Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Minoan, be careful what you wish for

In today's bearcast I look at Minoan (MIN) as Richard Jennings of Align threatens to call an EGM, at RockRose Energy (RRE) and Independent Oil & Gas (IOG), RedT Energy (RED), SpaceandPeople (SAL), Majestic Wine (WINE) and at Motif Bio (MTFB).  If you enjoyed this, almost 100% profanity free, bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: after 30 years of kissing Neil Woodford's arse Jeff Presstrip becomes the penultimate rat to abandon ship

Yesterday's bearcast explained the massive red flag of Neil Woodford having to sell his crown jewelsd, shares in Imperial Brands. Today, his most devoted follower on the sewer that is Fleet Street, Jeff Prestridge of the Mail on Sunday has, after 30 years of loyally kissing Woodford's arse at least once a fortnight, abandoned ship. The ship once swarmed with parasitic and, often unthinking, rats. Now there is just one left, Hargreaves Lansdown. I explian what this all means. If you enjoyed this, almost 100% profanity free, bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Wrestling with my conscience on Yourgene, Down Syndrome and abortion

We own stacks of shares in Yourgene (YGEN). I am in no doubt that they are very cheap and will head sharply higher and soon. But I am wrestling with my conscience here and in light of it being World Down Syndrome Day yesterday I explain why.  If you enjoyed this, almost, profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

I also cover Blue Jay Mining (JAY), Yourgene (YGEN), Tomco (TOM), Cloudbuy (CBUY) and F40 member POS Walcom (WALG). If you enjoyed this, I think, profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: if you wait by the river for long enough...

In today's podcast I explain why Julie Meyer has spurred me to battle on, though I do consider calling it a day now and again. I look at Quindell (QPP), London & Capital Finance, Neil Woodford, and flag up that the FCA has opened or stepped up an enquiry into another company I covered in some detail. You can speculate which, more details when Winnileaks comes good.  I look at Red Emperor (RMP), IQE (IQE), Verseon (VERS) and Blue Jay Mining (JAY). If you enjoyed this, I think, profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: maybe it really is time to call it a day

In today's extra long podcast I reflect that one day folks like Julie Meyer will win and I shall call it a day. I have lasted two years longer than John Hempton predicted. I also look back on a curious fraud from my early days back in, I think, 1995.  I look at Tomco (TOM), Range Resources (RRL), RedT (RED), Columbus Energy (CERP) and VSA valuations, Goldstone Resources (GRL), Verseon (VERS) and Domino's Pizza (DOM). If you enjoyed this, I think, profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Atlantic Capital & IQE you guys really are shysters & jokers

I start with a soddy attempt by spivs at Atlantic capital to secure new customers to fleece with thir crap CFD advice - c/o ADVFN a report on IQE (IQE). I explian why it is shite. Then I turn to allegations that Debenhams (DEB) and Domino's Pizza (DOM) issued RNS statements that were somewhere between misleading and untrue. I have sympathy with one of the accused but none for the other. If you enjoyed this, I think, profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

I look at all three and also at Bahamas Petroleum (BPC).I f you enjoyed this, I think, relatively profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Totally & Condor balance sheets under extreme scrutiny

I start with a look at PCGE (PCGE) and what CCJs actually mean before having a look at results from Capital & Regional (CAL) and what they say about the state of retail property. Look at the gaping chasm between the share price and NAV! Then a detailed look at the balance sheets of Condor Gold (CNR) and Totally (TLY), the latter using my new interest, non debt debt. If you enjoyed this, I think, profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

I start with a few thoughts on Brexit and equity valuations. Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks visit Manchester slums - caption contest (deadline midnight)

Tomograph readers will know that I ventured to the grim north over the weekend to the slums of Manchester and there I met up with Brokerman Dan. Surely my bravery in heading to the post industrial welfare safari deserves some reward. My next meeting with Dan will be on July 28 as we walk 32 miles for Woodlarks. Sponsorship, to date, now tops £13,000 (£15,500 with gift aid). Thanks to those who have donated already, to those who have not I am sure you can spare a tenner HERE. Meanwhile Dan is the shorter one on the left, dressed like he's just left the Pride march. How about a caption contest? Do you worst in the comments section below - deadline Tuesday midnight.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - NO BEARCAST TODAY I am in the grim North

