D-day: Should Eisenhower have been tried for war crimes?

Of course the answer is “no.” Okay, troops following his orders killed up to 20,000 French civilians but nobody, that I am aware of, is suggesting that old Ike was guilty of a war crime.  But here is the rub: Allied Forces did not text French civilians suggesting they leave areas near the Normandy beaches, they did not drop millions of leaflets warning them to scarper, the bombardment that proceeded the landings was not pin point accurate and targetted it was, as they say about Gaza “indiscriminate.”

Tom Winnifrith postcard: As Kosovans stand trial, a few lessons about Ukraine, the Western Media and political GroupThink and war crimes

I am NOT a Putin apologist, or a Serb apologist or a denier of Russian war crimes. But in light of what is finally happening with regards to KLA actions in Kosovo 20 years ago and how the media covered that horrible war, might you not think twice about how what is happening in Ukraine is presented?

The bogus air raid sirens over Kiev for the Biden visit – can’t folks see they are being played?

The Americans warned Russia that President Joe Biden was going to Kiev precisely so that there would be no missile attacks during his visit leading to further ramping up of tensions. And, indeed, there were zero attacks on the Ukrainian Capital yesterday.  None by plane, none by missile, none at all. However…

Shamefully the West and its media cheers on every Russian death and we are horrified when Russians do not!

I can never understand when folks cheer on the untimely death of their fellow man. But day after day we are treated by the Western media to videos of Russian tanks being blown up and articles delighting in how many Russian dead now lie on the fields of Ukraine. I am in no doubt that some of those soldiers dying horrible deaths were bad men who did very bad things. But many, probably the vast majority, were just young men fighting what they were told (wrongly) was a just war and fighting by Geneva rules. Why should we celebrate their deaths?

The Mrs and so many others rush to defend war crimes in Ukraine, and the "Russia targets civilians" myth

Anyone dissenting from the GroupThink frenzy – one whipped up by our leaders and the mainstream media – is dismissed as a Putin asset, a Russian poodle and an apologist for fascism. Thus, one must believe that Ukraine is the epitome of angelicity, and that Putin is indeed committing war crimes against civilians, the likes of which we have not seen since World War Two.

The rank hypocrisy of IKEA (founded by a Nazi) – beheading Mustafa bin Hashim bin Isa al-Darwish is okay, free speech is not

IKEA has become the latest firm to respond to woke snowflake tantrums and to pull its adverts from the little watched news channel GB News. It says that Andrew Neil’s channel does not share its “humanistic” values without being able to cite one instance from its 60 hours on air of why this is the case.  As well as being a betrayal of free speech this is rank hypocrisy from a company operating four stores in Saudi Arabia.

SHOCK VIDEO - US reporter in Douma - No Evidence of Chemical Attack

This report tallies with that of Robert Fisk who is also in Douma.  It looks more and more as if the claims of wretched Theresa May, the fag Macron and Donald Trump to have had proof that President Assad gassed Douma were lies and that makes the bombing of Syria, that they ordered, a war crime. When will the mainstream media stop behaving like war crazy jingoistic poltroons, spouting the Governmental fake news and start reporting what actually happened? Enjoy the video.

The BBC resorts to fake news as it smears the AfD in Germany's election

Let me be clear the right AfD party in Germany are vile folks. I would not have been among the 13% of Krauts who voted for them had I had the vote. Calling them Nazis, as a few hundred left wing protesters, covered extensively by the BBC, did diminishes the horror of what the Nazis actually did but they are the closest thing Germany has seen to a Nazi since 1945. That does not excuse vile smears the BBC carried against the AFD. It was pure fake news.

Donald Trump sucks Corrupt Saudi cock - truisms you cannot utter in the islamofascist jihad backing hell-hole

If i was living in Saudi Arabia I'd be arrested for writing that. If i was lucky I'd be lashed. Folks have actually been beheaded for making less offensive, but true, statements. The kleptocractic regime of Saudi Arabia has a human rights record which is worse than that of Assad's Syria pre-war, it commits war crimes on an Industrial scale in Yemen and it exports Islamofascist extremism and terror across the globe. Yet President Trump is blowing them off as if the Saudi Royal family were the nicest guys on earth. Why?

The Daily Mail lies as part of the West's war on Truth in Syria

I was delighted to see the loathsome Daily Mail cough up for its disgraceful slurs on the charming Mrs Trump. I suspect many on the left will have had their loyalties divided in that battle, irrespective of the fact that it was the Mail that libelled Melania, but what about the Mail's mega lie today, on Syria. It boasts the headline "At least 100 people dead as a suicide car bomb hits convoy of busses evacuating residents from the clutches of ISIS to safe havens in Syria". This is quite simply a lie. It is fake news. It is a lie born of the insane and confused policy of the West in this godforsaken country.

Tom Winnfrith Postcard - IRA murderers such as Adams and McGuinness must ensure Para C is not prosecuted

A 65 year old retired British soldier Para C faces the possibility that he will be prosecuted for the killing of an IRA leader Joe McCann who was guilty of what were almost certainly war crimes. Meanwhile folks who we know have blood on their hands - notably Gerry Adams and Martin McGuinness, today politicians, but back in the 70s IRA bigwigs, know they can never be prosecuted under a deal agreed with their fellow war criminal Tony Blair. I discuss what happened back in 1972 and the nature of reconciliation and what Adams and McGuinness should do now if they really believe in peace.

Blood on the hands of Hollande, Cameron & May - when will they accept they back the wrong side in Syria

The papers this week carried graphic images of a 12 year old boy being beheaded in Syria. Ghastly, I hear you cry. ISIS must be stopped. Thank God we are doing our bit by backing rebel fighters in the Free Syrian Army. Problemo: it was those rebel fighters that did the beheading.

This is no surprise to readers of this website. Back in 2012

If Tony Blair did irony he'd propose a new Middle East war 5 weeks ahead of Chilcot - Oh what?

On July 6 the long awaited Chilcot report into the Iraq war will be published. Many of us are convinced that the war was illegal and that "trust me I'm Tony," as well as the loathsome shit Jack Straw, repeatedly lied to MP s as well as to us all. Mr Blair's claim about Weapons of Mass Destruction was clearly just a blatant lie. And thus it has been leaked that Blair as well as Straw will get a thorough roasting from Lord Chilcot.

Weekly Postcard #126 - Britain has blood on its hands for the way we support Saudi Arabia

We, or at least our leaders have blood on our hands. We support the House of Saud which in turn commits wholesale human rights abuses, war crimes, supports terrorists, exports extremism and treats migrant workers in an overtly racist way, as slaves with no rights. Yet David Cameron is taking British support to new levels. There is a better way.

Tony Blair wants us to intervene in Iraq again – WE MUST put the War Criminal on Trial to solve our problems

We should never have invaded Iraq. As a nation we cannot afford foreign escapades. There was no moral urgency to invade and the consequences have been predictably calamitous – we have suffer almighty blowback, a concept I discuss in my weekend video HERE.

Tony Blair prompted that invasion. He is endeavouring to suppress papers which will, show that it was almost certainly illegal to invade.

Now the war criminal (someone who starts an illegal war is a war criminal) wants us to invade to stop the ISIS Islamofascists from running riot. I am in no doubt that ISIS are truly awful people. Some of their actions are also war crimes.

But Blair must accept that he has created ISIS. Saddam Hussein
