It is now two years since His Highness, Sheikh Ahmed Dalmook Al Maktoum, clambered aboard the jam-tomorrow joke that is Oracle Power (ORCP). News of the Sheikh’s involvement saw its shares surge to 1.25p. Last December, he exercised 200 million warrants, meaning he now owns 500 million shares, for which he paid 0.25p each. But Oracle’s share price has flagged a bit of late, as investors have grown mightily tired of its jam-tomorrow coal and gold projects.

One of the many aspects of the regime of Carrie Antoinette and her poltroon of a husband Boris, that so many of us who are natural conservatives find so hard to stomach are their crazed green policies which will cripple our economy and hurt the poorest hardest. The folly of the regime of Princess Nut Nuts was laid bare again this week as one of the UK’s last remaining coal power plants had to be fired up on Monday morning, as low winds meant the National Grid needed an additional source of energy. This time next year this will not be possible.

The soon to be ex wife of Michel Gove, Sarah Vine, is – for reasons I have never been able to fathom – paid vast sums to serve up a weekly diet of complete bilge in the Mail on Sunday. If Mr Gove is looking for an excuse for his historic drug use, I’d suggest that having his Mrs read her column to him each week is one that would gain the sympathy of many. Today, Vine deals with Thatcher, coal and global warming prompted by Boris Johnson telling an unfunny and factually inaccurate joke last week.

I start with ITM Power (ITM) where I just don’t understand pipeline valuation and definitions and the valuation is absurd. But then green is where the zeitgeist is. Not coal which brings me onto the lies and reality at Plutus Powergen (PPG). I look at the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME) and Alien Metals (UFO) and the more general issue of related party deals after today’s expose on this website.

I have not decided, or rather the Mrs has not decided, whether to install a wood burning stove or two in a couple of the 17th century fireplaces at the Welsh Hovel. We may just go with an open hearth. And we will not be troubled by new batshit crazy plans from the Tories to ban the sale of domestic coal and most logs. We have enough of our own wood in our fields and in the old barns and sheds to last not just ourselves but also our neighbours, for a lifetime. However, we are unusual and lucky.

This panel was chaired by our own Gary Newman and featured uranium cheerleader Paul Atherley of Berkeley Energia (BKY), coal bug Andrew Bell of Regency Mines (RGM) and waste to power enthusiast Keith Allaun of Powerhouse Energy (PHE).

The BBC was forced to grovel when Lord Lawson's disstening views on the global warming scam went unchallenged on air. For many, such as Pravda's own green guru, Roger Harrabin this is a "settled science" and thus those who dare to point out things like the fact that the world is getting colder, antarctic ice is at record levels and that the computer models have all been wrong, deserve to be no platformed. On the other hand Harrabin himself is allowed to tell blatant lies which expose his innate bias and go unchallenged.

My twitter feed is set to a New York location. In many ways it is where my heart is though my body is rarely there. And overnight #TrumpResign was trending. How pathetic it was.