As referenced yesterday, the Mrs has whisked me away for a romantic weekend to celebrate my birthday next Friday. For the first time since the birth of Joshua 16 months ago the vermin , as he is known, is elsewhere - with his doting grandparents. I have enjoyed an oatcake which is s sort of pancake up here in the post industrial wastelands and as well as the foreign food am trying to understand what the folks are saying up here in a rural part of the welfare safari. Anyhow a bracing walk this afternoon leaves room in the tummy for a glass or two of red. I'm back on duty tomorrow.

The Graph that shouts: Wales & Northern Ireland your time is up - bugger off & take Scotland with you

The spendfest demanded by the people of Wales, Ulster, Scotland and the North of England is paid for by the hard working folks of London and the South East. That might sound like a provocative and unpleasant jibe at the expense of idle celts and workshy Northerners as they roam the welfare safaris. But it just happens to be a statement of fact as you can see below.

There must be intense competition but are these the two stupidest people in Birmingham?

I am not saying that all Brummies are thicker than Benny from Crossroads but it strikes me that he would probably have been among the brighter sparks in his local pub quiz team. I read today about Richella Heeking and Ben Marlow from Sutton Coldfield, who saved up £1200 to go on a lavish break in Las Vegas and turned up to Birmingham airport to find there was no plane.

Er.. slowly it dawned on these two imbeciles that they had booked a flight from Birmingham Alabama as opposed to Birmingham, the post industrial shit-hole on the southern fringes of the great Northern welfare safari.

These idiots insist that it is a common mistake. Yeah right,

Want to slash the deficit Mr Osborne? Simple: Axe Scotland

The poisonous midget who leads the SNP, Nicola Sturgeon told her party faithful the other day that she was going to organise another referendum on independence come what may. It is no surprise that the midget is so keen on the EU given how she buys into its idea of democracy: the people can vote however they wish in referenda and they will keep voting until they vote the "right" way.

Of course independence would be economic suicide for Scotland. At $100 oil it was spending more than it would have received in tax. 89% of Scots are net takers from the State and the nation is almost united in its belief in money tree economics.

Despite all this spending Scotland gets poorer as the public sector squeezes out the wealth creating sector, and sicker - life expectancy in Glaswegian men is now - at 57 - lower than anywhere else in the EU, indeed in the Eurovision zone which includes Ukraine with its civil war and its Chernobyl legacy.

As an independent nation, Scotland would be the Greece of the North at $100 oil. At $40 oil it would be the Upper Volta of the North which perhaps explains

Liverpool Caption Contest No 2 - Growth Industry Discovered in Scouse welfare safari

I take it all back. Having suggested that the entuire population of Liverpool were workshy welfare addicts I apologise. It seems that there is one industry that is booming in the Scouse welfare safari. The local paper (The Liverpool Echo) boasts that the City has become a net exporter. Can you guess of what? Er... As scouse twitter bums urge their fellow welfare grazers to abuse me how about folks in the hard working South of England suggest suitable captions for this picture in the comments section below

Caption Contest: Shocker for Liverpool as scousers told they must work to 76

Does stealing hub caps count as work? If being a professional full time "victim" now regarded as a career choice? Is drug dealing now seen as a career in retail distribution. This tweet below from the Liverpool Echo opens up so many possibilities.

Can you suggest a suitable caption designed to offend as many of the pathologically workshy residents of the crime infested welfare safari that is Liverpool as possible. Remember this is a City where folks always suffer because it is someone else's fault and ayone who suggests otherwise is forced to apologise.

