We are used to seeing professors and lecturers at low grade universtities and former polytechnics espousing utter nonsense as they indoctrinate young folk at what have become intolerant left wing madrassas. But you would have hoped that Bristol University would be above that. Think again, Meeet Professor Lewandowsky.

As my parents' generation encountered the punk rockers their hearts must have sunk. My father can remember hearing that his uncle had been killed in the war and the heroism of that generation. As children, he and my mother suffered real austerity, that is to say rationing. My father's brother suffered National Service. Looking at a youth who enjoyed only the good life without any sense of responsibility and were still angry for some reason, my parents generation must have despaired. With hindsight the 1970s was a golden era.

Life on Britain's campuses is meant to be all about protecting freedoms and as the proud home to one of the UK's finest journalism courses you would have thought that City University in London would stand full square behind a free press.

#DailyMail is trending on twitter as those on the left, take time of from their crap degrees and pointless public sector jobs to rant about its coverage of the Brexit debacle of yesterday. The Mail, a loathsome rag, justifiably points out that the referendum promised that if we voted out we would leave. Now it seems as if that might not happen because of what three old men say. The Mail is right, the nation, or at least those who believed what we read on the ballot paper and in democracy, is outraged.

It has arrived. My Hillary (Clinton) for Prison 2016 T-shirt is here. I think it looks great. But the Mrs is not sure that she wants to be seen with me if I am wearing it. The intolerance of the liberal left is frightening. As you can see below it is magnificent.

I return to the dual themes of free speech and the intolerance of the left when it comes to dissent in this week’s video postcard.
I have had to record early when too tired after Thursday’s Quindelliferous day in order that Darren can get away to celebrate his wedding anniversary. But the message should still be clear.
If you support free speech feel free to come along to the AIM Cesspit awards dinner at Real Man in Clerkenwell on 30th June with myself, Evil and Lucian. Tickets can be bought for £40 HERE
My weekly financial video postcard looks at the way that Quindell deals with the press and analysts. It is almost unparalleled in my 25 year career and it can be viewed HERE
