New tip on my Nifty Fifty within 24 Hours and the old t1ps team 100% reunited as one at RMPC

While thousands ( sometimes tens of thousands ) of folks read my scribblings here and on shareprophets.com a far more select audience read what is on my premium site, the Nifty Fifty, which I produce with Steve Moore and Lucian Miers. My best ideas go there first. It is expensive but you pay for getting the best ideas first.

In our heyday at t1ps Steve Moore and I had a great track record. Over 11 years and c 240 tips our average gain was c 42.5%. Of course t1ps is now written by a couple of fellows who were still at primary school when the sire was launched. They claim the record of Steve, myself (and Robert Sutherland Smith) as their own in marketing material but it is OUR record. I can assure you that we never outsourced to primary schools.

Robert Sutherland Smith has been writing with me here and at www.shareprophets.com for a couple of months now and the news this week is that he will also be leaving t1ps for good at the end of September. The last of the four staff who I really rated at t1ps is now 100% over the line and working with me again on a full time basis now: Steve, Robert, Darren and Lucian. It has taken less than a year.

Looking back on that year I reflect that it took me 6 years at t1ps.com to create a media organisation with 15,000 readers. It took another four years to get that number up to 50,000 (which is where it is today, albeit falling slowly). Tom Winnifrith.com was launched as a serious blog about a year ago on my return to England. Since then Nifty Fifty was launched on October 28^th 2012, OneFreesharetip.com on January 2^nd 2013 and Shareprophets.com on April 13^th 2013. In less than one year the number of registered readers across the four sites is in excess of 25,000 and the rate of growth is accelerating.

It is easier second time around and when you work only with folks you rate.

Anyhow in the spirit of RSS Steve and I shall be serving up our next tip on the Nifty Fifty this weekend. Robert would approve as it is 100% tangible assets and cash backed. And a growth story.