And that brings me to a few comments on today's other Manc Soap, the strange tale of Brokerman Dan. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast Special - Brokerman Dan Quits Sefton Resources

With a fifty grand golden thank you my pal Brokerman Dan has ended his career as a crony capitalist at Sefton Resources (SER) after just two months and twenty days. Back in the welfare safari of the Manchester slums that £50,000 will go a long way, just think of all the rats you can buy to feed the kids a roasted treat, think of all the crack and illegal cigarettes you can ship in to sell at the school gates. I imagine that Dan now has enough to buy half the sink estate. I discuss Dan's payoffs, lessons I am sure he has learned, CEOs on twitter and where this leaves Sefton.

The BBC is RIGHT to suspend and maybe sack Jeremy Clarkson

I have defended Jeremy Clarkson when he has been attacked unfairly – for instance when he made a series of factually accurate comments about the workshy semi feral population of the welfare safari that is the slum Liverpool.  I cannot think that I have ever written a pleasant word about the politically correct nest of paedophile friendly vipers that is the BBC – I would privatise it at once. But for once I stand firm with the waste of taxpayers cash that is the Beeb.

Clarkson is alleged to have thrown a punch at an employee of top gear. In every single workplace in the country such conduct would see anyone – even a CEO – suspended pending an investigation and, if found guilty, fired. Simply being a celebrity does not buy you an exemption. O it should not buy you an exemption.

I see that Noel Edmonds is arguing that the BBC should accept that “stars” have to be treated differently. Rubbish. One of the facets of the sad decline of Britain is our lamentable worship of the cult of celebrity. Folks want to be famous just to be famous. And when you are famous somehow you get to live by different rules.

Maybe that is the way our nation is going. Maybe simply by being famous you can be allowed to hit your staff. What else are you allowed to do as a celeb which we plebs cannot do? Steal, cheat, murder? I don’t know but where exactly do the celeb-worshippers draw the line?

It was, arguably, this cult of celebrity that allowed Saville, Hall, Harris and the other monsters to get away with what they did.

Call me old fashioned

Jeremy Clarkson is not an oaf or a buffoon for describing the welfare safari that is Liverpool 100% correctly

A balding and obese individual who turns out to be the Lord Mayor of the welfare safari crime hotspot known as Liverpool has branded Jeremy Clarkson as an “oaf and a buffoon” and for “stigmatising” the post-industrial Merseyside wasteland, saying “People up there earn less, die more quickly, have fewer jobs and live in houses that are worth the square root of sod all.”

As it happens on this matter Clarkson is 100% factually correct. He is not stigmatising the folks in Liverpool he is giving an accurate assessment of life up there. Clarkson may or may not be an oaf and a buffoon but his latest statement does not prove that matter either way because he is simply telling the truth.

The reaction of the lard-bucket Lord Mayor (has he ever had a real job in his life?)

Dan Levi only earning 33p a month at Sefton – ShareProphets new Charity Single : Feed the Slum Boy

Brokerman Dan has called in from the Manchester Slums to say that he is not earning £1 a month as the saviour of Sefton Resources (SER) but will be the lowest paid executive on AIM earning just £1 a quarter. Even by the standards of the welfare safari park known as Moss Side that seems a trifle low but we at ShareProphets care and so our writers will tomorrow be gathering in Clerkenwell to record our latest Charity Single #FeedTheSlumBoy. All proceeds from the single will be sent direct to the deprived folks on the welfare safari. Once again with apologies to Bob Geldof & Midge Ure:

Sad about Deirdre Barlow but what is this about a serial killer in Manchester

My wife, a lifelong devotee of Coronation Street was naturally devastated about the death of Anne Kirkbride who played Deirdre Barlow in Coronation Street. This tragedy  was not reported in her paper of choice, the Guardian, so it was left to me, skimming the red tops at the tobacconist, to break the sad news to her.

As I have admitted before, I have started watching Corrie myself to get an insight into what life is like in the grim, frozen post-industrial welfare safari park that is the North of England. As far as I can make out about one fifth of the population is a homosexual, most folks are on welfare but the rest earn their living selling drugs, selling stolen goods or shipping stolen goods in white vans while a few work in factories making underwear. Everyone in the North lives in a house with a partner and some kids who belong to one half of another couple living elsewhere down the street. And someone gets murdered in the street every six months. It is all very baffling.

But now I read of “the pusher” a serial killer
