Yesterday I discussed how BBC Radio 4’s flagship show, Woman’s Hour, consistently ignores facts on the gender pay gap to push its narrative of victimhood. But this is not an isolated occurrence. Just before the start of the Women’s Rugby World Cup, an England player was on for interview.

The NHS may face record waiting lists, deaths from cancers and other ailments are soaring thanks to all those missed tests, during the scamdemic plague with a 99.97% survival rate, but there is good news. After giving GPs, average salary £100,700, and other NHS staff an inflation busting 3% pay rise, those running the envy of the world had claimed that there was a £600 million funding gap this winter. But as you can see below, vital jobs at the coalface are still being filled.

When you heard that Boris Johnson has been told by Princess Nut Nuts to give all NHS staff an inflation-busting pay rise, I bet you thought of poor nurses earning close to the average national wage of £26,000 and went outside at 8 PM to clap like a seal. But, of course, most of the staff the NHS employs are neither poor or nurses. Here are three vacancies going which, I am sure you will agree, will assist the fight against covid not a jot.

Okay she was not born Laurel. Once upon a time she was called Gavin and was a junior record holder in the New Zealand male 105 kg class. Then Gavin decided he was a woman, had the snip and took hormone treatment and went back to weightlifting. Now, as Laurel, she will compete in the 90kg plus contest at the next Commonwealth Games in Australia.

42 grossly overpaid readers of autocues at the state funded generator of fake news that is the BBC have written to their boss today demanding that they be even more grossly overpaid. The least grossly overpaid of these women earns £150,000 a year or, put another way, just over 1000 license fee payments. They have made demands for substantial pay rises because they are doing their bit in the invaluable fight for women's equality, they are fighting as feminists. This is a truly selfless act on their part. Yup.

With no real majority at Westminster, Mrs May's pathetic Tories are unable to push through any of the so many radical changes this country needs to make to avoid going bust. The chances of radical change on any issue that matters are zippo. Or so I believed. You thought that the useless Cons were out of big ideas? Think again. Today's Sunday Times reveals dramatic new proposals to tackle the needs of the transgender community. I just despair.

I am awed by the resilience of the athletes competing in the Paralympics. In many ways I admire them so much more than the drug cheats and money obsessives who starred in the main Olympics. These men and women embody in so many ways what participative sport should be about. And so please do not doubt that I respect and admire them hugely. But, I have a few questions and nagging thoughts which I wondered if I dared air in public since they will attract inevitable abuse and condemnation but I do so anyway. They are questions no one seems prepared to ask but I wonder if others might actually feel the same way.
The case of Oscar Pistorius, the South African sprinter who also competed in the main Olympics raises two questions.
