I guess rules are for other people, especially when you are drowning in debt and desperately need a gargantuan bailout fundraise. This is a very clear and material breach of the rules. On March 1, via RNS, Harland & Wolff (HARL) stated:

Acquisitions to drive growth. Placings to fund losses. And yet more losses. The clues are there and, as young Steve Moore has warned you frequently, Crossword (CCS) is a share you really don’t need to own. 14 months ago there was a fund raise at 21.7p. Today after the latest warning the shares are just 8.5p. Ouch.

Naked Wines (WINE) today boasts that its EBIT ( fairly made up earnings) for the year to almost the end of March 2023 will be higher than expected. But there is a warning about 2024 and absolutely no guidance about the real elephant in the room, the ghastly balance sheet. That 2024 warning and the lack of transparency about what really matters are what stink.

On November 17, I told you to short McColls (MCLS) at 14.5p, warning that, just months after a big placing, it was going to run out of money. Of course, everyone else knew better than old Tom. Today, the shares are 3.94p, and now, it is the company warning you the shares are heading for zero.

The fraud Zoetic International (ZOE) has announced the launch of its Chill brand in the UK. So what? The brand is almost unknown and without any real cash to create brand awareness sales will impress nobody. Of more interest is news from the US which really should set alarm bells ringing for morons owning this stock.

It started in October 2018. Boatman Capital published its first bear dossier on Babcock International (BAB) with the shares at 672p. After yet another dire warning today, the stock trades at just 215p and still looks overvalued.

Global Resources Investment Trust (GRIT) has today fessed up to some of the shocking revelations on this website about its former boss David “Sam” Hutchins. A small ouzo for the Sheriff for hos breakfast is perhaps in order. But this is not enough. GRIT and its adviser, Peterhouse Corporate Finance, need to go to the FCA and ensure there is a public“career execution” for smug Sam as part of a zero tolerance approach to those who break the rules. I also discuss Malcom’s bonkers views on the housebuilders and what the Shoe Zone (SHOE) warning and writedwns says about commercial property NAVs, ref Intu (INTU) and Hammerson (HMSO) in particular.

Well folks you cannot say that I did not warn you. In fact it was just last weekend when I posted my most recent explicit podcast warning HERE. But it was one of many. In this podcast I look at what is causing the sell-off, what happens next and what stocks will be battered the most, both as a class and naming specific names.

The sizzling rumours - MX Oil (MXO) and Moneyswap (SWAP). I start and finish with a favour to all of my younger or more IT minded listeners. If you can please action that today it would be fab, Then I move on to look at Gulfsands Petroleum (GPX), Nighthawk (HAWK), Stanley Gibbons SGI), Starcom (STAR) and, in some detail, Cambian (CMBN) - where I do hope you heeded my warning 141 days ago HERE.

An email was sent out by a leading financial websites group to its readers on Friday with the headline : “The one stock to own before the New Year.” I do not know where to begin with this shocking tale but if you bought that stock (and it is clear some folks did) you need to sell first thing Monday. This is just horrible. The stock in question is Harmonic Energy Inc (ASUV) which is traded on the US Bulletin Boards ( think Plus markets but less regulated and less liquid if you are a seller). The whole episode is just appalling.
