At 6.13 PM yesterday Tintra (TNT) issued its interim report for the six months ended 31 July 2023. Needless to say, it contains a raft of schoolboy accounting blunders.

On 7 September Tintra (TNT) announced that it was under a potential offer from LRB35 Limited. LRB’s proposal was of a possible offer at a price of 150 pence per Tintra ordinary share in cash, with a share exchange alternative

On the surface of it a 0.55p share bid for Yourgene (YGEN) by Novacyt (NCYT) looks like a mercy killing, a good result in bad circumstances and a deal that should be done and dusted. But is it?

A shareholder in Kape Technologies (KAPE), currently the subject of a takeover, reckons that current rules can see small shareholders screwed in such situations and should be changed. He has written to me. I agree and so here is what he says. I shall be passing this article to TPTB asking that it be considered.

I start pondering retirement, then look at Credit Suisse and Gary vs Chris on buying shares right now. Then it is onto Versarien (VRS), Verditek (VDTK), lying by Reabold (RBD) on its takeover bid, Cineworld (CINE), Ben’s Creek (BEN) and that scumbag Adam Wilson and the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME)

Since fighting off a sack the board GM in November, Reabold Resources (RBD) has seen its share price slump from 0.28p to just 0.19p. But there is good news.

Overall, I suppose, things are going the right way for now delisted Big Sofa (BST) but just a bit more slowly than we might have hpoed. Will we loyal shareholders get a takeover within 18 months? I still hope so. But I am not going to count any chickens just yet. Anyhow as I can’t sell my shares I have no choice but to wait. Here is the April update from CEO Kirsty Fuller.

Shares in NMC Health (NMC) made something of a recovery yesterday, back above 900p, on the back of seemingly competitive takeover interest. However, how true was the announcement from the company?

The talks are advanced but it looks odds on as if Sirius Minerals (SXX) will get bought out at 5.5p per share by Anglo American (AAL). I guess that explains the very strong share price over the past few days, not that there is ever any insider dealing in London.

How I remember being singled out by name by Neil Woodford at the Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT) AGM as a purveyor of fake news on May 16 this year. Neil was adamant: he was doing brilliantly I was making thisngs up. Today he was fired by his flagship fund and his City career is in its final weeks and will end in disgrace. Investors who ignored four years of warnings on this site will have lost billions. I reflect on all of this, where it leaves various parties including Neil’s other vehicles, disgraced Hargreaves Landsdowne (HL.) and other disgraced promoters. I also comment on another vindication, the mercy takeover of Brady (BRY) at just 10p after I forced it to fess up to its finacial woes, with the shares at 26p just three weeks ago.

With every other Nomad/broker in town having issued a profits warning in the past few months it is only a matter of time before FinnCrap (FCAP) has to 'fess up to. But quite amazingly the shares still trade at their IPO price of 28p valuing FinnCrap at £47 million which today’s ShoreCap (SGR) purchase of rival Stockdale shows to be a joke.

Oh dear, Oh dear. Is that the smell of burned Bulletin Board Moron fingers I detect? Flybe (FLYB) shares were 16p last night. This morning it has announced an agreed takeover from Virgin and Stobart (STOB) at just 1p per share. And that is generous. Lucian Miers and I did warn you.

David Lenigas on Friday made the following exciting announcement regarding the disastrous ISDX IPO that is Lenigas Cuba (CUBA). He boasts of an RTO but it is all utter bollocks. Jabba announced:

Earlier we ran an article suggesting that MD Barnard may be considering a marcey low ball takeover of Daniel Stewart. Nope... we apologise for giving shareholders in the disgraced broker a brief glimmer of hope and correct accordingly.

The other day shares in London Capital Group (LSE:LCG) rocketed skywards and the company then issued a statement admitting that it had received a batch of takeover bids. I seem to have offended a few folks by putting 2 + 2 together and – like 99% of the population – arriving at an answer of 4. Well shout it out. The answer really is 4 and if you want to live in denial and pretend that nothing frigging untoward went on go for it. Live in pretence. But you are kidding no-one.
