Ouzo man is short so talking his own book. His point is on how Moonpig (MOON) seeks to draw attention away from what appears to be an alarming increase in net debt. He tweets:

Chesterfield Resources (CHF) is in a pickle and is running on vapours. A hugely discounted placing is surely imminent and a recent disposal announcement is all smoke and mirrors and does not nudge the cash crisis dial more than a fraction.

Naturally Dragon’s Den Has-Been Sarah Willingham gushes about how brilliant these numbers from Nightcap (NGHT) are. Only a self-promoting twit like La Willingham could describe declining like for likes and surging net debt as “a fantastic half year.” Who is she trying to fool: herself (easy) or dumb investors in this hopeless company ( by definition even easier)?

The management may have changed at BlueJay Mining (JAY) but the desire to mislead investors is very much the same, the culture of smoke and mirrors is intact. Today it announced “Institutional Equity Subscription.” Bollocks. Total bollocks. This is a death spiral.

It is hard to know where to start with today’s August trading update from running on vapours bitcoin miner Argo Blockchain (ARB). Suffice to stay it is all fodder for the bears.

The incestous joke that is Aquis listed NFT Investments (NFT) took another turn today with a related party deal with Pluto Digital, featuring a cast of scampsters including John Story, Andy Frangos, founder of disgraced broker Pello, serial promoter Jonathan Bixby and his brother in law, Peter Wall of Argo Blockchain (ARB). Did you not know that Bixby and Wall were related by marriage? Small world innit?

The monthly trading update from Argo Blockchain (ARB) is the usual mix of smoke and mirrors. If you are someone who has waded through the sea of red flags highlighted HERE and still believes there is comfort for you. But if you are a cynic you too will find comfort. Plenty of it.

The antics of the Mike Edwards/Jonathan Bixby gang at Aquis listed Dispersion Technologies (DEFI) have been well documented on this website. All sorts of scoundrels backed this in a heavily discounted pre-IPO round, the sort of scoundrels whose accounts at broker Pello ignore lockins and the smoke and mirrors continues today with news of an acquisition. The stench here is getting unbearable.

This really is Alice in Wonderland stuff. Sitting on the big mushroom is Dominic White, the ex-chairman of the Supply@ME Capital (SYME) fraud but also boss of Aquis listed Eight Capital Partners (ECP) whose last stated net assets were just £40,000. Now Supply promoter Zak Mir hands over the hookah to the dormouse. Please try to keep up.

Dominic White stepped down as chairman of the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME) on July 22 but is still involved in the company and the way CEO Alessandro Zamboni is dumping all the shares he controls. Today, White’s Aquis listed company Eight Capital Partners (ECP) has put out a release which is all about Supply shares but, for some reason, fails to name the company once. Suspicious? You bet.

The fraud Zoetic (ZOE) said it would serve up its final results in July. Instead on July 1 we had a trading update and today we have another trading update. If results really are out before the weekend why rush out a second trading update this morning? This is smoke and mirrors time as the trading news is absolutely dire and the absence of those results should alarm even the most moronic of morons.

That wasted an hour of my life but it looks like all systems go for Saturday when Steve Moore will be in charge of this website while Joshua and I head to the Greek Hovel. In today’s podcast I look at bitcoin’s latest dump and Argo Blockchain (ARB) and at Dev Clever (DEV) and its joke acquisition. That required a bit of work for me at Companies House as did researching today’s smoke and mirrors deal from Remote Monitored Systems (RMS) – how did Nomad SP Angel sign off on this cobblers? I then look at Avacta (AVCT), Zoetic (ZOE), MyHealthChecked (MHC), Bidstack (BIDS) and the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME). Where are its results?

It’s a personally difficult day as I explain. But at least we have great news on the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks front as you can see HERE. Then I discuss shares, ref Tern (TERN), Quindell (QPP) and the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME).

There are a lot of disgraceful things happening today and so this is a long bearcast and Matthew and his Dog will enjoy it. In it I cover: the fraud Supply@ME capital (SYME), the Zoetic (ZOE) fraud, the utter shocker at Live Company (LVCG), where Fatty covers himself in shame, Sarah Willingham’s Nightcap (NGHT), a gotcha! for me but more smoke and mirrors and valuation anomalies from Ms W and finally Braveheart Investment Management (BRH). In the excitement I forgot to mention uber dog Bidstack (BIDS) which is now down to its last seven weeks cash and where a bailout placing must be imminent. If you enjoyed today’s show, how about backing the Rogue Bloggers HERE?

Yesterday I discussed the related party nest of snakes financing deals done by Dev Clever and its bonkers valuation HERE. Today, in response, a trading statement but it is all smoke and mirrors and there are gaping omissions. It is a shocker.

Naturally the latest accounts from Viva Capital LLP are way overdue. The report for the 12 months to 31 March 2016 was due by December 31 2016 but rules are for little people not for Julie “lingerie on expenses” Meyer. The accounts are now almost eighteen months late but historic filings show Julie up to her usual tricks.

On the agenda today as I prepare for my weekly coffee morning with my baby son Joshua and the fit young mums is: Andalas (ADL) a joke broker note, MySquar (MYSQ) another RNS which is all smoke and mirrors and a desperate attempt to prop up the shares but SP Angel refuses to force the company to come clean on the lies in the last RNS and the fraud. Pathetic. I look at Interserve (IRV) and its latest dire news. We did warn you. I "out" the company that was truing to raise $15 million via Cornhill yesterday. I look at former ZAI clients whose days on AIM are numbered and finally I read across from yesterday's Horse Hill trade involving Regency (RGM) and Alba (ALBA) to show just how monstrously overvalued is, out of cash and desperate to place, UK Oil & Gas (UKOG)

Having promised "non dilutive funding" ad nauseam, on Wednesday AIM listed POS Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) announced a £13 million death spiral funding with are shylocks Bracknor. On Friday it drew down tranche one and promptly served up another dose of smoke and mirrors for punters. The death spiral dance is now underway. Advanced announced that:

There are folks out there determined to suggest that something is not qu9ite right with Fox Marble (FOX). In one sense they are correct, Fox has missed a stack of targets. We know that and it is well and truly "in the price". The conspiracists quite simply maintain that Fox is built on smoke & mirrors. They are - I believe - wrong but their war on Fox has left the shares very cheap indeed.

No doubt Paul Scott is wetting himself as TrakM8 (TRAK) boasts of how pre-tax profits of £3 million leads to cash of £4.45 million being generated in calendar 2015. There is so much cash generated that his Dorset bunnies are paying a 2p per share dividend, even though the company has now moved into net debt. The squeals of Scotty delight in Brighton are almost audible here in Bristol. Except that it is all smoke and mirrors. TrakM8's business remains a piss poor non generator of cash.

Apologies for overlooking the truly dreadful smoke and mirrors 2014 results from Gulf Keystone (GKP) last week. In this podcast I look back and flag up a few points the bulls might have overlooked while out on day release from the asylum.
