From King Charles downwards everyone always lines up at Christmas to praise the valiant NHS workers (greedy bastards), and other public sector workers who keep the country running at this time of year. Well up to a point.

Okay, the Tory party does not believe in liberty and freedom anymore. But at least it knows that Government and money trees are not the creators of real jobs which generate wealth and tax revenues, right? Er..wrong. To her credit, Andrea Jenkyns shares just a few shreds of ideological DNA with real Tories like Margaret Thatcher. However, in the era of Boris that is not something to shout about if you wish to clamber up the greasy pole.

If you want to leave the EU it is just because you are not as clever as those folks who want to stay in. It is easy. There was I thinking that I could be descriobed as at least averagely smart with my Oxford Degree as could Pixie Lott with her straight A's at GCSE. But it appars not. We are thick because we back Brexit and the BBC sees no reason to challenge this extraordinary assertion.

Sirs. Yesterday the two main political parties were at a conference organised by the Federation of Small Businesses and pitched their plans to rejuvenate the SME sector. Given that the House of Commons contains almost no entrepreneurs but is stacked with career politicians it is no surprise that both of you, David Cameron and Labour business spokesman Chuka Umunna, spouted total bollocks. I write as someone who runs an SME.
