail – more questions (no allegations) for Sefton Resources

AIM listed oil stock Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is suing me for libel - it wants to shut me up. As this process drags on I shall under disclosure rules be asking for an awful lot of documents and emails as, I imagine will Brokerman Dan who is also being sued by Sefton and its uber-expensive City lawyers Pinsent Masons. But to save Sefton some time later, there are some matters relating to its pipeline assets in Leavenworth County Kansas which its paid for cheerleaders at Hardman, Edison, etc. have flagged as having exciting upside about which I ask the questions now. It goes without saying that these assets are - despite what Hardman, Edison tell you - essentially worthless and here is why.

Am I really gruesome?

I see that myself and Brokerman Dan have now been labelled “The gruesome twosome” by Bulletin Board Morons on Sefton Resources threads. I wonder am I really gruesome? I am certainly not a twosome.

I am not a twosome in that Sefton has launched separate libel proceedings against myself and Dan. He is my friend but he has made certain claims which he is defending and I have made others which I am defending. Lucky Sefton shareholders get to pick up the tab for two totally different cases.

Am I gruesome? Well possibly in many respects I am. The word is derived from a Middle English word meaning “to make one shudder” and is defined as “Causing horror and repugnance; frightful and shocking.”

Physically I am not everyone’s cup of tea but on balance I reckon that is a bit harsh. And so I guess this is a reference to what I am writing on this company. Is what I say shocking? To those who have stick their head in the sand for a decade losing 99.97% of their investment while management has trousered millions I suppose some of my revelations about the history of Sefton’s assets, misleading RNS statements on production, executive pay and the location of Jim Ellerton’s luxury Hawaii mansion must be shocking. It must cause horror for Sefton believers to discover the truth and for its management to be exposed. Being a Sefton shareholder must be frightful per se.

Repugnance? I think that is a tad strong. But I suppose The Sefton Board won’t be sending me any chocolate eggs this Easter so maybe they feel repugnance. But if I was a Sefton shareholder (and I am not and never have been) my repugnance would not be with a journalist who has been writing about this company for eight months exposing its skeletons but for the management that has spent ten years creating those skeletons.

Today’s Questions for Sefton Resources – the world of Leavenworth (less) county

As you are aware AIM listed joke oil company Sefton Resources (LSE:SER) is suing myself and my pal Dan Levi (Brokerman Dan) for libel. We cannot wait for our days in court as this is getting more amusing by the day.

A day or so I asked Sefton the simple question – how many flights to and from Hawaii (where Jim Ellerton lives in a luxury mansion) have been paid for by Sefton? The answer could be nil and if so I would have hoped for a speedy reply. I have had no such reply. Perhaps shareholders might have more luck putting that question to the company directly- I suggest calling its PR man Alex Walters on his mobile 07771 713608 - good luck.

But I now have a few more questions and this time I move from Hawaii where Jim spends his millions to Kansas and Leavenworth County where in 2009/10 Sefton ponied up a total of $215,000 to buy some gas pipelines.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph again: Ooooooh Noooooh

Long term readers will know that my relationship with the Daily Torygraph City Diary has not always been of the friendliest variety. First there was gorgeous pouting hackette Anna White but when she left her shoes were filled by Fleet Street kitten Harriet Denys. Neither has been exactly kind to me and so when I learned that this column was to write a piece on my little spat with Sefton Resources ( the company that says its output is going up when it was in fact falling and now sues me for libel for suggest that this might be misleading) I naturally feared the worst.

Oddly Ms Denys did not actually call me for my side of the story. Last time she covered Sefton she claimed that Brokerman Dan was only being brutal because he was short of the stock, citing sources, i.e Sefton’s loathsome PR machine, for this utterly defamatory and unfounded allegation of market abuse. And so I thought I better call pouting Harriet to put my side of the story.

I pointed out that Sefton had said output was rising when it was falling as it prepared to raise money by issuing shares. I asked her if she thought this was misleading? She admitted that she did. Clearly I must call her as an expert witness in the forthcoming libel trial.

Do I expect a fair report in the paper tomorrow? Er…no. I am sure that Sefton’s PR machine is far more charming than I am. And for the Telegraph City Diary to be even balanced towards me would break the habit of a lifetime.
